Their are many words that can explaine the dedication for professor Dole. He is very helping anytime with the course. He wants his students to reach their goals.

He is a really cool teacher and he's extremely nice, and his work is easy, but you have to make sure you have time because he makes you read like 15 pages a night!

Excellent professor if you are willing to complete all assignments and homework!.. Very helpful and fun! Highly recommended!

He is a good teacher, very helpful and will be there when you need him. A lot of hw though, you have to do a presentation of the book your reading at the end of the semester, an easy class if you do your hw and pay attention in class. Recomend it.

Took his class for DREAD 93. He did what he had to do and his teaching made me pass to College Level English. Easy class all you have to do is complete his classwork and his homework and you will pass with an A. Simple stuff but yeah you do have to do them.

I was in his 091 & 093 combined lecture class Spring'11. Most teachers just read from teacher's manual, but he actually explains things in a way that's easy to understand. He is really flexible and by just following his instructions, before I even knew it my reading skills had really improved a lot. Just trust him if you want to succeed.

I really enjoyed developmental reading. Mr. Dole took reading to a whole other level. I was taught a method of deciphering what you read and make it fun. My teacher really challenges his students to make them the best they can be. Here's a shout out to the HOT TEACHER.

I took Develop Reading 0091 & 0093 in the spring and Summer 1 semester. His reading skills were very helpful to me I thought I wasn't going to do well in his class at all. The reading lab and work we did was very easy to understand. I recommend you take his class. Make sure you come to class because his class is fun. You will love this professor.

He is a great instructor,he wants his students to succeed. His class is designed for students to pass. The homework is reasonable, it won't take up a lot of your time.Show up for class, do your homework and you should have no problem passing.

Since this was my first time in college, I think things went pretty well in the class. If you come in and do what your suppose to do, like a job, then things will be OK. He exudes friendliness and helpfulness and seems to care about students in his class.

Prof. Dole was definitely a great teacher to have. He helps his students and is a great motivator. English was never really my subject, but this class completely changed my perspective. I went from DIRW-0305 to ENG 1301 in just one semester! Anything is possible with hard work and a good teacher.

Best teacher I have ever had. At the beginning I was scared because English is not my first language (plus I had to go to work after classes and I was taking 4 more courses) but I got an A. He gives you tools and all that you have to do is use them. Be responsible. Go to class, read your novel, and do your assignments. That is all.

I was nervous about taking this class but the professor was extremely helpful. Participation is encouraged and you will do a lot of writing, but if you want to learn I would recommend you take this class with Mr. Dole because he will help you all the way through.

Took this class during Summer II and we had a paper to write each week, including midterm and final. Overall, the class was very tough, however, he's always willing to help. Prof. Dole is an amazing educator. I went into his class hating writing and expecting to skate by with the bare minimum requirements to pass. He shows so much passion for not only his work, but the success of his students. He's a realistic guy and understands that people have lives outside of school. I had to miss a few classes because of lack of childcare and he was completely understanding. If you put in the work, don't slack off, and show that you truly care about your progress, he will do everything to help you succeed.

Professor Dole has designed the class in really nice way. If you do the work you will get an A. Even if you are not a good writer, you will at least get a B if you do the assignments.

Apply yourself. The grade is earned through progress in your assignments. If you want a passing grade you will have to make appointments with the writing center tutors to correct revised work. If you are planning on transferring to a university he would be your best choice.

Professor Dole took a different approach to English 1301, he incorporated the necessary fundamentals of the course but added his touch to it. He had our class think. We were able to flex our minds in ways we have never been asked to do nor have to write about. It brought out my creativity side that I thought was lost in my yester years. Amazing

Honestly I would have not done so well if he had not took time to respond to my emails and answer my questions. He is a fair grader who gives you great feedback. If I had to describe Professor Dole, I would say he is firm, but he is also fair. He gives good feedback as to how improve your work which I highly appreciated. For my first class at North Lake College for english he is the best for english.

Professor Dole will give you the grade you earn but he is not an unreasonable man. If you focus on your studies and put in real effort he will put in an effort on your behalf. You will learn more in this English 1301 class than ones similar. We were on a tight schedule but he wouldn't move on until everyone was ready. Also, he's pretty funny.

I have my first college class with him. He is wonderful! Yes you have to do 4 essays but he get you there by his guide. he never go out of topic. for writing your essay you should go through some steps which is useful! he put his time with you to check your essay which will help you to have a polish final draft. Professor Ivan is really an amazing professor, even though i took him online, he answered and helped me through email and for this class you have to do the work on time and make sure you follow the rubrics and examples given because that is going to make up your grades, he gives feedback on the essay and i enjoyed his class very much

Professor Dole was incredibly efficient at teaching the writing process. Aside from the weekly discussion, there were only a few assignments. The instructions for each essay are available in advance, so planning around your homework is easy. I took the 16 week course, so I had plenty of time to write all of my essay's and edit them.

I took professor Dole's class my first ever semester in college. I've never been a great writer or much into English but, he made the class very informative and fun. Work is from a textbook, a handful of essays, and some analysis work. Very caring for all his students, wants everyone to succeed.

I loved Professor Dole's class. I took him for the summer term and there were 3 essays, 5 journals, and some discussion boards. The book is available on a PDF so you do not have to buy it. This was an online class, I wish he had given more feedback. The feedback he did provide was educational.

Professor Dole is always willing to help with assignments (that does not mean he'll give you answers, but he will definitely point you in the right direction.) He responds quickly to emails. He is strict on due dates and does not allow late papers but assignments are given well ahead of time. Work in advance and late papers should not be an issue.

This dude is AMAZING! Be prepared to write! You will be provided with materials and sources to help you succeed throughout this course so don't worry. The only "Con" I have is that he does take a little longer then most teachers when it comes to grading, but he grades very precise and takes pride in grading so its worth the wait!

I decided it would be a great idea to start this hybrid 5 week English course during a stretch of overnight shifts at work. Bad idea. Dr. Dole understood my chosen adversities and worked with me closely to excel as best i could in this course. It's no cake walk and you have to do the work to succeed. Pay close attention to the syllabus due dates.

Hi to everyone wanting to take Professor Dole... this professor was one of my first ones as a freshmen in college and he goes through his units pretty fast, gives enough time between submissions, gives great feedback, try showing up to class as much as you can because it really helps to know what's going on. CREDIBILITY and COMMUNICATION is huge.

Professor Dole was amazing! All of his work is very intentional, so you won't be doing any busy work. He is definitely willing to work with you if you communicate! He gives really good feedback and overall really helped me improve my writing. Definitely don't miss class, he gives good feedback and additional information there!

Dr. Dole is extremely amazing. He responded to emails fast and give great feedback. My writing is improved a lot with his help. Don't be afraid to reach out to him for help or any concern. IMPORTANT! He DOES NOT accept late works so don't wait until the last minute.

I definitely recommend professor Dole! The only way to pass this class is by not missing a day and asking questions. Don't be afraid to reach for help because he would most definitely love to help you if he sees your trying at least. Other than that, the essays that had to be written for this class were very specific and easy.

I had taken his ENG 1301. The things I learned from this course is helpful to me in other classes as well. Unfortunately i missed his class for 1302 due to late registration. Take without hesitation. He is so motivational and inspirational.

Dr. Dole is an absolutely incredible teacher. He inspired me so much! I am in a difficult place in life right now and his assignments helped me look inward. He cares about you getting something out of the material. Don't try to skate by or you'll miss out. Very communicative and understanding. Grammar matters. Approach this class with an open mind!

Dr. Dole's online English course was really great. He gave excellent feedback, he was quick to respond to emails, and it was very clear to me what I needed to work on. Without exaggeration, Dr. Dole is one of the best professors I have had the pleasure of being taught by. I took ENGL 1301 with him and I can confidently say the following: his course is very organized, his feedback is extremely helpful, the assignments are intentional, and he is an amazing educator who cares about his students and values his job.

Professor Dole explains everything in detail and demands participation. Professors check the drafts of each student in the class and motivate you to earn a better grade. Essay topics are pretty interesting and require brainstorming. You will easily pass the class if you take the initiative to complete homework on time and follow his feedback.

I just took Dr. Dole's online ENGL 1301 course for summer one and can truly say I learned so much. He is an understanding teacher and will answer any questions, comments, or concerns via email to the best of his ability. Each unit requires an essay as the main criteria, but he leaves excellent feedback to guide you through what you need to improve!

Professor Dole is amazing! I took his class over summer, and I enjoyed it tremendously. His assignments were entertaining and engaging. I didn't have any issues with any of the projects, and I definitely would take his class again! This class was one of the best classes I've even taken. Dr. Dole is by far my favorite professor! He gives excellent feedback on your writing with suggestions to edit and revise. He is easygoing as long you complete your work by the due date of the assignment. I would definitely take this class again!

Dr. Dole has a way of teaching you're not going to find in any instructor. I had the opportunity of having him my first semester and he thought me what college life looks like in an easy way. He is a good instructor if it's your first year or if you're in the middle of your Carrer he is it.

Took it in Summer, he was so clear & concise with his grading, he also helped revise the essays. I recommend downloading the Grammarly extension to their computer. I wish he had more classes for my degree program because I would only take his classes. Dr. Dole also gives the class amazing material to reflect on for mental & spiritual growth. 10/10

Dr. Dole is a great professor who really cares about his students' success. His class is well-structured, with helpful feedback and engaging assignments. While it requires effort, using resources like unstuck AI can make the workload manageable.

Such a great professor, wish more were like him! Never had a professor more invested in his students who actually cared for their academics than him. Might be intimidating at first, but he is there to reassure and keep you in his best interest. Love this professor and I thank him for the confidence he helped bring out as a college freshman.

May semester class. The class was fast-paced; there were assignments due every day. There were 4 total essays; 1 of them was 20% of your grade, and the other 3 were 60% of your grade. He was strict on formatting and set clear grading criteria. it was a lot of work but it is doable if you put the time in.

I needed help with an assignment and he was very willing to give feedback and was me feel better about my writing skills. I was 10/10 professor. I would definitely take a class from him again!! Honestly a great professor, He is very clear with grading and honestly very helpful. Honestly this class wont be for you if you don't have proper time managing skills.
