Very hard to understand . . .Math is already a hard subject, but with him as a teacher it was close to impossible

This guys boring and makes the subject very dull. Not helpful and his tests are impossible. You have to be a genious to get anything higher than a "C", but most people cheat and pass.

he offers take homes but they are still hard because the problems are the hardest ones he can find.

If you want to know more about him, you must enroll his class. He will tell many storys about him or his family for one and half hours, then explain a few example from the book for maximum in 3 minutes. Jumping around is another advantage,you never know what he already covered and will cover.

This is a History class about his family. The quiz is test you how many you can understand his English and his Middle-East writing? I have to thank you him I did not learn anything for the whole semester, but his family.

This professor just teaches to get it out of the way. All he talks about is his family and he tries really hard to tell jokes but fails. He tries to be the "nice guy" but isn't. His tests are unclear and there are always mistakes. If you ask him a question prepare to figure it out yourself!

i love math, but this teacher made it an aweful experience. no lecute plans. lectures are unclear and disordely. cant understand accent or writing (writes his own test with problems that are irrelevant to the subject and tricks u) talks about his family doesnt like teaching, hates answering question

This guy does not know how to teach. He thinks that doing one problem from each chapter covers the entire thing! He is very unclear and bores the class by telling us irrelevant information about his family. You better hire a tutor before taking this class!

Absolutely the worst teacher. He doesn't know how to explain anything. He teaches the calss as if you are a math major. He is extremely unclear and fast paced. More concerened with completing the book rather than having you understand the material. You are guarenteed to struggle w/ this class!

do not take this teacher. he spends half the class time telling stories about his past and his family. he is a very nice man but as a teacher he is horrible. he will crame all of the lesson plans at the last min. trust me he did to me in the spring and i had a hard time studing for him.

He is a nice guy, but when it comes to the material he has on exams alot of it was not in the book and even some problems from calculus 2. He has very hard exams, and the material you are given to practice is nothing like what is on the exams. He is thinks he is better then his students and belittles students in class, makes you hate math classes

BADDDD TEACHER!! Hard to understand and he doesn't go over the materail and if he does, then it is not clear at all!! I actaully passed his class which was a miracle but I would never take him again if he was the last teacher on earth... well, maybe.

One of the most awful teacher in the face of the earth. I took his class and I did good, not because he was a good teacher. I had to go sit in another teacher class in order to learn anything. This guy is the worst! He has his little favorite people around his desk at the start of each class (and for some reason they all get A's).... He does not explain the work. He is very hard to understand! I have not had a teacher this bad in my life.

he is not a good professor. His classes are all online. There are very confusing and when u ask a question to the teacher. he will just tell u to go to the math lab. i really recommond not taking this teacher. he sucks! online work isn't helpful either. he gave us the class sylabus after 2 week when the semester started!

was that person serious that he is "hot"?? we need to speak up: one exam for the entire course is not ok. belittling and putting down students for asking questions is not ok. send an email or call mr. bob martinez (chair of dept). this is an intro course- do NOT take from this instructor. you will be completely lost.

he makes his lectures more complicated than it needs to be. much easier if you just teach yourself. his tests are reasonable as long as you study. study on your own, don't bother asking him questions. he knows a lot, just doesn't know how to articulate it and gets frustrated when students get lost.

He does not stick to any kind of schedule and tries to cram three exams into the last three weeks of class, so that all semester, you have no idea how you are doing (ie: in time to drop if you are doing poorly). The book he uses is out of date and hard to read also. I don't recommend.

I dont recall him teaching, he only shows up to class to fill the board with info that no one understood. And you let this guy hire new staff for the school, SAD really SAD

super BAD teacher!! comes into the class expecting you to already know the materirial he is supposed to teach, he always would say "this should be review for you" if we are enrolled in the class is because we do not know the material, right? He is not organized and very difficult to understand.

The perfect response J.A. had for a student who politely requested an explanation was, "If you don't know the answer, you don't belong in my class!" Don't waste your money ~ take Professor Small; he's great!

My suggestion is that you don't take him. He assumes you already know the material therefore he skips steps before getting to the actual answer to a problem. He goes through way too quickly and his accent doesn't help. He ridicules students when they ask questions most of the time and he gets frustrated easily. He tells way too many stories! BEWARE

Stay away from this teacher! He wastes half of the time telling boring personal irralevent stories and when it comes to the real study material he needs to focus on he just breezes by like it's nothing. Very impatient to students, every other word out of his mouth is "Do you know what I'm saying", but NOBODY DOES!

His Persian accent is difficult to understand and this is in addition to already poor teaching skills. I made it through with an A but this is only because of getting outside help from tutors. I advise anyone considering enrolling in his class to look elsewhere for alternative professors.

This prof. doesn't explain the material clearly and he expects everyone to know everything from prereq. courses. He tells his life story and no one really cares. I am an A student in Math overall and i failed his class even with help from my high school teachers, the math lab, and others who had taken Calc. I highly recommend not to take his class.

DO not take his pre-calculus class. No one can understand him, not helpful, has crazy tests, and makes you want to shoot yourself in the foot before going to class. Avoid him at all cost

Ahmadian's inability to be clear during lecture makes it quite difficult to attain professional insight into the calculus you must learn on your own via the book. Very unorganized and will attempt to fill up the class time with reminiscent stories of his past rather than reviewing or teaching material. He will forget it is Calc 1 and jump ahead.

You can take his class and might be able to pass it only if you dedicate your life to his class and really not sleep - even then you are guaranteed not to get an A or even a B. Insulting and rude. Told us on the first day that we will not pass his class. Tricked us by setting the online work to eastern time so that homework was due 3 hours earlier than due time. Gave us the hardest possible questions he could think of on the test. Said we weren't motivated/serious students because we were in a lower math course.
