His lectures include current events and are never boring. You have to read the chapters if you want to pass his class, but his test are not that difficult. I would take him again.

Mr. Dovalina is very easy. I took him 3 times and never bought a book and passed. Reguardless, his lectures are always off topic but the topics he does talk about are very interesting and asks for your opinion.

Brilliant man. Knows and reads a ton, and can effectively articulate ideas and include the class in discussions. Has students contemplate current events and relates them to the topics at hand. One must study the book for particular details for the tests, but questions are straitforward...no tricky games. Wish he taught all psych classes at TAMUKSA.

very nice and easy! he gets off topic most of the class period, but he talks about interesting stuff that is going on in the news. tries to make jokes, but they are corney. gives very few notes, but you dont really need them. study and memorize vocabulary and you will pass every test. i promise! =] if you go to class.. you will pass.

Very easy class. Gives study guides that tell you exactly what will be on the tests. I would have liked to have learned more though. We talked alot of current events. He's very nice and helpful.

Dovalina is a nice guy who is funny but off topic most of the time. Once we get on topic we suddenly lose him again. Its a little funny but mostly annoying to me that I cannot get in real conversation about Psychology, which is the reason I am there. The test is easy though and if you are looking for a "gravy" class, this is it!

This class is amazing I took t as a requirement for my degree plan but this professor made it so interesting that I have now chose to dual in psychology. Get the book!!!! And it will guarantee an A keep in mind u have to read it lol the study guides he provides are in depth and help tremendously

Class is very easy. VERY EASY. But I learned nothing and I had a genuine interest in the subject. No homework, no papers, just him going on and on about his own sex life. He also thought that lesbians couldn't get AIDS. I'm not joking. This class sucked. Easy A but I regret wasting my time on it.

He did seem to get off topic a lot, but it all came together with the topic. Just pay attention. He gives study guides for the exams so that's cool.

He was a cool understanding professor. I've had issues in the past and he is always willing to help out. Got off topic a lot but seems to always connect it back to the chapter in an interesting. His tests are usually multiple choice, easy, and he gives you a study guide. Attendance is like 5% of your grade so, don't miss often or come late a lot.

Dovalina is a super layed back teacher. He doesn't stay on topic ever! I enjoyed it because I enjoyed an easy A class but it concerns me because I'm a psychology major. He gives study guides which are exactly like the tests and he literally showed the class the final to study for it! I really enjoyed what I did learn and hes SUPER sweet and helpful

He is a great teacher and story teller just like Mr Aguirre so it makes sense that they are friends. As long as you participate, study vocabulary, and show up for class, this will be an easy class to pass!

Study guides are provided a week before exam , easy exams

This class is no longer being taught by Mr. Dovalina, we did small lectures on information in the class, but we mostly discussed things going on in Hollywood or on TV. He gave us 4 total take-home tests. Very very easy teacher and easy class.

Does get off topic ALOT. Gives a review of the test prior to taking it. The good apart about the review is that it is the same exact thing as the test. Tests are clear to understand. Lectures aren't the best. Easy professor to take.

He is a super funny professor, and I looked forward to this class more than any of my others. He doesn't care about grades - he cares about his students wanting to learn what he has to offer, and if you do you will pass the class. Study guides are literally the exact same as the test. One paper (easy) the whole semester.

I loved the class and the professor. As long as you go to class, you will pass. You only take about 4-5 tests, but they are very easy. As long as you study, you will pass with an A. He gets off topic, but it's okay. The conversation makes the class more interesting.

He is a Nice teacher, text book online, NO assignments ONLY 5 or 6 Chapter Tests, talks a lot, wont learn much, off topic a lot, gives helpful study guides for test(take notes, fill in vocab definition), attendance wont matter at END of semester, do not take if you actually want to learn, EASY EASY class, get Scranton cheers youll need them.

I enjoyed his class, and I learned a lot. I recommend this class, easy A+. Professor is very caring and wants everyone to pass. Do not pass him up! TAKE HIS CLASS! Only 5 tests and the study guides are exactly what the test are.

The book is free and online. He's a good teacher but he tends to go off-topic a lot. If you are planning to learn a lot in class, most of it is at home and all you need to do is get the vocab off the book and those are the test.

Professor Dovalina is a very kind teacher. He talks off-topic a lot about everything from Ariana Grande to tattoos. He gives great advice and is an easy-going person. I remember only having 2-3 tests just based on vocabulary throughout the entire class. Btw, whoever said he is a "creep" is extremely rude. Dovalina simply doesn't deserve that.

He goes off topic way too much. The whole lecture is just him talking about random stuff. You don't even have to show up to his class only to take the test, which is easy since everything is based off the review. The exact same thing. Other than that, he's actually a nice person.

The only issue I had with him was that he does not use canvas and he gets off topic a lot so he talks about a lot of random things that have nothing to do with the subject but he will make you laugh

Really easy class. He does get off topic but it makes class more interesting and fun. All you really need is the text book to pass the class. Read each weeks chapter and you'll 100% pass. At the end of every week all we have is one discussion and 10 question quiz, easy A++.
