gives u ALL the exam questions on day 1. very helpful; tells u EXACTLY what u need to write down for the exams and the paper. just study at least 1 week before the exam and u'll do fine.

Gives the answers for tests ahead of time so you know what to study. Lots of notes to take down. Makes a boring class interesting and he's funny.

Absolutely LOVED his class! Very interesting to listen to. Awesome, awesome teacher. :D Gives questions to his tests for short answer and paragraph questions. Killer multiple choice and T/F though, so it balances out. Still easy to get a good mark. Loved

Dr.Ross is a great teacher. He tells you what you need to know, then you have to study fairly hard, then he'll give you a good mark. Really nice man.

Ian is a great guy. His classes require a lot of work but as long as you do it you will get a good mark. Great prof.

Would be a good teacher for later year students. Too difficult to follow for first years, he never properly defines terms making the course material difficult to understand and grasp. Tests are easy if you are able to remember massive amounts of info.

If you get to know him, you'll find he's nice. Fair marker. Decent lecturer.

He gives you the test question in adavance. If you do them and study, you will do good. Not a very hard marker. Easy going guy. Hint: for presentation, make sure you are one of the frist to go up. Better mark that way!

He explains things very well and you can do well if you pay attention. He is very boring though and falling alseep in his class is easier than paying attention. Very cynical, negative person. Unusual.

His exams are very easy because he tells you what to study, but you will do poorly if you do not study. He is willing to answer all your questions. His assignments are very fair.

Lectures are kind of boring but he does make some funny comments. Exam questions are given before hand and he goes over the material very well. If you take a lot of notes during class and do the questions before hand, you'll do good.

Interesting course, take home midterm is an option, assignments make u think ctitically but if you do the work you will get an A. Everyone has an A in his class if they choose to do the work, this is not a class for slackers. Interesting guy, you learn some pretty cool stuff. Good sense of humor

Sure people can say hes hard for first year students but come on if ur in 2330 or above and you're saying hes hard-drop out! what do you expect? Dr Ross is moulding us to become criminologists.. Oh wait Thats his job! so get used to it. I highly recommend- increase your intellect take Ross's class!

grat teacher, however the inclass tests are suggested. I did both, and put as much time in to both preparing and studying, he marks easier on the inclass (duh) and expects way too much for take-home ppl. but overall loved his class!

I thought Dr. Ross was an excellent instructor! His lectures were interesting and he shares his own personal experience. He gave us all the questions for both our exams and we had to do a presentation...easy marker. If you actually work at getting the answers, you'll do fine...I split the questions with a group of girls, that was easier.

if you want a teacher that is interesting, funny, and gives all the questions to the exams! Take this guy! There is a group project, but that is easy. He hands out a study guide that has the questions to the tests on it! (one to one!) He has had an interesting life..and is very smart

This guy knows pretty much everything, teaches it in an interesting way. One presentation you have to do. He gives a study guide and tells you which questions are on the test.

Ross is a great teacher. He knows how to get his point across. I was never board in his class. His tests arn't that hard as long as you keep up with the class. He gives you the questions that will be on the test and pratically tells you the answers in his notes so you never go into his tests anxious, all you have to do is study.

i had him my first semster... not the best semester for me.. but he was good i liked him... took him again for psyc 2330.. best decision i ever made he is one of the best profs i had... got my first A in his class. he makes the material very interesting and his class is fun... he gives you really good notes and helps you as much as he can

Great friendly teacher. He knows a lot about current events regarding criminology which makes class very interesting. Basically tells you what to study for tests. His tests are a lot of work to prepare for though, but reasonable if you study. Very enjoyable class!

The class is easy if you are prepared to do the work and study for the tests.HE gives you the s/a and essay questions in advance before the test.It is up to you whether you want to take advantage of that or not.If you show up to class, you will have most of the questions answered b/c he goes over them in his notes. SHow up to class. DOn't be lazy!

He was an awesome teacher. Very reliable towards questions. He had 2 mid terms and 1 presentation which could be in pairs. He tells you all the mid term short answer questions before the exam. Most of them are 3 part answers so make sure to just memorize. Reading is also mandatory!

I love Ian Ross, ive taken 2 classes with him plus a directive studies class, and i received great marks in them. The classes can get a bit boring,and complicated but he appears to be quite passionate about what he teaches. He is approachable, and talks to you about any concerns or questions you may have. hands down my fave teacher at kwantlen!

Really great prof. you have 2 midterms which are straight forward and he pretty much gives you the answers to them prior to writing it. Also, you will need to do a presentation which doesn't take much time to do (took me a day) and you get to choose a partner or do it by yourself. Really interesting class. LOVED IT!

Very sweet professor. He is a very funny prof and makes the class interesting. He knows a lot about psychology and criminology. I ended up learning way more than I expected. Tests are super easy!

One Presentation... easy exams...Don't expect him to cancel any classes cause it never happens.
