he has an accent but after few classes you will get used to it, he's very funny and cheerful person. he makes sure that everyone can understand the material before he moves on, provides good examples and He is the best teacher I've ever had. Professor Dinh is a really nice person. His class is not easy, no note cards are allowed on quizs or exams but does give partial credit on wrong answers if he can see where you went wrong. If you struggle with math this is not the class for you.

His style is rather fast, so if you're going into the class that day cold, you will probably feel lost. However if you have questions in class or after class he will cover it with you until you get it.

His Vietnamese accent is hard to understand at first, but if you really listen, like you should, you can understand him easily. He tells you how to calculate your grade so you always know where you are.

Sure his accent makes him put students away at first, but he's the kind of teacher who is willing to try his best to clarify and "take one for the team." Do study though, preferably doing the homework ahead of time.

My one issue with Mr. Dinh is, when he explained the math,and he saw that the class was understanding what he was teaching, he'd begin to skip steps and move fast. And some people do get lost when he does this, but all you have to do is ask him to slow down, and he will. Besides that issue he is very helpful and he does want everyone to succeed.

Absolutely amazing, I took a year off and his class is the one i took to get back into it, the class is mostly online he takes all of your tests and quizs directly from stuff you learned the week before, if I remember right he gives 6 tests and replaces your two lowest test grades with your highest. Such an easy A. He's also pretty hilarious.

While I struggle in math, I really like Huynh. He's funny, and although hard to understand sometimes, his lectures are relatively clear cut. I recommend asking questions whenever you don't understand something, though. He give you a list of problems he recommends you do at home, but doesn't grade it, so be prepared to be self motivated.

Mr. Dinh is so funny! As far as his lectures go, he's always willing to answer questions, which is good because it's easy to get lost sometimes. Don't be afraid to correct him when he writes things down wrong on occasion. If math's your thing, this class will be easy; if it's not, he's very helpful and will answer your questions.

Amazing teacher, he was extremely active in the learning process. I wouldn't have wanted any other teacher to take this subject with. He has a bit of an accent but I don't think that inhibits the class in any way.

He gives many small quizzes, but they aren't hard. He goes over what will be on his quizzes and test before he gives them. As for any math class, you need to study and ask questions if you can't understand the material (or his accent). Not a difficult class- you may have a hard time understanding the accent, but that is all.

I was lucky enough to be recommended to take professor Huynh Dinh for calculus and I must say it was a good choice indeed. Even though calculus is a challenging class, having a teacher like Huynh Dinh was a great learning experience. He made class fun to be in even though calculus is not a fun subject.

This is my third time taking college algebra, and thanks to this professor, I finally passed! He is extremely caring and keeps students updated. I took this course over intersession, and it was a lot of homework and content but it was manageable. Math is my worst subject, but I still managed to pass - definitely take this class!

One of the best math instructors ever, he replies to emails fairly quick. All practice exams are very helpful for the actual exams, he used the final exam to replace the one of your lowest exam, so it is very helpful to move up your grade, if you do good on your final exam. Course material is a lot, but easy to learn because it is online.

I took Professor Huynh this past fall, let me tell you if you're taking an upper-level class and if he is teaching it TAKE THE CLASS! He is so understanding and really wants to see his students succeed. I remember doing horribly on a test and he added back some points. However, there is a good amount of homework for his class.

Math has always been a hard subject for me and it is normally one of my least favorite classes, however, Professor. Dinh has done an exceptional job of not only helping me to understand the subject and excel at it but actually enjoy the experience. He is not the easiest professor I have had, but he grades fairly and is willing to help anytime.

Huynh Dinh is a good professor that I feel I would be better off taking classes from in person. He uses an online program exclusively to teach as well as MANY youtube videos to supplement the textbook if you need. There are lots of resources to learn from, but if you get stuck there's no way to get unstuck except going outside of class.

Professor Dinh often gives very detailed instructions on the steps of solving problems. He explained all of the concepts concisely and thoroughly so that we understood what was going on. He answered all questions and would explain the process in detail if students did not understand completely.
