Ivanka Sabolich was very clear and helpful for the most part, and if you attended class the exams were easy for the most part as long as a small ammount of studying from the book was done.
very easy if you went to class..extra credit quized were easy also...
class was simple...ivanka was amazing...what other 50-something year old woman can pull off pleather pants??
i have a hard time understanding her sometimes. shes so easy though she gives u a copy of the essay questions before the test. when she grades papers i think she just checks that you actually did it. maybe reading in english is too much so she gives all A
She's a really cool teacher. Easy to learn from, but I did have to go back and read some of the book to understand everything fully for the exam.
Likes to involve class
Too hard to comment.
Dr. Sabolich is a very interesting teacher. To pass her class, you really don't need to attend class. If you are a procrastinator, the trick to being successful in her class is attending the review session two days before the test. Complete the review and you should atleast pass with an A. atleast!!
I was very disappointed with my test grades. Called her 2 ask how 2 improve grades. Seemed not 2 take me serious til I told her I was a non-trad student, working F/T, in school P/T & has children. Hard to gauge her quiz pattern since you only take 3 tests. Go 2 review & u'll pass w/a C at least.
She was not helpful in answering questions outside of class. Extra credit was offered but when it wasn't added to my score she wouldn't meet with me or answer my emails. It cost me a letter grade.
Very boring class...would have been an easy class, had I stayed awake through those tedious lectures.
She isn't very helpful outside of class. I needed to miss a test and told her two class days before and showed her the doctors proof. She wasn't very flexible and never told me a time I could retake it. She doesnt answer email or return phone calls.
Ivanka rules! Made things very clear in class. Just show up to lectures, don't even bother buying the book. Does an awesome review before every test. Oh so highly recommended.
If you have a hard time understanding accents...DO NOT take this class. She is croatian and I found her hard to understand. However if you are an insomniac this is a good class for you to take.
You can still pass the class without attending class if that tells you anything. People complain about her croation accent. Personally I could understand everything she said. I found her to be an extremely entertaining professor. Likes to involve class in discussions. Fun professor.
She is a very good teacher. I learned so much from her. She answered my questions outside of class. To me she was tops. You go girl. I wish she would teach soc. problems, so I could take her class. I understood her perfectly.
she was a good professor
great professor, made class very entertaining, very accessible and willing to answer questions,
I HAD HER FOR A LARGE INTRO TO SOC. LECTURE. I REALLY DIDN'T ATTEND CLASS MUCH AND CAME OUT WITH A B. IF YOU DO THE READING YOU WILL BE FINE...ALSO GO TO HER EXAM REVIEWS JSUT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYHTING FROM THE NOTES ON THE EXAM.
As everyone knows, this class is huge. Which generally means, that this class is easy as hell. Which it was. Intro classes are generally easy- its a fact. She reviewed material before tests. I didn't own the book. I didn't own the supplemental reading material. I went to class one (out of three) times a week- if that. I got an A.

You don't ever have to go to class!! That's a plus, but the class is boring and pointless. She is no help outside of class.
She says three words and then pauses for ten seconds. We could cover twice as much material if she would talk normally!
class was boring & not very informative. reading the text doesn't help either. If you want to get a good grade on the tests you have to go to the study sessions with the TAs.
I had no problem understanding her! I think shes the cutest thing ever! She makes you laugh with her stories too!
she was a sweet lady. At first i did not comprehend her bcuz of her accent but after a couple of weeks she was very understandable. She is a sweetheart and she uses a lot of good examples so that u could understand her points. SHes not as bad as people say she is
She dresses well and her hair is awesome, but her class is soooo boring
She was an awesome teacher! Exams were straight from the notes. she had a review day before the exam, where we went over each question on the exam. She gives bonus! Not a hard class at all. She keep it interesting with her examples and outfits that she wear!
boring
Exams are fairly easy, she does a review over everthing you need to knowb the day before the exam. She is pretty nice and helps any way she can.
She is a good teacher. She makes everything clear
easy class, really nice professor. not necessary to go to class and she tells you exactly whats going to be on the test in the review
pure awesome. her review before the test left you ready for it, no doubt.
She was a little *too* easy.. just go to the review sessions and study what she reviews, and you'll get at least a B on the test. This is the type of class to take if you have a hard load.
Loved her class. test were somewhat hard, but she made the class interesting. She can be funny at times, tells good jokes. She knows her stuff
She is extremely boring!!! And she words her tests weird, i usually snooze through classes like this and i knew all the material going into the test but she somehow managed to make up questions that were over material we never covered! Not my personal favorite.
She keeps the class interesting and relevent. She has reviews before every test!!! Very easy but you learn a lot.

YOU CANNOT understand a word she is saying so if you need to understand lecture or notes, don't take her class. She also does not know how to use a microphone properly...
She is a very nasty person. You cannot understand a word she is saying. She expects you to write notes in class super fast. She is unhelpful and unfriendly. She tries to control her class as if it were high school.
She's pretty funny and really nice. She does have an accecnt but is very easy to understand. She tells us exactly what to know for the exam. This is a very easy class and I'm lucky to have had her.
Intro to Sociology is an easy class. This professor clearly explains things. The pace of the class is horrifically slow. You can skip every class but the one before an exam and get an A in the class. I did.
She is an awesome professor! She talks clear enough to understand her. So that one coment about you can't understand her is stupid! She has really funny stories that she tells during class to go along with the material we are learning. Here is a tip: Don't buy the book! She gives you all you will need in class. Ivanka Sabolich is a great professor.
Sabolich's Intro to Soc class is the easiest class you could ever take. She's sometimes funny, but the pace is slow and the material is just too easy so I hardly ever went to class. All you need to do is read the book and show up for the exam reviews (held the class before the exam) and I don't know how you couldn't get an A
I love her! Number one, her class is extremely easy. Your grade is based on 3 exams, and there is an opportunity of extra credit. Two, she's the cutest thing with her accent, and she always wears cute outfits. She helps you understand things by telling stories, and many of them are funny. I loved her class! Easy A!
very nice teacher. very easy. class is interesting and goes by fast because she tells a story for each topic which makes it easy to understand. her study guide tells you EXACTLY what is on the test. you dont even have to go to class, just get the studyguide and notes and you can do well. i suggest going to class because she's a wonderful professor.
I love her! she is a fun teacher! she always looks so cute in her outfits and actually makes sociology fun! I took minorities in america from her and its an easy upper division class
im taking her intro class right now and i would agree with one other comment on her: you cannot understand her. it is easy to get side tracked and you won't stay focused. if you have a chance, don't take her class but if not, then sit up front! class isn't hard but be prepared to not know whats going on
This class is pretty easy. 3 MC exams, all from lecture, tells you everything you need to know during exams reviews.
Great teacher. Extremely smart. Quick wit. Highly recommended. Gives you all info needed to do well.
if you take this class DO NOT GET THE SORT VERSION TEXT BOOK GET THE FULL VERSION. the full version is not that long its about 10-15 pages a chapter with large font. I got a "c" because I could not understand her lecture because of her Russian akcent. READ THE FULL VERSION TEXT BOOK GET AT LEAST A "B" IF NOT "A" AND HER LECTURE IS USELESS
Has slight accent that is easy to understand, don't bother buying the book if you go to class, very funny lady-wears leather pants
I really liked her class. She was really interesting and I didn't know much about sociology before I took the class, but not it's something I really like. As long as you go to the stIudy sessions you'll get A's. She's one of my favorite teachers so far.
I really liked her class. She was really interesting and I didn't know much about sociology before I took the class, but now it's something I really like. As long as you go to the study sessions you'll get A's. She's one of my favorite teachers so far.
SHE IS A GREAT TEACHER, HER NOTES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND WHEN SHE DOES REVIEW SHE BASICALLY TELLS YOU EVERYTHING THATS GOING TO BE ON THE TEST PLUS HER TA'S ALSO HAVE HELPFUL REVIEWS OUTSIDE OF CLASS!! IF YOU CAN TAKE HER
Loved her.
She explains what is expected of you, and is very knowledgeable. She is very cute and class isn't too mandatory but if you don't have anyone to get the notes from in class then you should go and she gives extra credit opportunity. The day before the test she gives you the essay questions that will be on there and each subject that will be covered.
Ivanka is a darling! Some of the material was boring, but the personal touches she added made things really interesting. I didn't have to, but I went to almost every class and I was not disappointed. Take this class, you'll enjoy the subject and professor!
i had her for a couple different classes. overall she was really easy. she does have an accent, although i did not find her difficult to understand. she's cute, she's fun and i would take more classes by her
class was actually fun to go to, material was interesting and she mad it great. she had funny stories and every once in a while would stumble on a word making them even funnier, accent doesn't make it hard to understand her and review for exams help alot. great class
This was my favorite class! she tells the best stories and i really enjoyed going to class each day. the test are easy.
Insultingly easy. Grades are based on exams only. The exams are easy. Reading the chapters or attending the review sessions would be sufficient to garner an A. Class attendance is not necessary, and I learned that one can simply not attend class except for exams. What lectures I attended were decent, if slowly paced.
OMG! She was sooo much fun! By far my favorite class to take. She has the funniest accent and the funniest stories!! You will love her!!!
Went to class 7 times! Go the first class to get the rubric and not agian until the first review. Exan questions are almost word for word off the review notes.
Great Intro class. Very easy.
Firstly, you cannot understand a word she says. She goes off on tangents and doesn't make sense. There is no point in going to this class. Just go to the review and study out of the nook and you'll do fine. I have an A, and have only attended a handful of classes.
Ivanka is a very good prof to have and everyone taking soc should try to take one of her upper-division classes, she makes her classes enjoyable.
Very nice professor. She is hard to understand at times, but class is all based upon powerpoint notes and some short movies. Overall the class was not too hard. Go to class..and if you don't..then get the notes because they do help. Sometimes a snoozer class..but she is nice and has funny stories to tell. =]
Dr. Sabolich is an excellent professor. She's very nice and sometimes hard to understand, but she makes Sociology worth it. I seriously considered a major in Soc since she taught me!
She is very nice and understanding...but she is hard to understand and she teaches such a big class its hard for her to make everything clear to all her students....alright teacher
I am a junior, have received all As in all of my classes so far, other than one A- and one B. This class is about to be my second B. I go to every class, study hard, thought I did well on exams, but I guess not. Enough said.
If you have to leave class earlier, she will chase you down if you do not tell her in advance. It's quite comical. Good professor.
Her social problems class was one of the easiest I've ever taken. Before every test she does a review that literally goes over every question on the test.
She's such a sweetie! I actually enjoy coming to class and she makes me laugh everyday... pretty easy class as well
Lectures everyday with a few videos every now and then. I went to class or got the notes, studied my tail off and still got a B+ in the class. The class is boring and the tests are difficult, but Sabolich is a pretty funny person.
good professor, very funny and interesting, makes the class fun, shes very sweet and will do anything for her students. the tests were alright, you need to study and pay attention to details while reading. over all id highly recommend her. never any homework. just readings which i never did, still did good in class!
She is hilarious! She made class enjoyable and cool. She has an accent, but she is understandable. The subject may be kind of boring, but it is not a hard class. Use the book to study for tests. And do the extra credit she gives! That is what helped me the most!
She is so funny & keeps the class interesting. She always incorporates her experiences with being an immigrant as part of the lesson.. she is so cute! The class is pretty easy considering she goes over nearly every question as a review the class before the exam.
She was a really good professor. The class was super easy and the test were a breeze. She was actually really funny, and always added her stories to lecture.
This class is very easy. Ivanka is very funny but when you talk to her one on one she seems annoyed. Overall good experiance.
Nice lady, easy tests, clear instructions. Doesn't get much easier than this. I didn't study for a single test and slept in class sometimes. The only thing that kept me from an A was not doing Extra Credit. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!!
Kind of boring in my opinion but the class was easy. Material and tests were very clear and she was available for outside help whenever needed. I didn't use the books at all but still managed a decent grade.
Easiest class I've ever taken, hands down. Never had to crack the textbook. It's a lecture class, and not only are all test questions taken directly from slides, she goes over the test questions the class before the test. Not the most exciting class, although she does try to get the class engaged with questions.
Makes learning fun with her stories and excitement to teach. She is very fun, nice accent but understandable. Good course. And yes, she will run after you, even in heels if you try and leave early :)
Very interesting class lectures. Had a few opportunities for extra credit that were actually pretty fun activities. I probably only went to 3/4 of the classes and still did very well. Don't bother buying a book-she never used it.
What a wonderful professor Ivanka is. Class was wonderful, learned so much. Time flew by with her interesting topics-would suggest this class to everyone. Kent State has a great group of soc profs.
She's not extremely difficult but you do need to study a little bit. The book is recommended because it helps to complete her notes as she goes directly off the book. Going to class is pretty much a must because that's the only way you can get her notes. I never had to talk to her but she seems very nice to talk to individually.
very easy class, it is not necessary to show up. the review she gives the class before the exam is almost verbatim to the exam.
Professor Sabolich is really great! If you want a fairly painless A I highly suggest. The book isn't a necessity but is very helpful. Just make sure to go to her review lecture before each exam and look over all your notes and you should be get at least a B. Highly recommended!!!
I took this class only because of the ratings and yeah, she is very nice and the material is relatively easy BUT you HAVE to read the "taking sides" book before the test or you will get a C. She is also hard to understand and pay attention to. The material is a drag.
Great professor! Really good at maintaining an unbiased approach to the issues. But speaking of issues. The Taking Sides Book is important if you want to pass the tests. Very detailed questions on the different issues. Overall though easy class, just pay attention you will be fine. Textbook not necessary.
dr. sabolich is awesome. no homework. extra credit opportunities. nuff said.
Had her for Intro to Soc. Don't even bother buying the book, the notes and videos will do just fine. She'll chase you if you leave esrly. Go to lecture and take advantage of the study sessions and extra credit. She explained topics well. She's Funny and nice.
Kindest woman with the sweetest heart, truly wants the best outcome for her students; wants you in class so bad that if you try to leave she will chase you. Grading is kind of hard because it is only 3 tests and 4, 5 pt extra credit quizzes. The reader is not necessary but will give you a better grade. Pay attention to her and you should do well.
One of the easiest classes I have ever taken at KSU. Never went to class, only the review days for exams and passed with no problem with an A. Also offers extra credit. Her accent is heavy so she is pretty hard to understand but as long as you have the book and the study guide you are fine. The review guides are basically the exam.
Not an easy class. You have to read the stories in the reader. Study guide is given, but not all material on exam is on study guide. You really have to pay attention in class. Ivanka is really amazing, she is so much fun in class, but the class is not very easy. Extra credit given, but if you want an A you really have to put in some work.
Loved her she was always into teaching the subject, she would find interesting ways to keep us entertined in learning. she encourages attendence by not putting the notes on line but if you attend class you'll be fine. It was an easy A for me
I bought the book and never used it, She posts some of the notes online, but don't count on it. She has a really helpful review in class before the test, just take good notes and listen. The class can be a drag and boring, but when someone tries to leave it gets interesting. She chases them. so word of advice, use the restroom before class.
She is really nice, but she is very hard to follow because of her accent. She says "UM" a lot when she speaks and you get lost and have no idea what she is talking about by the time she stops. Material is pretty easy, tests are multiple choice with two essays and she does extra credit quizzes.
All the material from the tests comes from the power-points which she doesn't post online. Does a review the class before the tests of all the material that will be on them. Never touched the book.
Took her for Social Problems. She's an extremely nice women, but has a heavy accent. Some of her expectations are unclear, but she if very understanding and listen to whats the class has to say. She takes attendance everyday, lectures are pretty boring. Hold review sessions which are very helpful for exams
She was a really good professor. She is foreign but her accent is adorable and not hard to understand at all. She will chase you when you try and leave early without previously notifying her though. You don't really need to read the textbook and all her tests are 50 multiple choice questions and the final exam is not cumulative.
A really nice person, however, as a professor she was a little unclear with the lectures and paper. The exams were challenging if you did not read the required books and really pay close attention to what she said as well as what was on the lecture slides. Not a terrible class or professor just be prepared to work.
Only grades in the class were 3 tests. She goes over before each test everything that will be on it. Look over what she tells you and familiarize yourself with main concepts from the powerpoint and you'll do fine. Easy A and interesting topics. She also gives you an option to get 20 points of extra credit and it is really easy. Didn't buy the text.
Nice lady, good teacher. Has an accent but is easy to understand. Attendance is not mandatory but don't leave earlier or she will chase you! Don't need textbook. No homework. Rarely posts notes online. Has in-class review before every test.
Professor Sabolich was lovely, she made me actually interested in Sociology which isn't easy to do! She doesn't post the powerpoints online, so make sure to copy them down in your notes. She also offered an extra credit project worth 20 points which I'd recommend doing just to ensure an A.
Very good professor. She made Sociology interesting and easy. She is a very cute lady with a very rich accent, but you get used to it. She is not very hard to understand. Power points are not online so highly recommend going to class since every class you take notes.
She is one of my favorite professors! All of the tests are pretty much lecture based, so make sure you attend them! Super nice and friendly. Online quizzes are the most challenging part of class (all book based), but don't let that scare you! She is well worth it. Very enjoyable professor!
She was hilarious. A great professor. I would definatley take classes with her again!
She will chase you if you leave early. She has crappy directions for her homework and extra credit. Also doesnt accept anything late. Wouldnt take again.
Do not buy the book, it's online. Only assigned one paper and it was extra credit. She has an accent, so she may be difficult to understand at times. If you leave during class she will chase you. There are quizzes every week but online. Does not post notes online. Her directions are not clear because she isn't specific enough.
Dr. Sabolich is very fair and gives good lectures (often get long with the stories she tells). Before each exam she has an in-class review session that gives you the whole test. I got an A in the class but you have to stay on top of the online quizzes the TA's put online! Take good notes, go to in-class review sessions, and you'll do great!
I've taken her for Soc of Families and Inequality in Society. Definitely one of my favorite professors. Tests aren't too difficult, typically 40 multiple choice and 2 essay questions. She does a review the class before the exam so GO! She goes over everything on exam. She also gives extra credit quizzes randomly through the semester worth 5 points.
notes don't make any sense. hard to understand her because she jumps around from one topic to another. doesn't post the notes online, so you have to go to class. only 3 exams but I would not take her again
The class you definitely don't need to attend to pass. However, I found her tests quite difficult and you for sure need to study for them. The class altogether though does not require that much effort.
I had her for Introduction to Sociology. The class was pretty easy. She can be a little hard to understand but everything she talks about is on a powerpoint. There are study sessions before every exam. If you come to class you will pass.
She's super sweet and helpful. Her Into to Sociology is easy if you keep up with the weekly quizzes and the reading. She also does not take attendance in that class so I passed without really going.
Took this class and quickly realized I couldn't understand anything she was saying despite me sitting in front. After a few lectures, I wasn't getting info from anything she was saying and barely got anything from the slides. I quit coming to class and just read the awful digital book. Lost quiz scores at the end of the the class. Failed.
I really did not like her at all! You cannot understand anything she is saying. And she passes ALL her responsibilities to her TA's. She's very picky on assignments and will give you a zero if you don't follow the littlest rule. Would avoid her at all costs, she was not very helpful or kind.
Go to class and pay attention!!! Take notes and go to the study session. You will pass and probably get an A. Dr. Sabolich seems to expect a lot but her class is simple. You don't learn much I'd you have taken a class like this before, but if not this class is very informative. She is an interesting woman with lots of fun stories. May take again.
Attendance is mandatory, she won't post the lecture online. She doesn't go too fast during the lectures, so it's not hard to understand. Tell her if you have to leave early or she will chase you out the door.
Dr. Sabolich is a very passionate, caring teacher. I have her for Intro to Soc and she always comes to class with a smile on her face and a pretty outfit on! She cares a lot about her students' opinions and although she has an accent, she tries to make sure everyone can understand her. Her stories are very eye opening and I enjoyed her as my prof
You can really show up whenever you want. She sometimes posts Powerpoints. You can ask your friends for notes because there are so many people in the lecture. Quizzes are easy. Just read the book carefully. Exams are tough, so read the book, memorize definitions, and work your butt off.
Initially, when I took this class I thought I was going to struggle because it was a little difficult for me to understand her. Eventually, I got used to her accent and everything was good. She is a very sweet, woman and will chase you if you try to leave early. Going to lecture is very helpful for the quizzes. GO TO HER REVIEW SESSIONS FOR EXAMS!
Sabolich is not a bad professor but she is not clear with written directions. The class is only worth 400 points so every little thing counts. She offers 20pt extra credit but is not clear with the guidelines and will not accept anything less than what she expects (not what's written). I recommend her course but do the ec in advance for rewrites
The tests are pretty tough so you you really have to study and go to the exam reviews with the TAs.
LOVED HER! I had her for introduction to sociology and she was such a sweet lady. She has an accent but if you listen closely she is not too hard to understand. Her tests are straight forward, and she holds in class reviews before each exam. Offers a 20 point extra credit opportunity which provides good wiggle room.
I took Prof. Sabolich's Intro to Sociology class. She is a great lecturer who seems to have a real passion for teaching. Her personal stories actually supplement the textbook. You don't really need to read the book if you attend class. Prof. Sabolich does have an Eastern European accent, but I got used to it after a couple days. Great teacher.
Professor Sabolich is one of the best professors I've had. She really cares about her student's learning and does everything in her power to make sure you understand the material, from being available outside of class, to holding review sessions before exams. As long as you do the work, she's an easy prof, and very funny too.
Knows a lot about what she's talking about but is very lecture heavy. Not only that but she moves too quickly through them. Also I can't understand her because of her accent.
Don't bother showing up to class. She lectures out of order (as in "slide 3, slide 6, slide 2). Just read the book, if you can get it to work. Just be careful because the book sometimes contradicts its own logic but it is better than wasting your time in class.
Intro class class, so not much to say, but if you study and do the work you will get the grade yo want. Remember to do the online quizzes. Her accent is not that hard to used to.
She's really nice and funny but her power points are broken English and she's a little hard to understand. She only had three exams and no study guide for them so it's hard to get your grade up if you don't test well. Her study sessions give at least 10 questions that will be on the exam so go to that if you can!
She chases after people who leave her class early! But she has a Russian/Croatian accent but still understandable. She can be funny at times and doesn't give a Final in into to soc!
Her power point presentations for her notes are formatted in a weird way that makes them hard to understand. If you want to do well, it would be best to read the book because some things are hard to understand. There are only three exams so if you do bad on one, it is hard to get your grade up, even with the extra credit, which she is picky about.
Her accent is thick, but it is easy to understand once you get used to it. She is very caring about her students and passionate abut the subject. Take advantage of the extra credit. It will help you out in the end. NEVER miss class on exam review days, she goes over exactly what will be on the exams. It is an easy A if you put effort in.
Thick accent so kind of hard to understand. You really have to pay attention to the lecture slides to do well on tests. Somethings on exams aren't talked about
Amazing professor. Her accent wasn't hard for me to understand at all. She was super funny and knowledgeable about sociology and she made the class fun. Her reviews are basically the exam and she doesn't post them so make sure you go to class. She also chases you out of class and drags you back if you try to leave early which I found hilarious
I had Dr. Sabolich for Intro to Sociology and she was fantastic. In a 300 person lecture, she somehow made the auditorium feel like a small room. She's very passionate about sociology and is very connected with her students. Be sure to sit close to the front: she's Croatian and her accent's heavy. There are chapter quizzes on revel and three exams
I took Dr. Sabolich for Intro to Soc and she is a good professor. She is a little hard to understand at times. GO TO CLASS. the only way to get the notes is by showing up to her lectures. DO the extra credit, its so easy and a serious grade changer. Whatever you do, don't leave a lecture early, she will literally chase you down. Overall, good prof.
She can be funny at times and she often tells stories and gets class participation, which I really appreciated. If it was a smaller class, I probably would have enjoyed her as a professor more. Her powerpoints were sometimes confusing, which made note taking and studying a bit harder.
Dr Sabolich is so sweet and really cares about her students. She is funny and loves to make jokes on personal stories in her lectures. While attendance isnt mandatory, she does not post her powerpoints most weeks to make sure you are getting the information in the classroom. She also does have an accent but you get used to it quickly!
Basically just a lecture every class and attendance is not mandatory. She sometimes posts the PowerPoints online, but don't count on it. She really cares about her students and walks around to talk to you before class. Exams aren't too difficult and there's a huge extra credit assignment.
Good lectures
She is very funny and cares about what she is teaching. She has an accent, but it is pretty easy to understand her. Her lectures can get boring, but make sure you have the notes. The class perform the exam she has a review session and tells you exactly what to know. Great teacher overall. I learned a lot.
attending lecture wasn't mandatory and sometimes she posted the powerpoints online but for the most part, the class is an easy A. She basically tells you everything you need to know for an exam the class before so it's important to go to those.
Great teacher, is passionate about what she teaches. Quick and easy quizzes every week, 3 exams (including final) and offers extra credit. Participation isn't required, but make sure you get the notes and attend review sessions. Not much you could complain about with her!
Dr. Sabolich is a very endearing professor who is very passionate about the material in this class. Although she only lectures during the meeting times, she makes it quite interactive and filled with videos/discussions in order to get us to think about the class.
Dr Sabolich is one of the best professors ive had so far. She walks around the lecture hall a lot and makes it feel like a small classroom. she does hunt you down if you leave early! Her exams are kinda hard but not impossible. Shes very accessible too if you need to talk to her. Youll have to buy the online textbook to do homework tho. (80$)
Dr. Sabolich is a good professor, and really knows what she is talking about. Her accent, for me, was a little hard to get used to but that wasn't a huge problem. There are online quizzes every week that are super easy so don't forget to do them. She takes her class very serious and does not like when you try to leave early.
Dr. Sabolich is knowledgable, but her presentation is dull and her accent is difficult at times. As long as you do the reading & hw, and show up to the review class before the exams, you'll be fine. If you're really worried, there is an extra credit assignment. I missed about a third of the classes and got a 98%. Leave early & she'll hunt you down!
Her lecturers were very boring but was overall a decent class. Her accent was a bit hard to understand at times. Had easy ten question quizzes every week where you could use your book and notes. Extra credit is offered.
