Ok, so he can be a little on the dorky side, but overall he is a great teacher.

He is a very interesting teacher and very helpful. He makes sure the entire class understands the material. Overall, he was an awsome teacher and he is easy going, not mean at all.

He's probably one of the best math teacher I've ever met. He makes math easy and makes you understand things. He teaches it step by step. Although at first, he was a little bit unorganized but after that, you'd know his style and the rest is easy.

he is a good teacher makes math very clear he may go a little fast but if you ask him questions about something that is not clear he will take the time to explain it. If you have to take a hard type of math i recommend him

he's a good teacher. he doesn't give too much homework (has you do the odd problems so you can check your answers in the back of the book) and explains math pretty well. he's nothing too special. i would recommend him to anyone who has a hard time with math.

I would not recommend this teacher to anyone. Hard tests, puts the most challenging questions on the test. He gives partial credit but it does not help much. Even if you get the right answer and the work is wrong he will take off points. Gives quizes at least once a week if not more. He is a clear speaker. dont recommend.

Mr. Fahs, is a "great" teacher! Great person, very helpful, and works with your schedule. It is very to understand his lectures. He is AMAZING!!!!!

The material is hard for me, but he makes it way easier with how he teaches. Extremely clear in lectures, helpful and answers questions. Open notes/open book quizzes help. I hate math but he is one of my favorite teachers.

Mr.Fahs is a pretty koo teacher. he Makes me laugh "ha ha ha" like that. And he makes things easier to understand. and he's REALLY sexy.

Fahs is a very good teacher. Math I find, is not particularly hard to teach, but when dealing with certain students it can be made difficult. Grades fairly but very precisely. NO extra credit. Should participate. He does seem to be either insecure or has a temper.. not sure which, maybe both. I would recommend to anyone serious about learning.

Love this teacher! Very helpful when you need help, does not let you down. His quizzes are from the notes and your homework!For the tests are also from notes and homework! STUDY!ATTEND CLASS. Do the homework and YOU WILL pass. He makes math easy for those that have a hard time with it. I would highly RECOMMEND him!

Hands down by far the BEST math teacher I've ever had! His tests and quizzes are not tricky, basically they get to the point and if you do your homework and pay attention in class, you'll do just fine. He is the best teacher ever, and I still go back and ask him questions even though I'm not even in his class anymore because he's just so helpful!

Fairly easy class, just attend because if you miss a day of lecture you may fall behind. Always bring book on quiz or test days because he allows you to use the front/back cover. Attendance isn't mandatory, you just get graded on quizes which is almost every section or 3 and graded on tests.

Great Professor! Funny, smart, very helpful, very nice! Let you use index card with formulas for exams. Gave study guides for exams & final. Best Math teacher I ever had :)

He is a great teacher. I had not taken math in 10 years, and with his easy teaching style, I passed. Right now, he does not collect homework,it's just for your knowledge, and he lets us use hw and book for the quizzes, and an index card on the test. Plus, he's eye candy with a sense of humor who knows what he's teaching...Not boring!

Take his class if you can!! You will learn so much just by going to class, his class won't be boring and stressful like other instructors(LA10). Mr. Fahs cares about YOU learning and will take the time to help you.

He is a really good teacher. He explains everything as much as he can. He provides help before, during, and after class. You can even do your homework online if you don't want to do it the old fashion way. You must do the homework. Tests aren't that hard, quite easy if you do the work. Best teacher I've ever had!

Good Teacher Overall!

Professor Fahs is the best math teacher I have ever had. He actually makes it fun and easy to understand. He reviews everything just before the test. I didn't have to buy a book because he has an arrangement with the online book to do homework and practice tests for his students for free.

Awesome teacher. Quizzez and test are really easy as long as you take notes and do homework you will have the answer to the problems. Recommend to always attend class cause he always surprise you with quizzes or pop quizzes at the beginning of class or towards the end.

Fahs is great, easy to understand, clear and consistent, impeccable writing. Many quizzes and 6-7 exams but he takes the material from the book. Open-note quizzes. Do the HW, take lots of notes, and you will ace this class. He is available for tutoring and will readily explain something to you. Tracks your grades for you. Made me LOVE math!!

Amazing teacher. If you are not a math genius, this class is for you. The class goes fast, but he explains everything thoroughly. He treats everyone with respect and is a fair with the tests. He gives study guides for the test which prepare you for the test.

Fahs is the best teacher I've ever had. He made me like math! Very clear and helpful, and explains things well. Never puts students down. Makes study guides for every test. Textbook is not needed at all, HW is online. I wish I could have him again. He will go out of his way to help students. Take him if you have trouble in math.

Best class I've ever taken thanks to prof Fahs excellent teaching. Subject itself is hard but with hard work and dedication you'll pass. There were about 8 A's at the end of the semester. If you work hard for an A and out in the hours of work you'll get it. Good luck.

I took Professor Fahs while still currently attending highschool and he was one great professor. He made me feel welcomed into the college class. If you show up to class beforehand with questions regarding the homework he will spend as much time needed with you until you understand it. All in all, he is a fantastic professor and I recommend him.

I took him for math14 and he was really helpful, i would recommend him to anyone that struggles with math!

I had Professor Fahs for both Calculus 1 and 2, and he is a great instructor. I would recommend you enroll in his math courses. The quizzes should be seen as a good thing, because they will prepare you for the exam. Best math professor I've had so far.

Professor Fahs is a great instructor! He was always answering questions in class, even the really easy algebra ones. If you want to do well in his calculus class pay attention to his lectures, do all the homework assignments, and ask him for help.

i took him for a online hybrid math class, you only go once a week to class but everything else is online. homework, test, etc. its not hard you'll mostly be in the lab doing all your work, and theres tutors and other instructors there to help with whatever you need. Anyway, hes not rude or doesnt yell just keep up with the modules dont fall behind

He is great prof. His lectures are amazing. He also funny. And the best thing is that he really care about student and helps by his best way.

Professor Fahs was very helpful and did all he could to make sure I succeed. It's an online class so you have to make sure you are consistent with doing the work or you will get behind!!

Always answers questions in class; makes sure to review previous material even from other classes; gives well-rounded study guides before exams w/ questions that are similar to his exam questions; uses WebAssign for hw & allows students to do the problems until they get it right without penalty. Tests are a little tough; picky grader, but fair.

So many good things I can say about this professor, but I'll just say a few. He is great at teaching & he actually cares about his students success in his class he goes out of his way for who ever needs extra help!Also instead of dropping your lowest score he will let u retake for a better score,this is great so student can actually learn the work!

He is an amazing professor that really does all he can to help his students succeed. He even sends out emails during the weekend telling us about studies related to studying in order to motivate us to not procrastinate. Tests are tough but really make you a better student. Hard work that pays off and rewards you with knowledge :)

He is one tough professor but you will come out of this class being very confident in your math skills! (If you put in the time an effort.) I strongly advise you to listen to him and study vigorously.

He is an outstanding professor. His class is tough so if you want an easy pass and dont want to get anything out of it then go to another professor that hands out A's. BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! always available to help students with any questions they have, lets u retake every test once, online homework but allows u to redo every question however many times u need to get it correct. this class IS a lot of work but you learn so much and if u do all the homework and practice it is very possible to get an A.

Honestly the best math professor I've ever had. For such a hard subject as Calc II, Fahs takes time to thoroughly explain steps, review/provide examples, review homework (do the hw!) and actually answers student questions. His tests/quizzes were difficult, but fair (he didn't test what he didn't teach.) Overall a nice guy with a sense of humor.

H. Fahs is easily one of the best professors, I have had in my academic career. Calc 2 is uncontestedly the hardest class Ive had, and Fahss teaching style makes learning the material bearable. H. Fahs is a caring prof. and is helpful when approached. When asked a question about a problem, he will answer concisely. He can help you succeed.

One of the best math professors I've had. Does a great job of explaining the steps and techniques to solve problems and has a very to-the-point teaching style. There are no surprises on quizzes and tests as they are reflective of the hw. He is easily accessible outside of classes, will answer emails, and is very helpful. Highly recommend.

Professor Fahs is a great instructor. This class was by far one of the best math courses I've taken in my life. His lectures are organized, he prints out the worksheets for students and is always willing and happy to help. He genuinely cares and wants you to pass. Tests and exams are to the point taken from the quizzes and lectures.

I had him for Calc 2. You get 1 retake for the whole semester. Write down everything he does, do the homework, and make sure to redo them if you dont get full credit. Open note tests. I recommend him!! Keep your work organized as well.

Professor Fahs is a really caring professor who will do his best to have his students succeed. His exams are very similar to problems encountered on the homework. His lectures are easy to follow and he doesn't mind reviewing the algebra needed for a certain topic. Amazing professor overall.

I took Professor Fahs for Trigonometry/PreCalc last semester (R117). His lectures were very thorough and were easy to understand. Material provided for homework reflected what to study on tests/quizzes, which I found extremely helpful when studying. Professor Fahs is excellent at what he does and I plan on taking his class again in the future.

This professor is genuinely my favorite math teacher I have ever had. He's so accommodating, and his teaching skills and knowledge about calculus is just unrivaled. He breaks everything down simply when you need help, but don't think that this class is easy. His teaching is REALLY GOOD, but the topic that this class covers is still really hard.

prof fahs is an amazing professor and an extremely accommodating person. clear cut lectures, with exams reflecting homework and examples given in class. not an easy class, as its calc, but an A is very much achievable.

If you want to get the best grade possible TAKE THIS CLASS. Professor Fahs made the topics simple and easy. He is a great professor who cares about his students. PS: If you put the work in, this class is easy.

I agree that he is a really awesome professor I love how visual his lectures are & he allows formula sheets on exams but I found him particularly strict on grading. He would mark my exam and hw answers wrong if I didn't do them the exact way HE taught it, even if correct. I failed with him and passed much easier with another prof the next semester.

THEE BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! Idk how he made Calc2 easy, but he did. I learned so much in his class. He is really good at explaining how everything works and has no problem revisiting old math concepts you may have forgotten or never learned. The exams come with a formula and trig sheet. Just make sure to get a calculator that cant do integrals

He was amazing until our second exam, I don't know what happened but he started being more harsh when it came to grading and provided no explanation, but he lets you resubmit to get full credit unless its late. Exams were fairly easy, the final however was nothing like I had ever seen. If you ask questions and study enough you'll be fine.

Professor Fahs is amazing, lecture are easy to follow. Examples are similar to the homework and tests, if not then you can ask him any time and he'll give you a detailed explanation. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the one group project that had nothing to do with what we learned and the final being 20% of your grade, it's a make or break honestly

The Best Math Professor I Have Had So Far In College. Would Recommend

Funny and smart, was doing well in the course, doing well on exams, held an A in the class until the final that was 8 surprisingly difficult questions and 20% of our grade. Didn't do so well, me along with many others ended with a high B+. But if you're just tryna get calc 2 over with, this is the right professor to do so.

There's a good amount of assignments that you need to keep up with. But other than that, he's great. His lectures are really well because I understood what he was saying. There are three exams (+one retake) and one final to be done. My lowest exam grade was a 99 so he gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. One of the best professors I had.

There are pop quizzez for but he allowed you to work with other and is open note so there not that hard there also take home quizez.. The exams are not that tough he lets you bring one sides sheet of notes plus any handouts he give out during class. Overall not much homework he doesent collect it all only certain probleam.

I took Calc2 over the summer in a six-week course. It seemed daunting at first, but Professor Fahs explains everything in lecture better than any professor I have had in the past. It was enjoyable yet challenging, with clear grading criteria to the point where I was able to guess the grade I would get on exams the moment I left the room. HIGHLY rec

This is the GOAT of math teachers. I got a C in Calc 1 with a different prof. and an A in Calc 2 with Fahs. His lectures are engaging and easy to understand. His homework matches what is on the test. "Cheat Sheet" allowed on tests, gives lots of extra credit, 1 project (easy). Please take this professor if you struggle with math.

Amazing Professor if I could have him as my professor for all my math classes I would. Professor Fahs is a phenomenal professor. I would definitely recommend his class
