Classwork all you do is listen to his lectures, he shows/explains how to do your homework assignments. If you dont understand the problem just ask for help/speak up and he will explain it until you understand it. All the work comes from the book. Quiz/test/exam are base on your homework.

Dudum says on his first day. Math 90 is not like 60 or 40 and I will not go as easy as with 40 and 60. For math 90 he goes at a really fast speed, he is like 2 chapters ahead of every other professor. Skips small steps thinking you know it from 40 and 60. He is not very avaiable on office hours and he expects too much. Don't take him for math 90!

I took professor Dudum starting all the way from math 40 up until math 110A. He's an amazing professor that genuinely really cares about his students passing. Quizzes every week, and chapter exams. You have to study in order to pass the class. If you're having a tough time he's very approachable and available in office hours. Not a boring class.

Amazing professor! In order to pass 110A attendance is mandatory! Do the assigned hw every night or else you won't get a very good grade. He emphasized this multiple times throughout the semester. Definitely harder on grading quizzes and exams then his lower division math classes, but that's expected b/c it is calculus. Definitely take him!

Every question in class, without flinching, he backs up and reviews what he wrote on the board until the student/class understands and will NOT move forward until he sees that everyone is with him. Dudum is a gift to calc students! His lectures on even the most tedious chapters are really interesting. He is kind, funny, and approachable, and is amazingly gifted at assessing whether or not the class is understanding the concepts, and if not, he will go back and explain down a different route. Lectures are easy to understand, more then happy to answer questions to make sure you understand. There are assignments after each chapter, one quiz each week, three exams, and one final. I really appreciate that CCSF has a wonderful Math teacher like him.

If you're going to take a math course, it better be with Dudum. He is organized, consistent, approachable, knowledgeable, and you can tell he really wants you to understand the concepts. There's a quiz every Friday, end-of-the-chapter tests, and a final. You won't ever regret taking his class.

VERY merciful grader. Can get incorrect answer but still get most of the credit if your setups are mostly correct. He is excellent at distilling down math concepts to exactly what you need to understand to succeed, and making sure the students get the logic behind it as well. Excellent teacher, highly recommend.

Isam is a very good professor, and whether you're great at math or struggle with it I recommend taking him. He's very clear with what he expects of you, and is very generous with his grading, often giving partial credit for setting things up right, or demonstrating the right process of thinking.

Very clear and specific on grading criteria; passionate about mathematics principles by deriving formulas for the class. Lectures compromise of a lot of in-class practice examples. Overall a very kind and caring teacher. Unless you're very self-disciplined and seek rigor, professor Dudum is a great instructor.

Dudum is one of the best teachers I have had in my entire academic career. He has the gift of teaching and has truly mastered it. He is able to take complicated problems and simplify them in a way that every student can understand. If you have any work ethic at all, getting anything lower than a B would shocking. Isam seems a bit new to online teaching, but he was able to pull it off successfully. Isam was always willing to assist with clarifying homework problems, and he graded fairly (and, IMHO, was pretty generous). Attendance was mandatory in the sense that one post per week to the homework forum was required. Overall a pretty easy class.

Isam is amazing. Clear grading criteria, very consistent with the work required every week; 2 homework discussion posts and 1 quiz. Did not feel like 5 units, plus he would send us reminders on Canvas before its due so we dont miss out. Highly recommend him for all math classes.

I took his class during the summer and it went by pretty fast. He was able to give clear lectures and good feedback on your homework assignments whenever you are struggling. There are quizzes once a week and the more you practice solving problems, the better you will do on the weekly quiz. I recommend him to be your Math 90 professor.

A lecture-based class. It's very, very easy to get an A, just go to class and do the HW (neither are graded). Quizzes are weekly but easy. Amazing professor. I hated math for so long and struggled in high school, but prof. Dudum genuinely made precalc my favorite subject and I would 100% take his class again. I actually enjoyed his class so much that it made me confident I could succeed in engineering, and that is my major now. He has super clear criteria for tests and quizzes.

I took him in the spring of 2025, and the class itself was very well-organized. The class is manageable if you put the time and effort into his homework. His quizzes and tests are similar to his homework problems, so as long as you master the homework, you'll do fine on his exams.

Isam Dudum is one of the best Calc 1 teachers at CCSF. The class is straightforward, and if you do the homework, getting a good grade is easy. There are weekly quizzes and three exams. I wish he taught Calc 2 or 3 because I'd take him again. He's also a very fair and easy grader.

Take this professor if u actually want to learn calc. If u pay attention, the material is extremely easy to understand. Homework usually took several hours, so give urself enough time. HW is optional and not graded, but the quiz questions are usually based on the easy HW problems, never the hard ones. Weekly quizzes and 2-3 chapter exams.

Isam Dudum's Calc 1 class was excellent. His lectures were clear, well-paced, and focused on true understanding rather than busywork. There were no homework grades, only quizzes and open-notes tests, which reduced stress and rewarded preparation. Fair, engaging, and very effective.

Prof Dudum is by far the best math prof i've ever had! He's extremely clear about what goes on the exams, detailing exact sections, topics, and # of questions. He has weekly hw quizzes, but they're almost exactly like the hw so just do what he assigns. He's understanding when grading quizzes/exams as they are the only thing going into the grade.
