if you take serious in this class, and do your best, you definitely will get A at least.

Dr.Ho is an awesome teacher!! However, he is a very strict teacher. I guess thats why everyone else complains about him. If your the type of student who comes to class everyday and spends time everyday going over your notes, YOU WILL GET AN A! The class is not difficult and he will help you if you ask. He is very difficult and dosent give any curves. He rarely will give an A grade. He makes it almost impossible and he gets pleasure from being hard on his students, many tricky questions on tests.

Prof. Ho is a great professor, but the hardest one I've ever had. He makes you work for your grade in the class and he's very fair in grading. His tests are very difficult, but if you study your notes and just take time to think, you'll do fine. He's one of the best professors I've had.

he is amazing! love him! took him and got a D and then re-took him again and got the A! he is hard and makes you work for your grade but you walk out knowing soo much! he takes his time to explain and will give you extra tiem during office hours..def not the easiest prof but he is the best person to explain A&P! very respectful to his students.

Super tricky exam plus u need to know material in depth!!lowered my GPA by giving me a B- but hey! i dont regret taking his class, he knows hiss material and explains it in a very clear facinating! way!! bcause of him if felt in love with molecular bio N developed good lab skills! I had him for Bio 11 lab. He is a difficult teacher but explains the material well. If you study exactly what he tells you to , you can get a very good grade. You must study and try. You cannot just get by doing no work. I am overall very happy that I've had him as a teacher. I received a good grade for his lab.

By far the hardest prof I've ever had. But I actually walked away with some knowledge ! He definitely makes you work for your grade and makes his lectures entertaining enough. If your look for an easy A then you definitely should keep on looking.

Hands down one of Kingsborough's best professors. He is passionate about the material he teaches and makes it easy to understand. There are no easy As in this class. He won't spoon feed you information and expects you do make an effort like a college student should. Drop rate is high but if you stick it out you will be proud of yourself!

Dr. Ho is an extremely hard professor, but he knows his stuff. You have to work, live and breath his course material, if you want any chance at passing. His exams are very hard and you always have to write an essay on the exams on whatever topic you do in lecture. He is available to help you after class. USE HIS OFFICE HOURS!

He is a very intense professor. He treats the students as if you were to be dependent in life. He helps you understand tyhings but can get very detailed. His tests are by no means easy, but he does enjoy teaching he makes learning fun at times. He doesnt drop anything because he says you earn all your grades, so dont slack off from the get go

He is absolutely a great professor to have! When I discovered he would be my teacher, I was scared because of the comments here. I tried changing classes, but all others were full. He was nothing I expected (good way). Makes the class FUN and clarity=999999! His tests aren't tricky if you study from simply the notes as he went over class. LOVE HIM!

i wish all my teachers were so smart, pushing to the edge, witty. he'd make you work harder than you wished BUT you'd learn a LOT. the most challenging teacher!! I'll admit when Dr Ho first walked into the room and spoke I was a bit intimidated. He seemed like a no-nonsense professor with "no heart". A few of my classmates commented on how hard he was and a couple dropped the class! But I absolutely LOVED this class and his style of teaching! I recommend him for the student who is SERIOUS about learning!!

Dr. Ho is an amazing professor.he has so much knowledge and his ability to pass that knowledge on to his students is impeccable. everything that appeared on the test was taught, there are no surprises. he is approachable and welcomes students to come to his office hours.his teaching style is great. I am very lucky to have been his student.

Hes very hard, he will try to convince you to drop his class. His tests are hard and require detailed essays. The class started out with 30 people.....at the end there was only 12 of us. If you want a challenge and are bored take this class.

He is hands down 1 of the best professors in all of KBCC. He is interesting, funny, clear and has such a vast array of knowledge that he can almost answer any question you throw at him. He appears tough and even mean at first but that is just so the class knows to take his course seriously. If you listen in his class you will get an A.

Dr Ho is a very good professor. Hes very knowledgeable and knows his stuff well answers every question and carries over the material well. Yes he is hard, however he allows you to take pictures of his drawings and to record his lectures. if you listen to what he says write down everything read the book and play the recordings you will ace his class

Great teacher. Despite teaching at Kingsborough , which a lot of student claim don't have professors that push you as hard as a typical 4 year college, this guy definitely does. He's fair. You study you do well, you don't you're screwed. You can talk to him about what you don't understand in class. He's very knowledgeable and connects everything.

Professor who is CARE about students. yes, it is hard. But at least you can get answer to your question and explanation. Some students can understand that later when they will meet total indiffirence from other teachers.

If you want to learn and be the most prepared for higher science courses like pathophysiology and microbiology, take his class. You will need to UNDERSTAND, not memorize his material. If you just memorize you will NOT get the grade you want and it will show on your exams.

Prof HO was our substitute teacher for quite little time. I can tell that he really enjoys. teaching biology If you have any question he will be more than happy to answer them. Yes his tests might be a little hard. However, if you study I am sure you will pass. Most importantly, his class will make you ready to cope at any advanced bio courses.

His class was a real challenge, but so knowledgeable! Professor Ho seems like he loves what he does and so it made me want to attend class everyday. I truly fell in love with Bio because of him. I'm deep into KBCC's nursing program and I still remember EVERYTHING he taught in Bio12. It's my FOUNDATION to everything I'm learning in nursing. SERIOUSLY. This class is why I'm successful in the nursing program, because I actually understand the human body and its many processes. Nursing builds on all of that. Can not thank Dr. Ho enough.

His tests are very detailed and hard , but if you study and understand the material it's not going to be that bad . After each test Everyone can go to his office and revew the test ,and he is always can help you With any questions. Record his lecture,study and you will be fine. I got an A in his class ,but that was not that easy.

He is a tough professor and his tests are extremely detailed and hard. However, if you study you will be fine. For the whole semester I thought I wouldn't be able to make it. But I did. And now I realized that he is the only professor who gave me that much knowledge and made me to like anatomy and physiology even more. Thank you, professor Ho!!!

HE IS THE BEST! he knows organic chemistry is hard for students. He reviews and curved on the final, the lessons are sometimes hard to understand but thats due to the subject. if you need to take chem 31 or 32 take it with him!

Your classes are very challenging, sometimes funny, sometimes very serious, but you always remain on top! The only thing I would deeply ask you to do is to ask your students what you asked them to study! Otherwise, you are really the best!

This is by far the hardest class I've ever taken. I've never worked so hard for anything in my life. He is by far the toughest, most detail oriented professor I have ever encountered. But, if you are willing to put in the work, he will make you better than you ever thought you could be. Best professor ever.

If you want to take a class to actually learn something this is that class. He may be hard but you will leave that class knowing everything you need to continue your studies.

Don't be intimidated by the guy. With good notes (word for word) that you can memorize and some logic to apply them a good grade (B and higher) is achievable. Final was mostly a repeat of the previous 4 exams. The lab quiz (on both lec & lab notes) & 4 hws every couple weeks keep you in check. Funny guy and easy to talk tobut you wont be babied

Amazing professor! He wants you to learn and is very helpful. Very detailed and organized. Study, pay attention and show interest in your own grade and you can definitely pass his class.

He is very amazing professor that I haven't seen before. I like him even his test is not easy, because you gonna learn real knowledge from him if you really want to go to the medical field.

He is a nice professor but his tests are very hard. If you listen carefully and take notes while he is lecturing and study those notes you will pass. He doesn't go according to the book he even makes his own way of teaching which you won't find it anywhere. There are 4 tests and a final which composed of previous tests. Good luck if you choose him.

If you're going into the medical field, take him. If you're taking this class just for a science credit, go elsewhere. The class is difficult, but if you pay attention, come to class, and take decent notes, you'll pass. Tests are quite difficult, so if you don't know the material well, won't do well. Grades aren't always reflective of info learned.

Catered to a certain type of student. Be prepared to study every day! Bio 12 is not an easy course and Professor Ho is a tough professor. His tests are very specific and hard. If you come to class every day and take good notes you should be fine. At the end of the course, you will have so much knowledge that you will thank him for it.

Professor Ho is a wonderful lecturer, and a very fair grader. A&PII is not the easiest class to begin with, since there are a lot of material to memorize. However, professor Ho makes the great emphasis on physiology (which is much more logical). Come in time, record him, study every day for a couple of hours, and you will get a good grade! :)

Amazing professor, you will learn a lot from his class. Be prepared to study (as you should)his tests are always based on things he has covered. Pay attention to the specifics If he takes time to explain a concept. He's very funny and caring and will help you if you need it. Attendance isn't mandatory by him but if you miss class you will be lost

The amount of material for this class is a bit overwhelming and i would not recommend taking it in 6 weeks unless you can put in a decent amount of time to study. With that said Prof Ho cares very much about his students, he has a heart and he is fair. It was easy to not fall asleep because he has a sense of humor and the lecture was not boring.

Professor Ho believe is a great person. During the pandemic, he truly went the extra mile to help his students learn the material . He was very understanding too as I was experiencing some personal challenges. Follow his instructions and you will do well in the class. Maybe God continue to bless you, Professor Ho.

I don't understand why this man have such a low rating. He's an amazing professor. I wish all my professor were like him. He made the lecture fun and interesting. Obviously it's college you have to put effort to study and you'll be great in his class. By the way I took him for the Summer which only 6 weeks. Take his class you will not regret it.

I found his lectures really interesting. Precisely BECAUSE they're so detailed, I learned a lot. This was a condensed summer course so it was intense. Yes, be prepared to know EVERYTHING that he includes on slides. Cons: The test format with options like "both a & b", "both a, b, & c", "none of the above", etc. It's tricky so know your stuff!

Everything is clear. There are no extra credits for extra participation. Your grade is based on your knowledge. The lectures are logically structured. Read before! Always positive attitude towards students. I have no idea why Prof. Ho was rated so low.

He's a great Professor. The work can be overwhelming but that's how Biology a&p is that in general. You just have to be prepared to read and study a lot , if you do that you should be alright. Lectures can be heavy and so is all the combination of exam but just stay on task so you don't fall behind. Easiest part is the weekly assignments.

Very kind and the most honest professor. Yes, I agree that his quizzes and exams are very difficult, but you have to put in the effort and study hard to earn a good grade. He does all his best to make clear the material for you. Choose what you want to gain from this subject: quality knowledge or just a grade and a checkmark that you've passed it.

Amazing professor actually cares about the students learning the material. Despite the tests a bit difficult he does provide extra credit. One of the best bio teachers I've had that actually understand the material , would recommend.

Professor Ho is a very intelligent man who pushes you and prepares you for medical programs. Free up ~20 hours/week; there's a quiz/test every week. Study the slides thoroughly and take notes on what he says. Study Endocrine before the semester begins. If he's telling you to drop the class because the odds are against you, trust him. GOOD LUCK!
