Professor Bodden is really sweet and really cares about psychology. His tests are all multiple choice and really easy if you study a little before them. His lectures are pretty enjoyable too, I would definitely recommend him!
Really easy class if you read the slides a few times before the test. He's really sweet and cares about your grade.
Prof is easy (30-35% A's). No h.w or quizes only 4 tests that are easy and strictly from his powerpoints which are online. Class is useless but does give out examples that sometime appear on tests. He is pretty boring though
Very easy prof. Pretty much a high school teacher that gives three exams and a final that are all multiple choice (but the easy kind). His power slides are all you need to know and class is not mandatory
What an awesome professor! His exams are all so easy. On one of them, I studied the day of the exam and made an A (although I don't recommend this). He even offers extra credit at the end of the semester. He was a little boring, but overall, I really enjoyed his class, and all you have to do is go to class and study the slides to make an A. EASY!
Take Bodden! Attendance is not mandatory but you will want to go to class. He has interesting stories from clinical experience. 4 m.c. tests. Opportunity for extra credit. Power points are posted online and come straight from the book. Easy class if you put a little effort in
Do not take this professor unless you want to teach yourself! His exams are nothings like his lectures and cover minute details from the textbook. He does not curve any tests regardless of the grade distributions. If your goal is to get into a professional school, take another professor. It isn't worth taking a potential hit to your GPA.
The course and tests were more difficult than I had been led to believe by the previous reviews. He found small details in the book to ask about on the tests. Test questions are poorly worded. Barely got a B. Getting an A requires a fair amount of work in my opinion. This was my only B of the semester.
Use the book! Most of the questions are detailed and some even come straight from the power points. The book gave me a better understanding but my grades ranged from A-C's. I barely made an A for the course with the extra credit he gave at the end! You don't have to go to class, just study the powerpoints and read!!
He's a great man, very sweet know his stuff, and keeps you interested. But don't let these rates fool you into being lazy. Study. And GO TO CLASS. Just when you think you did perfect on his exam, you end up with a C. If you go to lectures and take notes on his examples you'll be golden. Don't slack like me and only get a C in a class that could've been an easy A.
This class can be moderately easy or difficult. Focus on not only knowing the terms and theories but know how to apply them to examples. It does take effort to get an A I got a B because I let the first test screw me over. The book is your best friend in reinforcing his material. Most people read the book before lecture I read it afterwards. READ!
One of the most boring classes I have ever taken. It's a shame when professors make their lectures so dry that the subject matter is not even interesting anymore.
Easy tests but only if you read the chapters. I made A's on all of them. Just read and memorize the material. Lots of online quizzes that can sometimes be annoyingly vague and have opinion questions. I hardly went to class. It isn't mandatory. His class was overall fairly easy. Dr. Bodden is very passionate about psychology for sure.
His lectures are easy to follow and he keeps you interested. He let us out off class 30 minutes early every class period and cancelled our Friday classes. I never had to go to him for help, but he seems like the type to be very helpful and understanding. He also added 10 point to our quiz average. I would definitely take his class again.
This professor was absolutely amazing! It started out rough to adjust to his online quizzes every week but I have an A in his class and only go to about half of the lectures! If you just read the chapter and go over the lectures he posts at the beginning of the semester, you're golden.
Lectures are interesting and funny, MWF classes don't meet on Friday. Show up to class, look over your notes, and read the chapters and you'll do fine. Online quizzes are generally easy, however, some questions are somewhat poorly written. He adjusts the quiz grades at the end of the year to make up for this. All tests are MC
I read the textbook everyday before class, but really the tests were not very difficult and you could just pay attention in class and get a solid B. Dr. Bodden has years of experience and he talks about it in lecture, yet I feel the book taught me just as much if not more than he did. Not a hard A at all. Overall a pretty enjoyable class.
TAKE PROFESSOR BODDEN. I absolutely loved this class! MW classes get out 30 minutes early and MWF classes don't meet on Fridays. His lectures are EXTREMELY interesting and useful and he posts his lecture slides. I never really read and it was an easy B. His tests aren't bad and he posts practice quizzes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Class isn't mandatory and you really don't learn much if you go. Class is so boring, and you spend more time finishing the studies than actual class work.
Dr. Bodden is a very kind and interesting man in class. However, he is there to teach class and go home. No desire to help you in office hours. Definitely not a blow off class, but tests are straight from the book and online resources. Tests are easily worded so you either know it or don't. Attendance is not mandatory. No tutoring offered.
Bodden's lectures are entertaining but not necessary. For the tests: Read the textbook chapters and memorize all VOCAB. The tests are very easy. He also offers extra credit! Overall he's a very nice guy and a good teacher
Has 10 quizzes, some are hard and some are easy but at the end he gives a quiz adjustment to make up for the hard ones. Also gives up to 3 points for the overall grade. The tests are pretty straight forward, just know ALL the vocabulary words and people. He isn't very specific with what to know which makes it hard to know everything.
Dr. Bodden is AWESOME! I loved his class so much that I'm actually switching my major to psychology. The tests are relatively easy if you read the book and the online sources he gives you. Attendance isn't mandatory but I found the lectures really interesting and it was nice to have notes to refer to when studying. Would definitely recommend!
I rarely went to class and made As on my exams. His test questions are straight off the slides. In lectures he just reads off the slides so attendance is not really mandatory. 10 quizzes, 1 each week. Dont forget to take them because the quiz average ends up counting for as much as an exam! I could have had an A if it wasn't for the quiz avg
Bodden was awesome! Test were so easy! Just go to class and listen to lecture and you will make As. The quizzes were hard, but he added 10 points to them at the end of the semester. Take him!
Overall decent professor! You don't need to read at all, just go to lecture, take notes, & make flashcards over the key terms. The online quizzes are fairly easy, but some are poorly worded (he curves this to make up for it). MWF classes don't meet on Friday! I usually didn't get responses to my emails so little help there. Take Bodden if you can!
If you take this class, be prepared to teach yourself. Bodden is a great person but his tests do not reflect the materials he covers in class. He can be boring at times, but he is passionate about what he teaches- even if what he teaches is not on the exam.
Dr. Bodden was my favorite professor of the semester. His exams were straight forward and directly from his lecture slides, they're very easy to make an A on as long as you know key terms. His lectures are interesting because he uses many relatable examples to help you understand concepts and he's a very sweet and funny man!
Lectures are great! Bodden is very knowledgeable about psychology and he even cracks a few jokes here and there. Very lighthearted professor and is available after class for questions. He posts notes online but going to class makes everything seem a lot more clear. Tests are pretty easy. If you are interested in psychology, you'll love this course.
He is a great prof. His test are strictly the powerpoints! He cancels all Friday classes for the semster and attendance is not mandatory. He is so funny and loves dogs i swear there is a dog on every single one of his powerpoints. TAKE HIM.
Fun lectures, usually tries to really get you interested and relate everything in the best possible way.
Loved Bodden! He gives 4 exams & 10 online quizzes. The quizzes are pretty hard, but he gave us bonus points. Exams are straight from the book & power points. He doesn't take attendance & no class on Fridays! Definitely recommend!
If you go over the powerpoints, take the online quizzes, and know the vocab, the tests are pretty easy A's. He gives online quizzes every week that add up to be a test grade so take those with friends to make good grades. No class on Friday. Gives a powerpoint presentation that can up your average by 3 points. Don't have to go to class to make an A
Dr. Bodden is a great prof and as long as you read the textbook, you will do just fine. I probably went to class a total of 5 times and I still got a good grade. There are weekly quizzes, but they are a piece of cake. Make sure to do your studies EARLY - you'll thank yourself later. Final is not cumulative.
Professor Boden is an overall good professor. He has a lot knowledge for psychology and shows passion for the subject. I would definitely recommend taking the online quizzes with friends because they're tricky! Also, he offers an extra credit assignment at the end of semester, but don't count on it because there isn't a specific rubric.
Dr. Bodden's class is very enjoyable. He has so much experience in the field of psychology and tells great stories. His lectures are very engaging as he provides a lot of examples in order to elaborate on certain topics. The online quizzes were kind of tough but he curves them towards the end of the semester. The exams are super easy.
His exams are out of the book(read that thoroughly)so going to class is not a necessity, but he does give important information there. He takes forever to reply to emails and you have to beg your heart out if you would like help in the class. His quizzes have many grammar mistakes and are not the easiest. Overall the class was okay.
He's a nice guy and his lectures are fun and interesting. Huge posts the notes online do you don't have to go to class but you will have to study if you want a good grade.
His lectures come straight from the textbook, and he post them on line, so class is not mandatory. As long as you study the online slide shows, you shouldn't have a problem passing and making at least a B. I would def recommend taking his class!
This class was very easy, and actually pretty interesting. The tests are very straight forward, and going to class isn't even necessary to get an A as long as you read the textbook and study that.
Teaches straight from slides that he posts on ecampus, but attendance is still beneficial. Really interesting lectures and always had good examples for key terms. Tests were a little tough and no matter how hard I tried, I could never make an A on an exam. Online quizzes are given often. Overall great professor, but class was a bit challenging.
If you choose to actually read then the class will be a breeze. I didn't read and was able to scrape by with an easy C.
I thought his lectures were sometimes boring but I would suggest taking him. It's an easy A if you read the book! He gives somewhat easy quizzes online once a week. You don't really have to attend his lectures because he posts the powerpoints online.
I would have easily gotten an A in the course if I would have studied even a little bit for the first quiz and exam. You take a quiz every week and then an exam over 3 of the chapters. I definitely studied for the tests but they weren't very hard. Also gives an extra credit project for 3 points to your average. I'd take him again.
His class was easily the most enjoyable I've had yet. It is super easy to get an A as long as you read the chapters which are very enjoyable. He is very funny and enjoyable
Dr. Bodden was a great prof. Although his lectures could sometimes get boring, he tries his best to make them as interesting as possible. If you go to class and take good notes (be sure to write down stuff he says that isn't on the slide) then yu should for sure get an A. Would take again.
If you want an easy A, Dr. Bodden isn't for you, but if you really want to learn the material, take him! His lectures are really interesting, and even though he speaks softly, I never lost focus because of the way he presented the material. Tests aren't that difficult, but you should expect to study. He is a very helpful and considerate prof.
Dr. Bodden is awesome!! If you're looking for a "show up and pass" class, he's not for you. Attendance isn't mandatory, and you don't HAVE to read the book, but I showed up and read and made A's on all the tests. I loved his class so much I actually switched my major to psychology! He is really funny and overall a great guy. Definitely recommend!
His class is pretty easy if you listen to the lectures and study before the test. The only bad thing is he gives 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester, but you can usually guess when they will be. His lectures can be long but he makes them interesting and funny. I would definitely take him again!
Really awesome prof. Not an easy course, but it helps that its very clear-cut from the book AND it's really interesting. He shares a lot of personal experience, very knowledgable guy. Would definitely take his class again. I would have gotten an A if it wasn't for the 10 T/F quizzes, that eventually account for one test grade.
He's great! Had it as an 8 AM MWF class- he never had class on fridays and attendance was optional the rest of the time. Interesting guy, tests are easy. Take him!
If you plan on taking him be prepared for his sass and unprofessionalism. No extra credit, he only has 4 exams. Pay attention to details, his exams can be tricky. Attendance isn't mandatory but if he finds out you didn't go to class once he is incredibly rude and unhelpful.
This was definitely not an easy course but if you dedicate time & effort you should make a good grade. He gives 10 T/F quizzes throughout the semester which most likely occur at the end of every chapter so you know when to study. There's a powerpoint assignment which can add 3 points onto your final grade. My test grades were never lower than a 85.
Despite previous semesters, I had a MWF class with him that met every single day. I made a B in the class, which as disappointing because the subject matter wasn't difficult. His tests were always a little too vague for me and the choices seemed to blend together. He now gives pop quizzes in class. Do not miss these. They add up to a test grade.
He's a super sweet man. Puts pictures of his dogs on powerpoints. He is soft spoken so I would sit near the front and his lectures can get kind of dry.
Super nice and funny guy, but class wasn't easy and wouldn't take him again. There are 10 random pop quizzes throughout the semester that add up to a test grade. You have to read the entire chapter to do well on tests. If you like psychology you'd probably like him, but I wouldn't take him again.
His lectures aren't the most interesting, but he gives lots of examples that really helped me remember the material. He also gives 10 pop quizzes a semester that add up to 1 exam grade, so you can't skip or you might miss a quiz. Exams are pretty straight forward, but he occasionally asks some tricky questions. He really cares about his students!
Dr. Bodden really cares about what he's lecturing about. The lectures can get a little dull at times but definitely not the most boring class ever. I read the textbook to review for tests but I don't think it'd be necessary to pass them. He does give 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester, so you'll need to go to class.
I really enjoyed this prof and this class. He mad the lectures interesting, and I actually enjoyed going to class. I loved his stories that went along with the lectures. He gives alot of pop quizzes so you have to go to all of the lectures. The exams were a tad difficult, but as long as you study, you should be fine. Overall, really really enjoyed!
Dr. Bodden is a great professor! You could tell in his lectures that he actually has an interest/passion for what he teaches. He has chapter reviews online which if you study, you'll be fine. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he has pop quizzes that add up to a test grade. If you show up to class and pay attention, there's no way you don't make an A.
LOVED this prof! He's such a sweet professor that has so much experience in the field of Psychology and he is very interesting. The quizzes can be a little tricky, but the tests are really easy if you study, I got high A's on all of them. If you need to take Psych, take Bodden!! I'd say attendance is mandatory because of the pop quizzes.
I did learn a lot. His lectures teach you a ton and most of the time they are pretty fun. He always talks about his dogs and is very kind. You do have to spend about 7 hours participating in research experiments to get credit for the class and you get no grade for that and that kinda stinks. Ten pop quizzes that are pretty hard. Exams are moderate
Took in Spring 2015. Good prof, tests are hard.
I really enjoyed his lectures and appreciate that he tries to make them interesting. To pass the tests you just need to memorize all the terms he talks about. He gives ten pop quizzes throughout the year that add up to a test grade. Although attendance is not mandatory you definitely don't want to risk missing a quiz.
He's great! He does have pop quizzes, but they are always at the end of each chapter covered, so you'll know when they are coming. Lectures can be sometimes boring and sometimes interesting. Exams are fairly easy, but you do need to read the textbook because it's helped me. Overall, he's very nice and a good professor!
Dr. Bodden is so sweet! Lectures are mildly interesting, posts powerpoint and review material on ecampus, no homework besides keeping up to date on material for pop quizzes!
Dr. Bodden is by far my favorite professor at Texas A&M. He is an entertaining lecturer and his pop quizzes are easy (p.s. they are at the end of each chapter). His exams are composed of both lecture and chapter reading, but they are straight forward and super easy.
He is such a great prof., he's adorable, loves psych, always willing to help, engaged in the lecture and really wants to help you out. You DONT need the textbook, honestly his ecampus powerpoints are fine. If you show up to class that really helps. He'll have random quizzes at the end of every chapter. The exams are based on the ppt and lecture.
speaking as a freshman he is my fav. prof here yet, and his lectures are pretty interesting since he gives a lot of examples of his own experiences when explaining the terms. Attendance is mandatory only at the end of each chapter since that is when he gives out 5 question pop quizzes that are T/F. Take good notes, and you'll do good!
Best psychology professor ever! I got a C in the class because in the beginning of the semester I did not utilize his online PowerPoint slides over the chapters that included test reviews. Do yourself a favor and utilize the PowerPoint slides instead of buying the textbook. I hated the pop quizzes - review the slides and you'll be good.
He has been teaching for a while. He is good professor but his lectures can be quite boring. There are 10 pop quizzes that make up a test grade. They can be predicted, but are challenging. The tests aren't bad as long as you study for them and remember small details. It is an easy B, but hard A. Study and it is possible to do well!!
Sweet man who loves psychology. Gives personal life examples. 10 quizzes, so show up to class. Tests are easy if you study his lecture powerpoints. You do not need the book. Work on your psychology studies and your own powerpoint early, the extra 3 points helps! eCampus powerpoints are different from lecture powerpoints. Easy B, doable A.
Dr. Bodden was awesome. He is a sweet older man and his real world experience stories made the subject really interesting. Random pop quizzes mean you need to go to class but the tests really aren't too hard if you pay attention. Take him if you're willing to go to class for an easy A/B.
Older ratings might tell you that you don't have class on Friday. Just a warning, that's not true anymore. Great guy, nice and approachable. His pop quizzes were tricky even if you did pay attention/read, but the tests aren't too bad. Pop quizzes killed me, and I didn't prepare well for the 1st test. Tough A, but not a hard B if you pay attention.
Dr Bodden was a good professor. His lectures weren't too bad. Psychology isn't a boring topic either so it was pretty easy to pay attention in class. Do the practice exams in the textbook they help a little. Watch out for his pop quizzes, that messed me up. Overall not a bad prof.
He was a very approachable man and I enjoyed this class. He made the material interesting and he was not too tough to take. I would take him again. The book is not necessary if you come to class and print the notes.
I've really enjoyed Dr. Bodden's class. You can tell he really loves what he teaches, which makes lectures enjoyable. He has pop quizzes but averages them up and drops the lowest grade at the end of the semester. If you study a little for the tests and pay attention in class you should have no problem making an A!
Professor Bodden is awesome. He is well-respected and very kind. He always put pictures of his dogs on his lecture slides, so that's a plus. There are 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester, but they're not hard as long as you pay attention in lecture. He drops the lowest quiz grade at the end too. I bought the book, but rarely used it.
This is one of the best professors I've had at A&M. Hilarious and tests are super easy, final is noncumulative. Only drawback is the 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester that count as a test grade at the end. The quizzes are easy if you glance at the powerpoints beforehand.
Bodden is a great choice for this required class. His tests were super easy and totally by the book. Show up to class everyday, because he has random pop quizzes, but hey're easy. He was really flexible with me when I missed classes for family emergencies. His lectures are a little dry, but he is funny and shows pictures of his dog.
GREAT PROF. Everyone said "take schumacher if you can" but Bodden is just as good - plenty of experience and great lectures that are easy to understand the material. Go to class bc theres 10 pop quizzes (5 q's, true/false) throughout the semester that highly determine final grade. The PP presentation gave me +3% on final grade so i finished w/ an A
Dr. B is literally the cutest, sweetest man in the world! I loved his class, it was so interesting and easy if you study! I made A's on all the tests and I only studied his powerpoint that he posts. 4 tests, no final. 3 points added to final grade for ppt project. He talks about his dog a lot which rocks. The best Psych prof by far!! Take him!!
I rarely read the textbook because his tests are almost entirely based on the lecture. His doesn't keep track of attendance but if you don't know what he says in the lectures, you'll struggle on the tests. He's incredibly kind but occasionally the lectures can be a little dull. He does share fun stories about his many years of clinical experience.
Dr. Bodden is an amazing professor because of his many years of clinical experience. He knows SO MUCH about the field of psychology. Therefore, this class is super jam-packed with information and can be very difficult at times. It is really interesting information though so it is worth taking it! He tells lots of awesome stories. AND HE LOVES DOGS
Although Dr. Bodden is a great person, his class was really tough because of all the information that was being thrown at us. I read the book the first test and did horrible, but after self-studying and not going to class, I improved so much. I read through the powerpoints myself and did so much better than if I had gone to class.
Not the most interesting lecturer and not the most interesting subject material. He is very knowledgeable and I'm sure he is a good fit for some. I had him at 8AM and found it hard to pay attention so I didn't do well on a lot of the in-class pop quizzes. Tests were also semi-difficult. You will also have to be a part of psych studies to pass.
Good professor but definitely not an easy A. There are four tests and they are difficult and quite detailed. The test averages are usually in the 70s so you will have to study quite a bit for an A.
Class is very boring, but necessary. Class is not mandatory, but will help you on exams. Exams are very detailed, pay attention to theories used for each disorder. Reading the textbook isn't necessary but helps emphasize material learned in class. Only grades are exams. Wouldn't take him again, but not bad if you must take him.
Dr. Bodden is a great professor, only 4 tests and 1 extra credit assignment that gave a 5 point curve to your overall average. His lectures were very interesting and he is very knowledgeable about the subject. He'd always post cute pictures of his dog on the slides.
Very very sweet and funny man, but class is extremely boring and it is hard to focus. Only grades are 4 extremely detailed tests and one extra assignment that has the ability to add 3 points to your grade if done perfectly.
Bodden is a sweet man, but his lectures are a bit dry. He reads solely off of a powerpoint, and doesn't elaborate on much. I have to study a lot outside of class for tests and he does not provide a review. He does offer an extra credit project, and the requirements are thoroughly explained.
Awesome prof! Posts slides but lectures are definitely worth going to. Super knowledgeable
I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!! Take Bodden! He's seriously so sweet and interesting. Very inspiring.
Final grade is 4 test scores averaged together. Read he would give pop quizzes but haven't experienced any. Required project that won't hurt your grade as long as you do it, but has the potential to add points to your average. TA offered review sessions for tests. Basic course.
Dr. Bodden was a pretty good professor. He wasn't outstanding but he taught the material and used some clinical applications. The tests were a little detailed but if you go over all his lecture slides before the exam and UNDERSTAND the material, you should do fine (no textbook). I went to most every lecture and thought they were somewhat helpful.
He is so sweet and smart. Class is not mandatory and exams are fair and not too difficult.
I really liked Dr. Bodden and the class was fairly easy, but I still studied hard for them. My only complaint is that his lecture slides were really cluttered and confusing so you never know what to write down. Overall a fun class!
Dr. Bodden made intro to psych really fun! He truly cares about his students and their success. You can tell that he loves psychology and that makes his lectures so much more fun and interesting. He uses real life examples to explain things, and pictures of his dog are always in the power points! Use the quizzes in the book and reviews to study!!
Dr. Bodden is an awesome psych prof! He has such wise advice, experiences, and view points, that he makes the course super interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I recommend it, because the way he explains the information makes it stick. His exams are mostly vocab based, so make sure to study vocab that he presents!
I looked forward to coming to class each day because Dr. Bodden made the lectures so interesting. There was never a boring day in class because of all of his stories and pictures of his dog in his notes. Don't bother buying the book just take notes along with his powerpoint. 4 exams including a non cumulative final.
Professor Bodden is a wonderful professor. He is a great lecturer and tries hard to keep you engaged. He is really nice and allows a nice opportunity to raise your grade mid-semester. Tests are not bad if you know how to study and pay attention in class and when you read.
Dr. Bodden was a sweethearted professor who really cares for the spreading of the psychology field. He genuinely cares about his students and had interesting lectures. He gave lots of examples in his lectures and always showed pictures of his dogs. Very caring and would always expand on topics if asked after class. Extremely experienced in psych.
Dr. Bodden is such a great professor/guy! His lectures are interesting and he always puts picture of his dog in slideshow. He really wants you to learn about psychology and do well in the course. You can get by with not going to all the classes because all of the information taught is based on the textbook. Overall, enjoyed this class a lot!
There's 4 exams (50 MC, non cumulative final) with an extra credit project that can REALLY help you. He enjoys psychology and is just a very nice person. If you study vocab and take notes on the powerpoints you stand a good chance of getting an A. TIP- invite others and make a communal google doc everyone can take notes at the same time.
He was a very sweet old man. He mostly just went off the lecture slides but he would give some stories to relate the material to. As long as you study(!), you will excel on the tests (using textbook is helpful). There is an easy project at the end that can boost your overall average 5 points.
He's a sweet man and really cares about his subject and students. Lectures are a little dry, but attendance isn't mandatory. Would recommend reading the book because tests are pretty close to what is in the book. Overall a great prof who is super helpful outside of class and cares a lot for students.
Cares about his students and is passionate about what he teaches. His tests are mostly lecture based but reading the book helps a lot. Grades are based on 4 tests and a simple project so be sure to do well on all of them. Lots of material so this class requires a good amount of studying before each exam.
If you are even the slightest bit interested in psych, take him!! Taking this class freshman year really helped shape my study habits for the years to come. Prof Bodden has been one of my favorite profs and I really enjoyed learning from him. Your class grade is based on 4 exam grades and an extra credit assignment (which helps a lot).
I loved this class! While lectures are kind of dry, he has lots of great stories. Didn't use the textbook, but I did go to every class and took good notes. Only grades are 3 tests and noncumulative final. Tests aren't too bad, but definitely study! Really enjoyed going to class. Super chill and laid back guy.
Prof. Bodden is a really sweet old man. Attendance isn't mandatory, nor do you really need to go to class, but his lectures can be very interesting. Tests were challenging but nothing out of the ordinary, and there's a project that can get you 3 points extra on your final average. As far as professors go, he's a solid choice!
Solid choice. Lectures aren't mandatory, but they give you the notes to do well on the tests. 4 tests make up your grade, as well as an assignment that can add 3 points to your average. You will have to study for the tests, but most of it is pretty straightforward if you study and go to class. Sweet professor, but some lectures are dry.
He is a very caring guy. You can either go to class or read the book to prepare for the tests. I would recommend him if you have any interest in taking PSYC 107
He is overall a great professor and really kind! We had one test that everyone did bad on and he curved it by 4 points. This is not a blow off class and does take studying if you want to make an A or a B. There is a project, 14 hours worth of research studies, and 4 tests that make up your grade in the class so the exams are really important!
