Psh very nice person but she there is error in a lot of her information that she is teaching.

Good prof - decent tests, decent labs, but gives too much info in class (not relevant). Good sense of humor, overall great person.

If you know anything about health it's the easiest class you'll ever take. People say her test questions are worded in a diffcult manner, I say their gramatically incorrect... you be the judge.

tough tests

Ilsa is a great teacher and seems very knowledgeable. She is well organized. Her lectures are interesting. Her exams are a little bit tricky but if you study well enough, you'll do good. You'll want to memorize her notes word for word as she is very particular when it comes to answers on exams.

A fun professor, classes are fun, take tennis if you are looking for a fun physical acitivty, motives you to work at skills.

Knes 1000 is super easy, but 'Growth, Development & Aging' is a lot of work (but very interesting).

shes a good prof, if you read your notes you'll do good on the tests. the webct portion of tests are a bit tricky but written response is pretty straight forward.

lectures are good. make sure you show up. Exam questions are directly out of notes. momorize them all adn you will ace the course

Very good prof, no complaints. Fair exams, awesome notes. Study the notes and read the textbook chapters - you'll have no problems with the exams. I don't believe any WebCT portion took me longer than 15 minutes to complete.

Really great prof. Enjoyable class, make sure you attend them and take down the ppt notes. She seems to really love her notes and makes her exam questions from them. As long as you go to class and study from the notes (use the text as a supplement) you'll do fine.

I've taken 1000 and 3300 with Ilsa and they have been a blast. It is important to take good notes and always attend class. With that you'll have an easy time studying for her exams, which are not actually that difficult if you go to class. I strongly recommend taking all the classes she teaches.

Awesome prof! She knows her stuff WELL. Her tests are 99% based on her notes and things she says in lecture. Lecture is always interesting! I would definitley take another class with her again!

I have had ilsa for both 1000&3300!Remember to go to class and take good NOTES.She doesn't post notes on WebCT but she is an awesome prof. 1 of the best. For her exams remember specifics. 1 word answers and you will do fine. They are all practical.NO definitions. Enjoy her class one for the best prof in the UNI!!

Ilsa Wong was a terrific teacher who was always prepared for every lecture, and knew 100% of what she was talking about. Absolute recommendation for Kinesiology students. Lectures were not dry, and easy to listen to. Notes were absolutely vital, almost all of the tests were based strictly on the notes, fair marker and excellent teacher.

Great Prof...real funny to talk to after class time...take down notes because she wont give them too you....THE LABS ARE WORTH 40% and are real easy this should also give you another good reason to get a good grade...A++++

Ilsa is a great prof. Really easy to understand, good sense of humor, always availible for extra help. All of the classes were very interesting. Make sure to attend class as her notes are not posted. Tests are fair game- a little difficult to understand some of the questions asked. Overall great class.

I loved her Kines 1000 class.Very interesting and easy. If she makes a big deal about it on her notes then she will probably put it on her tests. Good class all together.

Ilsa is an awesome prof but to do well in her classes you absolutely must write down more than what is just on the powerpoints. She really emphasizes certain points that you know will be on the tests. She is a great intro prof and likes to have fun and joke around in class.

Great prof, maybe the best in the KIN department. Class is great, you play games half the time. Grade is well distributed between projects and exams. A must for Kin majors

Decent prof, its important to make sure you go to lecture as she doesn't post the powerpoints online. Material is straight forward and tests are fair - their pretty much based directly on the notes in class.

I loved ilsa! She's a great proff and I highly recommend taking a class with her if you have a chance!

first note that this is not a pre req to any other class...so take it only if you need too. the lectures are not that interesting. exams are ALL short answer and harder than they need to be. overall...BORING!!!

I enjoyed going to this class and thought that it was quite easy. Her tests are short answer and all the questions are straight from the slides. I found them to be quite easy as long as you study a little. Her classes are mandatory and she doesn't send out her slides however.

Ilsa is a great professor. She is very knowledgeable and if she does not know an answer to one of the classes questions she will get the answer and bring it next class. She is very approachable. You do have to attend the class and labs as she does not email the notes out. If you review you notes and do the labs you will get a good mark.

The class is easy if you do the labs, go to class, and listen to the lecture. If you skip a class make sure you have someone writing notes for you otherwise you miss something that could be on one of the exams. The exams aren't hard if you go to class and write out the notes and study them. If you don't understand something just talk to Ilsa.

Every test I took with her I walked out feeling as if I aced it.... and thought I improved on every test I did; however I did worse and worse on each one. I thoroughly knew all the material she went through but test marks did not reflect and wasn't sure where and why she was taking so many marks off the tests. Doesn't respond to emails of the time.

Have about a 78 avg. Go to the lectures and take notes, its all you need to do to pass. I havnt studied for a single one of her exams, and the lowest ive got on one of them is a 70. This is with only using my textbook once a week to as a lab resource.

This class is an extremely easy A, I barely put any effort into it and came out with an A+. Ilsa makes everything very memorable, and gives funny examples that help you remember. She is extremely easy to approach and will spend time helping you when you need it. You do need at attend class, or at least make sure you get a copy of the notes.

Class is mandatory as the exams and assignments are straight from the notes/slides in class. If you take notes during class and study it is an easy course

Ilsa is kind of monotone but a 50 minute class with her is doable. She is funny, adding humor into the lectures. There are pop quizzes so attendance is important. There are no surprises on her exams but be prepared to study all of the material, so you don't miss anything. She isn't super warm and fuzzy when meeting for help with assignments.

Ilsa is an excellent professor, she's a fair marker and tester. Exams contain material on lecture note slides and topics she elaborates upon in class. High expectations, but is fair. Always willing to help out after class. Lecture slides aren't posted, so come to class!

Ilsa was a great prof! Her lectures were awesome, and very interesting. She is a really sweet lady and will answer any questions you have, if you go to her office. She doesn't answer emails. Her tests are easy, just make sure you study! I loved the class, would definitely take again.

So nice and chill

Ilsa is an amazing prof. However, this class is incredibly frustrating due to the lab assignments being marked by the 6 TA's. All of them mark differently (one marks something wrong that another one marks right), it seems like the students just cannot win. Also, only write what they are asking for (I had marks taken off for "too much detail").

Ilsa is a great prof as she is hilarious and easily accessible. She does require the use of an ICLICKER, making attendance mandatory for participation marks. The labs are easy, but I was VERY annoyed with the inconsistent marking by the 6 TA's. The textbook was only used to deepen understanding, but her tests were pretty easy if you go to class.

Ilsa is a wonderful professor! She clearly loves what she teaches. Her powerpoints contained all the material you need to do really well on her midterms. She doesn't post her notes unfortunately, so if you miss a class, just hope you have a friend in the class to get the notes from. Tests are simple and straightforward. Loved the class!!

My favourite prof so far. Her lectures are hilarious and she truly cares about her students. Most of the test questions are based on lecture so you should show up if you want to pass. Did not post to Moodle but was patient for students to take notes. Such an amazing lady!

It doesn't get much easier than KNES 1000. She doesn't post any notes online, but if you show up and write down notes you will get an A. Questions on the exams all have to do with the lecture notes, but you need the textbook for the lab reports. She cares about her students passing so don't be afraid to ask for help if you're struggling.

Really good prof. Sometimes pretty quiet when she teaches. Doesnt have much control of her class. When people are talking she doesnt stop it.

Kinesiology is my major, so the course information was interesting to me, however, it is also relevant to anyone who wants to follow a healthy and active lifestyle. Her lectures are interesting and the tests have clear expectations. All information written in lectures are on the tests, don't worry about the textbook, I only used it for labs.

Probably one of the best profs I'll ever have. Her tests are all related to what you learn from lectures and she doesn't post her lecture notes either so if you don' show up you won't pass. Other than that she's an amazing lecturer, and she really seems to care about her students and does the best so they can all succeed if they put the effort in.

Ilsa does a great job explaining her PowerPoint at a nice followable pace, really diving into concepts in depth which is very nice! Sometimes I find she goes a little too slow as sometimes we'd learn the content for labs a week or two later from when it was due. Her answers to student questions are exceptional. Overall, she is a very good prof! :)

Ilsa is an extremely good professor and her lectures were amazing. The exams were all short answer but easy enough if you took good notes and attended lecture. The lectures themselves were a little slow for me personally but the content was covered really well. The textbook questions for homework provided such an amazing grade booster.

Ilsa is amazing! Lectures were awesome and interactive. The exams were sometimes difficult but all just multiple choice with plenty of time to complete. She doesn't post her slides so showing up is important. Over all I love this lady and would totally take another class from her. Ilsa's a girl boss.

I love Ilsa. The class was very easy, it felt like I was retaking Biology 30! All though I only talked to Ilsa once or twice, she was great and the TA's and the Lab teachers were amazing. I highly suggest this class:)
