AWESOME PROF!!!
Interesting Prof. good class
I loved his class, he was very easy to understand and very approachable
Excellent Professor, Kind, Helpful, and interesting
best Psych teacher at STU
rock on fraser. no one but you and you're hilarious classes could have gotten me out of bed for an 830 class. you rule.
I loved his classes because he made them interesting. He always brought enthusiasm to the class and that is the most important thing.
Hands down the best prof at St. Thomas. You will regret it if you DONT take a class (or three!!) from him. Trust me and everyone else here! FRAZ RULES!!
Great prof, nice guy. Tried really hard...and is very clear.
an excellent prof. he knows his stuff and knows how to teach. he is very enthusiastic and funny. his night classes go by really fast. i definately recommend him!
Best Prof ever!
Fraser is awwwesome! I look forward to taking classes from him in the future. Always keeps my attention and keeps things interesting!
He is an amazing teacher. Makes the material clear and easy to understand. Definately recommend him, anyone can do well. So easy to learn from.
Hilarious!! He says things in class which I like to call 'Fraserisms'. For example "When I'm walking, am I completely level with my head? NO!". He's very entertaining, and really wants us to learn, not just memorize:)
You just have to love Ian!!! He is the best psyc prof ever. He makes things so interesting, which encourages me to go to his 3 hours class. His examples are amazing, when it comes to test make sure you take lots of notes because most of it comes from them
Ian Fraser ROCKS!!One of the best profs that i have come across at STU. He brings excitment to the classroom, is hiliarious...very entertaining. Kind of prof that makes you wanna go to class, i would recommend him to everyone! :)
Absolutely amazing teacher.. time flies in his class... tests are to the point, no stupid trick questions, LOVE HIM!
FRASER IS THE BEST PROF AT STU!! Amazingly funny, entertaining and his repetitive examples drill info into your head so you'll do great on his tests! Also, his perception and sensation classes have great set up.. 2 midterms and an exam.. no papers!
One of the best prof's ever. Take his class!!
AMAZING
Best Prof at STU by far! If you dont love this guy then its definitely you that has the problem. Take a class with him, you wont regret it
He is a great prof. Don't like the test, but he knows how to teach us and makes us feel at home.

Class is long and boaring. Tough not to fall asleep. Make sure you bring a blanket and a pillow you are in good nap
excellent prof
Terrific teacher! Keeps you entertained, even when the subject matter is really boring. Says "right?" a LOT, but just try and ignore it. Once again, great prof!
Loves his students and shows it. Very interested in his course and therefore very interesting to listen to. Funny and smart, he's helpful and treats students like adults.
This class can be really boring, but pay attention because he makes it interesting and applies everything to everyday life. Careful he seems to yell a little bit (wonder what that does to your hearing) But overall my favorite class!
Absolutely amazing professor. One of my favorite classes because of is teaching ability. He definitely makes the classes interesting if you listen
He is so laid-back and easy-going, it's awesome!
Excellent prof! My favorite prof by far that I have come accross. Definatly take one of his classes if you get the chance they're awesome!!
Amazing proff, Wish he would adopt me, feel like i get smarter just being around him! Makes a 3 hour class seem like nothing!
Great class. Awesome professor. Perception was easier and more interesting that sensation. Fraser does so much to keep your attention and is really fair about his test questions. Take his lass great for your GPA.
Fraser's awesome!! anyone who is taking intro psyc, try and get in his class.
I had Ian Fraser's class in my first year of university, and I am now graduated...but I still consider it my most interesting class and my favourite prof that I had at STU!This man is GREAT! Take his class, you will never forget it! I still often want to go sit in on one of his classes just for fun!He will make you LOVE Psych!Nice and approachable!
best proff i've ever had try to gt him if ya can verry approchable . the class is so easy it's rediculas if you actuly pay attention and your work, if your having troubble staying awake in class take this one i garentee youll be hanging of his every word.
Please tell me that previous poster is not a university student. Or is the quality at STU that poor? Learn how to spell or drop out! Stop lowering the standard.
OMG take his class...!!!hes amazing!..makes class so much fun and is a great prof!!!!!!!
Sensation was a blast because of this man. He knows his subject so well it's crazy! Any prof that can lecture for 3 hours without referring to any notes is amazing. If you ever get the chance to take a class with him, do it. He's awesome
People! Give this man a hot pepper because he rocks. His teaching skills are inspiring. He raises the bar at STU.
The words "Certifiable Genius" are being strewn around alot these days. However that designation would precisely pertain to 'Fraser'. Check out his new class Visual Perception. His power of deduction is majestic. The material is not easy, but he makes it right
Hey Ian, here's a Chili Pepper for you. You're awesome!
Sometimes you stressed me out, but for the most part, you kept us going and kept us sane all year. Thanks! :)
Here's another chili-pepper!
This prof is AMAZING. i can sit through three hours of his lecturing and still can't wait for the next class. His exams are challenging, but nothing he hasn;t covered in class. The textbook isn't overly useful, your best bet is to go to the classes, because he puts things into context that the textbook can't. TAKE HIS CLASS!! you wont regret it
It was Ian's class that made me want to major in Psych. So interesting!! The best prof. I've had at STU!
One of the best teachers i have ever had!it's definatly worth taking a class with him before your though
Fraser is an amazing prof. Very clear and concise lectures, he has lots of examples that keep it entertaining and interesting. I recommend you take his class!
Love him ! Knows what he is talking about, very clear on everything. Defintly enjoys his job and subject area. 3 hour class was brutal but told good stories and made it interesting
Dr. Fraser is brilliant. He is a genius, and he makes it so easy for his students to learn. He is so well educated in Psychology, and is so enthusiastic about teaching his students. As mentioned by many, his lectures are VERY clear. Is lectures are designed, through his knowledge of the brain, so that students will be able to recall the information
Professor Fraser is the God of psychology. I took AP Psych in highschool, and Fraser's course was exactly the same but more interesting, more informed and a fantastic addition to my previous knowledge. His marking system was fair, he was easy to get along with, and best of all he REALLY knows what he's talking about. LOVE.
Ian is a very talented psychologist. He makes class interesting and likes to clarify what he talks about to help his students better understand. Overall great professor.
His classes are so interesting! You will remember what he teaches you long after finishing his course. He really knows how to teach. Unfortunately, he doesn't have many notes at all, so you must depend a lot on his lectures. Make sure you always go to class and write down EVERYTHING he says!! If you do, you will do extremely well!
Really nice guy, classes are interesting... even though they were 3 hours he pretty much kept my attention. Though he uses too many examples and answers too many unrelated questions in too much detail, so it really drags out the class. But really knows his stuff, and his tests are relatively easy.
Amazing prof!! You NEED to take dictation notes to pass his exams. Makes sure everyone understands the material, and manages to keep my attention for 3 hours.
Best prof by far!
Ian Fraser is my absolute favourite teacher that I have ever had in high school or university. He keeps you engaged in his class, and is extremely entertaining. You also learn a lot because he relates everything to situations in his life. He will answer anyones question, and will give thorough answers. I am DEFINITELY taking another class with him!
Great prof! Helpful, and extremely interesting. The only thing is that he teaches mainly through lectures and not through notes, so attendance is mandatory. The lord of psychology
Love this prof. So friendly and really knows his psychology and law. He is happy to help anyone and his assignments & tests are all fair!
The absolute best prof I have ever had. Uses his knowledge of psychology to keep your attention, make lasting memory associated links, and knows the material thoroughly
Had him for sensation, be prepared to take oral notes but he is a great prof, tests fairly, is quite funny and overall a nice guy. I enjoyed going to his classes and he makes subject material I wasn't interested easy to understand. :) Great prof!
I LOVE Fraser! Easily the best professor at STU. If you have the opportunity to take his class do it I've taken almost all of his classes and don't regret it. He keeps your attention easily even if it's 3 hours. Gives lots of chances to improve marks. You have to take dictation and don't miss class! (But it's worth it, I promise)
Very enjoyable class. The class is usually straight lecture with few visual aids. Love the evaluation scheme - m/c tests and small reflection papers based on the textbook. Professor Fraser is approachable, reasonable and pleasant.
Ian Fraser is an awesome prof! There is no way you would regret taking a class with him, knows how to keep it interesting and doesn't try to do to much in one class!
Most interesting, engaging prof ever.
Awesome prof! Need to attend class because he's just lecture base but so worth it! He explains everything so well and his tests are easy if you take really good notes! And no textbook needed!
Graders way of teaching is absolutely enthralling. I was particularly interested in the subject of the course but somehow Fraser kept me interested for the full three-hour-long class. Would definitely take his class again.
Fraser is perhaps a touch overrated. You must attend all lectures and attempt to write down as much as you can because it's difficult to tell what's important and what's not. He is very intelligent and his lectures are good, but could really benefit from the use of powerpoint (or similar) so that you know what to focus on.
He was a great Professor he was easy to follow, and kept things interesting. His test are based souly on things taught in class.
I love this prof. He goes through the material slow enough to be able to take notes, but fast enough to keep things interesting. He is an expert in his field and always has stories to help you understand. The homework assignments and tests are simple enough, but you still have to study. He has the answer to any question. I loved his class.
Just something to fill my schedule, but it fostered a love for psychology! Focused a lot on biological psychology (as it's his thing; sense n perception).
Super nice prof and has so much knowledge on the topic! Weekly papers based on readings but so simple. Multiple choice tests - which are easy if you study.
An amazing professor! The class was straight forward and simple, and that the tests were easy as long as you are in class and pay attention. Ian is well respected in this field of psychology and the law, and that he was the most caring professor I have ever met.
I loved this course and professor. He is engaging and tries to keep the lectures interesting. His teaching experience shows! He also understands that people have terrible memories and reviews material frequently. If you go to the lecture and study for the tests you should do great.
One of the greatest profs at STU. Definitely take a class with Ian, you won't regret it.
I have taken Perception, Psych and the Law, and Seminar Psych and the law. This is truly the best professor at STU. His tests are hard which is a shame because multiple choice questions don't accurately represent how much IVE LEARNT from this professor. He works really hard to keep students engaged. Highly recommend seminar course, not stressful at
Made the class fun and humorous. Answers all questions you have and is very understanding.
There's too many great things to be said about Professor Ian Fraser! He is someone you want to respect and to impress. His lectures are so captivating and his material is so interesting, you never want to miss a class purely for your own interest in the material (seriously, attendance is not mandatory - but you WANT to be in class, just for him)!
Dont always agree with the trick questions on test but other then that hes awesome. youll learn a lot with this class and its not boring
He is incredibly captivating. I had a 3 hour class with him and it was most definitely worth it. Fraser knows his stuff, and has an awesome sense of humour. Psych isn't even my major, but would recommend to anyone who wants a class well worth their money.
Fraser is by FAR the best prof I have had at STU. Captivating, intelligent and hilarious. I had him for a three hour lecture and was DISAPPOINTED when class was over. Would recommend to anyone this class - you'll learn more about life and the world around you than you thought imaginable.
Fraser is just awesome! :)
I love prof Fraser! He rocks
makes extra credit mandatory and has work to do that doesn't count in your final grade
doesn't understand that when things are extra credit they aren't apart of the calculated grade. lectures were okay but long and he rants a lot so not much content. tests are long and questions can be misleading, one minute a question for online (60-70 questions per test)
Great prof. He makes lectures interesting through the use of stories and humour. I really enjoyed his class and recommend his courses to anyone interested. Fair grader, fair test questions and reviews answers afterwards to assure everyone understands the content even if they didn't do well on the test itself. Cares about your learning.
He's knowledgeable on what he teaches, but his lectures are painfully long and dry. If you have difficulty sitting still and paying attention like I do, I'd suggest preparing snacks to munch on and taking breaks often.
Fraser is amazing! Hes super passionate about psych and likes to tell stories and jokes in his lectures to keep you entertained. He reviews material frequently and explains things well. Tests are simple as long as you pay attention! There's a textbook but you'd be fine without it. Take his class if you have the chance, you wont regret it.
I did not find him helpful at all. I sent him an email when I knew I wasn't doing well in his course and he never receieved it because "I didnt include a subject title" which I found bull. Tests were hard and contained material that weren't in the lectures. Really set his students to fail and I lost a scholarship due to this course. Disapointed.
He is an amazing prof. His lectures always made sense and were very in depth with lots of visuals and real life examples of content.
