Easy class. HW is always assigned and collected. All exams and quizes are open book.

He goes too fast doing the drawings on the computer, also his exams are hard. However, he's better to take than the Italian dude Giovanni.
He's a nice guy and knows his stuff, but he expects you to learn quickly. Asking more that 3 questions a day puts you on his bad side (don't do that); he's easily annoyed. Don't argue with this guy, that ticks him off, he appreciates nice people. He
He is a very nice guy, he is not good at teaching. He does not know that much and he could never answer your questions.
Appreciates people who work hard and are enthusiastic. If you seem interested and ask for EC, he'll give it to you. Hes an engineer, he knows real life applications of knowledge, but cant always anwer every ProE question.
never trust him wen he says you are geting 'A' or 'B+' for the course.. he will screw u over..

I'm still asking myself what did I do to end up in this guy's class. Everybody in my class agrees that he's too rude and harsh, has no manners & is very unhelpful. I didn't learn a thing, he goes too fast and expects us to remember it all. Worst prof.ever

AWESOME TEACHER.. he likes people who are nice and work hard. If you go up to him and give him an attitude or try to act like you know more than him.. then I suggest you drop the class because he will screw you over big time. I've seen him make girls cry
had him for numerical methods. his teaching is inconsistent, he is rude, and he has no sympathy. he thinks he knows everything but wouldnt be able to take a derivative w/o using maple. avoid him. he's an ****.

Good teacher. If you show up to every class, do all of your homework (he assigns homework every class), and listen intently, you will get an easy A. Exams are open book. The class helped me a ton for when I took ME430.
Knows the material. Little too quick sometimes. Likes shortcuts. You have to go to class to understand the material.
Not clear and helpful. Class is boring. Gives open notebook tests but they are so long that you have no time to use notes.
definitely a rude guy, gets pissed by questions. Knows the material pretty well however.
BEST math teacher I've had at NJIT. He speaks clearly, is patient, very helpful, and best of all - he's not indian!
Gets mad at you if the lab computer has trouble running the program that is required for the course. He spends about half an hour going over the class exercise then runs out and lets his TA do the rest. I wouldn't recomend taking him.
He is very rude. Does not listen to people. He believes that he is right and other peophe should listen to him. His acts like he is the best teacher and nicest guy but he has a big attitude problem if you question him. The worest teacher I ever had.
worst teacher ever... Can't teach, hypocrit, harsh grader. doesn't care about students. took first homework grade and multiplied by 3 rather than grading rest of homework assignments.

Cool guy, learn a lot from him if u ask. dont think that u can actually get everything out of college just from prof. u got to read the dam book. In proE u realy should sit down and do each project cause every one of them is different. it builds u up thereofre dont cry about it if u dont know it.
he was great. a very nice man, there should be no negative comments for this class. he only dislikes if you disrupt him while talking. he gave us breaks like cancelling the friday recitation as much as possible. very kool i hope to have him again, would reccomend to anyone
Doesn't care much about the class. Class meets once a week, and he leaves early every week, about 1-2 hours early. Class is awesome, professor is not.
Very nice teacher. Great grader and he explained everything we needed to know in class.
good teacher, class was interesting the first half of the semester. the book is actually good for once. Be nice to him and he'll be nice to you. Don't say stupid comments to him or your gonna fail.
I agree, do not attend to say sh*% about him when u know u failed the exam, especially when u copied it of someone and handed it in and it didnt work. Just do your work, this isnt high school, GOT IT?
This guy fakes kindness. He is strict bout grading.Take home matlabs were graded as COPIED from others due to code and graph being same. The hell was that!!Gets pissed off if u leave class even 4restroom.He wants us to behave like his school times, back in da days.He said this himself,"when I was in school..blah blah blah..we shud do that too".rite!!
Very good teacher. has a genuine interest in helping you understand the material and pass the class as if you were his own kids. only thing is he has a problem with people leaving for the restroom or coming in late (and thus disrupting the class) but thats not a big deal. this guy truly cared for you to do well.

He's a pretty cool guy

Absolutely Horrible!!!When he teaches, he often skips key steps and formulas and goes straight to the answer. His handwriting is horrible and never explains anything fully.Pretends to care about the class but really dosent.Dosent want a bad rep(fired).I asked him for his office hours and he replies "Don't worry, my TA will go over it with you".
Excellent teacher. Do the homeworks and you have an easy A. The quizzes are 1 question with a practice before it and the problems come from the homework. Goes over everything you need to know for the tests and quizzes in depth and is more than willing to work on whatever you don't understand. Be on time, stay quiet during class, and do your work and you have an easy A. I'll definitely be looking for him for future math courses.

This guy is the man. I actually witnessed him lower a girls test grade when she complained about how he graded her test. Never question a prof. judgement, i think she dropped, after crying! He was excellant! Just do your work.
GREAT TEACHER!!! had him in the summer and he teaches fast and understandable. you should take him, if you get two As in the class, you are exempted from the final.
GREAT!!!!! TEACHER!!!!!!!!!! same reason as last comment!
Be cautious if you are learning HTML/JavaScript/Java for the first time. His teaching style is horrible and he is very unhelpful. I recommend taking another professor.
Great guy, amazing teacher, understandable and helpful...is truly willing to help, just show him u wanna learn and he'll bend over backwards for you!
he wont let you get away with stuff if you show your trying.... if you are weak in math dont take this guy.. he will screw you over..
very nice guy and will help his good students do well. He is very fast paced and tends to do alot of mental work without showing it.

Be cautious with him. And be careful with him. His teaching style is different then others. If you show him that you are doing your own work and working hard then you will be fine. Do not cheat in his class. If caught, big time fight. Also u need to know the subject well enough otherwise he is tough.
he was awesome!!! gives great notes and helps you understand anything you need help on.
he doesnt know how to teach
He is a great proffessor he will give you a break. you must do his work. if you practice what he teaches you, you will be fine and you should get an A or a B+
I've taken him at Rutgers Neward for Computer Science, and thought he was difficult to understand. But... back then I was a slacker. A few years later, I continued my education at NJIT, and met Prof. Assadipour. He is a very helpful professor who wants to see that you are interested in succeeding as a student. Great professor, must have.
I've heard he's good for thermo or stress analysis, but I didn't care for him in system dynamics. The exams are fair and manageable, but the book is horrible and he doesn't do a ton of examples. He's a very nice guy and tries to help everyone out, just not the best at lectures.
Just do what he wants you to do. Class wont be hard if you do his work
Good teacher. Very nice. May seem a little mean at first, but he notices a smart noodle when he sees one. Knows what he is talking about and very helpful.
Pretty good teacher, although he just kinda copies what's in the book onto the board for lectures. His grading is rather fair and helpful. His final was exactly like his quizzes and homeworks!!! Gaah!!!
He is a pretty bad teacher and a REALLY mean guy who doesn't treat his students with respect. His class is pretty easy, but his tests are a tad unfair and basically the hardest problems from the back of the chapter. Just study the hardest problems in the book and you will easily get an A. If you just do the homework however, you will have trouble
DO NOT TAKE THIS SADISTIC MORON FOR THERMO 1!!! HE WILL SCREW YOU WITH HIS EXAMS. THEY ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE. HE DOESN'T TEACH, HE JUST COPIES THE SOLUTION MANUAL ONTO THE BOARD WITH LITTLE TO NO EXPLANATION REGARDING THE MATERIAL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
His exams and quizzes are right from the book, but his final is total carnage! He definitely screwed me with his final. His lectures are boring and could leave you befuddled, so it's a great idea to have the solution manual as well as previous quizzes and exams.
He goes over things too fast, and expects people to know what he's doing without explaining himself properly. The textbook doesn't really explain things much better; I had to learn how to use Autodesk Inventor from someone who had taken the class before. Also, we used an older version of the program that was less intuitive than the newest one, imo.
not hard but he goes over it like 30 mins slow which everyone does it in 10-15 mins and on his test if you get one wrong he takes 5 points off
professor has no idea where the class is at. He teaches like everyone knows what they are doing. He flies through everything and explains nothing! Horrible professor!
One of my most favorite professors at NJIT. However, you must show up to class, do the work he demonstrates, do the HW he gives, etc. hes not an easy professor for most students because he actually wants u to do the work and understand it as much as possible. This goes for both MET 103 and 105. he will even grade ur HW and tell u to redo it.
Useless, cranky Professor! He can teach out of the very textbook HE WROTE...and charged you $65 for! Avoid him if possible. FIRST THREE LETTERS OF HIS NAME SAYS IT ALL!!!
One of the worst I have taken. You use his book he wrote. It wouldn't be so bad if he edited it what so ever and there is errors on almost every page. He told our class we didn't have to pay for it if we didn't want to, but still questioned the students that didn't also seemed to lower their grade if you didn't. All I can say is DO NOT TAKE HIM.
Does not know the material very well. Managed to mess up a problem copying it from the solution manual. Would not recommend.
One of the worst professors at this University. Gives you random programs to type up without telling you what everything does. Expects you to know everything. Does not know how to teach. Would not recommend.
One of the worst professors out there. Explains things too quickly and is not good at explaining. His homework is not too difficult but it takes up too much time. Also expects you to save all your handwritten work but doesnt tell you ahead of time.
Worst Prof I have ever had. I currently hold a 3.8 GPA and almost completely blew because of him. He goes over a "pre exam" and makes the actual exam totally different, he says don't study the book, make sure you study the book. All I can say is he did curve in the end, most likely because the entire class would have failed. WARNING: DO NOT TAKE!!
I am really not sure why this guy gets such bad reviews. He does go quite fast, and sometimes it is not so clear, but he can be pretty helpful. You get everything back graded in a reasonable amount of time and his criticism is very constructive. Pay attention and DO NOT mess around in this class and you will pass with flying colors. Good Luck :)
He is a good professor. He has had a lot of work experience and knows what he is doing. If you go to class and are able to keep up with his pace you will get an A. FYI he has a pet peeve with cell phones, if you take your out in class he will kick you out.
NEVER take this professor. He is orthodox and wants every student to suffer. He teaches something, gives sample test paper on something else and asks another thing in the actual test. He DOES NOT teach in class, he just states things and reads slides. Asks to write and explain totally worthless and unimportant stuff in homework.
WORST PROFESSOR EVER. He thinks you should know everything. Would not recommend him. Goes too fast over the material and does not teach properly. You will just sit in the class and keep thinking what he taught. Has a thick accent and makes it very difficult to understand. The students correct his mistakes atleast 3 times in one class DON'T TAKE HIM
I don't know why people here complain about Dr Assadipour. I believe he is a great professor. He is not perfect, he can get a number wrong but then correct it. He always answers questions if you don't have it clear. His tests are tough, so you have to study hard for your grade. I would definitely recommend him, he is a fair grader and very nice.
No one knows what is going in class. He doesn't teach but tests are based on relevant stuff. He is absent minded, so always ask about homework and other stuff, he might not say anything. Tests may seem tough, but there are tricks to breaking them. Also, take everything he gives seriously, cause he might say not credited, but it will be.
professor is hard to understand and goes through autocad very fast. not clear and does not slow down in his explanations. hopefully someone in class can teach everyone else.
Really tough to understand, gets mad when students as him to repeat himself, final grade seems to be random. Completed all assignments, passed every test with an 80 or higher, was present in every class, but still gave me a "C". Avoid this guy if possible.
Dont listen to the comments, they just want easy professors, that is why they talk bad about Dr. Assadipour. He was one of my favorite professors at NJIT. He is very helpful and he grades very fair. Material is tough, you won't have it easy, just work hard. I learnt so much with him, I would take him again. I got a well deserved B with him
He is the worst professor I have ever seen. You can't hear what he says in the class. He is always very confused with his work, his teaching & his knowledge about the subject. He does not at all understand students' problems. He himself does not have sufficient knowledge about the subject.
His Awesome If any one can't cope with this professor you can't cope with any other professor, hard work is required to pass, he makes work and project easy and he gives credit as long as you come to class and listen and do your project.
Its his own textbook that is is FULL of mistakes, doesn't teach the basics in CAD, Doesn't know the difference between Model space and paper space. Super rude professor.
This is a good class for the students who know SQL before hand, and are willing to study the material. The first test is a give away, the second midterm prepare to put in some effort. Same applies for the final. I didnt prepare adequately so I lost my A.
Not a Good Professor. Trust me. You tried and you will see. He is not a good one. I am not sure why he wants to be a teacher.
Dr. Assadipour is the best professor at NJIT. He will demand quality from all his students as well as professionalism. Go to class, do your work, and act like the adult you are supposed to be. Period. Extremely knowledgeable if not overly qualified for everything he teaches! Learn from him!!
If you know SQL and programming logics in advance than ADMS is an easy subject. He just check for logic and how you implemented it in exam(total 3). Submitting homeworks(total 4) on time is important. Pre-request quite is important so don't ignore it as well.
Eight out of Fourteen classes were less than 1.5 hours. Most of his notes had errors. Though it looks like he has learned and possess good knowledge, but he did not seem interested in teaching those concepts. Skimmed through most of the concepts. Neither provide transparent grading nor follows his own grading criteria.
Half the time he teaches just for an Hour for a 3 hour class. Does not take interest in teaching. Does not solve the queries asked by students. This is the last class that you want to consider to study DBMS. Just speaks in a rude manner
Don't take this professor if you have any other option. You will get an easy "A", will not learn anything in this class.
trash. Saw him washing his rice bowl in the sink.
