Barone is truly the worst professor I've ever had. My GPA is 3.7 and I had to drop his course. He is mean to the students and puts you down if you ask questions. He acts like a smart ass all the time. If I could I'd get a lot of people to sign a petition and get him out of Baruch. Shame on him, he doesn't belong there. Take someone else.

This guy doesn't isn't a professor to teach, he's there to make you feel like dumb a**. Don't miss any classes, or be late! It's a self teach course. Even when you ask questions, his answers are more confusing then the lessons. Don't take him, take Hartley.

He is an arrogant know-it-all who loves to put down students if they don't ask the right questions or even enough questions. He intimidates and discourages. I averaged a 3.4 last semester and now I come out of his class with a C+. Please, please, please don't ever take this guy. Worst professor I ever had.

He is very unclear while teaching, makes to many mistakes, spends to much time on HW which doesnt help, I would rather him spend it on actual lessons for once. Understanding that his teaching methods are horrible he hides his ass from the department by giving huge curves on the test and alows an index- cheat card on every exam (Doesnt help).

This guy's lectures are extremely boring. He is very unclear and sometimes sidetracks from the coursework. He tries to be funny but fails miserably. The one good thing about him is that he does curve very much on the exams. Take him only if you can tolerate a boring professor.

You study you go to sacc and you gradually get the material...Until the dreeded exam. His exams are very difficult. why would anyone do that. Not all of us have Ph.D's in math. The only thios good about him is that he curves some of his tests. IF you ask him a question he would somehow put you down and he makes himself alot higher then us. He goes by the material so fast because he takes for granted that this stuff comes easy to him. I wish I had drop his class. Im saying about 75% of the class will fail this semester.

He is **** and terrible teacher. He asks to review HW everyday but never collects it; he simply starts with the first step then skips to the final step. His response to your questions is questioning your intelligence. I passed his first test with over a 70 & still dropped him b/c of the level of ignorance he displayed w/ his subliminal racism.

Seriously lacks teaching ability. It's mind boggling knowing he's been teaching for so long. He has a poor understanding as to how to handle a class, shows up late and barely is able to answer any problems you ask. I could count at least 10 times where he has done a text prob. and ended up with an answer different from the texts'.

The only positive thing I have to say about this professor is that he looks like Santa Claus. But once you've taken his class, you will learn that he is Santa's evil twin. First off before you read on, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. Be careful if you have a question, he will answer any problem you have, half way and with the wrong answer. 2 hours and a half in a class doing an algebra problem in a precalc class. Hes disrespectful and has no idea was the job description is for a teacher.

EVERYTHING I LEARNED WAS WITH THE TUTORS. He is VERY DISORGANIZED and VERY HARD TO FOLLOW: he is not prepared for each lesson, and though he explains theories very well, he poorly explains execution. He spontaneously makes up examples which ends up confusing himself and the class. GET OUT IF YOU CAN!!

Avoid this professor at all costs - he's completely lost when it comes to calculus. Though Unstuckstudy may help with the material, his teaching is a disaster. Better to drop the course if you get stuck with him.
