Never take this teacher! you hear me, just don't! Horrible teaching skills, talks about random stuff and doesn't show how to do any problems. She actually wanted to bring a tutor in to help us! What does that say???

I got expelled from this class because I told the truth. I simply told her that her test was bogus... and it was. She knew i was right. So i got expelled.DO NOT take her class. She dosent teach well, you CANNOT understand her, you will waste your time

oh my GOD - this class was insane. She didn't know our names (we were a class of 7) and never handed things back to us. None of knew where we stood in the class when we got to the final. Totally defensive when questioned and HUGE language barrier.

Made us spend $50 on a book that was made with Word and clip art. We learned nothing, to pass her tests all you had to do was memorize the problems in the book. Pointless don't her class, won't be prepared for 130!

There were 8 people in my class and I dropped it because at mid-term time, we were on Chapter Two. She lost all my homeworks and the only test I took. "The Grader" lost it...Don't take a class with this teacher.

Oh my...what can I say about Irina. The first word that comes to mind is -HORRIBLE! Stay away from Irina at all costs. She is by far not only the worst teacher but she also hardly speaks english. I didn't learn a thing in her class, it was a waste of my time.

Her lack of English makes it highly intangible to attain the adequate amount of information that is expected.Doesnt even know our names and is allergic to perfume???Overall her class is extremely poorly executed. Irina kudoz for you for making it one of the reasons why people do not wish to attend at school and make it an option of dropping out.

Had to take this for precalculus, if you can get out DO IT! She is by far the absolute worse teacher ever to teach in the history of the world! You dont understand, she thinks she's amazing and she constantly puts you down.If you actually can see the board because she keeps the lights off (bad for your eyes apparently?) it's a miracle. Try to avoid this teacher at all cost. I learned more math in my english class than I did in this one. All these reviews on here are pretty much accurate, she is as bad as everyone says she is.

This teacher is the worst. She won't let you ask question and she makes students that don't know what they are doing teach the class. She is always shhhing people that are trying to ask a question and she even told one girl to "shut up". You have to self-teach yourself in this class, and if you can't do that you won't do well. She treats people nicely in our class since we do not really complain. However she treats us like animals because if we talk, she'll ring a crystal bell just to keep us completely quiet. Does not allow students to ask questions. Makes us write research papers on Math... seriously? Who does that? I'm so lucky i took Calc already..

The worst class I have ever taken in my life. Cant understand her. Instead of teaching us..... she tells you to look at examples in the book. Basically if you don't know how to teach yourself.... you're screwed. I don't know how she is still teaching. Not one person in the classroom fully understands her!

She knows calculus, the problem is, she doesn't know how to teach it. If you know calculus beforehand, just ignore her and do the homework, you'll be fine because it is basic calculus. If you have never taken calc, highly recommend you find another professor - no matter how well her class fits in your schedule.

Horrible class. She doesn't explain things, if you ask a question she says "i will explain later". she refuses to calculate our grades until the end of term and rarely passes back work. she collects homework randomly. VERY thick accent. she has messy handwriting. she also wears weird hats.

Professor Peterburgsky has provided me with the most disorganized and aggravating experience 6ever. She has no idea what your grade is, what you owe; all she does is keep assigning homework. her grading is completely arbitrary. She also brings her personal life into the classroom very often. Overall, the worst academic experience I have ever had.

She's definitely the worst teacher I have ever had in my 15 years of schooling. She has an accent which is not hard to understand. She does not teach, she'll ask if you have questions and when you do she tells the class she can't waste time going over it. She says something once and says " okay so you get it" and people say no and she moves on.

I wish I read all this before taking her class. Nearly everything on here is accurate. I strongly suggest avoiding having her as a professor if possible. And if you can't avoid having her, I'm so sorry for you.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. she will give you the homework you didnt learn at all, and never explain the problems you dont know. the only thing she will do is laid back and let the student solve problems for her. when u have a question she will ask you to go to CLAS. She is rude and cares nothing. tons of homework. I got A is because I learned by myself

Please avoid this professor if you're given the chance. She's convinced she's a fantastic professor, but all she does is talk about her own personal life in class and then proceeds to assign upwards of 20 pages of homework to turn in. Sometimes she doesn't even take the homework to grade, so hours of homework becomes a waste of time. Avoid her.

Please avoid this teacher. I don't understand how I'm paying so much money and end up getting a teacher like her. She doesn't teach math at all. If your not good at math avoid her! You don't do well.

She's a nice person but it by far the worst teacher I've ever had. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but she's terrible. I had to go to the Math dept. to find out what room our final exam was in the day before because she never posted it. Good thing I told my classmates where it was because otherwise no one would've known where to go. Throughout the course I felt Prof. Peterburgsky did little to educate and expected us to already know what she was suppose to teach.

She does not actually teach. If I didn't already know this material from high school I would definitely be failing the course. She is rude and thinks she is more important than she actually is. She has used her hands and arms to demonstrate a line or curve of a function... while the room is surrounded in white boards and chalk boards.

Do not take this class with Peterburgsky and Klipker. It was a relatively easy class. The only reason I did well in this class is that I learned the material in high school. Both professors are terrible instructors and have a very poor command of the English language and thick accents. I am unsure how they both were hired in the first place.

She did not teach anything during class, using pre-recorded videos from our online textbook instead of using her own content. she gestures with her mouse at a blank screen when describing something instead of using a platform that she could write on

Do not take this class. I knew most of the material at the beginning of the class so I wasn't worried about her teaching skills. once we had gotten to new material, I think I basically ended up teaching myself EVERYTHING. I had not taken calc in high school so I was screwed. Even if you did take calc, she makes everything confusing.

I will never take her class again and I do not recommend her. She is a kinda person at heart but does not answer any questions, is very unclear, gets very frustrated easily. This class was full of fighting with students and a waster of time as we thought everything to ourselves.

Peterburgsky will not respect you or your needs. She will speak over you if you have questions, and she will not answer your question if she believes it was obvious. She will say something along the lines of "I already explained at the beginning of class so I will not explain again". If I hadn't taken calc in high school I would have failed! -10/10

Please just don't take this class. The worst class I have ever taken. She is rude, hard to understand, doesn't answer our questions. On top of that, the amount of work for this class is ridiculous. It may say it's in-person but she will change to online a week before classes start. She will not turn on her camera but make you turn on yours. the end

I think if the class was in person it would have been better to understand and follow but unfortunately she moved it to online a week before classes started and I could not find a replacement class, this gets to be annoying because we are paying for these courses. She will not answer your questions clearly.

It was switched to online last minute, and let me just say it is nearly impossible to learn math online, especially when the professor never actually shows you how to solve the problems or give any examples that are not on the pre-made slideshow. It was god awful, never again.

First, this class was online. This class was only hard when the professor didn't fully answer everyone's answer. I am a math major and she didn't fully help us, she only gave us examples that made no sense with problems many students were confused about. The classwork did not bump the grades, only the max 2%. Never again with this class.

I ended up teaching myself the majority of the material. She fails to teach, and will only read premade slides that are just screenshots from the textbook. After paying so much money for this credit, you would hope the professor would do more than read textbook you already have access to. Difficult and disappointing to say the least.

Please save yourself and don't take this class. You will regret being in college

She uses a smartboard to teach, which doesn't provide any insight into how to solve a calculus problem whatsoever. She is extremely difficult to understand and doesn't provide any help.

Genuinely the worst professor/teacher I have ever had. She uses Pearson for everything: homework, classwork, quizzes, and even the midterm. Does not know how to use a computer or Canvas. She does not personally grade anything, she does not make her own slides, she does not teach, she does not respond to emails, and she does not respect you.

she reads off the slides and then tells us to just watch videos at home. she does not prepare you for the exams and everything is strictly online. if you tell her you are struggling, she will blame it on you and then tell you to just go to tutoring instead.

expects perfect attendance for an ONLINE summer class without understanding that this is college and people have jobs & that they can't just call out. extremely inconsiderate and rude and is awful at teaching period. all she does is read off slides and fail to mutter a sentence every minute then singles a student out and belittles them. avoid.
