She didn't explain herself clearly enough in class. She 's misunderstood because she has a west-Indie(carribbean) style of teaching, which is militantly strict. But do avoid her at all cost if you want a hi g.p.a.

HORRIBLE TEACHER!! she actually made us do GPA assingments then felt the need to discuss them infron of the whole class, how embarassing, also she gives way to many assignments and marks way to hard CHANGE PROF'S!! You may do well in the class, but theres too much work for the class it is!

I cant belive this piece of crap is a part of my life now. This is the worst instuctor ever. This course was suppose to help me succeed in college instead its bringing me down with her useless assignments that she takes so seriously. U cant understand what shes sayin Hard marker for the Fun of it. And will not help u at all her time is to important

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this teacher. Do not waste your time and money on this prof. she will bring down your GPA. Switch to another Prof. for this course do not waste your money. Constant power trip, she thinks she's the best, hardest worker, good luck if you ever question her greatness, made mistakes due to her vagueness, or miss 1 class due to appointment, even if you email be4 and see her the next day, she'll stubbornly defend her authority, when class started there were 35+ students, now is midterm, only about 12 remand

Do not belive any of the good ratings about her because it is not true. Here is a true fact; there were 30 to 35 people in her class at the start of the semester. Than around the start october there were 16.Start of November there were 5 people left. This was all due to her marking(it was very biased and inconsistent) Stay away from this Pig!

This prof. for some reason does not want the people that she does not like to pass. If you are not very talkative she wont like you and if your to talkative she will also hate you. She is great because she will definitely give develop space for students so in her eyes students are lazy, nothing, without any vitue. On the contrary she never leave develop space for herself because she looks herself as the perfectest person in the world.

She really talks A LOT. Sometimes its just best to say what you need to say, and move on. Dont spend 10 minutes on a topic if you only need to say two sentences. She also uses the word "ethics" a lot.

Well she is one of the toughest and old school style teacher, if you born in 21th century please consider go to other classes. content she teaching in class are useless and confuse your understanding. she asks so many questions and you must answer. I could not change my class so I go to other class at the same time it will help.

"Avoid her like the plague". She uses double standards everywhere. Do not wonder, if you get low mark or even 0 for doing the assignments according to her recommendations. Today we have passed the last major assignment, and she told all students, that they used incorrect style of headers and had to reprint their works. "AM I MAKING ANY SENSE?!".

She just explains a lot of definitions from the book. Lots of short answers on tests which are strictly marked.

I don't understand why this professor demands maximum respect. She is not a productive faculty member because half the time she talks to Shelia next door. Every time I go by, whether its Shelia or not its always socializing, even during office hours. Seneca needs to step up management. Talk once in a while, but actions speak louder than words.

Seneca has some great Proffessors but Hyacinth is clearly not one of them. She is NOT respected by her students. She gives good grades to students that suck up to her. Terrible, I attend all my class', including hers. She is rude, impatient and if I had done more research I would never have taken her class. Students BEWARE! I would recommend finding another Prof, if your GPA matters to you, she will ruin it without a second thought. Someone one day will go to the Dean and she will have to pay for her ignorance

I took her course once. At the begining everything was fine. I have a learning disability and I made one mistake on my exam and she failed my on the exam. I was also going through personal issues and even as I sat there crying in front of her she showed no mercy or remorse. It's no wonder why only 8% of her students would take her again. New Job!

She is in the classroom for decoration. This teacher always tells us to read the instructions from the textbook and then just expects us to magically understand it from there. Her Black Board information is empty. Literally no posts about class documents, no class outline and no faculty information on how to contact her.

Has no idea about what she is teaching. Her instructions are not clear. No point of going to this class because you are reading out of the book. She provides no weekly schedule and no feedback of the work, quizzes, or test you complete in class. She doesn't posts documents on blackboard.

She become so aggressive and rude upon little things. Did not reply the emails. Non-cooperative.

she doesn't teach all chapter completely but asks you to read by yourself. When she comes to the class, she starts yelling for no reason. Totally she has negative vibes in the class. Does not give you a proper answer or proper feedback.

She is a great professor. But she marks very poorly. You will get 0, if you make any spelling mistake, even your overall idea is correct. For BAM101, my advice is that attend your classes and read the powerpoints very attentively. Because most of the questions are from powerpoints. Also, careful about every assignment, even though it worth 5%.

I work two jobs to pay my tuition, so the only chance I get to complete my studies and homework is later in the afternoon. whilst working on my homework, I e-mailed the professor some questions, her reply was an abrupt, "don't message me". This professor is very strict and also very rude, avoid if you want to have a good grade and a good time. She can spend 30min just lecturing you on why it's important to have your camera on, and if you're attending class while your camera is off, she will still mark you as absent.

She cares so much about attendance, and grades so tough, and always wants you to answer her questions exactly how she wants them answered.

This professor has a good sense of humour but is also extremely rude. She does care about her students but she shows it in all the wrong ways. You have to do everything according to exactly how she wants it or you will lose marks. She was overall a very unpleasant professor and I recommend avoiding her if you don't want a tough time in the course.

This professor makes students very uncomfortable. If your camera's off, then she'll automatically assume that you're not there or that you aren't paying attention. She might even call your name out in the middle of a lecture while other students are there listening. Don't enroll in any course with this prof if you don't want a bad GPA.

I have never seen a worse professor than her, her lectures are always long and never cover everything, she is rude when she speaks, in class your camera is required to be on or she'll spend class making sure everyone's camera is on instead of lecturing, hardest marker ever I even lost marks on a paper for not having clickable links in my citation

The teacher has a controlling teaching style. There's little to no break during class, and even going to the washroom can be stressful, especially if you carry your phone. The class feels oppressive and hard to focus in. Homework is heavy, tests are tightly timed, and grading is extremely harsh. Not ideal for a balanced learning experience.

Not a very good prof in terms of assignments, it could be your own opinion and she still will mark it wrong when the question asks specifically for your own opinion.

I actually liked her in a half-amused way. Unfortunately her tough-love style is not backed up by any functional teaching ability. Her explanations are vague, often using outdated examples. Technical ability sub-par. She demands participation but actively discourages it by her actions. I would have been better served just reading the textbook.
