Completely insane, but in a miraculous way. She is very expressive, can get your attention no matter how tired you are. Very helpful when you ask, and really an amazing teacher. Doesn't make you read the chapters, just gives you a list of questions and corresponding page numbers. Attendance is key, though.

Prof. Weber is hilarious and presents the material in a way that is completely relevant to the college lifestyle. There are daily opportunities for extra credit, if you come to class, and I always ended up wanting to come to class, even though it was an 8 am class.

I had Irene for P324 and P102. Definitely my favorite professor I've had at IU. Although she doesn't take attendance, I rarely missed a lecture because her class is so interesting and entertaining. Irene is absolutely hilarious and makes lecture enjoyable. Tests are fairly easy and she gives extra credit for attendance.

Irene is very nice and funny but can be a bit disorganized and unclear. If you go to class, you can get a lot of extra credit, which is helpful, because the tests can be challenging. They involve multiple choice questions and short answer questions. To study for them, you just need to review your lecture notes and book notes over and over again.

Irene is the best! Her lectures are basically a comedy routine where you learn about psych disorders. She has outlines for you to print out; these guide the lectures. Tests consist of EVERYTHING covered in lecture (so make sure you go) and then test questions which she gives you a study guide for.

I went into this class thinking I was going to take psych not have someone actually change my life. I was never a good test taker and she sat down with me and taught me how to take tests. It shows she really cares how her students do and is by far the hardest working professor I have ever had. As long as you write out your notes it's a very easy A.

The tests are kinda hard, but lectures are good and easy to follow, You have to attend every class as notes are not posted and no powerpoints. Very kind and amusing. Study hard for the tests, not book is needed to pass, just look up the book questions online for the study guide.

She's clear about what you need to know, presents material in a logical away, and is incredibly engaging in lecture. The only thing that is hard is learning what she says and doesn't write in her notes that will be on the exam, but that's it. Follow her instructions, and you'll have a great time. Textbook is to fill out a few questions per exam.

Irene is a world class gal. If you show up to lectures and put in the effort, she's willing to work with you on things that may need a little bumpboost. Make-up exams are flexible and getting the notes are easy. The biggest problem is that she is so popular with students and teaches 4 classes so she is often forgetfulunreliable (understandably).

Take this class if you do not need to actually learn the information. I am pre-med and needed to go over things more, but when I asked for help she would say that these things weren't on the test so she didn't want to go into it. If this was a class that I did not need, then I would love it because she gives out As for days. She is really nice tho.

I chose psych 101 over other intro courses I was interested in (like sociology) BECAUSE Irene was the professor. Irene's lectures are engaging and dare I say FUN to attend. Still, she manages to relay all the important info needed for exams & understanding of the info. She's hilarious, compassionate, and intelligent. Would recommend.

It was a joy to come to Irene's lectures. She made the material super interesting and made the 1 1/2 hr lecture fly by. I even decided to pursue a Psych minor and am taking her Abnormal Psych class because I loved it so much! She overs lots of extra credit if you show up. I laughed every day in this class. By far the best psyc 101 professor, but you have to go to class as she doesn't post the notes online. Drops your lowest exam grade and gives extra credit on random days just for coming to class. Also, no textbook so you never have to read long, boring chapters which is a bonus. Irene is a fantastic professor because she breaks the mold of the typical professor. Her class is like an educational stand up routine. I learned a lot and am now considering a minor in Psychology because of this course and professor. Everyone should take this course, especially if you need a science credit.

I took her psych 100 class and she was amazing. At the end of the semester I had a 92% and went into her office hours and she raised it to a 93%. Would for sure take again and made me love psych. If you are going to do a psychology class at IU, take it with Irene.

This classes requires four credits of psychology experiments (easy). Irene teaches her classes so that the class is enjoyable for the students. She lectures in a way which is easy to understand. You use an online textbook, which doubles as a workbook (and free points in class).

Irene was my favorite teacher my freshman year of college. She always made lecture fun and enjoyable. I had this class on a Friday and always wanted to go because she made it not suck so bad! The quizzes are all online and an easy A. The notes taken in class are exactly whats on the tests. Gave extra credit a few times for being there on a Friday!

Prof. Weber is amazing and is the reason I decided to minor in Psych. She can be disorganized but if she doesn't fit something into her lecture she won't put it on the exam. She's hilarious and tells lots of anecdotes as examples for concepts. If you show up and take decent notes you'll be fine, and she drops your lowest exam score from your grade.

Very nice, funny woman and gives entertaining lectures. My friend who is a psych major said to take psych with her because she is "easier" than other professors. Grade is completely based on exams (6) in 101 but she drops your lowest score. Attendance is not mandatory, but you have to go to get notes and she basically tells you everything on exams.

Irene, words do not describe the impact she can make. Hands down, she is the best instructor I have ever had. She cares about the students, and not just in success with school, but more so livelihood. When the semester starts to fall apart, she picks it back up and helps you recover from the daunting last minutes to finals.

There is a reason she is the instructor everyone wants to UTA for. She is perfection! Even after taking so many of her classes, I still learn from her. Why? She relates the topics to today, and not to yesteryear. Irene is a goddess, without her IU would be a rut.

For one of my most dreaded gen-eds, Irene made this class so fun. If you need to get an N&M out of the way and don't want too terrible of a class, this is the way to go. Irene had me laughing constantly throughout the professor. Also, if you are ever struggling, do not hesitate to talk to her about it, she will be more than willing to help you out!

She's incredibly kind and respectful and presents the material in an interest way -- however your grade is based entirely on exams (1 of which you can drop), so while attendance isn't mandatory, she likes to say "everything that comes out of my mouth is gold," so it's important that you attend anyway or get notes from someone who is thorough.

She's such a funny and down-to-earth person! She's very understanding if you tell her things that are happening that may conflict with classes and exams. She tries to find a way to make her lectures relate to the students and things we deal with daily or monthly as a student in college. LOVE HER!!!

Irene is known as the Queen of Psychology at IU due to her overflowing well of knowledge as well as being comedic and relatable to her students and is very well liked. Lectures are easy to follow and understand. Tests are the only grades she has and these can be difficult but you just have to set aside plenty of time to study.

Irene is AMAZING. I had her for 101 and 102 and I plan on taking abnormal with her if I can get in (her classes fill up quick!) She is hilarious and makes you want to study and learn the material. I am a business major and was taking these classes to get my Natural Sciences credits and this class was one of my favorites at IU. Irene is hilarious, and a very good lecturer, and her topics are very interesting. She cares a lot about her students and does quite literally everything in her power to help you pass.

Irene is a great human, she struggles with ADD so that is harder for her to focus. While in class you will be talking about one thing and then she will start randomly talking about sex, former president trump, or cussing. She is very understanding when it comes to assignments majority of them were done in class, and quizzes were open notes.

The criteria is laid out very well and for quizzes, just honestly look through the notes because her notes are exactly what you should know on the tests, even highlighted.
