No homework. Difficult lectures. Provided fill-in notes; was still hard to completely follow in class. Personally, needed a tutor to do well. The lectures just weren't detailed enough. Tests are kinda difficult, but made easier by fact that he provides past tests and that they are similar. He's a caring guy. Take if u can't find another professor.

My favorite teacher of all time. Very passionate about the art of chemistry. His lectures are extremely fast paced; don't miss a class! To pass, all you need to do is: Read the notes before lecture. Focus on the practice exams! (They're EXACTLY like the tests!!!!) Go to SI sessions and office hours. He WILL be there for you! Good luck!

Of all the organic professors, he gives the most clearest explanation to stuff. He also has a sense of humor and is easy to relate to if you get to know him. The class was difficulty but if you go to office hours and study regularly outside of class, you'll do great. He's also a people's person and doesn't act like a “PhD-Knkw it All”

Professor Duff is an excellent lecturer. He has teaching oChem down to a science! This is a very difficult class, but he posts lots of practice exams from previous years and the information doesn't change much so you really know what you need to know to do well

Really nice guy. Content in class was hard to follow, but I think that's just OChem. Offered lots of help, practice quizzes and old tests. I would get a tutor or find something else to help study because just following lecture is not going to help you pass.

Lectures were fast paced fill-in notes instead of power points, which made it extremely difficult to catch up if you missed a day. Overall a great professor but I personally had to spend a lot of time outside of class studying to stay on pace. Schedules in class quizzes, D2L quizzes, 4 in-class exams and a final

Very good at explaining tough concepts in organic chemistry and held a good amount of office hours. Did not post nearly any notes for such a hard class (the only posted notes are completely fill-in, so DO NOT miss class!), and 75% of the total grade was exams.
