Despite a rough start, I passed the class with the help of the textbook and unstuck study. Professor is tough but fair - stay engaged and you'll learn a lot.

Nice guy, but he is out of touch with how education works these days. All grad students are urged not to engage.

Pros: No homework, just read your text books and there is a written essay style test on it at the end. Cons: His teachings come with a lot of personal bias and are offensive. Not in the philosophical/cool way, in the way that makes him sound uneducated. He abuses the "academic free speech" part of his tenured position. Doesn't use Canvas :/

Crazy Corlett, as his grad students affectionately refer to him as, was one of the best philosophy professors at sdsu. In 2002. Now he spends more time on fire talking to fire about his classes than he does teaching. The journal he founded ousted him and researchs why his research is flawed. He is so sweet but blind spots worse than Stevie wonder

DO NOT TAKE THIS please this class made me want to rip my hair out. 4 lengthy essay-style exams that are the only grades, no online resources, and most lectures are just rants. I regret taking this with every fiber of my being. Way too much for a 100s level class. Expects us to memorize his books and grades every little detail you forgot about it.
