Hyunyoung Lee is a professor who really wants you to learn, she does have an accent but you can clear hear her. The problem was the proofs, she would take the whole 50 min class to deeply explain one proof and when the tests and quizzes came around it would be done a whole lot differently. Expect to be reading that book if you want an A.

Lee is a decent professor, her accent is a little thick but understandable. Her class is a very difficult one and she moves fast so pay attention or you will be lost. The class is pretty difficult. There are about 8 homeworks and you have to type it in latex. Also there is a quiz almost every day. The tests, she expected almost a masterly level of understanding. I feel the material is not hard but the way she taught it was very difficult to understand. She is a nice lady though. No curve for the summer session.

Professor Lee uses a textbook she wrote with another professor, and pretty much just reads straight from the slides in the lecture videos. She seems really nice and gave a ton of extra credit, but the class seemed much harder than it needed to be. It was hard to get a good grasp on the material.

Lee is super easy to reach out to for questions and her office hours are great. Her context is naturally hard since it's mostly math, but most of her quiz questions come from her videos. Her test are usually similar to the quizzes. She also gives out a ton of extra credit. As long as you watch the videos this class shouldn't be that hard to pass.

Literally the most difficult class and prof ever. She makes you use a dumb software for hw (only prof i heard that does this) and they take you like over a few hours each. The material is really difficult to grasp, her lecture videos/explanations are not helpful whatsoever if you can find a better prof, do it. If you're stuck, just keep pace/pray.

My experience with Dr. Lee has mixed feelings. On the good portion, Dr. Lee is highly reachable. She has responded all of my emails and discussion posts in less than 24 hours. She is also really clear with expectations for class. But, Dr. Lee's lectures are confusing, and the textbooks are verbose. Take her if you know how to self-study Well.

The professor cannot teach. She reads math off of slides; I mean who does that? There are regular practice quizzes, and the homework is typed in latex and is graded quickly, but no feedback is provided. The class is easy if you are willing to learn on your own. The videos and slides are useless as she copies the textbook; reading the book is better

Professor Lee is very smart and clearly knows discrete math. Does that make her a good professor? No. She re-uses 4 year old (horrible) videos, and expects you to play a scavenger hunt through her textbook to find the actual info you need. I enjoy doing the homework in Latex, I only hate the way she teaches. Id rather my tuition go to TrevTutor.
