I LOVED Mrs. Coleman! She was the sweetest, most helpful teacher!

Mrs. Coleman is an awesome professor! She is very helpful when you ask her! I took Math 140 and Math 291 with her, and I would take another class with her if I needed to!

defintely knows her stuff. with this course there is a lot of material that you wonder why you have to learn, it's not cool. however, she makes it somewhat interesting. she LOVES to talk and is quite amusing. also, very friendly and helpful.

Mrs. Coleman is awesome, a great teacher, very helpful however EXTREMLY HARD!! If you have taken calc before class would be easier; but very confusing if you havent, but she will go slow to be sure everyone understands.

She was a great teacher. If you feel like you're having trouble GO TO HER OFFICE.. she is the nicest woman and will be more than happy to help you ANYTIME!!!

I really liked Ms. Coleman. She always asks people if they are doing well and takes the time to help IF you dont act like you know more than her. This really ticks her off and she'll pick on you if you do this. Great teacher, def. take her class but remeber YOU'RE the student, not her!

I thought the class (which i believe is now called CTQR 150) was extremely easy, at least it should be for someone being accepted into a university. I think some of the other students got upset she couldn't answer every single student's question IN class, but had no problem meeting outside of class.

Ms. Coleman is a very picky grader. If you take the time to go to Math Lab and her office you will automatically gain brownie points. She is very willing to help you. Advice: Don't get on her bad side. She gives respect if given to her. Some test questions come from class and not the book. Listen.

I think that Mrs. Coleman is a great teacher. She does many examples for each chapter and will answer any questions you have, no matter how long it takes. Pay close attention to the questions she really explains- they will probably be test questions...

She is a cute little old lady who will only be mean to you if you act like you know more than her(which you probably don't). She's willing to help anytime and learns all her students names. No surprises on tests. Take her!

She teaches the class like a high school class room asking the class to help with questions on the board. My personal suggestion is to take this class over at York Tech. Winthrop will pay for it if you are a full time student and it will be a lot easier

Fun, Very Easy, every freshmen should take her CTQR class- but if you can't pass this class then you might as well drop out of college now....:P

I loved this class and I usually hate math! She's really good at explaining everything. If you pay attention and actually DO the homework, its a really easy test. Mrs.C is really nice and is really helpful.

I absolutely love this professor. She is one of my favorites and is so nice outside of class. She explains things well and isn't too difficult. I would take any of her other classes just for fun

Mrs. Coleman at first appears to be very hard, but as you get to know her, your opinion will change. she is always willing to help and her tests are not that bad... you just have to get used to her teaching style. Pay attention in class and you will be fine.

Mrs. Coleman is a really nice lady. She's picky about some things, but once you get to know her quirks, its an easy and fun class.

Gned with Mrs. Coleman is the easiest class you will ever take...she always keeps the convo going and as long as you put your input in then you will make an A...also the writing assignments are really easy.

Sometimes Ms. Iris is kinda flighty, but she knows what she is talking about and is pretty enthusiastic about it.

She breaks things down so they're easy, sometimes too easy, but it's good for those times you don't understand something. I've heard from other people that she's really nice when it comes to explaining things for you.

Coleman's class isn't completely clear all the time, but once you sit down and do a few practice problems, the material makes sense. She is always willing to help her students, even though at times, as one person below said, she can be flighty.

This is a difficult class only because there are some extremely immature students in it who are really not ready for college yet. Ms. C is fairly tolerant of them with the exception of retort, wish she'd boot them from class. My only complaint is that her irritation with these few can spill over when speaking to more serious students.

Very hard, but she will help you out when you need it.

I really liked her. If you are a math person you will do fine. If you arent you will have to study but she expains it and she is always willing to help. She is very nice.

I have taken Mrs. Coleman twice and still i love her teaching ability! she is always willing to help if you take the time to go to her office. The class (math 291) as a whole seemed a little unorganized in it's stucture (i.e. skills test and grading rubric) but Mrs. Coleman is so sweet! Take her! she loves her students :)

Mrs. Coleman is like the grandmother of WU. She attended WU when it was all female and is now back here teaching. She's really nice, and will help anyone out that needs her. If youre having a tough week and need to study for another class or are stressed out, she'll tell you what we're doing in class and tell you not to worry about showing up.

I love this woman! Her's was the first math class I've had in years that I actually understood, and all the topics we covered were completely new concepts to me. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive attitude. Take her!

Amaaaazing!

I hate math and she teaches in a way that I can understand. I always want to fall asleep in math, but she's entertaining so I pay attention. She is so cute and sweet, and she gives all the quizzes as take home quizzes. She is available to come talk to if you need help.

I'm not good at statistics but found this class somewhat enjoyable. It's in your best interest to do the homework, and if you have questions, go to her office and ask her for help. She uses good examples to help you understand the concepts.

Coleman was fantastic. People have said she doesn't explain well or that they have to teach themselves by the book. Maybe that's the usual case, but I never even bought the book, listened in class, wrote down every word and example she used in class, and was making 100+'s on tests. A in the class.

Sweet lady. Failed one of my maths in high school and passed the class with a B+ thanks to her being clear and helpful in her lectures. Her assigned homework may look extremely daunting when you first see it, but it's not that bad, and if you do it you'll definitely learn.

Very sweet, but intimidating. Sometimes she made me feel stupid, whether she intended to or not. A lot of work - way more than was necessary, but I learned a lot. Her exams were very tough, but with hardcore studying, you can earn a good grade on them. No slacking. Be on top of your assignments, study, and you'll do fine.

Ms. Coleman is extremely helpful. She's such a sweet old lady, even though she's a little crazy. But definitely not in a bad way. I would take a class with her again. Math is not my favorite subject, so it's hard for me anyway. But Ms. Coleman helps a lot.

Ms. Coleman is a wonderful teacher who cares about you understanding the material and is more than willing to help. Her classes are pretty entertaining (mainly due to her random stories). I would definitely take classes from her again.

Math has always been hard for me but she is great! Very sweet old lady who tries really hard to keep things interesting and easy. CTQR sucks as a class anyways but she was great with such tough topics. Lots of optional homework...do it! Take home quizzes almost everyday and 4 test! Take her!

Awesome lady. If u do the take home quizes u will learn the material - they add up to a test grade, it's an easy way to get a good test grade.

If you do all the homework problems a few times and go to every class you can make it through calculus. I havent had math in five years and her door was always open for help. Great teacher if your are willing to work for the grade.

Mrs. Coleman really knows her stuff and has been teaching math for a long time. She does a great job explaining the material and providing examples. Funny lady. She sat with me before almost every test to help me prepare. I would recommend her to anyone. This is a hard class no matter who you have but she makes it relatively easy.

I think mrs. coleman was a great teacher. she was funny when she taught the class. there are take home quizzes every week which really helped. Doing homework is a must! do not miss class or you will be behind.

Her test questions might not be "easy" but honestly college calculus was not meant to be easy. She might get a little bit ahead of herself, but she will explain if you ask. She cracks jokes and actually cares if you understand what's going on. You can make it through calculus if you just put in the effort and ask for help.

She's a very good teacher. She knows what she's talking about. As long as you do the homework you should excel.

She's extremely sweet, and if you visit her in her office she is very willing to sit down with you and work through any questions you have. Take home quizes are more difficult than classwork but she prepares you for them if you pay attention in class. Attendance is not necessary, but highly advised if you want to pass the class.

Optional homework. Assigns take home quizzes occasionally for grades. Easy tests. Gets confused sometimes when teaching, but she clears it up. Makes learning simple. This might only be because I like math, but I thought her class was easy, and I would definitely take her again.
