She is a very interesting teacher. As you can tell from the name is german and very proud of it. she talks about this all the time. she is some what ****. I would call her Tom Lykis' sister!!! Her 101 class is somewhat easy, just as long as you do the work and go to class you will get an A in the class. SHE LOVES HER GERMAN CHOCOLATE

Oma rules! This is an easy A as long as you show up to class and listen. There are NO TESTS whatsoever in class, all you have to do is take notes to type up a mid-term at home and a final at home. End of story. The professor is engagaing and fun and you can talk to her just like a regular person.

Oma is a great teacher. She's very clear about what she expects and makes the class fun. There are no tests / quizes. Majority of the Mid-Term is done in class and the Final is all typed up. Definately recommend her to anyone.

Oma! She is very interesting! She has lots of useful comments. I even diganoised one of my friends with PPD using the info from class. You only need to turn in two assignments and you work on them while in class, But thats not the best part. The thing I like about Oma most is, that she will bring in (if you ask her) genuine German cookies! Thanks

Ilka is the best teacher ever! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! She can be a little difficult follow sometimes but she is very helpful. All you have to do is ask. She is very sweet and funny and brings field knowledge and experience into the classroom. The only assignments is her midterm and final which you work on all semester, but don't procrastinate on them!

I took Developmental Psychology with Prof. Schroeder and the class was very enjoyable. I learned a lot from this woman and will never forget her, or the class. If you don't take her you will be missing out. There isn't a ton of homework, but that doesn't mean you don't learn, because I learned a ton from being in her class. Very fun.

Easiest A you will ever get. As long as you are in class, you will get an A. She doesn't believe in tests, and the midterm and final are done in class and as homework. Each chapter has about 10 questions to answer, half in class and half at home. Thats IT!!! She loves to be called Oma (Grandma in German) and is AWESOME!!!!!! Take this class!

This class is an easy A. NO EXAMS. All homework is due two weeks before end of semester. However, this class is kind of boring and she has a hearing problem so you usually have to repeat yourself a couple times.

Different style of teaching.Good mix of discussion/movies. Go to class and participate. Writing assignments are straight forward but more time-consuming than initially appear so don't get too far behind or you will regret it. Easy A if you show up and turn in work on time. Write small summaries to questions using book. No major exams.

This class was awesome so to whoever rated Oma as boring and hard of hearing needs to check their facts. She is the best professor you will ever encounter because she truly cares about her students.As long as you do your work at the end of the semester you will pass but if you don't you will piss her off. She is a great person to be around.

She's a very nice teacher speaks her mind openly...No tests which was a good thing! There is alot of note taking you do most (all) of your work at home. Will go through all of the chapters (13)...does not let the class out early. Shouldn't miss one day of class unless you can trust someone else's notes.

The best teacher you will ever have, she is fun, but also her style of teaching you really learn alot and its great your final is a party great food.

There are no test or exams, and you do the homework at you own speed, its all do towards the end of the semester. The information is so interesting even if you don't like PSY you will want to take another class.

OMA was a great teacher, one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. Attendance is 1/3 of the grade, there are no tests. As long as you show up to class and take it seriously you should have no problem earning yourself an A. It is truly as easy as you make it. Don't Stress it and have fun.

I really liked the way she did the midterm and the final because it wasn't like a formal exam which for me is a good thing because i get nervous when I take tests.

Ilka is amazing. Every class of hers is truly unique because its mostly class driven discussions. She offers text books to those who can't afford one, only has 1 semester long "project", I did mine with 3 weeks to spare and got full points. And, the final is a big pot luck where you can bring friends in. highly recommend.

At first I was upset that I had to take this class to get my credits. The professor made the class very enjoyable. It wasn't the typical boring classes you find in college. She kept the class very active and engaging in conversation, along with cool projects. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class to EVERYONE!!!

Ilka is a wonderful professor and very relaxed. She enjoys teaching and it shows through her lectures. She is always open to student inputs when it comes to the lecture material. There maybe a lot of reading and writing but if everything is done on a timely matter it is manageable. For PSY 132 she has the text for the class that are available.

There were no tests and the final and midterm were a compilation of homework throughout the semester. So easy! She is such a wonderful lady and teacher and keeps the class interesting. She also brings chocolate and cookies sometimes! I love this woman! Best decision I made was to take this class. Just remember to finish the hw just at she says.

Best Professor especially if going into a competitive program!!! No actual tests. Tests are the midterm and final which is just a combination of all your homework and notes. Its a relax class.

I had her class once a week in the fall, her class was very simple! We had no tests and the only work we received is all out of the book. She groups her assignments so you have plenty of time to do it (it is super easy just a little time consuming). You can miss class, just email her.

I learned so much from this class. This was my second attempt in Psychology 101. I aced the course, and walked away with valuable information. Oma's lectures were from the book and she then relates her personal experience. I found that viewing both, gave me a better understanding. We took many notes and this also helped all the information process.

I have taken OMA's class this fall, it was the best thing ever, OMA is very knowledgeable, caring, and respectful professor. I honestly have learned a lot from her class. there are NO quizzes, NO midterms, NO finals. she gives you the whole semester to do your homework (at home). this class is easy A, I'm definitely taking her again.

The class is really easy, you only have a midterm and a final (which are essentially just a paper), and there is no homework, or quizzes. She is a funny professor, laid back, and wants a relaxing atmosphere for her students. This class is not like a traditional college class, this class relies mainly on discussions, and attendance. Show up to class and put in the work, it's not that hard. Oma makes class fun and enjoyable. She is all over the place sometimes but she's nice and fosters good discussion. Going to class is really important but it's only once a week and you're graded on in-class notes in addition to the final and midterm, which are really take-home essays.

OMA is the best! If you want really to learn and gain a lot of knowledge, don't hesitate to take her class, I have taken all her classes!!! All the work is done at home ( including mid term and final ), you have aplenty of time to finish the homework, I highly recommend ALL Her classes! Love her to pieces :)

Took 2 classes with Oma! She's hilarious and sweet! Her classes are an easy A if you put the work in. DO NOT WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE FOR MIDTERM AND FINAL. Assignments for this class are a bit unorthodox, you typically have 2 papers and that's it, no homework. Sounds easy right? Don't wait till the week it's due and you're solid!

Shes clear and straightforward with all the requirements and expectations. I am so glad that I chose this class though it was last minute to suit my family needs. Please folks take this class, no regrets��

Oma is the absolute BEST!!! She is HILARIOUS! Such a sweetheart! There is one medium sized project to complete the whole semester. Attendance and participation are important to her, but a little goes a long way as far as communication. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!! She loans them to you!

She truly cares about her students. In the first week, she gives you one big assignment that is due the week before class ends. It's not terrible but definitely don't procrastinate it. She loves to treat her students by bringing in chocolate. She even let us order pizza in the middle of class one day.

Super easy class, just show up. Do the homework when it's assigned instead of all at once (you turn it all in at the end). Seriously this is the easiest class ever. The professor is sometimes hard to understand but she is hilarious.

I love this lady! She really cares about her students. Very straightforward, put in the work, and you'll get an A. No surprises. Everything is outlined in the syllabus. LOTS of homework, not a ton of homework, no tests. I LOVE OMA!!!
