Easy in the begining but the pace picks up; He gives reviews before each exam
Excellent teacher and a natural comedian. Gives:Reviews and Help
Great teacher...
His tests are very easy and he explains things clearly
sweet guy, always willing to explian things
Funny, expectations and tests very clear, negotiation is encouraged on grades
A comedian...jokes a lot...but his english is not that good and his notes suck
No Comments
review sessions are great right before test. funny guy
yes or no? I think I'm right... get used to hearing that ALOT!
He is lazy. He usually states that he will offer a final exam at the end of the semester but he does not keep his promise because of his laziness. He threats students about final exam so that they change their minds.
lectures boring as hell, but the class is good overall
Fried cracked me up. He is so funny and he is very willing to give extra help outside of class.
pre-test reviews are VERY helpful and he is entertaining. goes over content at a comfortable pace.

Hard to understand with his accent. Unclear examples. Review sheets typically do not cover material from test.
He goes over a ton of material and then puts other things on the exam. He is very available outside of class though.
He has a thick accent and often pulls numbers out of nowhere, and can't explain where they came from. It's confusing. I rely on the discussion classes to pass.
He has a thick accent that takes getting used to and he can be confusing at times, but his class is HILARIOUS and he's a great guy to boot.
Calculuuuuuus. Sometimes hard to understand, sometimes he doesn't even understand what he's saying, but very helpful and fair.

perfect !!! learn math from him he has time for you any time
he's really funny....
Very Easy class. didnt go to one discussion and still aced the class. Test were all based on the hw. Just go to the review the night before the test and your straight.
Find yourself another Calc professor. He isnt clear and goes off on tangents. Don't take his class!
There is a definite language barrier. Understandable, but distracting. Class is straightforward. He tends to complicate ideas more than they need to be.
fairly easy class.. gets to be complicating as days go by. he's a very funny man. students laugh a lot during his class. but the TA seems to be more helpful than the professor.
yes or no? yes or no? This was a funny class to go to, and the time went by fairly fast. It's a good class to take if you ALREADY KNOW calc. If this is your first time with it, find another professor for sure. Not the easiest class. I dropped
Don't take unless you already know calc, there seems to be two crowds in class, those who get it and do great, and those who horrably fail, little inbetween. I find him unbelievably unclear and confusing. Personally, I think its terrible.
he once related chicken traps to calculus.. hard to understand him most of the time and talks quickly. i def learned everything from the tf. might as well not have even gone to the lectures. only plus is he'll make you laugh.
you need to know calculus before taking this class. plus at office hours he yells at kids who don't understand what's going on in class instead of helping.
You really DONT HAVE TO KNOW CALC before you take this....it's ture that he's not that clear, but tests are EASY....as long as you show up for class, you should do well
i LOVE FRIED!! Yes or no!?! kinda hard to understand, but class is hilarious and he's very amusing! i wish he was my grampa. tests are exactly like the hw. not very clear. should know calc before you take him. go to discussion to learn from the TF.
Don't take Fried unless you already know Calc. He never talks about math, and if he doesn't, you can't understand him. Be prepared to do all the studying on your own, unless you get a good Tf
Very easy class...homework is exactly like lecture; test is exactly like homework. But he doesn't curve, so you get what you get on the exams. Final is optional, no book required. Good class!
I already had Calculus so this class was pretty easy. Homework is optional (the TF does it for you) and biweekly tests make up your grade. Pretty much gives you the test with different numbers the night before--very nice! Easy grade, no book. funny guy
easy class but make sure you study for the biweekly tests.
Easy A, if you took any calc in high school, even one semester. But if you didnt get the basic concepts of Calc then I suggest not to take him because he will not go through it very clearly, quizzes exactly like hmwk. and overall funny guy
You should have some understanding of calc before taking this class. He lives in his own world of Calculus. Funny and charming but he listens no one and does whatever he wants period no arguments. yes or no?
This man is CRAZY. If you have a little calculus background you will do fine in the class as long as you show up and do the homework and ask the TF questions! He's really hard to understand and makes really easy problems complicated.
Took his linear algebra class in 1994. Very clear lectures and fair exams. Book handouts were annoying...I hope he finally published his book so students don't have to deal with all those loose pages...
Best Math prof. I ever had. Very helpful, go to reviews, he basically does the whole exam the night before.
Had no calc background, so this class was really difficult. He teaches his own world of calc, and does so poorly. I would reccomend against this class unless you already know calc. Hard to understand, doesn't take questions...all around lousy.
he's a funny guy. Don't take the class if you think it's like highschool, b/c guess what? DUH IT'S NOT ONLY COLLEGE, IT'S BU! No final, no curve. 7bi-weekly tests. DO (not copy) the homework and you should be fine.
had him 1st term, not easy to follow, follows his own pile of weird notes, tests every 2 weeks and is like hw with a twist, no final (unless you do really badly all term) and no curve on tests,is funny, YES or NO? Accent cool-Israeli/French/German
Goes over things very quickly and never answers questions clearly. Hard to keep up if you haven't taken calc, but TFs are helpful. Make sure you UNDERSTAND the hw and you should be fine. Be sure to do well on the first test, it's the only easy one!
If you took cal in hs u will get a A . but if u didnt u will have a very hard time. He thinks everyone knows calulus. You will have to do alot of learning by urself if you havent taken calulus before. And i recomm if u never taken cal to buy the bk
Prof Fried is always at his office to help. He is willingly to tutor at his office hours even longer. He is not hard at all as long as you do the homework. you can always have a make up for his tests!
Gives questions on exams for topics he hasnt covered, hands out ridiculous notes which make no sense, poor teacher, terrible examples, rammbles, does not understand student's questions. I basically had to teach myself numerical analysis.
This guy is ridiculous. Starts a sentence, then expects someone in class to finish it even though he gives no hints as to what the end of the sentence should be! Weird accent, 'cept when he asks "YES or NO?" which is funny. Rambles irrevalen
Fried is so funny, the class is easy if you know calc if not then you're screwed cause he thinks we all know it like he does...good luck
Good luck! If you didn't know calc before you walked in the door, hire a tutor now! You will learn nothing from his lectures and there are no books! Go to discussion and pray your TF is helpful. His tests are not that easy either. The first one is...don't be fooled by that one!
"It's a good idea to come on time!" <-- He's not foolin'! Extremely entertaining, fairly batty guy. Tends to rush through things, so take good notes and review them after class. If you're willing to work (do the HW, go to discussion/reviews) then it's really not too hard, just clearcut mathematics.
Fried is hillarious. A good class: Yes or No! He is not clear at all during lecture, speeds through material, but is willing to help you in his office hours. If you can teach yourself math, go to the lectures, and do the homework you can get an easy A. FINAL IS OPTIONAL; NO MIDTERMS; only 7 tests.
This guy is rude and ignorant. He refuses to answer your questions and if you are stuck on material, he treats you as if you are an idiot. His teaching style is so bad that even my graduate school math tutor cannot understand it what we are doing. I cannot believe this guy is a professor. he is bad!
Class really isn't that bad. Yes, he is a little bit out there, but the class over-all is easy. Tests are exactly like the homework. He even holds review sessions the night before the test to go over problems on the test. No final or midterm. Again, really not that hard.
Very entertaining but a horrible teacher. The test are exacly like homework so if you understand the homework there is no possible way to not get an A.
You have no idea what the hell he is saying 1. because of his 3,000 accents blended into one and 2. because he confuses himself more often that you can. Not very clear, rushes through a lot of information, tests are worth everything so don't screw up. Don't take this if you haven't had calc before.
Do your work, and get help if you don't understand things. If you know what you're doing in the homework, then the tests are a piece of cake. He's hilarious. I love his randomness, accent, and stupid jokes! "It's like cutting a piece of cake. One person holds the knife and the other holds the gun."
Don't take this class unless u've taken calc in high school ~ the 1st month may seem easy but starting from the 2nd test it gets bad ~ he cannot explain anything ~ u teach ur self~ he doesn't really want to help u in office hours + prefers u to see the TF ~ no final exam required ~ do the hmw
AWESOME MAN HELPS A STUDENT OUT WHEN THEY NEED HELP. ONE OF THE BEST AT BU. HIS CLASS IS VERY EASY, ALL U HAVE TO DO IS DO THE HOMEWORK AND ATTEND THE CLASSES. THE PRIVATE TUTORS ARE ALSO GREAT ESP THE INDIAN GIRL. SHE IS THE BEST. RECOMMEND THIS CLASS!!!
"I want you to appreciate my ability of drawing a perfect tangent line." "Yes, you close the door very quietly and very good, but next time come on time." "Liiiim..." "Lan..." "(to the students) what will you ask me? you will say to me, professor, please keep going! it gets so intersting from here!"
very unclear, does not understand his students' questions
This guy is nuts..he spent what seemed like forever explaining tangent lines and parabolas then taught (in a very unclear way) the important material towards the end of the semester. I wasn't a huge fan of calculus before but I hate it now...
If you are premed and taking other difficult classes, do not take this class. The material is not hard, but you do need time to practice. If you are taking Orgo, Bio and this class..it is not a good combination. Take this class only if you have a thourough previous knowledge of calculus.
Definitely a very entertaining guy but an AWFUL professor. Half the time you can't understand him. First test is awesome, easy 100, but it's all downhill from there, don't let the beginning fool you. VERY rude and not helpful in office hours. If you haven't taken calc before, good luck.
Funny guy. He speaks with accent, but it will be ok cuz U will get used to it. Easy~ Easy~ class. Very easy to get A
Fried teaches as if you already have some kind of knowlege of calc. so don't expect to learn anything. Avg. test grades were really low so there must have been a generous curve, otherwise half the class would have failed. Make sure you have a good TF.
WORST TEACHER EVER. If you have any prior knowledge of calc, you will want to kill yourself in his class. He has the most bizarre method of teaching calc, I've never experienced anything like it. And he's not funny. Or helpful. He SUCKS!!!!!!!!
very interesting class and a huge eye opener, bad thing is the exams are only 1 question....BUT OVERALL GREAT MAN....YES!!!!
Easy if you already had some calc in HS, but his notes and classes can be confusing at times. He is not effective in answering questions.
VERY CLEAR AWESOME GUY REALLY CARES ABOUT HIS STUDENTS...EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A MATH MAJOR TRY TAKING THIS CLASS IT IS QUITE INTERESTING AND EASY.
This dude is crazy! I went to every lecture, discussion, and review yet somehow never do well. I didn't get a tutor because I thought I was doing well. That cost me big! Avoid him at all costs! You will fail and your GPA will go DOWN!
One of the strangest professors I've ever taken. He comes off a little nuts which makes his lectures hugely entertaining even though I'm pretty sure that he doesn't mean them to be. Very high class average- easy course.
Worst professor i have had to date. Not helpful in clarifying topics, and rather dismissive. He teaches by rambling on about the topic as if you have already taken the class and should know what he is talking about. Hard to deal with and everyone always appears lost. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!
Prof. Fried is the Craziest Professor I have ever had!!! I LOVED going to his class..but make sure you don't talk during class or he'll point at you and say NO TALKING..but it's HYSTERICAL....if you go to his office hours, he'll tell you all the exam problems and exactly how to do them! If you have to take Calc..DEF. take this class...although you might be a little screwed if you have to take Calc 2!
so funny in class..laugh out loud..pretty simple concepts as a whole
He started to become funny at the end of the semester. His tests were long and he is not a good teacher. He doesn't really explain how to do problems. His notes are meant for a mathematician. He was funny at times but he was still a horrible teacher.
Not clear, English is less than perfect and makes learning new concepts very tough, trails off his sentences but b/c of his English/lack of knowledge of calc its hard to figure out what he means, tests have basic concepts but are unnecesarily difficult, its like doing 2 + 2 on the homework and 57493.986 + 58300128 on the test.
He is a really nice and funny man but at times, I wonder why he makes rather simple concepts so difficult. If you do homework, go to lectures and discussion, you will probably get a B+ but for some reason, little mistakes cost you on exams and you miss an A. Class is based only on 7 exams (no midterm or final) that are 100pts each. No curve!
A funny professor and interesting if he wasn't teaching CALC. Quite confusing and difficult to understand b/c of the heavy accent. The class was not pleasant at ALL. I dislike Math anyway.
really difficult to understand and concepts are made very complicated. questions on quizzes seem like the ones from the homework but they're usually a lot more difficult and one step will throw you entirely off.
worst teacher i have ever had in my life. ranmbles about god knows what in an accent that makes it impossible to even understand. what does bu have against english-speaking teachers?
Professor Fried is kind of weird and lectures can be entertaining because of the strange remarks he makes. The class is very easy and he will raise your grade if you go to office hours.
He made the subject unecessarily difficult. If you have already taken calculus before, its not bad. He is pretty difficult to understand sometimes and for the first week was talking about zero and negative numbers for some reason. The tests aren't terrible, but they strayed from the notes a little bit. Study more from the book.
He is terrible, lives in his own world of calculus. Don't take this class if you have not taken calculus before. Good luck taking this class because you are going to need it.
Probably the easiest “A” I’ve gotten at BU (speaking as a senior/person who never took any calculus before). He is strange and lives in his own world, but that is NO REASON for anyone to do badly in his class. Tests are easy, straight forward, and EXACTLY like the homeworks. I know plenty people who got “A”s in this class.
He is terrible, switch out if you can
Very funny man with a penchant for ridiculous tangents but often leaves the math concepts unexplained. Despite the ease of the day to day class, exams don't always follow lectures and are harder than homework problems. No homework graded, no mid-term or final, no curve. Yes or no?
He is really enthousiastic about calculus and knows his stuff, but he doesnt really explain concepts at all. the TF is the only reason i understood the material. theres no graded homeworks or a final, but there are 7 tests and teh final grade is the average. his tests are supposedly like his homeworks, but they are way harder.
Very cool teacher. Love the accent. Pronunciation usually gets a good laugh =) Loves to teach and is helpful out of class. I'd recommend going to TF, she'll be more available and a lot more helpful. He allows using lecture packet during lecture, but not that hard to cheat by writing examples or formulas there. Go to exam reviews. DO THE H/W!!!!!!!!
Lives in his own little calc world. Does math problems during spare time for fun on the side of the board (no joke). Knows calc inside out; notes are hard to understand. He teaches methods, not concepts. Accent is not that big of a deal; its endearing, yes? Expects kids to finish his sentences & likes to randomly change ppls seats during the tests.
I loved Fried for his enthusiasm and his accent. I never touched the book and he gave 7 hws which we went over in discussion with Eleanor (the best!). His exams were very similar to his hws and there was no final. I got an A in the class and barely did any work. Note: You must know your algebra because it makes you more efficient on exams.
Fried has taught over 100 semesters at BU, knows what he's doing. Im bad at math, and still got a B in this class; he makes it so much easier and will def. help you if he sees you struggling (even if you're too shy to ask for help). In a nutshell, Me: "Prof. Fried, how was your weekend?" IF: "Wonderful! Full of calculus!" Life revolves around calc.
7 tests, all of them count, and no curve. He's HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting and informative. He teaches the class with his own examples, and never bothers to touch the textbook. Grades fairly, with about 10-12 questions on the test. Although it's difficult to get an A, almost everyone falls in the B range. Overall, a great, great learning experience! :)
Definitely do not recommend him if you haven't taken calculus before. He uses his own methods of approaching calculus problems so if you miss class, it's hard to catch up. Useless class, I feel like I haven't learned anything, although he is a very funny and enthusiastic professor.
Although he makes calculus harder than it actually is, he is very lenient towards students' interests. He once had office hours with me on a Saturday afternoon because I was worrying about my grade and he ended up giving me the benefit of the doubt. He acknowledges hard work if you go to his office hours.
Class is fairly easy if you have taken calculus before. Tests based solely on his lectures and are like the homework with more difficult numbers. Go to office hours! Extremely funny during lectures. He has an accent, but it isn't hard to understand.
He's really not funny. He NEVER uses the book! or does anything w/ sin, cos, tan etc... He tries to get everyone to come to his office hours, but once u go u have to wait in line for him to look at ur work and he always says "it seems rt" because he doesn't ever have the answers.Don't let the first test fool u,the class gets harder.
He's HILARIOUS, yes, true. His accent is anyway, and you get a good laugh during lecture. Are his tests like the HW? Sure.. only MUCH harder. Do you have a chance of a good grade? Sure, if you are a great test taker cuz that's your only grade! He does NOT teach only Calc I subjects! Harder than other MA 121 teachers!!
Perhaps the worst professor at BU. He teaches calculus is a convoluted, confusing way and gives ridiculously hard HW/tests. Avoid him at all costs.
If you have prior knowledge of calculus, this is the course to take to get an A. His tests are exactly like his homework (which he doesn't collect), although sometimes he makes it a bit trickier. He does have an accent, but he's funny or even silly sometimes!
Gives 7 non-cumulative exams, which is great for keeping up and improving your average if you do poorly on one. He gives non-graded HW which are similar to the exams. Review sessions the night before the exams. Exams usually have 1-4 problems on them that are much harder than anything presented in class/HW. Gives no conceptual basis.
Hate his way of teaching- very vague!
His class is disorganized and difficult to follow. His teaching style is strange and not like any calculus I've taken before. Tests are like hw but much harder. The only way to do well is to go to his office hours where he is actually mildly helpful. If you do take the class, (which i don't recommend), DON'T buy the text book. We haven't used it.
He is hard to follow if you've never taken calculus before. He is entertaining, but is an unclear teacher. Don't take him if you're not naturally good at math.
Fried is a good guy, but hard to follow in class. Don't bother going to lecture, just go to multiple discussion sections/office hours to really learn the material. He often obfuscates Calculus in the Lectures by making things more complicated than they seem to be. Very entertaining and funny, but not very useful if you have not taken Calculus.
This guy is a unique one. He is very passionate about math and is very funny. His lectures are extremely fast and can be easy to get lost. Though he will meet with you after class and explain everything very clearly to you.
Really loves math, but expects you to as well. I tutored his MA121, and if math is not your thing, he is not your guy. I liked him tho. He is a pro at numerical analysis and is one hell of a thinker. Not always the clearest, but in the end he really knows what he is talking about
DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK! Told us on first day to return it if we could. Uses his notes (online) and you can take them to tests; also gives homework that he writes himself. Very easy, hilarious guy, but hard to follow if you can't understand his accent (heard he's from Israel? Thought his accent was French.) Go to discussion - very helpful for test
HILARIOUS, if you get his humour. And accent. But EXTREMELY EASY CLASS. Just put in the effort because the homework and the tests are pretty much the same damn thing. It may be boring. But just remember, don't buy the damn textbook.
can be a little intimidating but he's a very nice person if you are patient and come to office hours. he's also very funny too!
Wait for the tiger analogy!
Professor Fried is never late, he arrives precisely when he means to.
To be honest I don't recommend taking this class at all. Not only is he hard to understand, but he never really explains himself and just talks to himself. Some tests are super hard and even if you know the material fairly well. He puts in a lot of annoying little tricks and seems like he tries to trip student up on purpose. His accent is funny tho
Taking this course with him is my biggest regret of the semester. The class itself is dry and unclear, and he lost my final exam and forced me to retake it after I had thrown out everything and planned my study schedule around my other exams. I went to every discussion and still feel like I know nothing more about calculus.
He is very helpful in office hours! Tests are easy and homework is the least that I have never seen before! Listening is a little bit hard for international students in the beginning but you will be accustomed to it after 2-3 classes. Also, he is funny! BTW, the TF in the discussion course is very helpful!
Professor Fried is a great professor. He is super intelligent and undoubtedly in love with calculus. While he is somewhat unclear during his lectures and tends to go on irrelevant tangents, his class is extraordinarily easy. "You do the homework good" and you'll certainly do well!
My only complaint is his accent, he seems very intimidating at first but if you show him you are willing to put in the work, and come to office hours he tries very hard to make sure you get the material! His office hours are great and extremely helpful. There were a few twists on the test that were hard but nothing overwhelming.
Okay so I started out the year thinking maybe I could make it through Calc. The first test was easy and I thought it was a joke. From there on out though things got hard. I went to class, went to discussion, went to review sessions, had someone tutor me and STILL may have failed the class (not sure his grading scale doesn't go below a C).
Very good course, because I only went to one class ;)
A nice man and a good professor.
He's an adorable professor; he will make you laugh at how in his own world he is. The class is easy in that the tests are similar to the HW and there is no final, but like I said, he's in his own world. If you don't get him, you don't get him. I had to teach myself this whole semester in order to pass.
He's obviously a genius and for whatever reason insists on teaching calc in the most complicated way possible. He's really smart and the class is really easy. Have fun teaching yourself everything though.
Would have been an easy class if I didn't have to teach myself everything. Boring and had a really hard time understanding him, I'd recommend taking the course with someone different.
MA121 with Fried is WAY easier than with any of the other professors. His exams are like the homework, but with larger numbers. If you don't prepare in advance and don't go to his office for extra problems you won't do well. He basically designs the class for you to succeed, but you can't be lazy about it
Asking him questions is a nightmare. He doesn't listen to what you're asking and instead yells over you to make his point that has nothing to do with your question. He makes calculus as complicated as possible and spends the entire class explaining why calculus is the way it is rather than actually teaching it. I learned everything from the TA.
Doesn't use a textbook, so some of the lessons/homeworks are very confusing. Attending office hours is a must. He's incredibly helpful if you show him that you care.
Fried is a pretty decent teacher. Though he comes off unclear during lecture, his office hours are more personal and he's willing to stay after class to help you with homework or going over your test. Just use the methods he teaches in class (not ones from hs). He wants people to pass and will let you retake tests so you can improve your grade.
he is the best math professor in bu. take his class, do his homework , go to office hours and you'll do absolutely well.
He is one of the nightmares in MATH department. Honestly. He cannot explain anything.
He's very confusing and grouchy, but the class is structured in a way that it's easy to do pretty well. Tough to get an A though, as you have to do well on every test. Yes or no?
Thick accent made him impossible to understand. I don't really mind, I've had some good professors with thick accents. The problem is that he sometimes forgets to show his work, so you really can't figure out what's going on. Online textbook isn't helpful. And you can't get your questions answered in office hours because its usually packed.
Great man, has interesting facts to tell. His tests are similar to the homework. Teaches the concept in class, but you have to go over it to understand what he is doing. He is available during his office hours and the student TAs are very helpful at understanding the homework.
very straightforward and there really is no reason to do well as you have every opportunity to get help. tests are exactly like the homework, no cumulative exams, printout available with all the course notes. maybe 3 people went to my discussion section so if you complain about a bad grade and don't go to that you're really the only one to blame
Terrible professor, not fit to teach. The averages grades in his class are appalling, no curve is added either.
The best professor out there if youre looking for a very chill nice guy, knows his material very well, and the lowest anyone got in his class was a B, which by the way should never happen. Do the homework (which by the way he does not check), and you will guarantee at least an A-
Goes over homework excessively then changes the material on the exam. He leads you to believe the if you go to lecture and do the homework the class is easy but it is horribly false. Also can't really hear/chooses to hear what he wants which makes it impossible to ask questions and actually receive a helpful answer.
This is unlike any class I've taken at BU. No textbook, all lectures and handouts. Being in class is a huge help, as he gives lots of hints about test questions and how to do the homework. If you carefully pay attention to how he wants things done, the tests and homework are doable. He's a quirky guy who cares more about learning than evaluation.
Essentially, he disregards the normal calculus rules/ways to do problems. Don't do it his way, you will do poorly. His lectures are not too good, he does not explain things too well and often goes on random tangents. Go to his office hours for sure, I will give him credit there and that he does a good job explaining concepts in office hours.
He gives homework that is "just like the test" but he makes the exams much harder than they need to be. He says to come to the office, but the office is always overcrowded with students because of his inability to explain during the lectures. The teaching fellow does not attend the lecture, making the discussion section useless.
7 TESTS over the semester. There's a test every 2 weeks. Heavy accent.
Workload is not heavy. his lecture is not very useful cuz he doesn't explain things clear. Homework is optional. There're 7 tests, and the results of those tests are straightforwardly average to your final grade. If you go to his office hours, you would 100% do well in the tests.
Very easy class. Homework is optional. Grade is an average of 7 exams, all of which are easy. He goes over the content on the exam the day before. Did not have a final. Lectures are sometimes chaotic and I don't know where he is going with them. Often messes up and asks students to double check his work. Heavy accent. I'd take again. Got a 95%
Some students blamed his incapability to explain his lecture and I admit that, but he often uses some simple examples to make you understand difficult concepts. Connect with your friends on Meechu or text and go to his office hours. Do his example questions and optional light homework and you will get an A in the exam.
There are 7 tests for this class but they are relatively simple and homework relevant, so no need to worry about it. However, professor Fried 's lecture was confusing sometimes. Make sure paying attention in class and do his optional homework(send it to him to confirm it is correct), then you will be good on the test.
He is definitely my favorite math professor in BU.
He is very happy to talk to students. He can explain some difficult problems in a very simple and understandable way
Professor Fried cares about each student's score and their mastery of the knowledge.
Love him!! This class is truly made for success. The class contains 7 tests, all very similar to the example questions in lectures.
Professor Fried has a unique teaching style, but engaging with it pays off. Tests are fair if you attend class, read the notes, and use unstuck ai for study prep. An overall solid math class.
He genuinely cares about your grades. Go to his office hours before the exam and you will definitely do well.
