Dr. Guardiola is the sweetest, most understanding professor. This was her first year teaching. All quizzes and exams are from the book which she told us before hand. She was tougher in the lab portion than in lecture but I think that's just because she could spot our rookie mistakes a mile away and she's been in the lab forever! Highly recommend!

The professor's teaching style is easy to work with and the exams and quizzes aren't difficult. There is no homework and most of the quiz questions are common sense. Overall good at explaining the topics and makes an impression, making information easy to remember.

The professor goes pretty quickly in lectures so it is difficult to keep up in class. The quizzes are easy if study the questions in the textbook and the exams are easy if the past quizzes are studied. In the laboratory, she is strict because of the bacteria used and corrects us on the correct laboratory methods.

I took this class as a minimester and I feel like it was a little difficult if you dont know how to manage your time correctly. You'll start new chapters almost every day and take at least 3 quizzes every week, and a lecture exam every friday. I strongly advice you get the online book for only $10/month for minimester. Be on time, dont miss class.

She gives a quiz after every lecture, but as long as you pay attention to what she says to remember you will pass. The quizzes are given back and they are really helpful to use to study for the lecture exams. The lab reports are easy to complete and call for minimal sections. Extra credit is available all semester long and it is easy to complete.

Easy Class, Just remember to study or at least overlook slides as her content is covered for the whole class from start to finish and a quiz will be given at the end and crosswords for extra credit opportunity's all throughout the semester, very caring and funny.

She's a good teacher if you follow along in the lectures. There are quizzes at the end of each lecture about what the class went over that day, but they aren't difficult. This class is an easy A as long as you do the quizzes and go over the powerpoints she provides. I took her class in the fall and she did give us the option of buying the book but it wasn't necessary as she posts PowerPoint about the chapter. The labs are very hands on but she is very understanding and will help with any question one may have.

In every chapter there is a crossword to do that is also an extra point. It may not seem much but, at the end of the semester, those small points add up and you can use them for your lecture exams.

LECTURE QUIZZES are everything!!!! 25% of your grade! They're online and the exam is 35%. Overall, the exams are just recycled quiz questions and the class is pretty easy. Professor is nice and is happy to speak fluent Spanish in case you need that. Attendance is mandatory but is 1% of your grade.

She is amazing. If you are taking this class in person, attendance matters since she goes over a lot of information during lecture. Exams are similar to the quizzes, and lab tests are online. Take her if you want to learn more about microbiology.

She's a great teacher, & she knows her field of teaching. Be ready to do a lot of homework, but you'll learn Microbiology.

Just as long as you study and Submit your assignments on time you should be able to pass with an A. Lecture exams are not hard as long as you review previous PowerPoints and previous Lecture Quizzes.

Great professor, a lot of extra credit, there are weekly lab quizzes, a weekly lecture question assignment and lecture quiz. Lecture exams are worth a majority of the grade.

Dr G is probably one of the best professors in the biology department. There is extra credit opportunities so do not get discouraged. She does give lecture and lab quizzes every week as well as homework. Her class isn't hard as long as you manage your time properly for all of her assignments. Easy A

Class is very straightforward. You wont have a difficult time as long as you read the material. The professor does a great job at advising what will be on the exams too. One of the more chill classes i had this semester. There is even lots of extra credit opportunities.

I like that she took the time to learn everyone's names on day one. Weekly lab and lecture quizzes. Quizzes and exams are on proctored. Lab is fun but make sure your reports include all pertinent results. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Would definitely take courses with this instructor again!
