There is a quiz every week or every other week, no midterm and one big final.

Professor H is very helpful. On many occasions he replied back to emails within the same day. i have never passed math before but with him I recieved an A. You can ask as many questions as you want and he wont get frustrated. He has a very tiny accent but it's really nothing, just pay attention!!! And you will pass. Test are easy!

Algebra is my worst subject but he teaches it so well that passing is a breeze and acing the course is totally doable even if you hate math. 3 tests, 3 quizzes, and a final. This was my third attempt taking college algebra and the professor made this subject so easy! He goes over what will be on the tests, take home quizzes and gives extra credit. AMAZING TEACHER AND HE'S FREAKING BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT. He's really caring and often does random extra credit activities in class. He has a clear grading scale. LOTS OF HOMEWORK (Graded on completion). The best part is he doesn't use those stupid MyMathLab things, everything is from the text book.

Professor Haitami is quite the gem. I had the chance to take 1033C with him over the summer. Math has always been my least favorite subject but he made me actually enjoy learning math, without a doubt. Finishing off my fall semester, I took him for MAT1105, which has to be one of the best decisions I have made. Take him for all classes if you can!!

Professor Elhaitami is very clear in explaining the subject, and teaches with passion, he never hesitates to repeat any problem if not clear enough to students. I had the pleasure of taking two classes with him. I highly recommend him, he's one of the best. Things to do: Show up, take notes and be prepared, and an A will be your grade.

Prof. El Haitami is very detailed, and he won't surprise you on the tests. He gives you study guides before every test and he goes over the answers in class. The tests are very similar to the study guides. If you complete the homework and show up for class you will pass. Attendance is mandatory.

He is AWESOME! One of the best best math teachers I have ever had. I took AP Calc in HS years ago, so this course was generally a refresher for me, but he made the subject very easy to understand. Do the homework, come to class and you will absolutely pass. The quizzes were take home and there is a practice exam that was just like the test!

He breaks down the material in lectures so well that people that struggle in math could understand the math concepts. As long as you pay attention in class you should be fine. If, however, you still struggle, just ask specifically what you don't understand during or after class as he is caring and has a passion to teach students.

Great professor, took for MAC1140 on campus. Good sense of humor, 3 tests and final. Homework is all due the week before final exams. Quizzes before each test. Not bad at all, very good at explaining content and helps students when needed. Some group work which helps, does not make you write on board unless you want to. Easy class, no phones tho.

Took for College Trigonometry. Homework is optional out of the textbook. He reviews the homework problems and does many examples to drill the concept into you. Some of the stuff he teaches you is not on the test though. Graphing calculator only on the first test and final exam. Regular calculator on other tests. Take home quiz and Tests counts.

A lot of these previous reviews seem to be for his in person class. As for online, he's alright. If you need someone who's there to answer questions I'm sure he can help. However, a lot of the class was through my math lab, teaching wise and homework wise. He makes his own exams on canvas, which have better questions than the homework. He's fine.

Every week with two lessons and a quiz or test using Mylab Math software. The homework (25-35 questions per lesson) is relevant to videos provided by the software. The quizzes and tests uses the lockdown browser and is simpler than the homework. The quiz is 6-10 questions and the tests are 10-20 questions. Test is 50% of the grade.

Easiest math class of my life. Only teaches you the important stuff from textbook and tests/homework are all done in MyLab. This class actually made me enjoy doing math again. Gave chances to fix grades by reopening homework and tests had practice quizzes for prep. If all math classes were this interesting and easy I'd be a stem major.

Took him online and everything is on MyMathLab except his canvas quizzes (weekly), tests (3) and final so he doesn't actually teach anything online so it's self-guided. His workload is manageable but you basically will have to teach yourself with the examples on mymathlab to pass. Taking him irl probably would've been more helpful.

TAKE THIS ONLINE, Prof. Haitami is a great professor and did a good job for this difficult course. Homework is due every Monday as well as quizzes/exam each week. Classwork is done through MyMathLab. Exams are done in canvas honor lock. He does not have any exceptions for late work for any reason. He makes video lessons available too before exams!

Don't think about taking anyone else for Mac1105. He goes over everything in class thoroughly. If you need even more examples, ask him or there are more under your homework in the study plan. He provides pre tests too, so there's no reason for you to be stumped on anything. He made math breeze by all semester and was the best class I took.

Great professor. I learned a lot in his class. You do your part and you should be able to pass the class. He makes you work but you learn a lot.

Don't miss his lectures because you will fall behind a whole unit! The workload is heavy as there is lots of homework and a quiz every week. No study guides for tests tho :/

he's a wonderful professor, so don't be afraid to ask/have him repeat what he said. i'm very poor at math but i managed to understand some of the topics, so i'm sure you can too. he goes a bit fast in his lectures & homework can be 2-3 assignments a week. the 3 tests & final exam make up 70% of your grade, so practice or be really good at guessing

Professor Haitami is great. His class helped me a lot in my math pathway. I understood many things that before where confusing. He is patient and friendly. I felt really comfortable asking question. There was a lot of homework but it was helpful for the tests.

Professor Haitami gives you a lot of resources to succeed, the only issue you may have is his accent whilst watching lectures. Outside of this, all the materials he provides you is amazing. There are no quizzes, but large tests so prepare to memorize. Very kind professor and made calculus way less intimidating than it seems.

I would say if you take him online you are self teaching. However he is willing to work with students. Make sure you know all your resources in the class as I was unaware of the calculator the first couple of test. 9 quizzes, 3 test and the final are 85 percent of your grade so take those seriously.

I took this professor last semester and let me tell you that he is the best math professor I had. You can't not understand his lecture. He values participation a lot and he wants us to work together. He gives good feedbacks. Just do your assignments before due dates and you will pass.

Unfortunately, you have to purchase the textbook (about $90) to do the homework. The homework is worth a lot of points, but it's very easy. The unit circle and some formulas are provided on tests, and calculators are allowed. His class is very easy to pass as long as you show up and do the homework. Take him for an easy A :)

Great professor. I took him for calculus 2. He is very knowledgeable in what he is teaching. The class is a hard class,(calc 2 …DUH) be he managed to make it understandable and applicable. I liked him and I am taking calculus 3 with him.

Professor El Haitami is one of the best math professors I have ever taken. He knows calculus like the back of his hand and is great at explaining and helping you understand anything you might have trouble with. He actively tries to get the class to participate in the lectures which makes it a lot more engaging. Overall great guy as well.

Only Professor of Calc2 that actually takes his time to teach every step without saying or assuming that we students should know that. What it make him the best was that on many of this moments where he refreshed our memories with basic stuff from previous courses, he always showed us a better and easier way to do it.
