Professor song is an amazing instructor, Chemistry isn't easy but if you put forth effort you'll do fine. Study at least 3 hours a day and ask for help if needed.

Chemistry is tough as it is, but Dr. Song was super helpful. I took this class during the summer so it was very fast paced. Makes sure to study and keep up with your work. The final is worth 30% of your grade.

Very awesome teacher that is willing to help outside of class. This is a hard class just like all chemistry classes so put the work in. There is a lot of extra credit offered at the end of the course. I personally got around 30 formal points ^^ Reach out, study, do homework and youll do fine!

Professor Song was such a great chemistry instructor, especially for my first ever online college class. She was quick to respond to emails, gave great feedback, and recorded lectures that went over problems similar to those on the test. The homework wasnt awful, just go over the PowerPoints and it should be an easy A.

The homework was easy to get a good grade in, her powerpoints were pretty good and easy to understand, if you do the review she gives 10 extra points on the test and the attendance for the labs were madatory but she did not penalize you if you could not make it to class or came late. Best chemistry teacher I have ever had.

Easily one of the best professors I've had. Responds to emails very quickly and is extremely organized. The class was very laid back and not stressful at all, a stark contrast to the other chemistry teachers at CPCC. Makeup work was available for every assignment and may even let you retake tests. Do yourself a favor and choose this class.

Took professor Song for Chemistry 151 during Spring of 2022. Shes super caring in a way that she wants you to understand the subject & wants you to get a good grade . So as long as you do the assignments & the test review she will allow retakes on test . Also responds fast to emails and help out. Therefore - you choose your grade In the class .

I was lucky that I took chem 1 and 2 with Dr. Song. If you do the homework and practice the problems, it's impossible to fail this class. I really appreciated having Dr. Song this semester! I am new to CPCC and taking transfer credits and being one of Dr. Song's students has made it easier! I took an online course from her and she was very fluent in using technology and was very thorough in her explanations for assignments.

She was very easy going. If you completely flopped a test, she would let you retake it. Do the extra credit assignment. She also gives partial credit for answers on the test!!

If you have to take chemistry, I suggest taking Dr. Song. She goes through lecture pretty quickly but you can always stop her to ask questions. All reading assignments are online. She ALWAYS will prepare you for a unit test (5 total) & the review test on OWL is similar to the unit test. If you did bad on a test, you're allowed to retake it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I enjoyed class with Professor Song and I do plan on taking CHM152 with her as well. She is very, very caring and understanding. She is also very accessible outside of the classroom and responds to emails very quickly. There is a lot of work and homework that is required in this class but it's because its a 4-week summer course.

I had Dr. Song for 16 week fully-online CHM-151. Chemistry is naturally harder for me, but Dr. Song is so good. A LOT of homework/online textbook readings, but she gives extra credit. She is willing to work with you if you need extra help, responds to emails in a very timely manner. Overall, if you put in the work and try, she is willing to help.

Obviously the course was not easy due to being condensed into 4 weeks, but we covered a lot of material and Dr. Song was always helpful and easy to contact for questions or concerns.
