Hussien Khattab is probably the nicest, most caring, and helpful teacher i've ever had. He'll go out of his way to help you get a good grade. A little hard to understand at times because of his accent, but is excellent at explaining things.

This is one of the best math teachers that I've ever had! He's so helpful and understanding. Even though his accent is thick and it's hard to understand him sometimes, he's very thorough. He is also funny. And, he always let us out of class early! You're stupid not to take this teacher!

Dr Khattab is a great teacher. Iv had him for three classes and he has helped me very much in each one. He does his best to get you a good grade, but you have to put forth a little effort first. He gives partial credit on tests and quiz's, and as of the last class i had, he still didnt require any homework turned in. Overall one of the best teacher

Took him for Basic Math. Very easy, lets you ask as many questions as you want, works everything out, and has a funny sense of humor. Never have homework, just quizs and test...very easy as well.

Khattab is THE BEST algebra teacher on planet earth. He really prepares you, and does not try to trick you with the tests and quizes. He even gives you a prequiz or pretest, with step by step solutions, so you understand everything before the actual test. Be prepared to take lots of notes and always ask him for help if u need it.

He was the best math teacher I have ever had. He has an accent, but you get used to it. He is really funny and encourages class participation. He grades on attendance, but you get three free absences. He gives prequizzes before the actual quiz and thoroughly goes over them day of the quiz. I highly recommend him.

I took Professor Khattabs Intermediate and follwed up with him in C. Algebra. I graduated many years ago and never had to take alg. in H.S. So when I started TCC I had to start at basic math. Ilove this teacher he does evertyhing can to insure you pass with good grades. I made A each semester I took him.

I loved taking Professor Khattab's class. He made sure that I understood the Concepts that he was teaching. His door was always open to students. (I'm really not a Math Student) He broke complex formulas down to bite sized pieces that even I could understand. I walked away with an A for the class! Actually I just made an A on the final Today!!

Statistics is a hard class but he makes it very understandable and gives a lot of help he always reviews before every quiz and test as long as you show up you will make a good grade

I had him for stat. Talk about hardest subject made into the easiest class I'll probably ever take. Showing up to class was mandatory (one point per day) But, worth it. 10 to 15 questions on his tests and quizzes. Able to use notes on the test and quizzes were take home. If you had any questions he'd answer right then! So helpful! Love him!

AMAZING POFESSOR! Not only did I learn a ton, but my love for math also grew tremendously! He provides clear and simple explanations and is always happy to help. Mr. Khattab made learning trig an easy experience. He explains concepts really well and has great handwriting to follow along. Sure he has somewhat of an accent, but if you can pay attention he makes it real easy. He has a couple take home quizzes and tests, no homework, multiple choice exams, no bonus but he will work with you to make sure you get a good grade.

His accent is hard to understand but his class was very easy because unlike other instructor he teach you short cut. I don't always attend class but I got a B in the class because the way he teach is extremely helpful. Unlike other he teach you how to find the answer not just doing all the unnessecary steps that confuse you. RECOMMEND

Hey is a great teacher, however he never replies to emails, and doesn't put grades up in blackboard. if you have a hard time in algebra i would deff take him, i took this class and College algebra at the same time, not hard at all if anyone was interested, depends on you algebraic comprehension level but he is outstanding, dont buy the book!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Mr. Khattab, he knows that algebra is a necessary evil...his teaching methods are great...The quizzes are short and the test are pretty easy, this is not an easy subject so attendance is mandatory...I'm taking him for college algebra next semester.

He is great at teaching math! I came into class FEARING algebra but leaving the class I can confidently say I have a sound base in the subject. He does have an accent and writes a little smaller than I'd like so you will want to sit as close as you can to ensure you never miss anything. Lastly he is pretty funny, its math so dont expect a comedian.

Dr. Khattab is a terrific math instructor. He does a fantastic job of explaining some difficult topics. His homeworks assignments, from MyMathLab, are the right length and really help reinforce his lectures. Each chapter has a quiz - which can be attempted 3 times. Tests were short, but covered the material. Excellent instructor.

Mr Khattab is great! I learned more about algebra I and Trig in his review at the beginning of the course than I did from last semester. He knows he's teaching a difficult subject (Calculus) and makes it incredibly easy to follow. Everything he teaches is a stepping stone for the next section and he makes sure you understand before he moves on.

Best math teacher EVER. Understands students are not mathematicians and explains the material thoroughly. Gives opportunities for extra credit on poor test scores. Lots of points for attendance and will work one on one to make sure students understand. Very detailed exam study guides and he works the pertinent problems in class.

Amazing professor,very good and teaching and explaining algebra. Gives you a test review before test and sometimes lets you use the review when taking the test. He does use my math lab, but doesn't give a lot of questions on the homework. I highly recommend taking him. Once you get past his slight accent he is very good at teaching algebra.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Many students in the class, myself included, struggled with math. Mr. Khattab did a great job at making sure no one fell behind. He also does a great job at encouraging class interaction. I would always laugh when he would ask a question and the class would be silent, then he would say "HELLLOO?"

Crazy easy class. Show up, do the homework online, and have three tests. He does a curve at the end so as long as you pay attention you'll do fine. I didn't buy the book because when you buy the code the book is on mymathlab. Easy A!

Dr. Khattab is fantastic. I took algebra 15 years ago in high school and made Cs and Ds. I was so scared to take algebra. Khattab made it easy to understand and he gives you THREE chances on quizzes and takeds the highest grade. I received an A in his class and i could not be happier. I would take him again in the future.

Khattab was super easy and taught everything to your understanding. Class is not mandatory but very helpful if you go. Homework and quizzes are online. My only complaint is his accent is pretty heavy and difficult to understand. But once you get past that, he's a great teacher!

3rd time taking Dr. Khattab! Easy going, and not a harsh grader in Calculus 2! Tests are just like the study guide, just different numbers! Doesn't mind you asking questions. Beware in his Calculus 2 class that 2 of his 3 tests are not multiple choice, but usually isn't much harder than the study guide. Stay focused, and you will pass! Awesome Guy!

Every class is a lecture providing you with the skills needed for homework. Typically presents from Powerpoint. Dismisses class soon as lecture is over. Always reminds you of due dates. Attendance is important being it is for a portion of your grade. Once you get past the accent, he's a great teacher. NEVER OPENED THE TEXTBOOK ONCE.

You recieve attdence I depise math mainly because I struggle with it but I absolutely love the class. I have made hundreds so far. Homework and quizez are done on a mymathlab and get three chances on quizzes and infinite on the homework. This class was the best Math class I've ever taken. However, you have to be willing to do your part. Attendance is mandatory, but that is understandable because he explains everything important in order to do the homework, which he is lenient with. He earns your respect throughout the semester, and you feel accomplished when you make him proud.

I've taken Professor Khattab for 2 classes and am enrolled for a third during summer. I hate math simply because I struggle but I love his classes. Work is online and you get unlimited tries. Multiple chances on quizzes also . Lectures are easy to understand and he is there for you. Attendance matters. He cares about students. Recommended.

I'm disappointed reviews that say he's fast paced. This is my second semester taking him for Algebra classes and I've signed up for him next semester as well. He's a compassionate teacher, extremely helpful and cares about his students and their comprehension of the subject. Don't get it? Ask. Still confused? Ask again. He really is dedicated.

Good teacher for clarity. There is homework but it is doable. lets you use graphing calcs which is wonderful. Understands the stresses of life and lets you turn in late work. Tests are easy if you did homework. 10/10 would recommend

Absolute best teacher I've had this far. Khattab sweeps away all my fears of complicated math I'm the future and I wouldn't dare take another teacher for any of them! The only complaint I would have isn't really valid, it's just that he's a little too lenient on assignment due dates in my opinion, but like I said, not really a bad thing!

You will have homework. Extra credit will be given. He is very helpful and wants you to learn and do well. If you are respectful, do your work and go to class you will do well. He's a great teacher and organized.

If you are struggling; he will explain it again, try another problem, or word it a little differently until it makes sense. Khattab is hands down the best math teacher at TCC. His lectures are pretty boring, but they're tolerable. He's very smart and he makes sure you understand what to do. we went over like 6 chapters and had 1 assignment and 1 quiz per chapter, and only 3 tests all semester (1 being the final). If you're awful at math like me, Khattab is the way to go

Doctor Khattab made Beginning Algebra for me. I didn't get it at all in high school, or in college until I took his class. He made it make sense. If you think you can't understand algebra, take his classes. You'll change your mind. He is a great teacher. I'm taking College Algebra with him, and then Elementary Statistics.

I'm SO LUCKY and privileged to have ended up in his class! He does go pretty fast, as he is covering both beginning and Intermediate algebra. He will answer questions and re-explain on the spot. He knows where all of the great resources are for more practice and study. Very personable and approachable. I want to take his college algebra class next

He's an awesome teacher and does not give you anything difficulty to work on. Anything you dont understand or if hes going too fast, just tell him. He will slow down and go over it again to be sure you understand it before you leave the class. He review with his students before the quiz. Which helps alot. I would totally recommend.

professor hussain is by far the best teacher i have ever had i failed intermediate algebra 3 times before i was able to get into his class passed it the first time with a b then passed college algebra with a b he is very helpful and he wants you to succsede in life if you fail his class its because you just flat didnt do any of the work

By far one of the best math teachers I have ever had. I was not one that liked math but after taking Dr. Khataab my view of math has changed. He made things simple and easy to understand and if you don't understand something right off he has no problem simplifying it. He also helps a lot during his office hours if you're lost on something.

He is a great teacher! Very willing to help you just need to ask. Homework isn't that hard. Tests are easy if you study for them. He gives out study guides and works them with the class so you know what he's looking for. I would 100% take him again!

Hes very hard to understand because language barrier. However if you pay attention its not that hard. Gives extra credit. You can get 100% on every homework assignment. No pop quizzes. Will reopen closed assignments if you didnt get to finish them. Hell stay after class and help you if you need it

Prof gives you alot of time to finish assignments, easy A. Test can very on difficult, some problems he assigned on the study guide didn't correlate with the test, UNLESS you did the homework and actually understood the section. He didnt reply back to any of my emails but which was a bummer, but it could just be me.

WOW literally could not have picked a better teacher! He really knows his stuff and he cares about his students. Homework, quizzes and tests are online. in total you can get about 25 points extra credit but you wont need them because you can get 100% on HW and quizzes. Most of the work can be done in calculator which makes tests pretty easy too.

Gives about 20-25 points extra credit. Pretty easy homework and quizzes. He goes through the exam before the exam which makes it much easier to do well on the exam. Will work with you. Great Professor.

One of the best math professors at TCC. All of the homework was online, which was nice. I enjoyed his class and his fun personality. At first, I was concerned about taking PreCalc I&II at the same time, but it wasn't hard at all. If you have to take all 3 Calculus classes, take PreCalc I&II at the same time, it will prepare you for Calculus!

I really enjoyed Prof Khattab's Pre-Calculus class. He made it fun and easy to understand. I highly recommend him for any Math classes!

Mr. Khattab is the best Maths professor I ever learned from. He will make you learn the toughest topics very easily with tricks. Lots of extra credits and exams are easy. You won't find any other Maths professor as good as him. If you show up, pay attention and do your best, it's an easy A. He is a rare gem.

I took Dr. Khattab for Calculus (I) and he was amazing. He is the best math teacher I ever had. He prepared me well for calculus (II), especially that I am a math major. He is very patient, caring, understandable. His lectures are very enjoyable. I wish he teaches calculus II so I will take him again and again.

I've been avoiding pre calc for the longest time. Turns out its actually one of my easier classes. Dr. Khattab has a great way of teaching to where its easy to understand and also offers extra credit if you do the study guide before the test. If you go to class and listen you'll pass with flying colors. I really enjoyed his class and he's hilarious

Wonderful professor! I previously took pre calc class a year ago and made a D, Im taking Khattabs summer class and I have an A. He has clear expectations and gives you a study guide exactly like the test. He teaches you how to use your calculator and gives extra credit. Show up, do your work, study a little for tests and youve got an A!

One of the best. I took his Summer 2019 Statistic and he was phenomenal. He very well explains the concepts. He care for his students and wants them not only to succeed but also with a decent grade. I wish he teaches other courses so I can take him again and again.

I was so scared of taking a statistics class because I had always heard that it was extremely difficult. I just finished Professor Khattab's summer course and he explained the material so well that I actually finished the class with a clear understanding of what exactly statistics was. He genuinely cares about his students and their success.

Ive never been good at math but I did so well in this class! He gives extra credit if you do the study guides, which are super similar to the tests. Also the way the homework is set up allows you to have unlimited tries so you can get 100 on them

Dr. Khattab is amazing. During this Corona Virus Pandemic we completed the course through video conference. He spent a lot of time lecturing and solving hard problems using a white board and marker. He also, provided us with a lot of resources. To be honest, that was a great and pleasant experience for me.

I am taking Quantitative reasoning with Dr. Khattab this semester. This is my first course with him. I love his way of teaching. He goes the extra mile to help. Very clear and organized syllabus. Always update the grades on BB. In a nutshell he is the best math teacher I have ever had. I will take him again. Take him you will love it.

I took two of his classes for the spring semester (Essential Precal & Precal) and I am so glad I took his classes. HW due on Sunday, few quizzes-fairly easy. When you do have a quiz you don't have hw. I recommend taking his class !!

Dr. Khattab was the best statistics professor I could have hoped for this summer. Each unit test comes with a study guide for extra credit, and all you really have to do is keep up with the MasteringStatistics weekly online homework and quizzes and you can easily get an A.

I loved taking Dr. Khattab, he has a thicker accent and occasionally is hard to understand but he is very nice and understanding. Only had 2 or 3 assignments that were online and fairly easy.

Great Professor! His accent makes it a little hard to understand at first, but it gets better throughout time. He explains things well and simply where it's easy to grasp the info. He offers 10 extra credit points if you do the study guides before every test. Responds to emails promptly and is always available to help.

His lecture are easy to understand as long as you take note. He give you about 3 assignments to finish every week on MyLab, which are pretty easy to get full point. His quizzes and tests are easy as long as you do the study guide and they are a bonus points as well. And you can use your note during tests and quizzes.

I love his class. His lectures are easy to understand and the assignments are easy. His study guides are very helpful. You will pass his quizzes and tests with an A if you do the study guide and they are also 10 bonus points. You can also use you note when taking tests.

His online format is easy to follow and easy to be successful in. All homework assignments are completion grades, quizzes are three times each and tests have study guides that match the test VERY closely. He is easy to get email but tends to struggle getting the assignments online each week. Overall, he is a great teacher and I would take again.

If you have trouble with math, take his class. Works out every example problem along with you and makes sure you understand every component. Wants everyone to pass. I recommend taking in-person for this one. Willing to help after class and online. Provides extensive study guides for everything and even gives extra credit for completing them.

He uses MLM for every assignment so everything is very straightforward and you can do things multiple times to make a better grade. He explains math in a way that makes it very easy to understand. Study guides in class go over the exact problems (different numbers) right before the exam. 1 homework after each class and 3 exams. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Great professor! Lots of work but if you put in the time its not to bad .I would recommend him if you need a math class. He is very patient and gives you opportunities to succeed in class.

Every week you have 2-3 10 question assign. (10 pts each) & 1 30 question quiz (15 pts each). Well over half your grade relies on 3 tests (200 pts each). I missed 4 quizzes/6 assign. & still finished with an A+. He doesn't teach, if you don't understand something you have to read the book yourself. Super easy A if you're already proficient at math

He is always willing to help on the assignments and homework. The tests are exactly like the study guides. Awesome professor. I would def take again.

Professor Khattab is AMAZING! I don't know how anyone could NOT pass this class - he is clear about how to approach problems and gives homework that gives unlimited tries so you can really understand how to do problems without fear of bad grades. Khattab is a great professor. He makes complicated math seem easy. There were 2 weekly assignments (approximately 10 questions each), 4 unit tests, a midterm, and a final. I had no trouble in his Precalc 2 class. Def would take his class again

This professor was great, he extended many deadlines if he felt the class needed more time. He also provided extra credit work in every unit. He does talk pretty fast and once you get used to that everything is smooth.

Professor Khattab's MATH1513 class is a must-take. He explains concepts clearly and provides great resources like unstuckstudy ai to help with study prep. Workload is manageable with tests once a month. Attendance is key to succeed.

This man is a fantastic online professor. His Calc I class offered extra credit opportunities with every test, and he lets you have a full sheet of notes on the tests, which you take either at a testing center or at home with a lockdown browser. The material can be kind of hard but the class itself is super laid back.

Relied completely on MyLab with outside resources available. Study guides basically identical to quizzes/tests aside from numbers involved: allowed a sheet of information on all tests, so if you copy down the steps for problems, you'll do well. My class (online) was allowed to take the final unproctored. Just get your work done and you'll be fine.

Your grade is basically how much effort you put into your online work. Super easy, and you can use cheat sheet on the tests which are identical to his study guides besides numbers!

he is very funny and smart! I would def take him again, he made learning math easy for me (someone who hates math). I recommend everyone to take him! He is adorable and wont mind explaining anything to you that you have any problems with. He does really love math and his job, and he is very chill.

Very good professor and person! I looked forward to his amazing personality and our classes, they were the highlight of my week. I recommend taking him he is the best. His tests are also very easy and similiar to the study guide while at the same you learn SO much from this teacher.

Math is not my strong suit. The study guides help a lot, but there are no lectures from Professor Khattab in the online class. It is all through the textbook and videos that looked like they were from the 90s. I found the class difficult just due to not being naturally savvy at math, but Professor Khattab was very flexible with deadlines.

Math is hard but he makes it so much easier! study guides before every test with the exact questions in the exact order just different numbers! Take study guide to tutoring center and have them help you then take the test and it will all make sense!

The class was not bad. Study guides were the same as the exams but just different numbers plugged in. Homework was pretty easy. You can take in a sheet of formula with you for the exam.
