One of my favorite teachers. Her tests come right from your notes, and she hints during notes as to what is on her test. She makes her class interesting and is always there to help you out if you need it.

Amazing teacher! She is absolutely hilarious, a very fun instructor. Ditzy and dingy, but in a good way. Easy tests, but you still come out of her class having learned something. Highly recommended, epsecially if you need an Art elective, or even a general elective. Interesting course, as well.

Dr. Nero is probably one of the most inspiring professors I've had. Her enthusiasm and love for art history is very apparent. When I got into the upper level art history classes as an art major, taking her class for the first time got me more interested

Mrs. Nero is an amazing teacher. I highly recomend her for any and all Art Histories that need be taken, specifically dealing with Modern Art. She will interest you in the subject whether you you want to be or not, and you will thank her forever after for doing it!

She is great in 105! I know I am going to try to take her again next year in 106. She makes everything so interesting. You will never look at a clay pot the same!

Her class is very easy. Her jokes are very lame. She's nice overall.

Dr. Nero is one awsome professor- she is such a nice lady- one of the best professors that I have had- Her tests come straight from her lectures and her lectures- well she always makes them fun- and she even lets you out a little early if you have her night class- I would definitly recommend her!!

She is remarkable. Interesting, truly passionate about what she is doing. She cares about her job and it is apparent in her classes. She does everything she can to keep the lecture engaging and fun. She is definitely way so cool.

She is NOT esay if you take an upper level class. If you don't believe me ask her yourself, she'll tell you. HOWEVER she is a truly remarkable and passionate teacher and person, and it's easy to get interested in her lectures, which makes the class SEEM a whole lot easier. Best class I ever took, by far.

I guess she'd be easy for art majors, but her tests are worded in a confusing manner. She is a nice professor so just go and see for yourself. A whole lot of slides to try and sift through so get ready!

The best prof at SLU. Her tests are fair but can be difficult. She really expects you to study. She's great at lecturing and happy to have questions and comments. She's the smartest person that I've ever met.

I love Ms. Nero. I took Art 106 first and I liked her so much that i went back to take Art 105. Now I am about to take a third class from her. The exams are pretty easy and she gives a lot of bonus.

Dr. Nero's class was excellent. Don't bother with the book; just go to class and LISTEN. Not just memorization, she actually wants you to learn & appreciate. Tests are true to her lecture , always adds a couple of bonus on the end. Seriously, she is kind and "loves her job"...Highly recommended.

Shes very easy going, a lot of jokes, and always smiling. She makes the subject interesting, because I had no interest in art history whatsoever. She clearly loves her job, and wants you to love class too. The tests are on the pictures we go over in class, if you pay attention and study a bit the night before you'll make an A for sure.

Please disregard the comments about Dr. Nero being hard. She is not at all hard- if you make any less than an A you must not have tried. She is easy and makes an overall boring subject interesting. She really helped me appreciate art more and she is a sweet person. Oh, and she gives 9 points extra credit for a 100 point class- thats generous.

I LOVED Dr. Nero. She does loves her job, and it shows through her teaching. The tests come directly from the notes. Bonus opportunities as well.

This teacher rocks! She is very passionate about this subject, and it more than shows in her teaching. As for her difficulty, you most definitely will have to study your notes, but they're so interesting that it doesn't feel nearly as tedious as some other classes. A+ Teacher. We definitely need more like her!

This lady is the best teacher ever. So nice, tries to be funny, very knowledgeable on the subject. Honestly tries to relate to students. Will answer questions. You do need to study a bit, but she is very clear what is on the test, and usually cuts a lot off. Will give you a break on days when everyone wants to leave early. Best professor ever!!!!!!

She is a very fun and quirky lady. Her tests are not easy, but if you study and take good notes, they are not hard. All of her notes are verbal, so if you are not good at taking notes straight from lecture, do not take her. I find that she makes are history as entertaining as she possibly can.

Dr. Nero is a great teacher. I am not an art person yet I am enjoying this class. She has three 33 point test. You need a 93 to get an A but each test has two bonus questions and if you fill out the study guide she gives you 5 bonus points. As long as you go to class and study before each test you should get an A.

She is a wonderful professor. She knows her subject extremely well. She is understanding of the fact that not everyone in the class is an art major, and tries to make the material as entertaining as possible. Class attendance is a MUST. She does not teach out of the book. She offers bonus assignments.

Dr. Nero's class is wonderful! She makes the class interesting and fun. There are multiple opportunities for extra credit, indluding 5 bonus points for completing the study guide. Take Nero if you want to learn and want a class that is not deathly time consuming nor hard.

Fun and funny. She makes art history as interesting as it could possibly be. If you attend class then she will keep you interested and tell you generally what to know for test. I barely needed to study because she makes the art come alive with interesting stories behind the work that dont let you forget.

Wonderful professor. Makes class interesting. She practically gives away an A. She has multiple extra credit opportunities. Tests are easy. She doesn't require you to know dates. She also allows for open discussion which can get interesting depending on the interest/personality of the class.

She is a wonderful teacher and makes class interesting. Her tests are a little tricky at first, but once you get used to her notes and test questions it becomes a lot easier. She also gives a lot of extra credit. I would highly recommend taking her.

I took this as an online class, through APUS. I loved this class and this professor was really helpful. The discussion board topics are interesting and relevant. The quizzes and papers are graded quickly and fairly. Great class, great prof.

took her for art history. SO EASY! i never had to go to class because she did a review the day before the test of exactly what was going to be on the test. The tests are just pictures straight out of the book.

She makes art history fun! Her UPPER level classes are not a walk in the park. Only two exams (all essay) and a 10 page paper... and they are NOT easy. She's the easiest and funnest art history teacher, so take her! You won't regret it!

I really loved Dr. Nero for Art History. All we did was take notes and look at slides. The tests were easy. Multiple choice. All I ever did to study was read my notes while looking at the image in the book.

In one word: Amazing. She is truly passionate about her job and as a result, it's difficult not to love her. She's got a dry, witty sense of humor and I really enjoyed going to her class.

Everyone loves Nero! Upper levels are only two tests plus 10 page paper and that's the only grades. Tests are difficult: first C I ever made on a test and I'm a senior. STUDY!!!

Dr. Nero is wonderful. She loves what she teaches and makes you love it too. 4 tests are your only grades and they are crazy easy. I took the first three and got A's and she drops your lowest test grade so I didn't have to study for the final, totally let me chill out a bit during a crazy time. Take her for sure!

Dr. Nero made me obsessed with art history... and I HATED it when I first came to college. You truly learn a lot in this class. Her tests aren't easy at first (all essay), but once you take one test... you know what to study for the next!

Dr. Nero is a great professor that really loves her job. She actually made art history interesting, which I never thought was possible. Her tests aren't hard if you study for them, but she drops your lowest test grade anyway. And if you do well on all 3 tests and are happy with your grade, then you don't have to take the final. Take her class!!

The most amazing professor ever! I'm a molecular biology degree and she saved my graduation. She is fun, understanding, easy, and gives so much attention to her students. HIGHLY recommend!!!

She's nice and very enthusiastic about the subject. It was an interesting class. You have to go to class, though. Tests are straight from the notes. there's 100 points possible the whole semester. 3 tests with 33 regular questions, and two bonus questions. There's also two, two page art critique that are worth 2 points each for bonus.

LOVE HER! She is so sweet and helpful. Very enthusiastic! Her 106 class is really easy and very interesting. Her 443 class is tough, but interesting and as long as you put in the work you'll get great results. She really gets you interested in the subject & makes you contemplate things you wouldn't have thought of. TAKE HER!! You won't regret it.

Classes are easy, I took her for 105, and 106, best class every. I love art history. For 443, the test are very, very easy. Just be sure to KNOW THE DATES!! She doesn't give credit if you are close, you must be exact! Study and you will pass! The papers are easy, just two art critiques and a theory paper, to which she gives outlines for. Love her!

Ms. Nero is a fun, enthusiastic teacher, and you can tell she loves her job. She's easy to talk to. She only gives three tests a semester, each worth 100 points. You have one opportunity to earn bonus points. Her study guide gives the majority of test info needed, her lectures give the rest. When she says "know this" it's on the test.

I absolutely adore Dr. Nero. Her lectures are amazing & you can really tell she loves what she's doing. She offers bonus points on every exam and quiz, so as long as you pay attention in class, you're sure to make an A. There are also Quizlets for all three of her exams that really help. If you can't take Dr. Nero, try Mr. Silva; he's also amazing!

An amazing professor and you can tell how passionate she is about art history. All tests are based on lectures and she tells you exact things to write down that will most likely be on the test! She is the most understanding person I have ever met and she genuinely wants the best for students. Textbook is also available online but is not be used

One of the best professors Ive had at SELU! shes so understanding and sweet; all you have to do is talk to her & shes willing to work with you. You gotta go to class though and listen her lectures cause thats majority of the tests. That being said she makes it so fun, and she honestly makes the material interesting. Couldnt recommend her more!

Took Art 100 during a 7 week course, and it's by far the best course I've ever taken! The work was very light and very easy to manage. I never liked Art, but I definitely enjoyed taking her class. Each module consisted quizzes for each chapter and in the end a test with lockdown browser so beware of that!
