I took his class last semester. He is an amazing professor. I learned so much. He is one of the most intelligent, caring, and funny professors I have ever had. I highly recommend his class. I will definitely take another class with him SOON!

I took my first Psychology course from Dr. Gallego in 2003 and because of him I decided to persue a degree in Psychology. At first I thought he was a little arrogant but over the course of the semester found him to be funny and very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS CLASS :)

He is a great prof. I had him for intro to psychology and for abnormal psychology. Once he knows that you are serious, he will do whatever he can to help you. One of the few prof's that I still keep in touch with.

Absolutely an interesting class. Dr. Gallego supplied us with materials and directions to keep us on our toes to study well for his class. Very funny and keeps the class interesting. There is no excuse to fail, if you pay attention to his lectures which is not hard to do and read and review the handouts you should be ok. Very interesting class.

I can truly say that Ilija cemented my interest in Psychology. He made the subject come alive for me and made me want more. I have taken two of his courses and the assignments provoked, for me, a new way of thinking and of being in the world. He gave me questions I had not thought to ask and put me on the road to a future. I have been blessed.

He was the best instructor to someone who had been out of school for wel over 40 years.He worked hard to give you the best of his love of what he taught, and for a 61yrs old Vet, that's saying something. Now i have that passion, pay him morebecause what he gave me is priceless.

I loved going to class everyday. He is so funny and you can tell he really loves what he teaches. He was a great teacher and pretty easy. If you show up to class and somewhat listen then you should do fine on tests. He goes over what you need out of the chapter so I often did not read and still did well. HE IS A GREAT TEACHER!

He is a really cool teacher. He is really easy all you have to do is read his notes and you will get an A on the test. He is very interesting to listen to and that class was my world. I took it Summer I 2010 and I got the highest average in his class which was a 97.

Excellent, interesting lectures. Very personable.

You can obviously tell that he loves what he teaches. Make sure you write notes over his lectures because that's mainly what's covered in his tests. Oh and on the blackboard quizzes, so i'd print those out if I was you. Brought a little too much of his personal life to my class, but I would still recommend him.

Great teacher. Lots of extra credit. His tests are hard but he gave us the outline for the final to study and I did well on it. No nonsense though, but funny. I would highly recommend him.

Very nice teacher, easy to talk to. Brought a little too much personal info into the class and tended to be late or cancel class often, but did have us ready for the tests and final. Easy good grade!!

If you read the chapters once you will get an A.. and he tells you what is exactly going to be on the test.. he makes the class fun with his sarcastic humor thumbs up for him! :)

I got an easy A. I went over the notes and thats all I needed to pass the tests. We do homework on the computer but its easy and we do some online activities which are quite interesting. He is very funny and tells about his life experiences which crack me up. He does have nasaly voice and is late sometimes but its okay, because you get an A.

Great Professor he will tell you funny stories and make the class go by fast. Let us out after an hour most days and he cancelled class which was great cuz that made the tests take home tests.

Enjoyed the topic very much and he made it interesting and engaging. Homework helps the grading with some brief journals and assignments. I took it in the summer and had an exam every week but they were all multiple choice and right out of the notes and textbook. Went out of his way to help me.

Very good teacher. clear in what he wants in assignments and class doesn't really require that much effort. If you want a easy class and a good grade take his class.

Def. recommend this teacher! He is funny and straightforward. Makes the subject really interesting and the tests weren't very hard. He does show up late and cancel class more than most but if that doesn't bother you then you'll really enjoy him!

Study the power point and textbook. Lecture isn't helpful. Tests are difficult, but not the final. His personal problems at home are affecting his teaching, not his fault though.

I love his sense of humor, i think his class is very easy to pass because he basically gives you all the info in the chapter reviews he has online and all quizzes and testes are online which is the best. I really enjoy his class one of my least stressful class. He only cancel classes for us to take all chapter assignments.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! His Intro Psychology class is very easy. You will learn and pass the class with flying colors. The Intro class is web-enhanced. It's IMPOSSIBLE to fail his class. Any other Psychology professor you're considering, Just forget them. You will not be disappointed.

If you're wondering if you should take a class with this professor- don't waste your time with searching! He's AMAZING!He has a passion for what he teaches and the class is web enhanced. Assignments are given in advance. What he teaches you actually remember and use in everyday life! Definitely one of those teachers you never forget!

He is amazing, very knowledgeable, very approachable, his lectures are fun. DO read book, you have 2 chances to take your online quiz, all quiz are open book, open notes, final is 100 question, he prepares you very well for the final. pretty much everything on the final review is on the test. Common sense comprehensive questions. Loved it! TAKE HIM

While a textbook is required, his notes that he posts are more important and easier to get through the material. Take notes off the PPs as well bc those are just as helpful. He drops the lowest grade on each category which if you're doing good, means you can miss testing on a unit. Final is super easy bc everything on his reviews are on the final.

Probably the funniest and best professor I've ever had. He's incredibly nice and has a way of teaching where you just get stuff because he'll explain it over and over if he has too. PLUS he's super nice!

Great Teacher and Funny. You'll need your book occasionally but mostly will need his lecture notes printed out. He's very helpful. I had an A average but scored low on the Final so my final grade was a B+.I Highly recommend this teacher.

He is a good teacher and approachable if you have questions. His quizzes and tests are not exactly easy and there is a lot of reading to do, but if you show up and do the assigned work you should pass.

Dr. Gallego is a wonderful professor. He's funny, gives great examples, really knows his PSYC, and his class is fun as well as easy. His tests are online, except the final, he's got lots of simple assignments, and if you listen to his lectures and do the provided reviews, you'll get an easy A. I would take him again, and definitely recommend him!

Professor Gallego is the most accommodating, attentive to students needs, and provides so many easy to locate resources for us in order that there is only one possibility of failure, that being you don't want to.

Took Gallego for multiple classes, this professor is fantastic. Really knows his stuff, is very helpful, funny, no-bs. You get the grade you earn. The material isn't difficult if you work, and he knows that. Unsympathetic if you blow off the class and beg for a passing grade come the end of the semester.

This online class had a lot of work but it wasn't too hard. Just make sure you get all your work turned in.

Dr. G is honestly one of the coolest people on the planet. He is very blunt, and does not take bs. He aims to make the class as easy and comfortable as possible for each student. Everything is online (except the final) , so I easily got 100's on the tests. It's honestly amusing just to hear him talk about his life too. Would definitely take again!

Dr. G's lectures are truly interesting, inspiring & enlightening. All quizzes & tests are online & open note. Plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Only complaint was wasting money on a "required" textbook-bought mine brand new & never cracked it open. Difficult to resell due to edition being HCC-specific. Overall, would highly recommend.

Best Professor I have ever had. He made me really love psychology and it's what I want to major in now. Is there for you in class but also out of class. I had a lot of problems the semester and he really helped me out. I wish I could take this class over again I enjoyed it so much thank you Professor Gallego

I already recommended this teacher a lot of my friends. It is not an easy breezy course but it is a course that stimulates your mind and dr.G makes you WANT to learn and put effort into this course. I loved every second of it. The class room environment was different in the sense that it was a no judgment zone. Teachers like this are hard to find.

Fascinating class, especially if you are interested in psychology. The work's all online, and tests are fine if you just listen in class and glance through the online stuff. The lectures don't seem vital to pass but I wouldn't miss them. They were all cool to listen to. A textbook might help if you like those, but I didn't need one at all.

All notes are online for you to go back and study, He's very funny and resonable you will defiantly learn so much with out being bored

Dr G made Tuesday mornings worth waking up for. The class was both fun and informative and I loved how he made the class feel like a safe environment where ideas could be exchanged without judgement. If you want to learn Psychology from a human being, take Dr Gallego

Dr. Gallego was such an awesome professor. I don't know why some people are saying that he was really hard. He gives you all of the materials you need to make an easy A. I wish I had this guy for every class.

There is a lot of reading and his notes are never ending. Multiple choice quizzes and tests. Drops 2 lowest grades.

Loved this class. Lots of reading and homework, but you won't be bored. Keep up with the assignments and you'll pass. Assigns a Diversity Project in the middle of the semester.

I took this class online, but Professor Gallego really cares about his students and our grades. He provides so many opportunities to earn a good grade. There is a lot of reading from the textbook, but it really helps! It's an interesting course and he makes the assignments really creative and fun, especially during the summer courses!

Dr. Gallego is an AMAZING professor!!! Everything is online including the final. He encourages you to use your notes and learning objectives for each test. Very funny guy who gives amazing lectures and who also wants you to pass his class! He is very understanding and meets 101 with you if he sees you struggling. RECOMMEND TALKING THIS CLASS!

Dr. G is awesome! I am currently taking his online course (SS Fall '16). As long as you read the material he assigns, complete the discussions, take the test (he lets you use his test reviews, notes and textbook during the test), you will make an easy A. He makes it easy to learn the material. Do what's required and you won't fail... guaranteed!

Dr. G is an amazing teacher and has always an open door policy. He will go to any lengths to help his students understand what he is teaching. Dr Ilija Gallego is an excellent teacher. I love to attend in his class every time. He is very friendly and helpful. His class is always interesting and fun. You should take his class because he teaches and supports his students from a sweetheart. One thing I really love from him is that he answered email immediately.

Dr. G is a very good Professor. Replies to emails, provides feedback, provides quick help on course matters when requested. Moreover, psychology is a subject which requires one to read the text book and understand the chapters. Dr. G is always there to provide help, when trying to understand the chapters.

Mr.G is an amazing teacher and he works with all his students. if you fail his class than its your fault. You are lazy and grades are not given but earned. So if you want to make an A, B,C ,D,and F than you do that.

Dr D is the best! His lectures are interesting & he encourages students to ask questions. Doesn't get tired of repeating the same thing till you understand, available to when you need him and responds to his emails. Read his PP and the Chapters mentions and get an easy A. Will still take him next semester and recommend him to anyone taking Psyc.

He is a good professor honestly. Fairly easy, just pay attention and you would do just fine. Took him online, quick at replying. 4-5 discussions, 5 tests, and more than 6 quizzes.

Dr. G was one of the best and funniest teachers I have had ever. Great person and very inspirational. Easy but very interesting class, just show up and do all the assignments. He cares for everybody and if you need someone to talk to he has his office there for you. If youre sensitive about the F bomb then this class might not be for you.

Take him online because his class is mostly online as it is. You will need to purchase the textbook for a homework code. There are lots of opportunities to raise your grade. You can work ahead if you want and all work is manageable. No essays. Tests and quizzes aren't too difficult.

Took the online class. It was easy enough. The site is a little jumbled with alot of articles & powerpoints that are meant to help you. He drops alot of the lowest grades for quizzes & written assignments. He wants you to fill out a study guide to use on the final but I didnt have enough time to do that due to large course load.. still made an A.

Dr. G is such a cool guy. His lectures were always interesting and always funny. The tests and quizzes are online and open book. I would strongly suggest taking him for Psychology.

Teacher is very straightforward and class is very easy if you just follow his Power Points and do the test reviews. The tests basically follow the reviews point by point. I used the book occasionally but it is not necessary in my opinion. If you put in a little effort, this class is an easy A.

This class should've been an easy A, but I didn't but my full effort into it. He gives you a lot of information (power points and test reviews). All tests and quizzes are open book and note. Which sounds easy but if you have not went over all the information provided you will have a hard time finishing tests in the time given. This was 5 week class

The online class was very organized and gives great test reviews for both the unit exams and the final. If you do the work and study the review, you'll do fine. I slacked off a few chapters so I definitely could have done better. Overall great class. Replies to emails quickly. Really interesting class!

This was seriously one of my favorite professors. He was funny, caring, easy to comprehend what he was putting out. He checks in on every student individually half way through the course to see how we are doing and if we have questions. Quizzes are okay. Test are alright. Just study and dont miss class you will be fine!

He is amazing! 100% would recommend. But if you want a good grade, you have to work for it! He replies to emails really fast and is willing to accomedate to your situations. Make sure to stay on top of your assignments! Dont slack off!

Dr. G made me love psychology. life perspectives are presented in a relatable yet hilarious way which makes his class easy to understand. He has passion for what he does and mails us everyday to follow up with us. It was indeed an interesting class, however be prepared to work.

Definitely one of my favorite professors,funny, and sometimes interactive in teaching. His teaching style is straightforward and easy to understand. Lots of quizzes,but if you listen and read the book, they are no problem. If I had to take another psych class, I'd definitely try and choose Dr. Gallegos again.

This professor is amazing and has the best stories!! I took his class in person, but all the assignments (including quizzes, tests, and final) were all online! All his exams and quizzes are online. His exams are super easy. All you have to do to pass his exams is to make sure you study his slides, bring the material, and take notes in class. The exams are timed and you cant go back to previous question. You can retake quizzes. He only give one essay project. Have to pass the final exam to pass the class

Professor Gallego was great! I had some health issues going on when I started the class and he understood. Not just anyone would sympathize but he did. A women advisor didnt sympathize with my situation and actually told me I cant pass three five week summer classes. I did it, thanks to the kindness of Professor Gallego. He is the best!

Dr. G is attentive and always willing to answer questions. I appreciate that he has most, if not all, the materials available online through Canvas. Hes lecture and test heavy, so if you dislike that, I dont recommend. I think his lectures are intriguing. This is the easiest A so long as you pay attention and do your assignments.

Dr. G is an awesome professor. He makes his lectures not boring and he is a very caring person. Just keep up with assignments and you will be good.

10/10 professor. Good luck finding someone better. He teaches in many different ways and uses lots of examples until everyone understands. Notices when youre down and asks about your life. When you leave this class you will be happier than when you walked into it and youll have learned some pretty cool information often without even realizing it.

I thought that this professor was a very good, well-spoken leader. He really connected with us and gave insight to his life and experiences. Not only was he humerous, but he taught very well with his lectures, and made sure everyone could be accounted for, that everyone mattered. He was the best! I wish I could have him again!

Easiest class you'll take @ HCC. All of his lectures/quizzes/tests/final are on Canvas. Answers to quizzes/tests straight from pp/notes on Canvas or quizlet. He takes attendance at start and end of class, so at least show up and make sure to get marked. Just be conscious of due dates and you'll do good. Use this class to do work for other classes.

The only reason for my C is because I missed a whole chapter so I received a zero on the quizzes and test, it was entirely my fault. Dr. Gallego sets you up for success do not take it for granted- come to class listen to his lecture, participate and you will be able to retain and pass the class.

I loved this class! I took it for second start. You read the material and notes you take the quizzes and test and youre done. You do have to write an essay and its fun and easy start ahead of time though. The professor responds to emails really quick and fixes the problem within minutes. I would take him again and i recommend you do as well.

One of the greatest professors I've ever had honestly. He has a great personality, not strict on attendance, very understanding, the homework and quizzes are super easy, and he always tries his best not to bore you to death when teaching a lesson. He always tries to make it as entertaining as possible. I would give him a 10/10.

Dr. Gallego is nothing short of amazing. He is engaging and clear in his lectures. He makes sure his class understands the concepts before moving on. Homework is simple, just open book quizzes and one paper. He makes his expectations clear, but is willing to work with you if you need more time for legitamite reasons.

Dr. Ilija Gallego is one of the best professors I had at HCC. It was an online class but he made sure that we covered everything, and understood each chapter. Dr. Ilija's discussions were easy and were really helpful. Textbook for this class is required to get an A. Dr. Ilija also gives extra credits, replies to emails ASAP.

If you're debating on which Psych class to take STOP RIGHT HERE. Professor Gallego is THE best. Easiest B+ I've been able to get, I know I could've had an A but I didn't apply myself! (My fault) A lot of reading but he's very organized & clear. Be prepared to watch videos/power points. I enjoyed this class and he does give extra credit.

During the pandemic he made sure he reached out to all his students and tried to help in any way he could. Don't have to buy the book all the notes are online, not a hard grader and give lots of time to finish up assignments and quiz. Easy A class.

This professor was extremely kind and understanding to me and whenever I had an issue he answered in a prompt manner. The class is interesting and the information is easy to absorb.

Dr. Gallego was extremely responsive and engaging. He provided our online class with all the resources to excel in his quizzes and exams, which prepared us for the departmental final exam. He was helpful in addressing any misunderstandings of the material. His lectures are fantastic; easy to understand; easy to follow; and he keeps you engaged.

I took PSYC 2301 as a mini class in the summer and i don't regret it. He made the class simple by covering anything and everything on the syllabus. Also provides videos covering the lectures, you can read the units and follow along while watching his videos. Final is timed so be aware of your timing. Overall good professor.

Professor Gallego is the absolute best! I never rated professor but from a college student to another I am here to help! Take him you will not regret it! this class was super easy. He was kind to what I had going on outside of class and extended deadlines. We watched movies and had powerpoint slides lecture. This class wasn't hard at alll.

I absolutely LOVED this class. I learned so much. He is such an amazing teacher. All you have to do is do the work correctly and study the resources he gives you, and you're fine. I would definitely take this class again.

Dr. Gallego was amazing. I was very impressed by his class. He recorded his lectures so his online classes could watch them - it helps so much. The actual material can be complicated, but with all of the info he gives you, it's hard to not understand in the end. Everything is open book. YOU DON'T NEED THE TEXTBOOK. Great at responding to emails.

An amazing professor! Textbooks isnt really necessary as he Provides very detailed lectures & PowerPoints. This course is very intense but he provides you w/ all the necessary resources to succeed. Consist of weekly quizzes, 1 writing assignment, exams, & a final.

Online. Do NOT skip watching his pre-recorded lectures. They have the key answers to all quizzes and exams. He is super clear on course material and doesn't leave room for confusion. I personally didnt need the textbook. There is only one written assignment. Exams are multiple choice. He drops two quizzes and one exam; lowest grade. Easy A.

This was the most well-organized class I've had in my time at HCC, and for him to take the time to record his in-person lectures so that the online students had the same opportunity to learn was an outstanding idea and greatly appreciated. Prof is easy to work with and get in touch with. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gallego!

This class was a lot of work but very well organized. I took this on an online anytime schedule so I never met him but his passion for teaching was obvious. He really wants you to succeed! I currently have an A but not w/out effort so definitely not a blow off class. He's a real gem. Take him!

Dr. Gallego (call me Dr. G.) has been the most involved professor I have had at HCC. He is passionate about psychology and making sure students understand the material. He responds to emails quickly, sometimes immediately! He is also the faculty advisor for the psychology club, which is worth joining.

Dr. G has very organized lessons- so well thought out, with multiple types of media and great test reviews. It all really helped me to learn the objectives. He has recorded lectures as well as optional live lectures. His care for and enjoyment of the education of his students is obvious. I really enjoyed Dr. G as a person - He is warm and funny )

He is amazing so respectful, caring, and funny he helps you a lot and makes everything easy he says exactly what he wants from you I highly recommend him I wish he teaches other courses. His written assignment he kinda hard tho but everything else is amazing I have received 8 extra points by doing almost nothing.

This class was 100% online and I liked the fact that he recorded his lectures and gave us all the info that we needed. If you are interested in psychology you will surely enjoy his lectures they are rather long but he explains everything that will come in the test. If you do all the work and study for tests you will be fine. He cares & understands.

I took mini course and got an A grade. Great professor, always tells us he is here to help. He replied email very soon, easy A class, even for nonnative speakers.

Exams are easy if you read his PowerPoint. He lets you use notes on his exams and there is one paper due a bit early in the semester but easy as long as you follow his guidelines. Super chill professor classwork assignments are easy you get 2 attempts to take them.

Best professor I have ever had. He lets you use notes on everything (exams and quizzes) except the final exam (super reasonable). He even has the final exam split in two, so if you get a bad grade the first time he gives you another try to make up for it. Great guy, great teaching (never boring), and best of all; he actually replies to emails!!!

Took online class and it was pretty easy going class. just focus on the due dates , complete all the quizzes and you will definitely get "A" in it.

I got a C because I failed to do the written assignment paper, the exams + quizzes were not too hard though but don't think you can wing it and rely on quizlet. Even encouraged students to leave a review on here.

Great professors as review states. I took this summer online and all the test were material covered in the power points. I did poorly on a paper and he allowed me to resubmit it. Easy A as long as you do the assignments and go over power points

Provides recorded lectures, powerpoints, and interactive activities to learn the material the way you prefer. All the answers to each quiz are there, and exams/finals are consistent with past quizzes. Very responsive to emails. So long as you make an effort, he will make sure you pass. Kind professor and passionate about his work.

I am not the same individual that I once was in the beginning of fall semester. Professor Gallejo completely changed my way of thinking. He is educated and will extra credit you to death.!!! Take him, he is strict about his class discussions and he tests does not require lock down browser including the final.

Hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. If you want a prof that can joke around & also be serious about class, he's the one. If you do your part, you'll pass for sure. I learned & had fun while doing so, if that doesn't say enough idk what does!

Amazing professor. Enjoyed his classes so much, I signed up for his club. He is very caring and wants to see you succeed. I loved his recorded lectures as well. He gives you materials and study guides that are so helpful, just fill them in and you are good to go. Take your time to learn from his lectures, it will help you in other psyc classes.

Professor Gallego is one of the best professors at HCC. He's funny, caring, and truly loves what he teaches. His lectures are AMAZING and he gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit. The work is incredibly easy yet still fun. If you were trying to decide which professor to take for Intro to Psych, look no further! I recommend his class 100%.

Professor Ilija Gallego is kind and helped me a lot in this semester.

I took his class for Spring 22 (online) we had around five unit test (drops lowest score) along with a practice final and finals. Had a lot of room for extra credit and had an essay assignment. He gave enough and more materials for preparing for each exam and the classes were interesting. He is always ready to help you out.

he made class super easy and interesting. my favorite part is that he gave us really good study guides and also made assignments very clear.

Took a 5 week summer course. Super cool teacher, but wants everyone to really understand and dive into the course. Online textbook, and is pretty personable.

I absolutely love taking Dr. G's classes! So sad he doesn't teach all the classes (I've taken 2). The readings & assignments were fun & easy to understand. His class is organized well & there's plenty of time to complete all work in each module. Exams not proctored, and he grades & responds quickly. Take his classes, you won't be disappointed.

Class is watching recorded lectures and youtube videos. The quizzes/exams are straightforward as long as you do the reviews. His reviews and the final exam review allow you to skim through the textbook while also getting A's. Do the final review during the unit so you aren't swamped in the end, and you will easily get an A. Very caring professor!

Dr. G was probably the best professor I had ever. considering this was also a summer class, the lectures, presentations, and videos were all easy to understand. open-book quizzes and tests. written assignment is self-explanatory and an easy a if you follow the rubric. take him if u can.

Professor Gallego is among my favorite teachers, he explains things very well, is respectful and caring of his students I would strongly recommend that you take his class for psychology.

Doctor Gallego was great for the psych2301 class I took over the summer. He was very vocal about assignment due dates and is very responsive to email. The term paper was relevant and thought provoking. definitely take this prof if he is available.

I took PSYC1301 as an online anytime course. I did not speak to Professor Gallego much but he seemed like a very nice person. Their online course is structured in a way that makes it easy for students to do all the work that is required. One major downside is the textbook. There are over 1300 pages and they are all boring as hell. 9/10 experience.

Dr. Gallego was a great professor! His lectures were very informative and his exams were very representative of the material. His class is an easy A if you complete all the assignments and follow all the directions! 100% would recommend taking him!

I took this class as a "Social and Behavior Science" credit requirement and don't regret it one bit! I really liked the class in general and I also really appreciated taking this professor because he was very clear and graded work the day after it was due so I was always able to check my grade in a timely manner.

Excellent easy going prof. However there is tons of homework but if you go with the schedule its manageable. Easy A+

While the homework may be light, the course material is extensive, as expected, the course covers a wide range of topics. Despite the complexity Prof. G provides supplementary resources to further delve into the core of the contents. His style is encouraging and supportive for students to reach their full potential. Truly enjoyed the course!

He's lowkey the best, discussions aren't required there's a lot of extra credit so there's no way you can fail and the most important assignment is the written assignment which is just 18 questions and he also pushes the deadline.

I just finished taking PYSC 2301 with Dr. Gallego and he's a really easy professor and easy A. You have 5 tests, practice final, final, a couple of quizzes, and one written assignment answering around 20 questions. All answers are found on Quizlet. He gets a little woke about biological sex, especially on tests, but take him, easiest class ever.

Easy A. Just make sure to follow directions when it comes to the written assignment, and take good notes before every quiz/exam. His lectures are actually fun to watch, and are full of resources like YouTube videos, journal articles and psychology websites.

Definitely take this class. Every test was open book. A couple of discussions but only 100 word minimum. And the discussions were based on personal interpretation. Easy and quick grader!

Great professor! The online class is not too difficult, its just a lot of reading/ watching videos. The professor is very understanding and gives extensions when needed.

Dr. Gallego is a good professor. He had everything laid out for us in the syllabus and also throughout the assignments in our modules. Our discussions required depth, but he explained exactly what was needed and provided a rubric. Also his response time for a strictly online class was top tier! Stay on top of due dates. Lowest exam grade dropped.

Please do yourself a favor and take his class! You won't regret it. He is the type of teacher who truly cares, understands, and is clearly passionate about what he teaches. You will love his classes and never dread going to his class. Assignments are easy, he is big on attendance and very good at explaining. You. will. learn. and have fun. TRUST.

He is a good professor, gives good feedback, but grades harshly. His lectures are either very informative, or he just puts on YouTube videos for the entire class period, but regardless I think taking notes on his lectures and slides are very helpful because the exams have a lot of questions that are found on his slideshows.

Took this course over the summer in 5 weeks. It included quizzes, exams, and one 500 word discussion post with two 100 word replies. There's no lockdown browser or webcam for any assignments. Save your work & have proof of completion, there was a course crash and ungraded assignments were lost. Overall, a great professor and I definitely recommend!

Dr. Gallego was an amazing professor to take online. His grading criteria was pretty clear there were 5 units and each unit had around 3-4 quizzes based on what you learned, they were all pretty short. You could use your notes and we didn't have cameras or a lockdown browser. On each unit test the syllabus was included, pretty annoying but its fine

Dr. G is an amazing professor. His constant email reminders are lifesavers for me. He truly loves what he does, and it shows in how well he teaches. He allows notes on his quizzes and exams, which is incredibly helpful. I love his class so much! He wants every student to do well and succeed, and that's what I admire most about him.
