VERY good teacher, easy class, easy A

Very easy and exciting. Learned more than any class. Very easy A.

He is very, very easy. Goes off on a lot of unrelated tangents, but in the end, the material still comes together. The class is very interactive and there is not a lot of work. All of the work is busy work. Don't let the 80 page syllabus scare you.

Very boring class, but soooooo easy. He rambles about nothing for the first part of the class and eventually you may learn one new concept at the end of class. No tests, I reccommend if you can handle being bored.

I love this guy! A lot of fun! He knows his stuff, and if he doesn't know it he will find someone who does. He has huge connections. He will help you get the best job you can, he is a wealth of knowledge and connections. Never a dull moment.

One of the greatest teachers I have ever had! Brillant man who treats his students like they are adults. The worst part about this class are the snotty-undergrads who too immature to appreciate this mans persona. Try out his style of note taking,it'sgreat

such an easy class. just show up, and pretend youre interested. all tests are done in groups. grades papers very easily. lots of chances for extra credit. i put in little effort and its very very easy.

Great teacher, Fun to participate. Not a jerk by any means. Treats you like people should be treated. Work is very easy and re-submittable. Yes, that's right folks you can turn in your assignments again and again. An easy A.

I LOVE Dr. Cole! If I do not learn how to be a better teacher from him, than at least I might learn how to be a more inspirational person, and this is an integral part of teaching. I love listening to him; his hopefulness and dedication warm my heart.

I honestly learned more about little tidbits rather than procedures. But u know what i have my whole teaching career to learn the procedure i find his class to be very useful in the little things that we take for granted. I hate how people judge him before they actually take his class. TAKE HIM!!!

Complete waste of time and money. Did not even teach reading. Rather, he likes to teach business models, mass psychology, and self help. He thinks that they can apply to anything.

Complete waste of time. yeah we really didn't do any work, but taking notes on helpful hints isn't something worth sitting an hour and 40 minutes for. take him if you want an easy a, but if you want to really prepared for the next step in teaching take neubert - she wrote the book.

I had Dr. Cole for two classes. He is a great mentor and guy. He goes beyond being a teacher, that is why I use the word "mentor" in the true sense of the word. He treats his students with respect and is always there for questions about the class and teaching. Hey! I took him twice. Judge for yourself.

You are lucky if you have an opportunity to take a class with Cole. Easy A. I learned more with him than I have in any other college course, while doing the least amount of actual work. He's a genius.

Probably one of the best professors at Towson. Not a lot of work. Class is very interesting. He's a great dude. Very nice. Very helpful. Allows you to grow as an individual. AWESOME!

I ditto a lot of what has been said. His 2ndry reading/writing class is EASY as far as homework/finals are concerned. However, the lectures are PAINFULLY long and BORING. He is a nice guy and has a lot of useful tips, but I did not learn much about teaching reading and writing other than the DRL.

This guy is one of the smartest men I've met. All of these folks leaving comments about "tangents" just don't get it. Seems like they want to be spoon fed. Dr. Cole is a very motivating empowering prof. He encourages self starting- thinking for ones self. I got SO much out of this class, I pity those who claimed to have not. TAKE HIS COURSE!!!

Dr. Cole is an excellent professor. If you enjoy class discussion, this is the class for you. He encourages and is open to everyone's ideas. He knows everyone by name and by the end of the year the class feels like a family. If you love to teach, take this class. If you take this class and do not like it then you probably should'nt be a teacher

Very fun class.

It is obvious that Dr. Cole loves what he does. He truly cares about his students and their accomplishments. He allows you to turn in assignments late when necessary, but I would avoid doing so because it's easy to fall behind. He expects quality work, but allows you to resubmit assignments if you weren't satisfied with your original grade.

I LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Dr. Cole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My only FAVORITE professor!!!! He tends to ramble but he's such a sweet person. The Reading Reactions can be a bit annoying but it's not hard. He lets you turn work in however many times until you get a 100. If you don't get an A in this class you aren't right in the head.

I LOVED Dr. Cole. I took him for a winter minimester. He laid the work out nicely. He was very fair with work and flexible. Lets you turn work in as many times as you want until you get a 100%. He taught me not only about ethics of teaching but also life lessons I will use throughout my teaching career. I recommend him for any SCED course. Thanks!

THE best professor I've taken, he wants you to learn from mistakes so you can fix you papers and turn them back in to him until you get A. you must have problem if you can't get B or higher in his class

Dr. Cole is a great professor. Even if your major has nothing to do with Education, you will learn from this class. He is a very very nice and understanding guy. He lets you redo every assignment you turn in to improve your grade it helps you actually learn! He also lets you use your phone in class. Be professor I've had.

Dr. Cole is quite an interesting professor. He can be really funny but he is not a very sensitive teacher. He is encouraging but doesn't usually encourage different viewpoints. I would recommend him because he is pretty nice and fun but he isn't perfect.

Most encouraging and inspiring professor I've had. I swear this man has done everything in his life. He is the kind of professor you want to take time to talk to after the first class. Once he feels like you really care, then he will do anything to help you succeed. Have stayed in touch with him and would gladly take another class taught by him

Absolutely wonderful Professor. He is very interesting and teaches you life lessons that you can take with you. If you have the chance to take him you would be lucky.

His lectures can be boring, but there are some interesting discussions to be had with the subject matter. You can re-do any of the assignments and hand them back in for a better grade. There are no tests, just one group project at the end of the semester. He seems intimidating at first but is one of the most chill teachers I've ever had.

Dr. Cole is a wise man and great at what he does. I enjoyed going to his class because it went by so fast and the room was always open for discussion. There are a good amount of assignments due weekly for the first half of the course, and two projects due at the end of the semester. I would definitely recommend taking any class with him.

Lovvedd this class, took it as a mini-mester and he really made it worth while. Gives pretty minimal outside work but a lot of stuff is done in class so definitely attend every one Super enthusiastic, I'm not even an education major and enjoyed it. Really modern and doesn't get mad at cell phones or computers, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr. Cole cares about his students and their futures. He is my favorite professor I have ever had! At first, I was so nervous to take his class over the summer. We used the entire textbook ($8, 8 Chapters) for the first two weeks and had two presentations. This class is definitely an easy A and you can revise anything you turn in!

Dr, Cole is a character, to say the least. He's intimidating at first glance, but once you get comfortable you realize how awesome he is. The class consists of a few pretty easy projects and some group work. Show up and do the work, you'll get an A. Dr. Cole spends a lot of time teaching you life lessons and is really invested in his students.

I love this professor! He is funny, respectable, caring, and he clearly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He is so encouraging, he really boosted my self- esteem. You have to participate; he will get you to open up. There is alot of teamwork and discussion. He writes helpful comments on returned papers and gives good feedback.

Dr. Cole is a great professor, and I have learned a lot from him in a very short period of time. I took The SCED 304 winter class. We met 5 times, for 7 and a half hours each meeting. Yikes... But the majority of the class time is spent discussing ethical cases and listening to his insight on teaching and life, so the day goes quick. I'd take again

Great professor! On the first day he lets you know how to get an A in his class! He really makes the class worth every penny. He makes sure you walk out of his class every day with new knowledge. Do the work well and you'll get an A.

If you take professor cole's class, you would wish he taught all your classes at Towson. I'd recommend him to any one that needs an ethics class.

Dr Cole is a great teacher, aware of the demands of students and totally transparent with everything he does. Not only does he give great, funny lectures that are educational, he will also admit when he's wrong, and gives you bonus chances to get a 100% on every assignment. As long as you pay attention and go to class it's a smooth ride.

Dr. Cole is an amazing professor and really tries to get everyone to get an A. There is a lot of work, but he walks you through the case analysis and the topic presentations are very easy to do. He seems like a hardass but is really nice and helps you get extra points all the time.

He is everything that you could ask for in a professor. He tries to spook you with a big syllabus at the start of the semester but the syllabus is literally every handout you get for the semester.

Took this as my ethics core and it was the easiest class I've ever taken at Towson. the syllabus is 100 pages, filled with a straight forward outline you'll need to know for the course. Work can be turned in whenever and resubmitted, Textbook is online as a pdf (so don't buy it) Class has 2 presentations, with case analysis.

Dr. Cole is an amazing professor and I would certainly take him again in a heartbeat. You will learn so much more than content in his class, rather you will learn about yourself and essential, personable skills. He wants all of his students to succeed and learn how to become a professional through structured classwork and discussions.

Prof. Cole is a character. He is so nice and gives the best feedback. Participate in class, and put effort into your work, you'll be totally fine. It took me a while to figure out exactly what he wanted and how he operated, my entire class was confused for weeks but its gotten easier as weeks have passed. Assignments aren't hard, just can be vague.

In the beginning, you will be CONFUSED! However, it all gets better after the first week. You will have plenty of assignments and about 3 projects to complete. You have the option to resubmit assignments and he gives good feedback. You will need to participate, take notes, and complete daily summaries of each class. Dont worry, its a good class.

I loved having professor Cole. He is a very nice person and wants you to succeed and is very understanding. It may seem like a lot at first but it's all reasonable and if you have any questions he is very accessible by email. Would love to have him again and enjoyed the class.

I cannot explain to you how much I love this man. He's chill and FUNNYYY, just turn in your stuff and you will be completely fine. There is a lot of assignments but they take no time at all. When you first get the syllabus/emails it seems so intimidating but do not let it scare you, he is the BEST!!

I LOVEDDDD Professsor Cole's SCED 304. He is literally the most attentive, caring, and slightly funny professor. He actually reads the things you turn in and teaches you things that you will eventually end up using in your lifetime. Even if you're not an education major, I would DEFINITELY take this class.

Professor Cole is a very good professor. At the beinging of the semester your given a group, group work is due about every week for maybe a month or so. Prof lets you make up any work for a higher grade and also takes late work. Not too much homework and I would really recommend.

Dr. Cole is easily the coolest professor i have ever had in my college career. You will be confused at first because of how he has you submit work but its easy. The syllabus looks super intimidating but it really is not hard at all. Almost all work is done in groups, which each person gets separate points for. Just stay on top of the minimal work.

I took SCED 304 during fall 2020 so it was all online, and he truly was an awesome professor. The syllabus looked confusing and hard, but through out classes he explains it and the work is actually really easy and done mostly in groups. He also takes the time to learn your name and you get to know your classmates as well.

Professor Cole is a good guy, the class was fun and collaborative. The syllabus seems really confusing at first but stick with it and he will explain everything, and you can always email him if you have questions. The workload was very reasonable if you keep up with it.

Professor Cole is the best non- traditional teacher. His class is extremely easy; however, you still learn a ton. I took this class for a core requirement. His syllabus is overwhelming at first, but he explains it as he goes. He has 2 presentations and 7 basic reading questions throughout the year. He is a lenient grader and gives good feedback.

Dr. Cole is my favorite professor so far at Towson. I cannot stress enough how easy this class is like if you don't get an A or A- something is wrong. His class is so chill and easy all you have to do is show up and listen to him for about an hour or so and it's chill. He's a delicate and precious old man.

His class is very welcoming and will love it if you participate. He does have a good amount of work, but its not even close to hard! I wish I could have him again for next year!!

Professor Cole is awesome. He is a really funny man and tries to lighten up his lectures since they are 3 hours long. The work was not hard at all. As long as you read the assigned readings and complete the assignments then you should be fine. He gives feedback through email and doesn't post grades on Blackboard so keep up with your grades.

TAKE DR COLE!!!!! Really will learn a lot about yourself. The syllabus is overwhelming when you see it for the first time but TRUST ME, it is totally manageable and overwhelming at all. Dr Cole breaks everything down and you have plenty of time to complete tasks (which are all very manageable). He is also so funny

once a week for 3 hours the lectures are long but he lets u do whtevr. He's super chill and gives you PLENTY of time to complete assignments. There are a lot of readings which you can skim and the class itself is super easy. Attendance is very important. You can only miss 1 class or your grade drops a letter grade he really cares about his students
