He is very smart, and funny. He is very generous with extra credit and very flexible with due dates, however you better do homework and really try. It is a tough class, but he is a good teacher.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Teacher. Someone call 911 cause I'm on FIRE!!!
SUPER GREAT TEACHER!!!!
HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love him or die!!!!!
My Math teacher Hero!!! One of a kind!! great teacher! Even that you know you're gonna fail. Talk to him and he will help you out! GREAT TEACHER!
Easy teacher. Does not use book at all, resulting in regular confusion for students in class. Takes a while to adjust to teaching methods. Very helpful and intelligent.
This man is a genius, and is very people oriented! You will not walk out of this Man's class without learning something about Calculus; Unless your not there! Hooray!!! For Iason Rusodimos!
He's is a very nice guy and very easy. You know why he is so easy? because his lecture is UNCOMPREHENDABLE, that's why he gotta be easy TO MAKE UP FOR IT! He speaks too fast, teach too fast! and when you ask him question, he'll anwser in 1 sentence!
he has Math mania, eat drink speak math. he is easy and helpful, kind and sweet.Tooo fast. best key study and understand his notes, revie sheet, practice test. GO TO HIS OFFICE AND ASK HIM QUESTIONS from above things, he might give u hint for test question.
Calc and precal, great teacher, don't miss class you will get behind quick. No book, I love that method. examples examples examples, great teacher.
He is a god, his name should be written all over the math books:)
Too fast and not enough examples and no specific problems for repetion of concept. No book to refer back to for direction/clarification- just pages and pages of notes. He knows his math but needs improvement in teaching the subject.
Great teacher. Takes a while to get used to his teaching style, but is the best math teacher I've had here. Book & calculator not required. All you have to do is ask and he will help you.If you just sit there you wont do well. Can be lenient w/final grade
I would suggest you take him from the start if possible. After you understand the teaching style it is easier. Very funny, makes this pointless junk funny, if nothing else. He is a very good teacher, will help outside of class. Best math teacher at gpc.
Take any course with him. He is the best teacher for Math. I have taken him for Calc 2, 3 and Differential Equation and i find him best. I think those who want to get an easy A should take him.
he is very nice, he knows what he's talking about, and he knows how to teach, very kind and helpfull, one of the best teacher for all maths.
great math teacher, one of the best. funny and smart. very helpful. he clearefys all the materials. u gotta to be very lazy if u dont get at least a B, in his class. Take him for all maths, he is the greates.
he is one of the best teacher i ever had, the sweetest guy, smart, and very respectfull and nice, genoures with grading, he is realy good at his teaching, maked calculas2,3 very easy for me, getting A in his calss is not hard.
took him for calc I and II. very easy and clear. he makes you love math. very generous with grades. extremely smart and patient
He's cool alright, but too fast on lecture and very confusing. Skip like 10 steps in a question. If you're good at math, don't take him. You won't learn a THING. If you don't give a damn about learning and you just want an A then take him.
He is very helpful and nice and he makes sure that you get the material.
He is awesome, I took him for calc 2,3, and DE. He might be a bit hard to understand at first but if u go thru it again it should not be that confusing. Going to his office will help you alot.
Despite all the good review here, to me he's idiot, if your basic math is not strong then say bye bye. He's too smart to go over those dumb stuff. Skip like 3,000 steps when doing problems cuz "HE" knows and nevermind the student.
Awesome teacher, does skip steps sometimes but if you go to his office he will help.If you do and understand the homework you will succeed in his class
he is really really HOT!!! I mean he is a good instructor who knows his material, the guy doesn't even bring a textbook to class, he is that GOOD, can you handle!!! yeah I'm sure you can go ahead and sign up for the class a really good teacher, I give him two very BIG FAT thumbs up.
very good teacher
easy, very nice, not much work, he knows a lot and can teach. also he cares about his students. he trys very hard to let you have an A. and his tests are 99% similar than his review sheets. exact questions with different numbers.
the best math teachre in the whole perimeter college, very easy, fucnny, nice, very very helpfull and kind. simply he is the best.
Mr. Rusodimos was an insightful and exciting professor. He is always willing to help and tries to make you understand the material so that you can succeed in calculus. I would give him the highest rating possible, being in his class was a truly gratifying experience!
I love him. He is the best.
He is great!Makes the class very interesting. If you are not lazy you should do alright. He is the best math teacher in Perimeter college.
He is the best teacher there is! he couldn't be any easier. Just listen in class.. and if you got too much on your mind, then just copy the note from the board and you will still get the idea later. gives review, test Qs identical to those solved in class. I give him an A!
can u spell "good"? He sure is that. Best teacher ever. He is ever so patient and explains over and over. Just listen in class and if you are too preoccupied (we all are sometimes), then just copy the notes and u will still get the idea later. Gives review, test Qs similar to those solved in class.
He is a sweetheart and a good teacher. He likes for students to ask him questions during his office hours and sees that they are serious. Very helpful.
excellent teaching and easy.
great teacher!!!! It's not easy, but if you do the reviews before the test, and you go to his office for help, you will be fine
Overall best math professor you can get. Honestly, the ones who get A's are the ones who put in alot of practice time and homework time,(Oh yeah and all the foriegn exchange students who already mastered it before taking the class)A very broad area of Math covered for each test, some are difficult if you haven't practiced a certain type of Question
made this class seem extremely easy for the material in it. curves a bit, extra credit and exams are little tough, but easy if you know what's going on.
awesome teacher!!!! i took all my math class and i made really good grade. he is very helpful and smart. i'm sure anybody who register this class, you won't regret!!!!i promise
This is the WORST teacher in the world.I went thru 3 math classes 97,98,1111 with and A in each.I loved math until this guy.He is very unclear and gives notes as if you're in a HIST class.I can't stand this teacher. If you love math already his teaching style will make you hate it.the first test no one made higher than a 80 & that was the easiest.
GREAT TEACHER! You have to be sharp and math inclined, he expects you to be up to date with the pre-reqs. His teaching style is great. I will try to take him for calc 1-3. If you are trying to just skirt through math, you may want to reconsider his class. However, serious math students cannot go wrong with this teacher!!!
He looks like Robert DeNeiro to me. Good guy. Really confusing in class though. He likes to "prove" concepts rather than give you examples. If you are really good at trigonometry and memorizing..go for it. But if you looking for a solid understanding look for someone else.
I have mixed feelings about rusodimos. he tries to help you, and wants you to learn, but has a very odd teaching style. he gives proofs and definitions as opposed to examples and problems, but on the tests there are only problems-so your screwed. he's nice, but that only goes so far! if your looking to make a good grade, look for someone else!
Great Teacher. Not an easy class, but you come out of it really knowing the subject. He really knows his stuff, conveys it well, and makes sure that you will to... if you work at it! Don't expect to come in and put in minimal effort. I will be taking him for Calc 1-3
lectures often relate to physics and engineering. If not major in them, probably get confused a lot. Quizzes and projects are required, projects are hard~ Tests are based on lectures, give reviews and practice tests to aid for tests. I think he curved a little on the final as well~
The greatest teacher i have ever had. He will make you love calc. his tests are very hard but if you show that you're trying, do the projects and ask him questions, you will do great. He grades on a curve but doesn't tell you what it is.
Great teacher, fun, i like his making faces and his voice. A master in his material. Like him a lot.
He was teaching to himself. when he solve a problem he just skip alot of materials. being in his class didn't help me at all.
Awesome!!!Awesome!!!this guy is the best Math professor ever. He is passionate about his subject and helps students in any way possible. He will go over something 10 times to make u understand. Take him if u want to learn and want a big curve in the end.
He is really nice and helpful, but his lectures are confused and relate to physics application and engineering..His tests are hard, but at the end, I guess he gives some curves. It's hard, but you'll learn it and get a good grade if you work hard.
Awesome guy. The best professor for maths in GPC. He's extremely helplful. He will stop for any questions even if some asks sth like y is 2+2=4, he'll stop and explain nicely. Curves the grade in the end alot, just show him that you are trying hard and do the little HW he gives and some extra credit stuff.
Would recommend whole heartedly. He'll make you learn the material but he teaches it very well and is always ready to help.
He is a great teacher. All the math he teaches is velow him so he really knows it well, he is very understanding that no one in the class is a mathamatichian, although he expects you to know material from the previous classes, but will review if really neccesary. Great teacher
Great teacher, knowns what he is talking about and realizes that most of us don't have the same passion for math as he does. He has high expectations but provides plenty of help at any time, really cares about the students. If you fail his tests don't give up he curves and grades on effort.
Great mathematician and helpful.
is there 2 rusodimos' at gpc? how does he get these great ratings? good guy, but HORRIBLE teacher! goes too fast, skips too many steps, & assume you know way too much. favorite phrases are: "as you know" & "this is too easy". too easy for who? also teaches physics topics! it's a MATH class! if you're math challenged at all, then DO NOT take him!
This class made me want to jump off a bridge everytime I left it. If you struggle with math at all, DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is a very smart guy, but sometimes forgets that his students are not all math whizzes who know and remember everything they were ever taught. He flies through stuff really fast and skips lots of steps. You will work your ass off.
He is the best teacher at GPC what so ever....He will teach you what u really need later on at any engineering major. Easy B no matter what grade u get on partials and if u are going for an A u better put some effort but not hard at all. Very helpful during class and office hours...don't pay attention to those who say he is hard. BEST TEACHER EVER
He is purely an upper level math teacher. he's smart as hell and carries with him a mr. bean like ora. great accent. if u make a point to know him more personally (go to one or 2 office hours) then u'll pass easily. as long as he sees that ur trying he'll give u atleast a B. the more classes u take w/ him increases the chance u'll get an A
GREAT Great teacher! Tries his best 2 make sure u understand and is always willing to help! Very interested in math and seems to loves teaching. If you ever need help just ask. Test are not easy but he is a very fair grader! I highly recomend this teacher if you want to learn and don't mind doing some work. Don't take if u r looking for an easy A!!
He is a super nice genius!!!! Always there to help you, loves teaching. He seems to have special abilities like Rain Man :)) I would recommend anyone to take him!!! He's the best teacher!!!
Rusodimos is a great guy with an excellent attitude and personality. He's a genius when it comes to math and makes the tests really hard. He's very easy on the eyes tho ;)
I took this professor for Calc 2,3 and Diff EQ. He is an amazing mathematician and he will teach you things not normally covered in courses. He is definitely NOT EASY. Very challenging tests but if you go to class and work hard, you will get an A or B at the end. He is very enthusiastic about math and he has mannerisms that cracked me up. Take him
I took him for Calc 2 and 3 and for Diff. Eq. He is hard and covers a lot of extra material BUT you'll never be disappointed in your final grade if you show that you care. My grades were curved by at least two letter grades. He even changed my B in to an A when I talked to him. TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
This class is very hard, and getting a B or A here is easy if you take this professor because he curves your final grade if you show interest in learning. Allows laptops during tests (use to your advantage) the other professor does not allow calc, but he does, so better take this professor than the other that teaches calc II. Do all h.w. problems.
This professor is a great teacher and person. Although it was often hard to follow him in class, he was extremely helpful during his office hours. He seems to really care about his students. Take him if you can!
Really cares about the students. Goes fast but will slow down or postpone tests if students agree they are not ready. I thought he looks more like a cross between Mr. Bean and Ray Ramano. Great guy.
He is a easy teacher. Helps a lot, and curve grade which is nice.Don't pay attention to the people that say he goes too fast! He is a funny guy and cares about his students a lot.
Overall he is a great professor. He can solve integrals on the fly in his head, which kind of made me sick. You will have to study hard and attend every class, but you will be rewarded in the end. He doesn't use the book. If you are looking for a challenge and want to actually learn Calculus I would recommend him. If you are looking for an eas
This class is hard! His tests are hard. He does not care if you don?t do your homework and does not do go over them. You are on your own in this class. You have to be really disciplined and know how to study A LOT on your own if you want to make a B! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
good teacher, fair, helpful. It is not his fault that many students fail, calculus is hard.
very nice dude, tons of extra credit.show him that you care, you'll pass with an A!He goes by his lecture very very fast,I recommend you use"mymathlab" for the hw.Practice, that's the key to make an A. He does not give you many hw,so you'd better practice on your own.very nice during office hour. He'll move the tests if students are not ready.Nice guy!
I took all math classes GPC has to offer with Iason many years ago and loved the professionalism and care with which Iason teaches. I think that he is not only the best teacher at GPC, he is also a much better teacher Georgia Tech has to offer. I went and graduated from there in 1999. Remarkable teacher and a very good person.
HE'S SO SMART! Great teacher, funny guy. He is here for your benefit. Although, his projects are hard....
I only need a C from the class so I didnt buy a text or try very hard,or pay much attention but this guy can flatout teach. I have never had such a great teacher. He made Differential Equations seem like ABC's. I wish my teachers at AU were this good. If you get this guy, jump for joy! Thank you Rusodimos!
Fair teacher, tests can be difficult but teaches everything you need to know. Good teacher.
I just took Cal 3 and Ord. DE with him last summer. I am kinda impressed about him. He is the best and smartest math teacher i've ever experienced. one thing, he teaches kinda fast.Tips for you: study and PRACTICE from your notes, you will end up with an A.
excelent
I took him for several classes. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is very helpful and intelligent. I feel privileged to have had him as a teacher. He makes the class very interesting because he knows where the math is applied to in engineering and sciences.
No calculators or computers allowed at all for his calculus 2 or 3 classes however you can learn in his class. The projects are extremely hard. The tests are also hard. He is a helpful teacher, will take time to show examples and answer your questions in class.
Really good teach. Tests and projects are super hard, but good teacher
This professor is great! I took several classes with him. He makes math seem so easy. He is extremely smart and has a clear understanding of math, science, and engineering. Besides another one like him I encountered in the past, he is one of the very best out there.
He is a good teacher, but he doesn't make math easy to understand. I mean, he explains everything well, but if no one asks question then it will be confusing. HOWEVER, when a question is asked, he answer it in a nice and clever way and who knows may be he even give a test question and solve it based on your question. No body knows until test time!
Highly overrated. He doesn't work from notes. Very unorganized. Since he doesnt have a lesson plan he tends to ramble. The material isnt presented in a concise and logical manner, just as it comes in his head. His lectures are useless. His examples are MORE confusing than the text. He's popular because he curves, not because he's a good teacher.
This man is amazing! If you want an easy grade dont take him. But if youre an aspiring engineer and want to truly learn mathmatics, there is no other prof you should consider. I learned things in Calc II that many others wont learn until thier major classes in engn school. Im telling you, amazing! Be ready to work though!
He is a really good teacher. No calculators allowed. He teaches really fast i should say. I had never taken calc and it was really difficult for me. You can make an A if you practice and use your book a lot. He doesn't have a lesson planned. He just comes in the class and talk. He knows the material. Are you ready to be challenged? Think about it!
This guys a beast, hands down the smartest teacher ive ever had, i never took precal but this guy helped out alot, he really wants you to learn the maerial, yea he's not very structure oriented but he flows pretty good , and he curves pretty well, if you want a helpfull, smart teacher, hes youre guy.
Whoa nelly! This guy needs to take a chill pill. He is high strung and extremely intelligent. If you struggle with Calculus, consider another instructor, but he is really good at math. His tests are ridiculus, he is way to smart to teach math, he should be designing space shuttles or something. I still recommend him though.
Some have said he's not organized but I beg to differ. He's very organized but he doesn't follow the book. Sometimes it is hard to follow when he does massive amounts of calculations in his head but you're supposed to know that stuff before calc 3. Do the homework if you want the A but DO NOT MISS A SINGLE CLASS!!! He will drop the lowest test.
I had "Jason" as a professor, back in the "olden days"...1988 - 1991 (trig, calc 3, diff eq and linear algebra)! When I transferred to Ga Tech, I was more than ready. Yeah, his tests were tough and he taught on the fly, but I learned the material. Kind and approachable, Jason was one of the best instructors I ever had!
Best.Professor.Ever. Tough class, not so much the material, but the amount of material covered. Tests are from class...do review and ptest problems! Projects are hard. Easy to talk to, extremely helpful, answers emails fast, wants his students to do their best. Like I said, Best. Professor. Ever!
Professsor Rusodimos is amazing. Very helpful in and out of class, gives reviews and practice tests, drops your lowest test grade, and gives suggested (but not collected) homework problems from the text. If you can take his class, do it. Best college math professor I've ever had.
I highly recommend Professor Rusodimos. He's very helpful and gives practice tests and reviews for tests and the final. He gives full notes in class on the board- you never have to crack the book if you don't want to, but he gives suggested homework problems from the text which help with learning the course content.
He is a highly educated person. He knows in profound details the subject he teaches and is willing to guide, teach, and help students. He is without a doubt a precious master at GPC. I recommend him, but do not expect his tests to be easy! You must study hard in order to succeed, he wants his students to succeed.
Smartest guy at gpc..if you want to learn math rusodimos is the best choice. His tests are very hard but everything comes from notes and reviews. If you can survive his class you are ready for tech. This class will challenge you. If you are looking for an easy way out avoid this class because its not easy. He curves a little too. I got all A's
He is an eminent mathematician to the point that he doesn't need to be so proud. He is nice and has the talent to create a relaxed environment for his students to understand mathematics. The fact that he has a lot of interest in the subject matter ,will motivate you to learn.
Great teacher, tests can be hard but he looks at the effort you put in and improvements. Highly recommend this teacher. Don't listen to people who say don't take this teacher if you aren't good in maths, i was horrible in maths but took calc II and linear with him and made A's. He drops 1 test and curves individually. TAKE HIM.
I took him for calc 3 and Diff Eq, he is one of the most nicest teacher i have ever had, he is so kind and always happy to help...he made me to underestand everything when ever i needed him... his tests are hard but he will gives a practice test and a revies set which it makes it so easy and btw he goes over them and answer all of the questions.
Professor Rusodimos is an amazing math teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable. You may leave a lecture a little confused because he goes so fast but what he writes on the board is golden. I'm taking him for the 3rd time in the Spring. Definitely take this professor!
I took him for differential equations in the summer. He's pretty damn hard but he is willing to help you. I failed the first test, so after that I went to office hours at least twice a week. Gave me extra problems and helped so much! Expect to study alot. I actually got a B on the last test & final with no curve. He does curve at the end though :D
Diff EQ student. Very interesting character, I recommend him for that alone. Allows mostly self driven study, but always has office hours, and has reviews prior to tests. Fairly easy if you study and understand the notes. Likes to give some notes on more difficult material, it's interesting, but he won't test you on. Take him and get prep'd for GT.
Brilliant, eccentric, genuine. Professor Ruso is an interesting character with a heart of gold. Don't take this class if you're banking on a curve. I have seen Fs and Ds in the class. Take him if you're ready to put in some effort and learn calculus. I took him for Calc 2 and 3. I will miss him. Take him while he's still teaching. He's a rarity.
Took him for Linear Algebra. If you are looking for an easy A with minimal work, don't take him. He goes extremely fast in clas, and it can get kind of confusing. Second time taking him, dropped first time around.
Taking Linear Algebra on summer is crazy. Many materials need to be covered in a short time. I tried to stick with the HW on the syllabus, but it didn't help at all. He played a game with us on the final. He told us questions to study for the final, but he changed many problems. Most students said "damn, I didn't expect that kind of questions."
Super nice professor with fair grading practices. Terrible teacher. Doing homework doesn't help. Skips around in the book. Lectures are extremely fast. Teaches concepts with skills not intro'd until Cal 3 when Cal 2 is the co-requisite. There's a curve at the end and Lin Alg is the only class he allows a calculator in. Preserve your GPA. Run!
He's very passionate about the subject he's teaching, but not so good at class management. Someone will inevitably ask an irrelevant question and he will spend 30 minutes delving into it. We kept delaying our tests, so we ended up with 3 weeks to cover the last 8 weeks of material. Awful experience.
Took him for Calc II, III and DE. He is the best teacher ever. If you want to learn the topic and be well prepared he is the man. Knows the lecture on top of his head no power points or notes. His tests are exactly like his reviews. His notes are so good you dont need a book. Take him if you want to study sciences!
I would stay away! He know his stuff, but, cannot teach you want you need to know! Skip steps all the time. Does not go everything for test. He is a nice guy, until, he gets stress then takes it out on the students Go take Walls or find some other teacher! RUN AWAY VERY FAST!!!!!!
Very personable professor who is always willing to help. He loves his proofs and he wants you to know why you're doing something. Success in his class relies heavily on independent study, though. He doesn't seem very organized, but he is very passionate and helpful.
It's unbelievable that Ruso even has one negative comment but then again ppl are stupid. Not this prof! I took him for Cal II, III, and DE, and he's honestly one of the best teachers I ever had. If your ready to really learn and push yourself, take him! If not, maybe you shouldn't.
This professor is simply the best! Science is in him and can solve problems from any angle. If you want to learn, go with him, but if you simply want to pass, look for the easy ones!
He is one of the nicest teachers I have ever met. my advice students is to study HARDDD! this course shouldnt be easy, and u dont just "study" u gotta study every single day for atleast 2 hours if u wanna pass each test and understand everything. The good thing is that he curves a lot! out of all the Calc teachers at gpc, he's #1 ! no joke, TAKE HIM
Not to bad he curves and its a hard class but do the work. He will see your trying and base it off that. Just give it all you can eat sleep calc and youll pass!!
Took him for CALC II two years ago. Now that I am about to graduate I can say without a doubt this is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Take this class to see what inspired teaching is supposed to be. This man knows his stuff, so be prepared to study because he brings it every class period. AWESOME PROF!!!
Take this guy! If you show up, do the work, and try you should be fine. Most the class failed almost all the tests, but he curves at the end of the semester. I'm having to take DiffEQ over again, and taking it with him!
THE BEST OF THE BEST. HE IS THE PROFESSOR YOU WANT TO TAKE.. THE BEST IN PROBLEM SOLVING AND HELPIG STUDENT..PASSIONATED ABOUT CALSS AND LOVES IT WHEN STUDENTS WANT TO LEARN. TOOK HIM FOR CALC II AND LINEAR, GOING TO TAKE HIM FOR CALC III, CALC I OVER..GPC IS GRATEFUL TO HAVE HIM!!!!
He is easily the most brilliant professor at GPC. I feel extremely lucky to have taken him. Ridiculously in-depth knowledge of the material, and cares very deeply about each of his students. He does a massive curve at the end if you show him you are doing your best.
Easily the most passionately qualified of any professor/instructor I've had
The BEST professor I have ever had. A truly brilliant individual that anyone would be privileged to have. Trust me, you want to be in his class! Also his bubbly personality is a breath of fresh air in the midst of jaded teachers.
Excellent teacher I took Dif Eq at Penn State and didn't understand a thing going on in the class. 15 years later, took it again this summer and understood everything and it was so simple. Made an easy A. Just take the time to work through the reviews he offers and take the notes in class! Brilliant man!
Good professor easy "A"s. But not really good at teaching. Take him if you want an "A"!
it's as simple as this, if you still need help in solving an equation than don't take him. Ruso is in high level of math, knows how to explain, and will help you as much as he can. BEST PROFESSOR IN GPC, HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL ACTUALLY TEACH YOU MORE THAN WHAT YOU NEED WITHOUT USING A BOOK, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE OTHER PROFS THAT DO THAT.
Brilliant professor! All he needs in class are markers of different colors. Take notes in class. He is always willing to help and cares about the students. Super nice person. You don't need the textbook and his tests are very similar to his practice tests.
Professor Rusodimos is very informative on topics that are covered and very helpful. I was terrified of Calculus but he corrected my fear. Attend every class, take notes, and participate in the extra credit assignments and projects. He curves grades based on the students overall work ethics and he loves to see students put their best foot forward!
SO difficult! I know calc 2 is one of the hardest courses to take, but he made it more complicated. He's a brilliant prof, he just comes in with a marker and writes everything out. He goes way too fast and is very short with answers. He is very helpful in his office hours though. I guess he wasn't for me.
He is THE BEST math teacher at GPC. His tests are hard, but he teaches and gives you enough material to succeed. If you wanna learn from a true mathematician, take his classes.
Goes over the introductory material very slowly to make sure you understand it, a little too slowly. But then flies over the advanced stuff at the end that you've likely never seen. Our last class before the final is our 4th test; not a good way to learn. He is a good professor, but needs to invert this process. I'd still recommend him.
Could have used a few more examples relating material to the physical world. He did a very good job. Practice tests are an accurate portrayal of the tests, so you know what you're facing. Teaches the true meaning of concepts, no BS. My only complaint: I wish he would do his lectures on the computer and post them online; board work is hard to see.
I got him for calc 3 and linear algebra. He is more than a simple teacher. He is kind of fast sometimes because he is so smart and have a lot of experience, but he is very clear about what to expect in the test. He doesn't need any notes since he knows the course very well!! Just take him or Dr walls, particulary if you are a science major
Ruso is an incredible teacher... approachable, fair, knowledgeable. He genuinely cares for his students and has a great personality. I would recommend him if you really want to learn. I also think he should teach physics too, I learned more from him than from my physics class.
Incredible professor ever ; take him don't ask anybody .
The English language doesn't have enough words for me to express how extraordinary Ruso is. Not only he is a good teacher, but he is a remarkable human being. Make sure you write good notes and keep them because they will come in handy for other classes, his calc 3 notes saved me during physics 2.
Professor Ruso is an incredible human being. He is a genius, so it's hard to follow him at times. He is very interested in proofs, concepts, and applications. He would spend an entire lecture on proofs alone before getting to a single example. Take him if you plan understand more of the theoretical side. He's too kind to slackers though.
All i can say his classes are easy if and only if you take notes and do his tests reviews. Everything that he writes on the board will help you solve those reviews. Mr. Rusodimos is a genius in math and science, very talented in many areas including linguistics. Very charismatic, understanding, and always willing to help!
He is an amazing professor. I will take him again. We should study hard and watch too many videos, but it is from nature of the math.
He is my hero! He helps you to make up your GPA. Though tests but a good curve. Finally, you are happy and don't regret.
He is the best professor, without him I would not know math
Best professor in GPC. He gives out the tests for you to prepare before the actual test, so no point to get bad grades. Tons of extra credit.
HE IS MY HERO. He thought me calc 3, linear algebra and differential equations. I only wish he would teach physics. I learned more physics from him during math lectures than in my actual physics lectures. TAKE HIM. Take notes, and you will Learn.
Professor Rusodimos is just amazing, he makes me want to love math even when I find it frustrating and difficult. The way he teaches makes you want to listen and maybe go get a degree in mathematics. His tests are just like the review posted online, so go over that a few times before the test and you will do just fine in the class.
Great Professor! Easy A! Always do his practice test!
You will pass 'cause he gives out a practice test for each test. Hint: the practice tests are very (VERY) close to the tests. You may think that this is amazing, but YOU WOULD BE WRONG. You come out of this class learning nothing unless you spent time ON YOUR OWN reading the book. The final, similar problems fro the tests with increased difficulty.
Class is similar to his Calc 3 course: no required homework, no required reading, lectures that skip things from the book, and tests that are quite similar to the practice tests he hands out beforehand. This sounds great, but it isn't. This class (and for that matter, any of his classes) will not prepare you for Tech. Final is unexpectedly hard.
Rusodiomos is definitely Harvard material. He's very caring and he'll help you make up your GPA. The only reason people complain about not learning anything is because homework isn't forcefully shoved down their throats. Rusodimos provides all the supplements needed to understand the concepts, and they're optional. It is your job to study them.
Rusodimos is simply amazing. I don't know why people complain. He's a genius with a nice personality. He's accessible outside of class, so if you're stuck with any concept, then go to him for help. He also gives out optional homework which will help with understanding the material. If you want to learn from a true mathematician then Ruso is the man
Took him last semester. Amazing man. He is also very smart. His notes are very helpful too. They saved me during physics 2
Its funny how people are complaining about not learning anything. This is college. Rusodimos won't force you to do homework and read the textbook. You have to do it on your own. No ones gonna hold your hand and guide you. Rusodimos is actually the perfect professor. He understands that we have other classes so he doesn't assign too much work
His notes. HIS NOTES! ALWAYS WRITE HIS NOTES AND SAVE THEM FOR FUTURE USE! They WILL come in handy in the future. His lectures are exquisite. He's very in-depth and he'll be happy to help you understand hard concepts outside of class. He provides many resources to help with understanding but they are optional. You gotta force yourself to study
Amazing professor! He is a genius and his teaching is very nice. He is also extremely caring and he will help you make up your GPA. He is one of the few that can help us understand the material and give us a good grade
He is by far the coolest professor i ever had. I learned so much from him. He is also extremely generous. I had an 82 in the class but he bumped it up to an A. There arent many professors out there who are as generous as him. He saved my GPA and made me learn a lot. He truly is a gift from God himself. GSU is lucky to have him
Ruso is a gem of a professor. I've had him for most of my advanced math classes. He gives amazing lectures and provides excellent feedback. His exams are reasonable and he's extremely caring. He can easily help students understand difficult concepts. He also provides a massive curve in the end which is guaranteed to give you an A. He is a must have
Superb professor! I learned a lot from his lectures
attend class, pay attention, show interest and study practice test.
Wonderful professor and human being. So caring and respectful. Take all his notes and you don't even have to read the textbook. I took him for Linear Algebra and differential equations. Got A's on both. Also, he is a genius, knows so much about math and its application in different areas. Take him!!!
Rusodimos is a great professor for Cal 3 especially for science and engineering majors because thats where he focuses on. He expects a lot out of everyone and gives study guides to test that are extremely similiar, but the test is not exact. If you're planning on going to Ga Tech, its best you take Rusodimos, teaches Science and Engineering Cal 3
He is a wonderful professor. Follow his study guides, because they are very close to what will be on the exam. The notes he writes on the board are what you use to study from no book-work, and he is patient with students who need further clarification. He will also curve the grade at the end of the semester. Taking him for Diff Eq next semester!
My ideal professor is someone who makes the class hard enough that I will have enough motivation to study while not affecting my undergraduate GPA. Ruso is my ideal professor. He curved my C without any extra credit so dont worry about GPA and focus on learning the course material. He gets 4/5 rating as he does not explain all steps in class.
Ruso is a really charming and likable guy who is also a genius. He tends to focus more on proofs and rules rather than the actual math or its applications. Personally, I prefer a different style of math class to his. Study practice tests and you will definitely get an A but you may learn nothing in the process.
He is very generous in grading. He will curve the final grades so there is no worry about GPA. However, you need to put extra effort in studying and in practice tests if you want an A
He is amazing!! He is super nice and caring- math is not one of my strong suits, but he was so helpful in answering questions and giving EC opportunities. I definitely recommend him- he is super smart and cares about his students. I never cared for math, but I enjoyed going to his lectures. Take him if you want to learn a lot and get a good grade!
Rusodimos is an absolute treat; he is literally the best math professor I've had. He respects and cares for students, grades fairly, and his lectures are fantastic. I don't normally write ratemyprof reviews but I just had to here. He's also very happy to help you in office hours for your class, a topic in math, or even in physics! Just take him.
If you want a free grade, do not take him. He was a good professor for the in-class, but when it became an online class due to coronavirus, his class was very hard to keep up with. I have never got B from any of math classes including calc1 and 2, but it was definitely hard to study with him with online settings. Do not take it online.
he is one of the best teachers you can take for a good grade; and learning. Test would be very similar to the study guide he provides.
HE IS THE BESTTT!!! I love the professor, so caring and friendly. The tests are from his study guides and homeworks. Also, there are few projects but not hard. He even lets you correct your mistakes and gives back credit. Awesome professor!
Do the practice test solution and Tilted assignment as many time as you can. They are the key to A his class. If you don't understand something ask and he will explain. He is the best of the best.
I love how he cares for his students. He is such a wonderful person and teacher. I took him for two classes (linear algebra and differential equations) and I would take him again.
I took him in Summer 2020 ONLINE I got 105% in his class. 4 tests, drop 1 lowest, 1 final ( you have to do your homework from the book he assigned in order to be at the top of that), and if you do well on the tests, you will be ok in the final. Cal3 is not easy but he is nice. You have to study by yourself, with no video lectures no PPT ( in summer
He's a great guy! He genuinely cares. I took him as a blended class due to COVID. We had in-class lessons once a week. It was difficult but, but he was there to answer any questions. If you do your practice test and tilted assignments, you will do fine! I would definitely take him again!
Professor Rusodimos is one of the most gentle and calm people I have met. I really wish I could have gotten to know him more, but we only got to meet once a week in the blended model. He gives practice tests that are similar to the tests so this is very helpful!
PARTICIPATION IS THE KEY. He checks attendance every class. Be prepared to work a lot in this class. He is a very nice professor and knows what to do in every class. The course is graded by few things so make sure you have to get the most every time. It is only doable when you do the homework and practice test, making sure you fully understand it.
Great professor, do the HW, practice tests, and assignments and you will get an A. The tests can be a little tricky but if you even somewhat study, you can do well.
I have taken MATH2641 and 2652 with this professor. He is amazing. He is very detailed-oriented and makes sure that everything is covered. Some may find the class lecture heavy, but in fact it really helps you prepare for more advanced courses. One biggest thing is that his tests are similar to the practice tests so you'll be fine if you work hard.
Professor Rusodimos is simply an amazing, caring person. He wants you to learn and is very willing to meet outside of class or help you find additional resources. Studying practice tests a LOT is a must. Exams are tough but he is a generous grader. Calc is a difficult subject and you need to be prepared to do a lot of studying outside of class.
I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR! The class is a high-level math class, so I expected it to be hard. But the way he taught the methodology behind everything made me love the course. He interacts a lot with his students and really cares about how they do. There is a textbook that can be found online, but he barely ever uses it. TAKE HIM, HE'S THE BEST!
A great professor who wants to see improvements in students. Always responds to emails in a timely manner and is very considerate when grading. Would 100% recommend this class with this professor.
The best teacher ever. He is so lovely and very knowledgeable about everything. Attendance is mandatory because of notes; he writes on the board a textbook. I suggest getting one because, for each chapter, he gives you questions that are good to practice and will help you. And as always,s make sure to study.
His class is ok,I struggle with math his teaching was more difficult than other teachers. Dont let his rating fool you as it did me only take him if you're the A,B student type. I got an f because after 2bad test grades I stopped trying and couldn't understand the lessons anymore. It was my fault but there are easier teachers inmyopinion Good luck.
I will say that this professor teaches fast and in a style that feels like he's talking to someone who already knows the material. Recording his lectures! I did horrible on the tests but he kept motivating me to keep trying and finish the class. He also offers extra credit!
I did bad on all of his tests but he genuinely helped me understand when i went to him after class. His extra credit is worth a lot and simple assignments that he's lenient with.
Professor Rusodimos is a great professor. He genuinely cares about your success in his class and is always open to help. Make sure to visit his office hours to ask for help when needed. I would take him if I were you!!!
He was a sweet, wonderful teacher. It was my first time ever working on calc and I will admit that I'm not the best at math. Whenever he explained problems I felt as though they were as clear as day. The tests were pretty hard, though he curved the final grade and offers a lot of extra credit.
Shocked by the ratings again. Yes, he is a nice person but it does not change the fact that he does not even explain the queston. All he do is write the steps on the board wait for you to understand by yourself. The practice test is very similar to the test but believe me, its still too hard. I recommend finding another professor. good luck
Iason Rusodimos
I am sorry for my previous comment... he is genuinly caring and a wonderful professor. There was a little curve on the final grade. Take him, you won't regret!
He is a nice professor, I like the way he cares about his students to pass and understand if you go to his office during hours of course.
I took him for Calc 1 and was a pretty easy grader as long as you showed effort and put in a decent amount of work. He does go pretty fast though so pay attention. Lots of examples and practice. Taking him for Calc 2 right now
Professor Rusodimos is easily the best math teacher I have ever had. One of the only professors that has let me submit assignments on a looser deadline and he also really cares about his students' learning and participation. He offers many ways to get extra credit. As long as you go to class and follow his lectures you will do great!
Amazing professor!! Took him for Calc 1 and 2 and got an A in both. You HAVE to put in effort because the classes itself are hard but he works with you. The exams are identical to the practice ones he gives out so just do those. Overall would definitely take him again!
Professor Rusodimos is a caring instructor who wants students to succeed. The class is challenging but manageable with diligent practice and utilizing resources like the textbook and Unstuck study. Stay engaged, and you'll learn a lot.
Very good Proffesor, took him over the summer, Differential equations is not a hard class but material was taught at a very fast pace, a bit inconvenient but manageable, good Proffesor and goes the extra mile in concepts.
The professor has such a strong accent that even trying to sit in front of the class still doesnt help me understand what hes saying. He skips alot of steps which leaves students confused.Everbody in the class literally has failing grades, the only reason someone has a good grade in his class is bc he rounds up the grades like crazy.pls dont take him
His accent was so heavy that even sitting in front of the class still didn't help me understand what he was saying half of the time. And literally everybody in class is failing him, but the only reason people get A's and B's in his class is bc he rounds everybodys grades up like crazy. Pls save yourself from taking this professor!! DO NOT TAKE HIM.
Currently taking the class, and its generally easy so far. He's also an awesome guy who just wants everyone to learn and pass his class. Has tons of extra credit opportunities as well. If you're an incoming freshman or just looking for a generally easy class as long as you put in a normal amount of effort, he's definitely the best.
Awesome professor! He lets you correct all your homework if you mess up, and is accessible outside of office hours, and his tests are easy to study for! My only warning is to try to learn the concepts out of class before going it, because his lectures are mostly examples. Overall awesome professor though
Prof. Rusodimos is actually a great guy. His accent makes the class harder, and you do have to study a lot outside the class. He's a really understanding and compassionate teacher. He's also so lenient with the deadlines. Even though I got a C (raw) in the class, with the help of all the extra credit, I passed the class with an A.
