horrible, waisted semester, not helpful at all, most of class failed, dosn't care if you understand or pass

Taking math 094 with this teach was a terrible mistake, she would much rather sit in the corner and eat large amounts of food than actually help a student, I took this class in the spring and receive a D, I retook the course in the summer with another teacher and Aced it, no one should take her.

Not considerate and a little rude

This class isn't online, but it should be. This teacher does not teach. She sends out rude emails, and if you ask for help she gives you a rude answer. I would not recommend her.

There is no reason for her to teach, because she does not help you what-so-ever. You go to her to ask a question and she does not give clear explanations and is sometimes rude. Might as well take an online course because you basically teach yourself. Do not take her unless you have zero free-time and no job, math will become your life.

Ive been in the class two weeks haven't taken one thing of notes cause she doesn't give any, her attitude is you should've learned this in pre algebra or take that class again cause I'm not going to teach it. Will start a problem then stop it and be like thats all y'all are getting out of me. Worst professor I've ever had. Will probably fail.

Literally the worst professor that I have ever come into contact with. She explains to the extent she feels and skips problems. She is just trying to get by till she retires. Get ready to teach yourself.

Worst math professor I ever had. Do not take this professor. Doesn't put your grades in until after you take the final, so you never know what you have in the class. Don't expect to get any good help either. I wouldn't recommend anyone to take this class. terrible professor!!

When students ask for help, before or after class, it will not be given. The response most often given is " It will come to you". If a student states they are not good at math, be prepared to be criticized in front of the entire class. She is an embarrassment to the teaching profession.

The class isnt hard she just doesnt give a damn. This lady is really a joke. She give a speech about pushing a mile and blah blah blah. But honestly she doesnt even want to teach. She is just there until she can retire. She doesnt not answer emails on time. Dont listen to her with the extra credit foolish. Please sign in them 5pts can hurt u.

I would avoid taking her class at all cost. A few of the students asked her if we should drop this class and she said to trust her. I decided to listen to her and stick it out and it was wrong choice. If you want to learn you better bring a Go-Pro so you can watch it again because she goes through the sections .way to fast teach yourself or fail.

Ms. Batiste was awful! She treats you like a 5th grader, with her notebook checks, and even made us leave the class and come back in again. The workload she gives you is huge, also. Lastly, she doesn't like to explain herself. if you have a question, she has other students explain rather than just explaining herself. stay away!

Had to WD from her class. She is not a clear teacher and will leave you confused. Asking for help is like stepping on a nail. She's too busy "trying" to make you laugh rather than explaining material. I would not recommend taking her for math at all.

The Worse!. Smart mouth, laughs at you when you ask questions, put you on blast, Rude and unprofessional. Don't care if you pass the class, Don't help with 1on1, Rush through lectures and tell you to finish for homework work you didn't learn. Everyone in the class got a D or lower. If you don't catch on in a blank of the eye don't take this class!

She does not care about your education. She wants attention and people to like her and if you dont like her then she tends to grade your paper harder than others. She is TERRIBLE at getting papers on canvas in a timely matter. Did not know my grade until the end of the semester.

Do NOT take this instructor. I have never met a teacher so disorganized, unmotivated, and rude. She doesn't care about you and makes it clear that she is only there because she has to be. She "taught" 3 chapters of calculus in 1 month because of her lack of preparedness and time management. She will insult you and say you don't understand her humor

DONT TAKE HER. She will belittle you & make fun of you infront of others. Stay away from this class, you have 5 hours of aleks each week plus more homework! Shes the worse professor Ive ever had. She takes attendance and will mark you not here if you are on zoom but dont have camera on. RUN.

Horrible, I wish I switched professors. She will not teach you and will make fun of you if you don't understand. You can participate on zoom and still get marked absent if you are not in the camera the entire time. I don't feel comfortable in this class at all. Sometimes I'm scared to approach her because she's so flip at the mouth. STAY AWAY.

We had to purchase a program & had to work in that program a minimum of 5 hours every week. Had 5 proctored test for the semester. She only teaches 1 way to do the math, if you do it differently, she will count it as wrong. If your answer is right but didn't work the problem, like she does you get 0-1 points instead of full credit. Don't take her.

I would NOT take a class with her. She is not clear about making sure everyone understands, moves on too fast, and doesn't grade fast at all. She doesn't really care about you passing. I've asked for help multiple times and she never answers my question. Just goes around it and makes me feel stupid for not knowing something that isn't clear.

I would not recommend this teacher for any course ever. She is not tech savy at all and does not know how to work online classes. She released work on Mondays and then would have 5 assignments due the next day. Lots of work, lectures are edpuzzle which are ab 5-15 minute videos that teach how to do 2 problems (hw had 15-30).

Please do not take this class. I decided to go against all of her ratings and give her the benefit of the doubt. She assigns an absurd amount of homework. So much to where I have received failing grades in my other class because her assignments consumed every minute of every day. Her tests are extremely hard and she never says what will be on them.

DO NOT take her at all. She dumps multiple assignments everyday, and grades hard on other assignments outside of quizzes, homework. During finals she wasn't really compassionate to my personal situation that really took up my attention. BEWARE! If you're thinking of taking her, do yourself a favor and choose someone else to teach you.

Obnoxious, wastes your time, rude, not a good teacher, and does not care about her students passing. She said it her self that she's just there for a paycheck..

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! She is rude and does not care about your grade, she admitted it herself. She gave us a quiz every day the week before finals and called it a review, no one knew the material on them and they were a waste of time. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Very unhelpful when you send her emails and asking questions, me and other classmates agree on this. I work fulltime and attend online classes and I have never been so stressed in my life over a math class.

0/10 wouldn't recommend! Especially if you work full time like me, it was too many assignments and just an overload of work i couldn't keep up.. everytime i got caught up on something i was back behind..

Just spare yourself. 16 assignments a week plus quizzes is just not manageable. She says she's always open for emails but is unavailable for more than half the week. Also she posts assignments 2-3 days late and expects it to be completed without an extension. -2/10 professor.

Would not recommend this teacher if math is not your strong suit.Lots of homework due every night, easy to get behind.She expects grace to be given to her, but does not return that favor to students.She's late to class.She makes you to stay till the end of class time even though she is done teaching, she'll make you do homework instead. STAY CLEAR!
