He is a wonderful teacher. He is very helpful and he breaks everything down so that you can understand it. If you have to take business math.. he is the teacher to take PERIOD. The only problem that i could anyone having is the accent. But other than that after the first couple of classes you will understand.

Wow this guy is awesome. He is the most helpful teacher I've ever had. He breaks down every single problem and tells you why you have to do each step. He's not the top of teacher that doesn't BS when teaching. His accent is a little hard to understand but after the first class you'll understand without a problem. TAKE THIS GUY PERIOD!!!!

"Tim" Ngo is a professor must have! I had him for both College Algebra and Trig. If I have an opportunity to take any other classes with him I will. He explains everything well and is very patient if you need help. A little hard to understand at times, but its easy to overcome!

The only problem I found with this teacher is that he expects his students to show all their work on test I mean ALL if you dont he will take points off. He gets his test questions from homework and lets you use cheatsheets so I advice you to copy the solution manual because it shows the step by step if you do you will get a "A" for sure

He's working on his PhD and Full Time at Dallas County. You cannot ask him much in his office hour. BUT he is very decent and easy to get ?A? as long as he sees you putting in the effort.

When it comes to math, I'm hopeless! But Mr Tim helped our class before and after class when he was available. By test 2 I had a C avg but I took every last test he gave including the final, since it was comprehensive that put me at an A. If he talks to fast as him to repeat it or stay after class.

Probably the best math teacher you can take. Sort of hard to understand at first because of his accent, but you get use to it. Book is optional. He has an attendance grade that you can use to replace your lowest grade. He will help you with any questions you have. Go to class put forth effort and he will help you get an A like I did. Must Take!!

Good instructor. Explains exactly what you need to know from textbook. You will have to study a lot, because the material is difficult. You will adjust to his accent very quickly, and if he sees class is not understanding what he says, he will write it on the board. Good about answering questions. Does good test review.

VERY cool teacher, i stink at math and i still made an B, his grading system is awesome make sure to go to class everyday...he gives extra points. his accent is kinda hard to understand but it comes to you after awhile, if you make a honest effort he wont fail you it trys every possibility to pass you and sometimes with a higher grade

I love this guy, I did not test well at all the entire course, even got a 79 on my final exam and still got an A. If he is available at whatever level of math, absolutely take him! Will take him again for Calc II.

Mr. Tim knows all levels of Mathematics and teaches other courses. He is GREAT! I took his Wintermester class and got a B. All u need are notes and MyMathLab he wl give you a hwk wrksheet if u don't have access to MyMathLab but is quite helpful to get good grade on hwk. He is willing to help as much as possible just attend class regularly.

You must attend class if you want to pass. Mr. Tim covers new topics every time class meets. Homework done online at mymathlab.com. Mr. Tim cares about his students especially when they complete homework assignments and attend class.

he was simple and direct in teaching calculus III....Do the homework and check everything to see if its right because it will help you on the exams. The grading was fair but anyone still can manage to get an A just like i did.....

Extremely helpful, classes are extremely interactive, not just "this is what I say not do it." Exams are adjusted to overall class knowledge. If he see's that you study and want to learn, it is next to impossible not to get an A. You put forth an effort and you WILL get an A. Taken him for 2 classes and received an A in both. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

YOU MUST ATTEND EVERY CLASS OR YOU CANNOT KEEP UP! Otherwise, he's the cutest and friendliest teacher in the entire world. His classes are fast-paced but he's so helpful and easy to understand. Getting anything less than an A+ in this class takes major work.

This professor is awesome! I hated math prior to coming to his class. He has made me have more of an appreciation for it. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is very fair when it comes to grading. His exams are only about 20-25 questions and he has plenty of reviews prior to testing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!

Awesome teacher! I've always had trouble understanding math until I had him as a professor! He doesn't make it harder than it has to be and he always shows you the simpliest way to solve the problems and is always willing to help and go over anything you're having trouble with. Mr Tim is a great teacher, he will go over anything you ask him to, and he is so sweet and kind. And if you need extra help he is willing to help you during his office hours. And the test go off of his reviews, and he gives 13 optional quizzes and if you do them you can replace a test grade with a 100. I HIGHLY recommend this professor.

Very picky on the attendant. Mr. Tim knowledgeable of the material and expected students work hard to earn the grade. His 16 quizzes will be replaced the lowest test was wonderful.

Extremely picky on the attendance. You will become his enemy if late or absent for his class. He won't understand for you under any circumstance. Otherwise, very nice and very easy talk to professor. His classes are on the Sat. only though.

Dr. Tim is literally the best math teacher I have ever had. He really wants you to succeed. If you take another professor you are dumb. Make the drive to whatever campus he is teaching at at the time. I took him for a May mini semester and it was the best decision of my college career.

I disagree with the comment below. I used to be terrible with math and I have passed with an A in this class. His tests are almost the same as the practice tests he gives, just different numbers Attendance is a must since its only on Saturdays. I frankly found his quizzes harder but only count 7% towards grade. I would highly highly recommend him!

Took him during the summer. He was great, and really knew what he was talking about. He like to take questions from the homework and examples. So if you do them you will be fine. Towards the end of the class during the last 4 sections, he stopped explaining things indepth, so you kinda had to teach yourself. But he was funny and overall very helpfu

Amazing professor. Is the reason i passed Calc 2 after struggling at UTA. Straight forward and helpful. If you are working and can put in only limited hours of work, he is your guy.

Professor Ngo was great. I wouldn't say its an easy class but he makes it much easier. Just understand the concepts and review the assigned examples and homework questions for the test and you shouldn't have a problem.

Excellent professor, he doesn't assign a lot of homework but he gives examples relative to quizzes and exams . So just review relative examples that are given and you will be well prepared for each quiz and exam, he gives pretty big grading curves so you have every opportunity to pass. Very clear with the grading criteria as well

Tough class: Tests are long and hard. Dedicated Professor and very clear on material.

Tim is an excellent teacher. If you miss a day of lecture you'll end up being behind. but its so easy to learn from him. TAKE HIM! only if you're willing to make an effort. the test questions are similar to the ones on the review so real simple.

Excellent Professor. He makes you work for your grade. He wanted to help: "Any Question". He encouraged you if you got mistake: "We learned from our mistake".

He is GPA Professor. Given extra points for all tests and Final Exam. 100 points on your practice test in mymathlab 10 extra points on your tests. My advise, do your homework and practice tests, you will get good grade.

The test questions come straight from practice test. Mean you must do your homework. He's also give extra points, 87 points Practice test 8.7 extra points. Only lazy, idiot fail his class. Down side, his class is on Saturday only.

Huy Tim Ngo is the best Math teacher EVER! you definitely dont need a book. He will print the most important topics on each chapter and give you in class. The print out chapters are literally what will be on the exam, every single one of them just different numbers. You need to do your homework and quizzes online through mymath lab. love HIM!!

Mr. Tim is a really cool professor, I took all Pre-AP classes during high school so this class was a breeze for me. His class is super easy, show up take notes, pay attention, do the pratice test and homeworks and you are guaranteed an easy A. 10/10 would take him again.

ABSOLUTELY TAKE THIS CLASS! Took an online flex 8wk course. 2-3 hws per week (easy, only like 12 questions each) TESTS ARE EASY A's!! He gives reviews that are 17 questions and for the tests, he uses 13 of the review questions and changes the numbers. If you DO THE REVIEWS you will get an A! Tests do have a webcam. I suck at math and got an A+.

He is great, if I can pass his class anyone can if yo put in the work.

Attendance is mandatory. The document needed for any makeup assignments, no excuse. If you are absent for the pop quiz "the document needed". Nice Professor though.

Professor Ngo is awesome! He help your with all your questions and stays after class if you need help. He give you an easy quiz every week. Test is a major part of your grade but he gives a review weeks in advance, do the work and you will pass the exam easily.
