Teaches clearly, helpful, hot

I mean, it's easy college math and Boxmeyer should already be at the top of your list because he speaks English. He always answered questions from the class and was very clear about test instructions and due dates. You don't need the book because it's online page by page. We always got out on time too which not all classes did.

I really liked Mr. Boxmeyer. He is a very good teacher and very easy to understand. He is helpful anytime you need anything. I suggest taking him for Math 112.

This class is as easy as you make it. But Boxmeyer is a really good guy whose there to help you out, all you got to do is ask. He always kept you up to date on upcoming tests and due dates as well. All around good guy! my choice again for math teacher.

Great teacher

The class sessions never seemed necessary to me, but when we had questions Mr. Boxmeyer was very helpful. Even though you don't have too much of a choice, I would recommend him without a doubt.

Mr. Boxmeyer is a really good teacher. He knows the material well and is able to teach it so its easy to understand. The material is somewhat difficult, but then again im not too good at math. I would definitely recommend Boxmeyer though!

As good of a teacher as you can have in Math 121. Boring class for any teacher.

I had to take this course for my major. Mr. Boxmeyer actually made this class interesting and worth attending. Hereally takes the time to explain and takes questions if you have them.

It was recommended to me that I take Mr. Boxmeyer for this class. I have to take 121 for my major. He is an excellent teacher and has made this class better than I had originally thought. However, if you miss class or ditch out early, he gets fairly heated. I only wish he was teaching some of my other classes.

I had Dr. Boxmeyer this Fall. This was the best math class I have ever taken since elementary school. He expects perfect attendance, and gets frustrated if you leave early. I ahd to take this class for my major. I thought it was going to be a drag, but he made it seem EZ and even intersting - if that is even possible in any math class!

Boxmeyer is a great teacher. You can tell he loves what he does and explains the material very well. He has handouts for every section and they are exactly like the homework and quizzes and are very helpful. Attendance really helps your grade, so I would recommend going to every class.. that way you get on his good side

He is a great teacher and very nice but the class is set up that you teach yourself, so it doesn't really matter that he is so nice. It's all hard because you teach yourself on the computer.

LOVE HIM!!! I had him for MATH 100 too and I plan on taking him for MATH 121. You do teach yourself since it's on the computer, but if you need help he will break it down so great for you!!

He teaches the material well. The class is all online though. Attendance is taken but if you miss every class it will only take one point off your final grade. The class itself is a lot of work, but is the same as every 121 class at UA.

This class isn't easy but Boxmeyer is a great professor. He is the one who designed the class so he is obviously the best one to take.

Do everything you can to take Boxmeyer for MATH 121 (Business Cal). He is simply outstanding. He takes what could easily be a tremendously intimidating course and clearly explains it so even non math people (like myself) can excel. He goes out of his way to simplify definitions and concepts to make sure his students do their best on tests.

The class is hard. I studied 24/7 and still made a C. He is a good teacher though.

I really like Boxmeyer. The material itself is pretty tough, but he is really good t explaining it. The quizes are harder than the test, but the study guide is exactly like the test. Only one hard test so far, but the final replaces your lowest grade. I would def recommend him! Make sure to go to class though, it really helps.

Good teacher, he will help you whenever needed. Emails you when dates have been moved and so forth.

I'm not that great at math but I thought his class was pretty easy. The lowest 3 homeworks and quizzes get dropped and so does your lowest test grade. His homework and quizzes are way harder than the tests so it makes the tests seem super easy. Everything is due online and redoable expect tests so you basically decide your grade.

Excellent math professor. I have struggled with other math professors at UA but he was very good at explaining and working through the problems.

For a class that seems difficult, he makes it very easy to understand. Print the notes and bring them to class so you can follow along with him (it helps a lot)

I loved this class, it was easy you sit a computer and teach your self through videos and practice problems. Some one will commoner and help you if you don't understand. the hours are long in the lab but they are used usefully. they way he explains things to me is super easy. he gives lots of room for improvement by having multiple drop grades.

THE EASIEST MATH CLASS!!!! I honestly don't know if it was the teacher or the course but most likely the combination of both. Great teacher, very relatable. Posts the class notes online before class so you can print them off and follow through during class. And if you miss class he uploads his notes. TAKE HIM!!! EASY A

Mr. Boxmeyer is an excellent teacher. He always went straight to the point and never wasted time. He makes extremely difficult concepts seem much easier and he was always there to help if you needed him. He does take attendance but you always get out 40 minutes early!

I LOVE THIS MAN. He is so straight forward and doesn't waste time. We got out 30-40 minutes early almost every class. There are 5 tests but you can drop your cumulative final if u do well on the first 4. He gives you the notes you need. There's also a review before each test that is IDENTICAL. TAKE HIM its such an easy class!!

Fantastic teacher, provides notes that are easy to understand and study. He always made sure to tell us to come ask him for help outside of class. Great guy, made business calc fun (as much as it can be)

He was so good at explaining concepts in a way that made sense. He was quick, didn't waste time and let us out early. He was also accessible in the math lab and wanted everyone to succeed. I got an A on my first four tests and dropped the final! I would highly recommend this class.

He is exceptional at lecturing and makes sure that EVERYONE understands the material. Math is boring, but Mr. Boxmeyer makes the material interesting and is great at applying to business applications. This class was the very first 'A' I ever earned in math EVER.

Boxmeyer was a really solid choice for MATH 121. If you have a solid base in Algebra, then you will not struggle in Business Calculus. He let class out 30-45 minutes early 90% of the time. He is straight to the point and works the examples on the notes that he has you print out. The class was not difficult, but Boxmeyer made it enjoyable and easy.

The class is based on the MTLC Dept requirements. If you complete homework, quizzes, and reviews 24 hours early, you get 10% extra credit. Combined they're 40% of your grade so the extra credit is super helpful. With the software they use, the questions on the review are the exact same format on the test (so sometimes you can memorize some answers)

Boxymeyer is the teacher to take for MATH121. You'll get out of class extremely early almost every day. Make sure to sure up to class with printed notes and take advantage of the extra credit and drop grades and you should be fine. Would recommend!

This was the easiest math class I have ever taken, and not because it was easy. Boxmeyer provides the notes ahead of time so you can print them out and bring them to class. He is thorough in explaining the examples, and you almost always get out of class early. Complete all your assignments early and earn your bonus points!

If you are anybody that hates math but has to take it, here's the class for you. He made it literally so easy for you to understand and he goes through some problems that will be on your homework and quiz. But word of advice, actually learn it and don't look at the notes and you should pass. It's not an easy A class but it can be if you try.

The tests in this class are hard but he drops the lowest of the 5 during the semester. Hes a nice guy and really easy to understand and very approachable. Homework after every class but its nothing that takes more than 30-45 mins. I would highly recommend him!!

He is such an amazing professor and will make sure you really understand the information. The homework and quizzes are online and if you finish them 24 hours before the due date you get an extra 10% added to the grade. The tests are pretty similar to the homework/quiz questions.

Boxmeyer is easy to understand, steady paced, and always asks if we have any questions along the way. He explains things well and I would say that even though attendance isn't mandatory, I suggest you still go because he only posts the "Blank notes" online, so when its time to study for a test you wanna have your notes from class. Cool guy

He's a good teacher and he knows what he is talking about. He does have a dull personality but math 121 is really hard and he explained it well. Try getting into a smaller class so you can ask more questions.

Boxmeyer is a very efficient teacher who keeps most of lectures shorter than other class I have even though he has 75 mins at his disposal. He's very approachable and pushes everyone to get extra practice if they need it. Some of the content is fairly difficult but because of the HW and test system, the class is relatively easy to pass.

TAKE BOXMEYER!!! He was great, available after class, and overall great guy. Calc is calc and it sucks but he was a good teacher and explained things very well. I highly encourage everyone to take him. You won't regret it. Also, you drop your lowest test grade so if you like your score after the 4th test you don't need to take the final!

I'm not normally a math person, but I thrived in this class. I honestly owe it all to Professor Boxmeyer. His lectures were so clear and helpful with the homework. Test material came straight from study guide. Most of the people who struggle in this course don't do the homework or attend lectures. If you do these things, it really won't be bad.

I've never taken Calculus before and this class made it seem doable and easy. He breaks down concepts very well, and goes step by step on how to work the example problems. The examples in the notes are usually the exact same to the homework assignments. Print off his notes instead of copying everything, it makes life easier for you.

Have never taken a calc class before coming to UA. Boxmeyer's lectures were great and super straight forward. His lectures directly correlate to the homework, which directly correlate to the tests. Great guy that truly knows what he is talking about

I def recommend Boxmeyer for Math 121! His class and grading is very straight and to the point. Attendance is not mandatory, but that is how you get the notes- and class is usually let out way early. He is always willing to help and explain things more in depth if needed. If you do what you are supposed to you will be just fine.

Mr Boxmeyer made what would be a boring class into a more reasonable affair. He is very clear and to the point. He explains tough concepts really well (even I could understand). Class usually lasted 50-55 minutes, and he was able to help afterwards. However, if you do not attend class, you may not pass, and he says this way too much.

DO NOT TAKE ANY OTHER MATH 121 TEACHER EXCEPT BOXMEYER!!! I know people in other classes and aren't doing well. Boxmeyer is a great teacher for a difficult course. Class is about 40-45 minutes and all of his examples come from the homework and study guides, setting you up for success! Can't say enough good things about him!! Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Boxmeyer is the best math professor I have ever had. The examples he does in class prepare you for the homework and the homework is exactly what the test questions are like! As long as you go to class and do your homework you will pass.

Took him for online. 4 tests, homework assignments along with test reviews in which I found very helpful. Extra credit was offered when assignments were turned in early. Lowest 3 hw grades, 1 test review and and 1 test was dropped in the end. Final was optional.

Very intelligent and straight forward professor. He doesn't mess around, just gets straight into the lecture. He definitely knows math, but doesn't know how to smile.

Straight forward but doesn't do too much. wish he had another way to get notes but that's what makes him respected is that you got to put in the easy effort for the grade.

Very straightforward and tells you how it is. May come across blunt or rude, but tells you what you need to do to succeed. Lectures are very easy to follow. Not mandatory but missing class will make it tough on you! Highly recommend- first math class I have been able to follow and understand in years, just takes a little effort.

Attendance isnt mandatory but it helps to go. Boxmeyer is a very straightfoward teacher and will give help if you ask. Tests count for 80% of your grade.

Boxmuncher is the teacher you want for calc 1. All the general math classes are graded the same, the only difference is who is teaching the concepts. Everyone has the same tests and the same homeworks. 2 homeworks a week, 5 total exams, one gets dropped which can be used on final. Homeworks are worth 20%, exams 80%. Math lab can help with all HW.

very easy teacher, just show up to class and do your homework and you will very easily pass. there is daily in class assignments, and if you miss you can make it up for a few points off. i'm glad i took this class.

It is great class. He is fantastic at explaining problems and teaching calc 121. However, if you miss one lecture, you will not have any clue what you are doing. Don't be worried if you are an incoming freshman taking this class, but be sure you attend every lecture and do the homework early for extra credit.

Best math professor at UA. Always respects your time and makes the lectures as short as they can while getting the material across. Would take any math course with him. W professor and W person

Very clear-cut professor, he outlines the material concisely every lecture but always explains it thoroughly. There's an attendance quiz at the end of every class, but you can usually guess the password if you really don't want to go. You have 2 attempts on all exams. Definitely recommend

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED professor Boxmeyer. Seriously, he is the best math teacher I have ever had. His lectures are extremely clear cut and he does not waste your time. We get let out of class 15-30 mins early every time. He is also personally very likable. The class is an easy A+ with a little effort toward studying.

Professor Boxmeyer is a GREAT teacher for math 100. He is clear cut and you will be able to understand his lectures. He gets right to the point! After you are done with your class work you are free to leave the class. He gives clear directions on what to do, he is the BEST math teacher I ever had and I don't even like math, I would take again!
