She is a great teacher. She will help you correct the essays and give you chances to redo them. If you read and do the essays you will have nothing to worry about.Gives a lot of extra credit.

I can clearly say that she is one of the best teachers in ENC1101 & ENC1102 out there! I took her for the summer mini term and had a lot of fun. She is a bad ass teacher, if you get her you wont regret it. A++

Excellent. I took her over the summer for a mini-term. she is flexible in the schedule for work. Assignments are due on time. In between she has flexibility. allows for revisions on papers, in fact schedules teacher and peer reviews of drafts prior to submission. Very helpful if help is sought. will be taking 2 other classes in the fall.

I loved her class. She makes everything super easy. You just have to make sure your on top of everything, especially the essays. You'll do a couple of group presentaiotns, and quizzes of some stories read in the books. Overall, very easy to pass, but if your lazy you won't.

I retook ENC 1101 couse the previous professor was horable. But she was very helpfull and the class wasn't hard, u just have to do ur assignment (can be even a little late). She always work with u. I didn't have 1% for the next grade so she gave it to me. AWESOME!!! I took her online.

Professor Lamazares is the best English professor. She helps you on your essays meaning she will revise them several times before you have to submit it which this gives you a better chance for a better grade and in that process you are also learning. I got an A in her class. Test are 10 to 11 questions if you read the books the test is easy.

She is the best thing that has happened to Miami Dade College. This teacher is wonderful, I wish I could take more classes with her. She has not one bad comment! She's understanding, smart, and really just a great person. She cares about her students and the student's progress. I'm amazed at Lamazares, only a fool would not take her.

A LOT OF ASSIGNED WORK.... too many essays.. yes she help you revise them for a better grade but every class there is an essay due. she is nice but kind of disoriented trys to do too much in one class never finishes anything.

This professor is very nice. You will learn a lot in this class. You will be overwhelmed by the essays. But there easy, and she revise them many times. The tests are easy if you read the book/poem assigned. The class is mostly discussion forums on angel. She's very caring for her students.

Slack! Her class is mad easy. I took the online course and it was awesome. She's a little disorganized with how she puts her assignments out and her calendar is sometimes wrong. But everything was simple, no on campus exams and she replies quickly and clearly to your emails. Only 3 essays and she gives feedback if sometimes wrong. Take her. Easy A!

I took ENC1101 and ENC1102 and both i passed with good grades. She is very helpful and the class is simple. She is in her office and in reach if you need help with anything. I hate writing essays and she helped me without getting frustrated, oh shes very understandimg too.

Her class is easy if you pay attention and keep up w her work. She gives hw every week but it's all easy even her weekly/biweekly quizzes plus she gives tons of extra credit. She does a lot of group work tho and debates within the class but overall her class was easy.

Took this class online it was very easy & clear. Three essays and one research paper. Also, one proctor final but very easy related to grammar and essay. You have enough time to complete assignments however you do need to log into the class at least three times a week and you will never lose track. Loved this online course. Overall grade was an A.

She is really great! 2 essays, a lot of discussions and some quizes. You have to read a book, which is really interesting.

She has been such a pleasure this semester. She is so sweet! There are 3 papers but she walks you through every step of each one. The stories we read were very interesting and there is one group project which wasn't difficult at all. A lot of the people in my class were late on turning things in and not prepared and she always cut them slack.

Professor Lamazares is a really good English teacher but she will make you work. My class was half virtual so if I missed a class I'd get completely lost. The book is not necessary.

I took her ENC1101 on blackboard (online) It was pretty easy i just had to do all assignments and go to campus for a midterm the final was a research paper that any one could write because she chooses relatable topics. Considering that i probably spend less than 24 hours the whole semester doing her work i would take her again

Dr Lamazares is an outstanding professor. The online class is easy. Only two major papers and the rest is reading two books, short stories, discussion posts and quizzes. Final is an essay regarding one of the reads but she lets you know the topic ahead of time She responds to emails fast and is always there when you need help.I recommend her class.

Professor Lamazares is truly amazing! Her class is always interesting. My class was combined with blackboard so we had to read poems and short stories often and answer questions online but they were all an easy read. She is very sweet, and elegant. I will never forget her class :)

Take this class! I definitely recommend it You have 3 modules, a paper in each module, a few quizzes each module (easy, & helps you know the material) &discussion boards about the papers that help you get ideas and know how to write your paper. Final exam proctored but it is a 450 word essay. Know your due dates, do the work & you'll have an A!

This class was honestly the LEAST of my worries. Everything was simple. The modules explain exactly what you need to learn. Assignments due dates are scattered through out the week so you have to be on top of that.

Class is super easy the hardest part would be the 4 essays required but if i'm being honest it's easy as well. Just go to the writing center and she gives you extra credit and she even double checks it again. Do them or grade drops fast :/

By far the best English Professor. I have taken her for both ENC1101 and ENC1102. This class is an Easy A, I'm possible to fail unless u don't try on the assignments. she understands if you need to make something up and still gives full credit. There is not midterm there is only finals which 1102 is an essay about the stories u read towards the end

Super easy A. Read all her short novels and do the usual quizzes - you shall pass. Final was based on one of the last 5 novels that we had to read- piece of cake. Her folders had subfolders that made it very difficult kinda unorganized but if you had an questions she replied back quick. Didn't buy any text books just downloaded/ printed.

This class is an easy A. She is an amazing professor and will do all she can to help you. Also, do not stress over late assignments, she only grades what has been submitted and will still give you full points for late assignments. Lastly, there is no mid-term. Only a final essay about one of the short stories we had to read.

This class was not hard at all. The total of essays is 3 and the last one counts as a final. It had lots of quizzes and discussions all easy in most I got 100 also, she does assignments for each essay to guide you. Overall I would take again

Although she does assign a lot of homework, she gives you extra time to complete them. And since there's a lot of work, you have a lot of opportunities to get a great grade. She make's her class very enjoyable to sit in for, especially during the pandemic where it's all online. Amazing teacher and always responds when you reach out.

Professor Lamazares announcements always was positive she start her email and announcements with statements like ( " Great job on your research papers on the environment! Please see your grades and my comments.) or (I hope you are doing well. A reminder that the APA Research Paper. And she always leave us feedback on each assignment.

Easy online class. Discussions and Quizzes over the course as well as only 2 major essays. One final and no midterms. All the assignments are open from the beginning of the semester so you have time to do them at your own pace.

Don't hesitate to take her class! It was an easy A as long as you did everything by the due date. There was times she was a little unorganized and extended due dates but no complaints. She's super caring and all she asks from you is to participate. All her quizzes are T/F and based on stories/poems she assigns. Theres also no final!

Good class, caring teacher. There's homework each week but it's doable. If you have any complications you can explain and work things out. Accepts late work that won't lower your grade. Research paper to pass. For the essay and research paper, she's picky with formatting, but if you ask her about the grade she'll let you ressubmit.
