test are open notes, all you have to do is copy notes from his slide that he shows you, because that is what the test is on. he's very nice, not too strict

I was terrified to take this class because I am not good at math, but luckily Mr. Inyang made the concepts very clear. He was open to answering questions and helping out. He provides a good outline for notes and allows them on tests. Tests are still difficult, and he takes a long time to get test grades back to us! He does offer Extra Cred!!!

Prof Inyang is very helpful! If you have any questions about HW from previous night, ask him and he'll show you how to do it. Lectures were mainly powerpoint and he posts the notes on BB. Just do your HW, don't get behind taking the test and you'll succeed. Mid-term was a take home and Final exam is similar from the review sheet! No quizzes!

I was scared of Statistics but he made it interactive and enjoyable. I strongly recommend taking a Stat class with him. Very funny and interesting .

Intro to stats class He is a wonderful, kind professor. Chill professor for the online course. I don't understand why people complain, like he gives 3 attempts for tests and quizzes (with the exception of the final). It doesn't get much better than that. Hybrid courses are fast paced, thats to be expected. Pace yourself and keep due dates in mind and you will be fine. Don't leave everything for the end.

From the very beginning prof Inyang highlights of the heavy amount of work needed to be completed throughout the course. A person who leaves things for last min will fail. However, if you complete all the work in a timely manner, you will get an A. He gives three attempts for exams and quizzes. There is no reason to fail. He is a great professor!

He gives alot of time to complete his work. The only tip i will give is that DONT leave his work at the last minute because he gives you like a month to complete all of his work but the only thing is that its very time consuming. I left his work for the last minute and during finals week i had like 15+ assignments due on a Sunday plus a group proj.

Professor Inyang is a really good instructor. We do our assignments mostly on Pearson, have weekly discussion boards on Canvas, a project, and three tests. He likes to answer questions if you do not understand his criteria or the math problem, and do not hesitate to ask. I recommend taking his class if you are not good at math.

Do attendance quizzes done in class it would help you understand the material and do well on Test. Several assignment to complete to pass the class. The professor is good. Take him for MTH 245. Lectures are recorded but attendance is required.

Statistics was my last class before graduating this semester.I am glad I took the course with him. This guy sets out everything you need to learn in advance. Very caring and reasonable. Took a 7 week Asynch Online Course. Responds in a decent amount of time but replies to emails faster than the Q&A discussion board. The modules were all organized and he was chill on grading. There are up to 2 quiz attempts. He also does weekly announcements reminding the class where to pace themselves. Downside: no feedback provided unless asked.

Took a 6week summer course it was challenging but he made sure that the class was on track. Every assignment was assigned in advanced, that way you know what to expect. If you study and ask for help you will PASS. He is available to help you. I'm not good in math but I can understand statistics thanks to the excellent teaching. Take him for Stats.

I hate math, but had to take Stats. Fortunately, I had a great Prof. He made the course relevant even for an English major! Prof. Inyang is great. Excellent notes and teaching. If you study and ask for help should be ok. Pass with C, because did not ask for help on the project on Labs on time. Great guy!

Professor Inyang was great, I mainly don't enjoy math so I got lost in most of his lectures. He doesn't want students talking and would prefer if you had a question to ask him. Warning there is a lot of homework, you also wont be using a physical textbook and he'll want you to get the online one from a program where he posts homework and tests.

I don't like math. This was my second time taking Stats. The professor help me see the practical application of the statistics and that help me to pass the course the second time around. If you stay organized, you will do well. A very easy going guy and will help your to learn.

This was my second time taking Calc. I wished I took the course with him the last time. He highlighted what I need to learn . The discussion boards help me explain the steps in my own words. If you complete the work you should pass the course.

His teaching is fine and helpful with whatever you don't understand. Would not recommend taking his class in a shorter term because of how much there is to learn. He has a few assignments every week but won't take long if you understand the topics.

He is great professor, always willing to help, will go over homework questions as each topic is covered so that you know what to expect and what is important. You have to complete the homework before you can take the quiz, if you do the you should be fine. Take him for MTH 245.

Stats is hard and harder to teach. Inyang goes over all questions in the homework and the project at the end. Tests are open note and online without lockdown. The lectures are short and its hard to cover all the material in that time, so ask questions. He helps as much as he can and will explain it until you understand it. He wants you to succeed!

Over all he is a good professor. Just pay attention and ask questions you'll do fine. The tests and quizzes are hard but it is open book. Lots of homework assignments. Just do your work and you will get good grade.

Great professor, teaches the class so that even if you aren't in math you can understand how stats is relevant in real life. I struggled with math and was stressed, thinking this class was going to be hard, but it was by far the easiest class I took. There was a two-person assignment each week, two exams with no lockdown browser and a module and discussion question. You need to show your face in the class but other than super easy and wants you to pass.

Professor Inyang, is a very knowledgeable and caring professor who wants to see his students succeed. The class is a fair amount of work (I took his hybrid class) but Prof. Inyang will take the time to meet with you to discuss homework and will go over things multiple times in class to make sure everyone understands. He makes a tough subject fun!

He is a good Professor but very diffcult to understand at first. With time I coud understand him better and he explains really well. He would be better if his Syllabus made more sense. I was always confused and feeling like I was behind because the due dates did not match with the Syllabus. His exam is really FREAKING HARD, diffcult to get an A

I took the 6 week course while balancing other 6 week courses and it was pretty tough but manageable! He is there to help and goes over many of the homework and assignments before they are due through zoom which is very helpful. Overall very glad I finished with an A lol. It was a pretty heavy but great course to take.

I took a 6-week Zoom statistics class with him, and I would definitely do it again. He is very kind and respectful, always willing to help as many times as needed, and very patient. He reviews assignments thoroughly, which is really nice, and the tests are open-note.

Professor Inyang is very knowledgeable and makes a tough subject manageable. The class is a fair amount of work, but he is always available to help. Unstuckstudy AI and the free textbook were great study aids that really helped me succeed.

Professor Inyang is a chill and friendly guy, but there were a lot of tech issues during class. On Zoom, he mostly just talked the whole time without much interaction. Still, the class was pretty easy to pass overall, so if you just need the credit, it's a low stress option.

Professor Inyang Inyang was an amazing professor. Truthfully, math is not my strong suit, but taking his class made me change my point of view. He is super helpful, and easy to follow his lectures; you just have to do the pre-class reading and prepare for the material. His lectures made me understand everything and helped me pass this course.

I took his zoom class. He is respected and teaches the topics well. There are homeworks for each chapter, but they don't take long. There are attendance quizzes, but sometimes he does it for us. There's a end-of-the-semester project, but it is easy. His exams and quizzes are based off what he teaches in class. Take him and you'll pass easily.

Honestly such a good professor. He was so willing to help and explain concepts over and over again until everyone understood. It was challenging but he made it possible to do well. 100% recommend

I took him for the 6-week stats course. He's not a tough grader and you can usually turn in some assignments a few hours late. He gives good feedback. He's great at explaining things if you need a little extra help. He was also always available for office hours, he encouraged them. He seems a little strict at first, but he's pretty chill.

Highly recommend taking this professor! He is very supportive and kind! He will give you the opportunity to ask questions in the beginning of each class and will provide an example to ensure you understand the material. Workload is manageable and straight forward. Definitely take him, don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

Professor Inyang is very supportive and helps whenever is needed. Not sure why his rating is so low, he deserves much higher. As long as you pay attention in the lectures, and do the homework, you'll do just fine.

Very kind and understanding. Also answers questions really well during the lecture and makes sure the whole class understands before moving on. Lots of homework & quizzes so it's hard to keep up, but his lectures are great.

Professor Inyang is one of the best professors I have had at NOVA thus far. He is so caring and genuine, I don't even mind going to his class. He is very straightforward about what he will be testing you on and he goes over the HW/attendance quizzes in class so it's less confusing when you go to do it yourself. 100% recommend.

A ton of assignments in this class, but it's an easy A if you stay on top of your work. As long as you complete everything and show up to class, you shouldn't get less than a B. He is very nice and can be lenient as long as you're a good student. I would suggest smart ai use for guidance especially when working with statcrunch (can get confusing).
