Didn't think I was going to like this class, but Dr. Sanz ended up becoming one of my favorite professors. LIN130 is filled with interesting assignments and he's definitely one of the kindest professors. Take this class if you need an elective. You will not regret it.

Without a doubt, Dr. Sanz is one of my favorite professors. He obviously LOVES teaching, and he is funny in class. He makes the material easy to understand, and got me interested in linguistics. He likes it when you ask questions and participate in class, and never shoots down your ideas or comments. Solid and fair professor, highly recommended.

Professor Sanz is very engaging in class and always had good examples for us if we were ever stuck on a concept. His slideshows and teaching was very thorough. He's very passionate about what he teaches which helped me become more motivated. Also very funny.

Dr. Sanz is a fantastic professor! He assigns a lot of homework, but gives clear instructions and is very helpful and attentive when students need help or ask questions. He cares about his classroom, and has an organized D2L page which I appreciated. Very sweet and humorous, I would recommend him to anyone needing gen eds/major requirements!

Dr. Sanz is one of the best teachers on campus for online classes. LIN 230 is one of the most organized and clear online classes I have taken, and the amount of work is manageable every week. He is always accessible when needed and replies to emails promptly. I would recommend him for any linguistics class if you need to take one.

Dr. Sanz is amazing!! He genuinely cares about his students and he also organizes his D2L site super well so it's easy to navigate. I learned a lot from his class and thought it was well structured, even though there was a lot of work sometimes.

I did not like this class whatsoever. I took it as a gen ed and it was the most work I've ever received so far as a college student. At times it was interesting but the work load is insane. I have only ever gotten one C in my life and this was my second. If you take this as a gen ed don't, you can find an easier class!

I took Dr. Sanz-Sanchez´s class during winter break online as a gen ed requirement and it has been so far one of my favorite subjects on campus. I learnt a lot about different aspects of linguistics, and the course modules were easy to follow. He gave me good feedback on the assignments. Take him if you can.

Easy A but you learn little, and do not want to study the subject any more. At times he is nice, until he swings moods. Never know what is next
