She is the BEST teacher I have had for a math class!!! She will go over anything you need help with and will not move onto another subject until everyone understands it in the class. Goes over everything and writes it all out on the board and explains everything in a great way! TAKE HER!!!!!

Very good prof. Can be a little hard to understand at times, but will make sure that everyone gets it before moving on. HW is not mandatory, which is nice, and her tests are usually fairly easy as long as you pay attention in class and take notes. Made calculus almost an easy subject.

Dr. Ivana Ilic is the best math teacher I've EVER had! I was really nervous going into calculus, expecting it to be barely passable. Her tests and quizzes are fair, and when I had her they were all multiple choice. She goes over each and every step and goes over anything that's unclear if you have any questions. She wants her students to succeed.

She is the best teacher I have ever had in college so far! (I took calc 1 at UF and dropped) She is very clear and concise and lets you know what will be on the test. Homework is optional, but is critical for success on tests and quizes. She also grades very generously as she curves each test and quiz for my summer A class. Got a 99 in the class!

She is a great professor and is very helpful and patient. She takes her time explaining things and ensures that most of the class understands before moving on. She somehow managed to get 16 weeks of material into 7. Her tests were easy enough if you studied the material and attended class. Would DEF RECOMMEND!!!

She is simply amazing. Thorough in covering every nuance of a problem type. If the class looks confused to her, she will rephrase in an attempt to get us to see something as clearly as she does. Really cares that you understand the material. Grades are earned, not given. Homework is required. Gives quizzes. Tests are multiple choice.

The class is tough, however, she is willing to explain or help in any way. The accent is thick but nothing you can't understand. She doesn't give any extra credit or extend any deadlines for any reason. If you're good at math you should be fine with her

Very good teacher. I am taking her Calculus class. Her accent is not strong and those who cannot understand her are simply stupid. She explains everything and is very clear. I did not like the class only because of some "slower" students who were asking same stupid questions over and over. But the teacher knows what she is talking about.

I loved her! Yes, she has an accent, but its not hard to follow at all. She is the only prof I've ever had that is actually concerned with how well the entire class is following along. She will not move on until we all get it. I'm okay at math and I did fantastic on her tests. If you pay attention, you'll do great!

i love this proffesor she cares about her students and listens to comments and will try her best to adjust i find that she does not like kids leaving class early. she wont say anything but base on her reaction you can tell. so if you take her please respect that and stay until class is over or dont come at all

Allow me to preface my comment by saying "I despise math" and school as a matter of fact. Prof Ilic did a stunning job at being clear, organized and prepared to EVERY class. Her love for math motivates to do well in class. The class wasn't a breeze but good environment to succeed. Pace was average. Way less difficult than regular Calc (from hell).

She is an amazing teacher. I had her for Intermediate Math and even though I am horrible at math, she made it really easy. She uses a slow-paced curriculum that allows students to ask questions and comprehend what they are being taught. It is very clear and the test are super easy. All of the homework and practice is online and it shows due dates.

Very clear on how you will be graded and gives extra credit quizzes that go towards tests. You must go to class if you want to pass with at least a B.

Ask questions if you don't understand. I procrastinated too much and got C's on all the test. She's nice and will answer questions, but if you keep saying you don't understand she gets frustrated. Always willing to help in her office hours, but gets frustrated as well. Homework is 15 points.

Proffessor Ilic is a great teacher. She knows her subject and is willing to help students to understand it. I took Calculus 1 for summer classes and she made it as easy as possible, you should do just fine if you do your hw and study the textbook. Students who didn't do the hw ended failing and dropping 2 days before the final. Use your textbook!!!

She is a great teacher and she really cares about her students. You get homework and it takes time to do it so I wouldn't wait till last minute. Her tests are not long and we had the chance in our class to make up the lowest grade. I'm awful at math by the way, at the end though I didn't mind it much.

Professor Ilic is awesome! She cares about her students, is helpful, and is flexible. I would take her again in a heart beat. This professor was amazing for Intermediate Algebra online. This class went by fast, but it was because it was a summer course.

I struggle with math and she helped me as much as she could. I ended up with a 68 and she passed me with a 70. If you need help, go to her office hours, she's really nice. Her accent isn't that bad. It's understandable.

Professor Ilic was great and I would take her class again in a minute. This was an online class and when I did not understand something should would send video explanations or detailed explanations via email. She was available to meet with me also to work through concepts that were unclear. I highly recommend taking her class.

Work done thru mylabplus. Quick feedback on emails with good explanations. Great teacher, helps when you ask. Keep a notebook while working thru HW questions & quizzes and write out questions&answers.I am not good at math, but I put in about 10 hrs a week and made it.

She really cares about her students. She makes sure everyone understands the material, before moving on. She also makes it very clear to ask questions if we don't understand something, and she teaches very clearly at at a decent pace. If she feels the class isnt ready for a test next class, she will postpone it to the following class.

Amazing math professor!! Took her for both College Algebra and Business Calc. She is always willing to answer questions and help students. Tests are very similar to her reviews. Lots of homework, but you will see this in every math class, no matter what professor you get.

I took Ivana for business calc. I recognize a lot of the same formulas in microeconomics. She was helpful and open and secretly funny! She has a passion for math and her exams reflect her lectures. Don't procrastinate on the MyLab. You don't need a textbook. Study your notes/handouts. Made a good friend a that year. I miss my friend and that class

Took her for a mini term and even though there is very little time, she makes the work manageable. Very good at explaining things too, highly recommend.

Dr. Ilic was an amazing professor. The class was obnoxiously easy for me, but if you are someone that struggles with math she is AMAZING! She makes sure she walks through how to do the problems both by hand and by calculator and if at any point you need help in class she will come over to you and help. She is really a great STATS prof.

4 tests (2 are proctored) and a proctored final exam. MLP is set to allow unlimited tries on homework, 3 on quizzes, and 2 on tests. The tests make up a large portion of your grade(45%). Sometimes doesn't respond to emails but if you ask for zoom meeting to go over material, she will help you. Extends the due date and accepts late work w no penalty

Test are pretty easy if you take notes and pay attention to what she says. Overall great experience. I'm taking her again this semester for Calculus Business.

Dr. Ilic prepares you for her tests and prepares you for your future math classes. She is a strong mathematician. She gives great explanations and will attempt to go until everyone has understood the material. Some people have a rough time with math but I recommended her.

I didn't interact with her at all. Tests were easy, but she doesn't allow writing programs for your calculator, so don't get caught. Comprehensive final + two other proctored tests. Easy if you do all the homework. Don't have to do any of the reading, just do the practices. Says she doesn't allow late-work, but absolutely does. Allows notecards.

Great professor to take for Business Calc. You get multiple attempts on quizzes and tests, which makes things a lot easier for you. It's an overall difficult course, but with her support, and the wide range of available resources through the Hawkes Learning program, you will be able to succeed!

I read a previous comment mentioning they could not understand her because of her accent, but it is not noticeable at all. The course itself is hard, and the tests are heavily weighted, so make sure to take advantage of all the resources available.

She does a good job at explaining concepts when people don't understand it. However, she sometimes overcomplicates certain things. The lectures are very useful if you are the type of person that teaches yourself the content. The exams weighed a lot so make sure to study. If you do the homework and study the tests are pretty easy.

Professor Illic is an amazing professor that cares for her students. The study guides line up very similarly to the exam, so doing well on the study guide should equal success on the exams. She always goes out of her way to explain topics if someone doesn't understand.
