Hard class, very cribbable
the man is a genius, expects a lot of his students, cribbable
Very intelligent teacher. Difficult to understand at times. Very cribable.

Funny; knowledgeable; challenges you tough
He's probably the most intelligent prof at the school... Get a crib
No Comments
has no respect for the human race
People People. Get a crib and you should ace the course.
hard, but cribable tests. incredibly intelligent,
Great to understand and knows his stuff, but grades homework
Nice guy but hard. Must work to pass.

Make sure to have the basics down before you take him. Doesn't review.
He is good if you can learn all the material on your own. He's smart as hell!
No longer cribable for this course. Very hard to follow in class.
People people, get some cribs, answer easy ?'s in class, dont ask dumb ones
No Comments
you'd think people would learn not to ask questions in class....
Nice guy, extremely intelligent, makes you work

Not much respect for students in a tough subject.
Funny. ****. Very Smart.

Really smart...Really hard but i dont think there is anyone better
Know your likes lots of Trig and Inverse Trig integrals
Tough at first, but once you get used to him he's fair.
Siberian Paul Bunion
kudish is awesome and he answers all your questions. If you are scared of him you are a ****. Study the cribs and you'll do fine, he will even give you one if you ask him. P.S. don't eat the sturgeon!!!
People, please. Kudish hasn't changed his test in 10 years! Questions, people...
Easy for Calc 3. Cribs are dead on.
he changed his tests from his cribs so watch out
he's highly intelligent and flaunts it. but his personal skills are much to be desired, he constantly puts down students and plays favorates a lot
Not a bad guy, if you can follow what he says. His accent takes a week or two to get used to.
Difficult! Watch out! But his hilarious arrogance and humor makes up for it.
Do the homework. He'll know your trying and even though you probably won't get an 90, you'll pass. Not recommended however.
sorta hard to understand... but cribs are dead on... doesnt cut a lot of slack on grading cuz he expects u to get the cribs.. will help u if u need it but be prepared
Not a bad guy, hard to understand, smart but can't teach worth a lick, Russian Santa Claus
Russian Santa!! Doesn't teach only writes formulas on the board, but if you ask questions do not be discouraged by him he will help no matter what. Also will let you sit in on an earlier class if you ask. VERY CIRBBABLE.
Get the cribs, they may be slightly different but same style ?'s. Talk to him after class on test day and he'll almost give you the answers. Argue your test grade if you think you're right he gives points back.
He takes pleasure in feeling smarter than his students, so he fails as many as possible. My recommendation is to avoid at all costs.
This guy is a joke. He is russian and if youve ever had one before you dont want one again. Very hard to understand and all he does is write formulas on the board. Very cribable, but the exam will get you. I did great on all the tests and failed the exam.
Thinks the Russia was the greatest place on earth (why did he leave then?) Thinks the students are pretty stupid but at least he acts entertained by you while you're in class. Throws a curveball for the final...
The Russian Bear. The funniest prof I've had at Kettering. If you don't know the answer just say "7," his favorite number. Very thorough. Puts up formulas and then does all odd problems from homework. Would recommend (if you get cribs)
AWESOME...He is absolutely hilarious. I never really went to class but when i did he was the funniest man ever. Cribs(even Final) are dead nuts.
Get the cribs...Get 99%, Study the cribs they are dead nuts. the funniest Prof ever you will laugh everyday.
Get the cribs, they are dead nuts.... thats all you need to know.
What the he!! did he just say????
DiffEq, the university times tables. Kudish does examples absurdly fast and will consume 2 boards on a problem in about 2 minutes. Very cribbable. Do homework and you'll pass.
Terrible teacher, but funny as hell. Will stop writing, turn around, say the most random thing, then turn around and finish the problem. You have to be there to fully appreciate it.
Well he likes to do everything the hard way. Do the homework and you might understand it. Oh, and heh, don't ask questions in class. Funny when others do
If you ask a question, he'll be a dick, but he will answer it after demeaning you. Get cribs as the test will be in a similar format, but don't blow off the homework. Stay on top of the HW and you'll be fine.
very funny. I loved going to class. he makes fun of people who sleep in class. Very cribbable, but he's a hard grader. I recommend taking his class though, you'll learn a lot just b/c he'll keep you awake w/ random comments about Russia and Vodka
This prof is extermely cribbable. make sure you get the cribs or you WILL NOT pass. the homework doesnt really look like the tests. Half my class dropped after 1st test (average was a 48). If you ask questions he'll answer them, only after making fun of you and those who are sleeping.
teaching hard to follow, but very forgiving on tests and quizes, alot of partial credit, very helpful during tests and quizes
3 tests and 3 quizes. nothing until the 6th week and highest grade was a 40. I didnt know about cribs but I guess it make the class much easier. I failed and took Elsner. WOW what a difference
Kudish is horrible to understand, but all you need to pass is have some cribs. Back in the day he was the most crib-able teacher. If you follow the crib you can't fail.
Great instructor and knows his subject very well. If you miss class, you can get screwed cause he will cover more efficient ways to do problems in class than the book. Cribable. Very funny (what is he looking at out the window?). Can be difficult to understand cause of his accent, but he writes clearly on the board. Ask percise questions.
Good Teacher and knows the subject. Not open to explaining topics. Goes over homework problems for examples and does not describe the methods.
Hard to understand but he writes EVERYTHING on the board. The home work isn't like his test, but the way he teaches is. Get a crib and you will know what to expect. The Final is a KILLER!!! If he tells you that you don't need to memorize the equations for the first part, he is lieing!! I went in with a 93 and came out with a 83.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Oh, and we was NOT cribbable in Calc 3 this term. He genuinely seems to hate his students and calls us stupid or other insults constantly. His tests/quizes never reflect the homework or lectures, and the majority of the class fails. With winners like him, Kettering will continue to decline.
Great at belittling people and making them feel stupid, bad at teaching basic concepts. If you ask him for help he'll go out of his way to pretend that he has no idea what you're talking about. Cribbable, but often throws unfairly hard algebra/derivatives/integrals on tests that no one knows.
This professor was the wrost I've ever gotten in my whole college career. Not helpful at all, and embarrases you making you feel like an adiot if you ask questions or for him to clarify things. NEVER TAKE THIS PROF. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Diff eq by itself is a class that demands a lot of memorizing, pairing Kudish with it makes it hell. If you want to pass this class, you need to be a natural at math and you must get cribs. Tests are almost identical to cribs.
Unlike many people, I actually like Kudish. I have had him twice: failed the first time through. He is difficult if you expect him to teach you, but if you study on your own and use the cribs in the library, his tests aren't that bad. He has a pretty good sense of humor, and I enjoy attending his class. I would take him again.
He is a very intellegent man, unfortunately he is not the greatest at explaining methods and concepts. he is very funny, but i would suggest you avoid him if you feel like passing his class
Not nearly as bad as everyone says. He expects you to know your integrals REALLY well. Those who have the most trouble don't take the time to review. If you ask for help during ofice hours, he's very helpful. The curve is also very generous. Not a bad teacher at all; if you study, you'll get above 93.
Terrible Prof. Avoid if at all possible. Kudish does not care about his students. Will mock you if you get something wrong. Just what Kettering does not need!
Sometimes is hilarious, sometimes is frustrating. It depends on his mood. Sometimes he is too lazy to even get out of his chair to explain answers on the board. He is very cribable and teaches adequately. He's "not bad". He had homework graded only half the term because he lost his grader.
Good teacher, seems to absolutely love teaching Nums. Have learned more than with other teachers. Tests are fairly straightforward, not unfair or outside what we discussed/learned in class.
Would rather shoot myself than take this prof again. A complete jerk with grades. Droped a full ten percent after the final. Went in with an A, came out with a B-
Most people complain about him because his tests are hard; these are usually the lazy people that don't study. He is a really good prof, but make sure you know your stuff; you can't BS your way through the class. Does lots of HW problems to help you understand and knows when to slow down on tough stuff. You will learn a lot if you apply yourself.
Fails to understand that the material is new for students. His tests have complex problems that require too much algebra, making it difficult to finish tests in time and very easy to make simple mistakes. Difficult to contact for help because he values his "research" more than his job as a professor, so he is not on campus very often.
Kudish, who some refer to as "The Russian Bear" is a pretty cool professor. His class is decently hard, but if you pay attention you should be able to grasp the concepts, though sometimes he has trouble explaining things. He's a funny guy, and likes to tell stories. If you can deal with a Russian accent, you'll understand him just fine.
He expects you to know your integrals, and do your homework. Assigns approximatly 1,264 problems for homework every class. Tests are very difficult, but a very, very generous curve makes them passable (48% becomes a 70), but near impossible to ace.
He is pretty funny and says strange things sometimes if you are paying attention. Tests are pretty algebra-heavy. You must know your integrals. However, he is very crib-able and if you finish your test early he will tell you which problems you got wrong and send you back to your seat. Pretty easy. Take the time to do the homework and you're golden.
Do NOT take him early in the morning. Belittles his students and enjoys making fun of them. KNOW YOUR INTEGRALS if you want to pass and do the mandatory HW. I've heard that he gets easier and more pleasant as the day wears on?
I had him for Multivariate calc and diff. eq and the only thing that got me through his tests were the cribs. He's a really smart guy but that's his down fall. He can't relate the material well enough for someone(like me) who doesn't know what's going on. Do the homework, study the cribs, and you'll be fine.
Pretty bad professor, he speaks with a thick russian accent and has poor handwriting. He also has a bad habit of staring off out the window during class for no apparent reason. He assigns a large amount of homework that is collected and graded. If you want to actually learn the material i suggest that you pick a different professor
I really didnt mind this guy overall. Material is hard to grasp at first but once you learn the concepts, its just repetition. You cannot expect to get a good grade with little effort studying. It is hard to follow his work in class. I took very little notes. Watch youtube videos, get tutor help, and study tests and youll be ok.
Difficult to understand; final exam is not representative of course material. Don't take unless you can teach yourself. No homework.
One of the worst professors I've had. Never gave a grading scale. I got mid-70s on the tests and finals, and he failed me. Constantly berates students and is incredibly unhelpful during office hours. Demeaning whenever anyone asks questions. Stopped collecting homework because "Kettering doesn't have enough to pay a grader."
A very cribable prof, but he is a very stickler-y grader. The final exam is nearly half theory, so make sure to prepare for that. Other than that, he is a very entertaining prof with his fair share of stories.
I don't usually do this but I want to warn as many as I can. I got stuck with this guy, worst experience of my life, literally. Writes out EVERYTHING! Has caught onto the cribs so he changed the tests. No equation sheets for exams/quizzes, and no homework. Treats you like dirt if you ask a question and almost no office hours. You've been warned!
Going to lecture will literally make calc 3 more confusing. Worst professor I have had at Kettering so far. Will NEVER take again for any class.
Kudish is amazing. He loves when students do work on the board. All exams were take home for this course. Very easy, just work with your classmates. Homework: same thing. If this course had non-take home exams, it would be extremely difficult since there is so much material.
Stay away from Kudish. I will never take him again. My math-204 class was failing so badly that we had mandatory tutoring and he still decided to add a question to his test that had been the same 6 types of questions for years. If you ask questions, he will answer very vaguely or just make you feel like an idiot. DO NOT TAKE
I took him for Nums. If you want to pass all the tests find cribs and study off them. He does have the tendency to change some questions on each test so be aware of that. DO NOT WRITE EVERYTHING HE WRITES ON THE BOARD. He writes so much and it's difficult to keep up. The most important things to write down are the final equations and examples.
