Best Professor in MDC!!! She is great! You do not really need the book if you follow her power points. She is an easy grader! Her Topics are interesting and you can tell she loves what shes teaching! TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!!!!!

Awesome class!! Loftus made the class super fun and interesting. She teaches the subject that she knows you will learn it and her enthusiasm for the class makes it that much better. She is extremely down to earth and understands us as students. Very easy and there wasn't a dull day in her class. Just print the powerpoints and take notes!

I took humanities with her and she was very cool. There was not a lot of work to be done and at the end she actually gave us a chance to make up assigments we hadnt done already. She is very easy going and made the class intresting, mixing things up a with movies and activities outside of class.

Well going into this class i really though it would be boring but she made the class fun and interesting. I actually wanted to attend class and learn more. She doesnt give homework only a few papers. If you pay attention in the class they will be breeze. She is a lot of fun and if you miss something she will help you out. TAKE HER!!

She is a wonderful professor, very passionate, motivated, Likes to help the students and is not there to give you a hard time. Yes she is very pretty too (FYI) :) I recommend that you take her for humanities. i actually looked forward to going to every class.

She is wonderful!!!!. I was afraid at the begining because English is not my native language and this was one of my first classes at Miami Dade. We had quizzes almost every week, but if you just pay attention to her, you will do great. I got an A and now I am much more interested in Art. I really enjoyed the class!!!!

You're missing out on a easy A if you don't take this class.Ms. Loftus gives you every opportunity to complete assignments and her tests aren't to difficult.In exchange all you have to do is attend class and listen to the powerpoint lectures which are interesting.Not only will you learn something but you'll find yourself laughing at her jokes.

This teacher is amazing! She really doesn't take failing as an option. She will help you as much as possible to get you moving. The tests are easy and she reviews before each one. Just by showing up and having your powerpoint notes to follow the lecture will get you a passing grade amybe even an A.

She's a great teacher. She usually works with slide-shows. The class is not boring because she makes it dynamic and interesting. No matter if you miss an assignment she'll help you and give you opportunities to make up for the grade. Overall very qualified I recommend everyone to take her class.

Took this class online and it was easy. Passed with an A. There are 5 modules only and you have a lot of time to get it done. There will be discussions and quizzes. For the quizzes you get two tries and the highest grade is recorded.The exams are exactly like the quizzes, just study by them and you will get 100 % . I recommend her !

I didnt even show up some days but felt bad about it cause shes so much fun she actually interacts when she teaches and her stories are awesome very down to earth take her!!!

Great professor! Really funny! Attendance is encouraged but it's not mandatory. Quizzes are online and for the tests she posts a review sheet online. Really easy to pass,she also gives extra credit for easy assignments. Strongly recommend.

Well the grade i received i felt was unfair. Anyhow she is easy but her class is a bit boring she wont give you a break even if her class is 3 1/2 hrs long. I dont feel her grading was fair , but i am satisfied.

There is not a class that she does not make everyone laugh. This professor is the best! Online quizzes (easy A's), not lengthy tests, and fun class discussions. She makes the material fun and you learn by just listening to her. Highly recommend her.

Very good professor! She is there to help you every step of the way. 5 quizzes, discussion question every week, midterm (on campus), final (at home), and one paper. She really does care about her students, so if you have an issue with something just ask her! She also curved the midterm exam.

She communicates very well with her students. I barely showed up to class and just checked angel for her assignments she posts up.(about 1 weekly) midterm and finals were online(open book) you can't go wrong picking this prof. I got a B and couldn't got an A if I went to class note often. Pick her !!!!

The only negative thing I could say is that there were things on the tests that weren't on the study guide. 2 notebook checks. Hilarious and amazing. I really recommend this professor. I took her for summer and we had only chapter quizzes, 2 test and 2 papers. I also enjoy his class.

Quizzes arent difficult and you can take them 2x, the paper requirement was easy and she graded fairly; midterm and final had most of the same questions from the quizzes so you can use your former quizzes as a study guide final is at home.

I took her for a session 4 and at first I felt scared since naturally I'm not as good with history classes. Loftus proved me wrong. Class was never longer than 2 hours if that. She captivates class. You can tell she knows her stuff and likes what she does. She gives humanity justice. We had 1 assignment and 2 quizes. Quick, but 'd take her again!!

This professor is the best, she really goes into detail with her lectures and she gets so into them. You can tell that she really loves what she does. The textbook is an online code which has a few easy quizzes and do the study quides, they count for extra credit!! Test are multiple choice and easy.

Hilarious professor which makes lecture entertaining. Need to buy textbook online in order to complete several quizzes. Only covered four chapters. Tests are easy as long as you take notes in class. The final was also online. Attendance is mandatory and will boost your grade. Definitely would take again.

You have to read the textbook, but work at it and it is an easy class. She is a great Professor and I would definitely take her again. Drops the lowest quiz grade. Discussion questions allow you to voice your own opinion as long as you cite examples to back up your argument.

First of all, I'm more of a Math student, so I had some trouble catching up with all of this history stuff. A month before finishing this class I had a C, and I got it up to an A. She talks a lot and fast. If you put enough effort anyone could pass this class easily.

Are you in college to learn and earn a degree? If so, take her. Do you need your hand held? If so, DON'T take her. I did every assignment and had zero conversations with her and got an A. Want to know how? I read the syllabus, all required chapters, and wait for it.. I did the assignments! Its not rocket science. Its the real world. Have some pride

Professor Loftus makes the boring lectures fun! Get ready to write your life away. I've never written so much in my entire life. You are able to complete a lot of extra credit assignments that help you bring your grades up! If you are not ready to WORK just do not take this class.

Great professor. If you have the chance to take her in the morning, do it. She would cancel most classes because she doesnt like waking up early, or had something to do. Be prepared to take notes and do online homework. Attendance is optional, she doesnt care if you dont show up as long as you do the work.

If you do the work properly you will pass with flying colors . Only thing is that I wish she would reach out a little bit more to her online students but other than that great experience

The class is self-explanatory, do the assignments and turn it in on time. I was a little worried that I never heard anything from the professor after day one but whenever there was an issue she was on top of it and took care of it, immediately.

The course consists of discussion boards, blogs, quizzes, one research paper, and finals. She's a really easy grader! I didn't hear from her once the whole semester though, which made me worry. She also doesn't grade anything until the very end. If you can overlook that, she's great!
