She has a great energy but she tend to talk alot and repeats things to the point where you're wondering if you're in Kindergarden. There's barely room for asking questions --she's like a duracell battery --once she starts talking, she keeps going and going and going and going...

pretty cool and not so tough... but she still gets you to learn everything you need to know...makes boring stuff seem interesting and gets you excited about the subject material

Prof. Ray is pretty cool, she's down to earth and ready to help. She makes the ingformation easy to understand and simplifies everything so not even an idiot can get it wrong. Speaking of which, "keeps on going and going" is the Energizer battery not Duracell, you're a disgrace to marketing!

it was hard to concentrate on all the math in the class when all me and my buddies could think about is asking her out...she's super hot even though she tries hard to appear plain. She's way hotter than JLo man!! BTW, she's a great professor too. Real world knowledge and enthusiasm!!

Makes learning subject interesting; fun, young, and refreshing to have a normal professor. Must do work to learn...but in the end you'll find ull wanna do it. take her if you can.

obviously those griping about her classes have done very poorly. My friends and I have taken her Media class before and now taking her research class. She's very good and highly respected by her students. So stop complaining and start taking responsibilty for your own failures. Love her enthusiasm, concern and teaching style.

I really like her teaching style. She allows students to express any opinions and is very open to our input. Stuff she teaches can be very tough but she makes it interesting and applicable to real world. It doesn't hurt to look at her too, especially in a morning class! One of the best teachers I've had at Pace hands down!! Take her if you can.

Prof Ray is down to earth and extremely knowledgeable in the field. She's an asset to any marketing major-- as she truly wants to help. The class was a little hectic, due to the huge group project. However, in the end it was fun, and she graded fairly. Her exams are not hard. There is rarely ever homework. And she is hilarious-- and encourages alot

I've only heard great things about her from everyone, but after taking her class last semester I can honestly say, she's the BEST professor I've had in four years at Pace. The whole class loved her and many of us now want to work in media and account management because of her class. Take her if you can!!!

Seriously, the best and toughest class I've taken at Pace in 4 years! She's always there to help students and her tough love makes us well prepared for the real business world. It's sad the one that cry and whine a lot are the same ones that never come to class or do any work in the teams. She's really fair when it comes to that stuff. Love her!

By far THE BEST CLASS I've taken! her class can be tough if you dont keep up with your own work but it's the MOST prepared I feel I am for the real business world. Brings great knowledge and energy to every class. Very helpful outside class too.

Ray is probably the best marketing prof. at Pace. Shes really into her classes and comes off as if marketing is the most important thing in the world. Dont buy the textbook. the whole class is geared up for the huge final group marketing presentation. If you like marketing, take her. Hardly any hw, exams are hard but pointless

Definitely the best professor I've had. Before i graduate this May have to say am the most prepared for a corporate career after taking her. Was management major but landed a job in marketing! Love it so far. Her class was the ONLY reason why I started loving marketing. TAKE HER if you can. Exams hard but comprehensive. Awesome class!!

She can get a bit intense about her marketing beliefs as if everyone in the class wanted a career in marketing, but I rather have a professor that loves what she does than one that doesn't care. Dr. Ray wanted to help students, and her truthful (sometimes very blunt) and caring personality really made the class enjoyable. I highly recommend her

Ipshita is a fantastic professor. Pace and Lubin are lucky to have someone of her background teaching to business students. Most of what I learned from her I am using in my job. I highly recommend her

ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! Everyone I have talked to so far simply raves about her and I can see why. She is the farthest from arrogant - I guess if enthusiasm, passion and expertise mean arrogance then Id rather be arrogant than lame. I learned so much in this class. Prof. Ray is awesome. She is energetic about marketing & her teaching style reflects that. Her experience is a huge plus b/c she can create real life parallels to textbook concepts. If your taking Dr. Ray you better study your butt off. Shes pretty good at teaching but she's a tough cookie. I learned a lot but she's obsessed with the powerpoint project. Professor Ray is amazing I took her freshman year for MAR 250 and then for marketing research. I am now a senior and I'm going to take her again. She is the best marketing professor at Pace. You learn a lot and she is completely fair. Attendance is mandatory but rarely gives homework. Just do the work and you'll be fine. TAKE HER she's amazing!

Dr. Ray wants you to work hard and make a name for yourself. She pushes you to bring out the best in you. After her class, you should feel confident and proud of yourself. She may be blunt, but that does not mean she is mean. You would appreciate her if you cared about your career and education. She works hard so you can make her proud!

Professor Ray is tough but for our sake. She is always looking out for her students and helping us with our career paths and pushing us to do our best even if it means working extra hard and doing a lot. THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAD IN 2 YEARS AT PACE!! She was tough but she expected the best from her students. You have to work hard in her class. No other professor at Pace gave as much detailed feedback as her. There were some students in my class that did very poorly in her assignments and complained all the time but in my opinion she was AWESOME!!

Absolutely Amazing Prof. Hard, strict, no-nonsense but really caring and wants her students to succeed in the real world which she has a very good history of doing. She has helped me personally and the more I worked hard the more she helped me so i can only say the best things about her. She is the best professor i have had at pace by far.

I had a really great experience with Prof Ray and her classes. I took her twice in one year. Yes she is tough and a bunch of students in both classes complained about their grades but I only heard good things from those in my cohort so cant speak about those that thought she was unfair. I am doing an independent study with her next. Learned a lot!

So a bunch of us Who took her class are sitting together and wondering why some of the students are so negative because we think it is so unfair when she has been so helpful with meetings and lectures. A lot of us love her and respect her and feel the need to defend her. She is the best And has helped many students like us. Thank god we had her!

Thanks to Prof I secured a great paid internship with a Nielsen as a research analyst this summer! She helped me outside the class and provided great feedback. She is quite tough, i've had tougher like Goldman but at least I learned a lot and found her to be very inspiring. If you reach out to her for advice and help she will go all the way for u.

Dr. Ray knows more about Marketing than most of the professors at Pace and also gives excellent advice on Research and New Product Development Topics. Dr. Ray is one of the most caring professors at Pace. She cares about the students and the University. Dr. Ray should be running a University or leading a Department. She is Strategic.

Tough professor but cares for students grades. If you do exactly what she tells you its a easy class. The exams are hard so study study study. Group project is all semester long and it is a drag but easy A if you do all the requirements that are listed. She gives A LOTTTT of extra credit.

Dr Ray is a great professor! She did make us work for our grade but you could tell she actually cared about the subject she's teaching and her students. The tests were challenging but she provided extra credit opportunities to increase your grade. I'd definitely take her again.

Amazing professor who truly cares about the students who cares for her subject. If youre slacking, she can be a tad rude. If you get on her good side (ie care about the subject and study hard), she will do whatever is in her power to help you land your dream job and provide solid career advice. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Ray as my bachelor thesis advisor, and holy smokes I'm so happy I got her. She made my group work hard as f, but it was definitely worth it. She expected nothing but an A from us, and well, that's what we got. As others say, she is tough, but only because she wants you to succeed.

She is kind and genuinely just wants her students to put in effort. Her class does not take a lot of work beyond what's expected of normal grad school classes. Honestly, just come prepared to office hours and try.
