The class is easy. All you have to do is write essays. And, if your essays make sense, you'll get no less than a B in the class.
She is a eally nice lady. She is super easy and cares more about the content of your easy then all the perticulars. Easy calss take her if you want an A.
If you show some type of improvement, and come in with your essays, you will definitely get an A. It is an easy course. She is great with explaining things, and it is really interesting. She definitely knows a lot and knows what she is talking about. She is willing to help and is very flexible and understanding with everyone's schedule. TAKE HER!:]
Very easy going, flexible and organized. She's willing to help anyone. She canceled half her class after the mid-semester. I highly recommend her.
NICE LADY! very nice.. work is easy to understand, just show up to her class. She always has interesting topics and stories.
she is a great teacher! show up to class, and do your work... whatever she says is easy to understand. im so glad i was in her class ! :] i recommend her to EVERYONE
Amazing. Always kept the class entertained :)
Super easy class.
She is the easiest teachers I've had at unlv. I strongly recommend her. Shes very flexible when it comes to assignments. Any one that has her will most likely get an A.
If you want an easy A, take this class. She's super nice & flexible with turning things in late!
Amazing teacher. Super friendly to talk to so ask anything about projects or assignments! Same as any class, put the amount of effort into it to get the grade you deserve! Highly recommend her!!
Awesome teacher! Knows what shes is talking about and has a great sense of humor. She is also flexible and willing to work with you if you work with her.
I love Costello. She is a very creative person with a unique perspective on life. I don't think that it's fair to call her an "Easy A" type teacher, or anything like that. She has us read challenging material, has us write second and third drafts to make our essays perfect (so you'd better use that time) and she loves creative thinkers! Def a fav!
I'm very grateful to have had Prof. Costello for my 1st collegiate English class. It was refreshing to have be provided w/ intriguing reading material with topics selected by the students. The papers were challenging, esp the creative nonfiction, however she is always there to help if you get "writer's block". Plan to take one of her other classes!
This class is worthwhile. I learned a lot about how to improve my writing, and Professor Costello is extremely helpful. Her helpfulness and insight makes the class fun.
This woman amazes me. My writing improved, without a doubt...but her class is so much more than that. I got the feeling she could blow my mind if she wanted to. She's just one of those people who knows things that matter. I want to take a 400 level class with her because I think she'll be able to share even more truths with the class. Awesome.
I took Costello's Poetry, World and Spiritual Thought seminar last spring but am just getting around to rating it now. My words won't do the class justice. It was incredible. My views on poetry, god, love, life, and 'nothingness' have deeply shifted. I'm a senior & have not taken a more thought-provoking class at UNLV. Costello is brilliant!!
She is one of the most intellectual professors I have ever had. Not only does she excel in teaching English, but she also excels in fostering critical thinking. The class was challenging, but the writer and thinker you become after taking this class is well worth it.
I love Prof. Costello. She made my freshman year meaningful and just all around fantastic. I graduated from high school early, so having her as my first English professor when I was thinking of majoring in English was incredible. I was hesitant of being in the Honors College and in a new situation, but she is extremely nice and helpful. Thank you!
I had Prof Costello for Poetry, World, and Spiritual Thought this summer and I loooved the class and the teacher. I grew so much as person, a writer, a creative thinker...I'm not being dramatic when I say this class was life-changing. Prof Jaclyn is one of those old souls that offers more than just 'smarts'. She is a rare find. Take her classes!!
She's a little abstract and out there. Her grading criteria for papers is so unclear and she barely marks your essays so you'll have no idea what you did wrong unless you ask in office hours.
Jaclyn is an amazing professor. As a STEM major, I was skeptical about this class but her class opened me to a different world of understanding and spiritual thought. I would recommend you take any 400 level honors seminar class that she is offering.
Amazing professor! Her knowledge and experiences are very inspirational. She really cares about her students, and you can tell she's enthusiastic about teaching. The class is built around participation and deep thinking, so be sure to do your readings.
She's kind of a force of nature. One of the other students in our class said she wanted to eat Professor Costello's heart to harness her powers (Uhhh she was joking but that's the kind of response this Professor gets.) I honestly feel like I'm a different person after experiencing this class. Awesome books read, and I wrote a paper I actually like.
Take her!! Not your typical HonorsEnglish class where you just read, take quizzes, talk about the same lame themes. It's more of a 'full-immersion into the world & philosophies of each unit' class. Before finals we went to the desert & drank Moroccan tea & buried our group project. That is the flavor of Costello. Loved everything about the class.
Whoa. Sooo glad I took this class. We read books I wouldn't have found on my own & Professor Costello has you look at the worldcosmos in a crazy, REAL, true way. It's like an enlightenment. Before this class I heard that her lectures & discussions can be challenging if you're not a big thinker, but everyone in our class was awesome. Favorite class
Costello is a great professor. She is an interesting person and will share life experiences with you if asked. She is abstract but in a way that is fascinating. If you email her she will reply and is very encouraging. She is absolutely there for you if you need her whether it be for class or in your personal life.
She's a wonderful teacher! Her class is fun and entertaining. She's a wild spirit so it's different then a usual rhetoric class but definitely recommend you take her! Only bad is that she doesn't give good feedback on papers
Of course she is loved by HON students. She brings something unique to the department. I try to take her every chance I get just as all HON students do. She is funny and well educated. She knows a lot about a lot . Expect two essays, weekly journals, and a group project, as dictated by the honors college. Highly recommend.
She does give great feedback on papers, but you have to go to her office hours or submit your paper early for it. She runs all her classes like an open discussion, but essays have no clear guide except just to make her like them. She really challenges the status quo and I enjoyed her class.
I love her. Take her. If you person who is a pretty bad writter, like me! Take her she will gives you teaches you how to phrase what you want to say. You won't want any other teacher for the rest of your HON english classes. She responds to emails. I love it because she gets personal. This class is a soul enrichment class.
Professor Costello is a great person: very inspirational, creative, and open. Personally, I am not so creative so it was difficult to enjoy her alternative assignments or class discussions. I prefer a professor who gives clear cut grading, rubrics, and outlines. This course was just too loose and unorganized for me to enjoy it fully.
I waited a year to get into her hon 110 class instead of taking it with someone else because I heard so many good things about her. I'm a bio major and really had to stretch myself in this class--but I'm glad I did because I learned so much about life, death, Buddhist thinking, and the kind of doctor I want to be. Best professor I've ever had.
She is the only professor in the Honors College w/o a Ph. D, but I respect her just as much as the next teacher. We touched on Tibetan Buddhism, soulmates, and identity (not your typical HON topics). Major paper can be on anything you want. Great class to open your mind and get a new perspective. She has a lot of info to bring to the table.
The class was more challenging than the 400 level seminar I took, but in a good way. I actually had to think & couldn't zone out. Wouldn't want to anyway bc she is hilarious & tells great stories that tie to what we're learning, makes everything relevant. I thought she was a grad student at first--looks young--but her brain is a thousand years old.
Extremely kind, but absolutely no structure in the course. Grading is extremely subjective and guidelines were unclear. Content was interesting, but class was more a discussion of the readings than a course. Gave a pop midterm to see if students were reading- it was easy but stressful.
Professor Costello is not your typical Honors Professor, while she's really kind and inspiring, her course is not as structured as other Honors courses. If you like having rubrics and clear cut guidelines, I do not recommend you take her. However, if you're more creative and free-flowing this is definitely the class for you!
I agree with everything the last person--from Columbia--said about how she trains you to think for yourself. I had no idea I'd get so much value from this class and I feel bad for people who take it with other professors! She is the brightest person I've ever met and is also an old soul and so funny!! This was the first college class I LOVED.
I transferred home to UNLV from an ivy league school (Columbia) & I find Costello more brilliant than my professors were there. I think anyone who says her 110/115 classes are unstructured or abstract just wants to be told what to think, and Costello is not that professor. She is a philosopher & expects a certain level of actual thought from you.
This is what a college class should be!! I was challenged to say the least. Everyone should be required to take a class with Jaclyn. She is one of those rare people who understands mystical, brilliant things about life and is so passionate to share them with you. I admire her as a woman and a professor. This is the third class I've taken with her.
She is amazing! She's well traveled, well educated and exudes knowledge! The first week of class she told us that we could do creative journals but only if our artwork was actually "good!" She doesn't sugar coat things. She is the real deal! If you're present for class and pay attention, it goes a long way. She's one of the best- if not THE best.
Costello is "inspirational" but I don't see any point for this in an English composition class. Teach us how to write college essays not how to do artwork in journals. This isn't a painting class and, as said before, there is no structure to it and not much to learn. You can get an A without opening the books which is good, but you learn nothing.
I was in the same class (Hon 115) this summer as the last person and I don't know what they're talking about! It's NOT an English composition class. It's called "World Thought and Experience" about diff cultures. Also, the art was optional-- you could do written responses instead. I learned TONS in this class!! I plan to take this prof again.
I love her!! Best professor of my college experience by far. No joke--I considered staying an extra semester to take her Poetry, World & Spiritual Thought class this fall. Her class was not 'easy' but she is a generous grader--there's a big difference between the two. She is just a beautiful person and teaches from the heart. So smart, funny, kind.
She's helped me so much in my life. Someone said 'this is a soul enrichment class' and I agree. Don't get me wrong, you'll learn all kinds of academic material, but there is something greater-and more subtle-in her teachings that can't be easily quantified. She's tapped into something eternally wise. I'd even call it holy if I wasn't a bio major :)
ALRIGHT KIDS, Her essays are different. Think "what's the meaning of life" type. If you can't ditch the usual rubric-specific academic style of writing, she's not a good fit. Speaking during class is 10% of your grade. I didn't, but my essays and journals got me an A anyways! She's truly an amazing professor, allow her to challenge your thoughts!
Professor Costello is one of the best professors I've had in the Honors College. I've taken three classes with her and they've all been amazing. She is such an inspirational and amazing person. Whole class was journals, one essay, and 10-15 minute project, and reading. Class was mostly discussions.
Nicest woman you'll ever meet. Creates very interesting conversation during class. She really makes you think. Definitely take her.
Professor Costello is an amazing instructor. I love her! She definitely helped me gain a different perspective on life during class discussions. Hon 110 made me think a lot which was good, but I started to overthink... However, I learned so much from her! I would definitely take her again.
She tells the most fascinating stories... and she is so funny! Everything you learn is relevant to the world outside of college, so I think all majors will appreciate her wisdom. She is just beautiful. I hope I have the chance to take her again. I learned more than I anticipated in this class, and I looked forward to going to her classes every day.
LOVE HER!! She is freaking brilliant. And lovely. If I grow up to be half as beautiful as she is *inside and out* I will ask for nothing more. Her lectures and discussions will have you hooked, but don't skip class because participation counts (I think it does for all 110s). I tried to get into her 430 in fall but it filled in like 5 seconds...
If you want an easy A take this class with her. She's really nice and easy going, there's one project you work on whole semester in several stages. It's group work so make sure you have a good group and you'll be fine. She tells jokes and she's funny so the class is a real breeze. Show up and do the work and you'll an A.
This was a life changing class for me. I stopped feeling depressed last semester and I attribute a lot of that to Professor Costello. I don't agree with this being an easy class. I think it can be, if that's all you're looking for, but if you're tuned in to other frequencies and actually want to learn, expand, be blown away -- you'll be in heaven.
Best college class so far. I'll be taking more with her. Don't miss class because attendance and participation matter, but you won't want to miss anyway because she tells the greatest stories to tie everything you learn into the real world. Whenever my parents asked about school, I told them about this class. I think they want to sign up now lol
Sooooo lucky to have been block-assigned to her HON 100 class. Can't wait to take more of her upper-division classes. This is an AMAZING genius professor!! Our class discussions were enjoyable every day, and readings & videos always kept me interested. This professor knows so much about everything and is so creative -- don't miss out on her!
Professor Costello is the single most inspiring person I have ever encountered. I took three classes with her as an undergrad and she wrote a letter of rec. that helped me get accepted into my top two medical schools. Her classes changed my perspective on the entire universe, and on how I think in general. I'm a better person because of her!!
Costello was very laid back the whole semester. Lots of discussion, but she'll never pick on kids. A few papers, but nothing compared to other HON 100 professors. Interesting person, but also cool and funny. Good English class.
I'm in her 115 class now and love it. Learning a ton of relevant information about the workings of the world. She makes it all easy to ingest because I feel like she really "gets it" beyond the books. She's a fiction writer-poet but knows about sooo many things-- my friends are economics & science majors and really respect and admire her. 10 stars
Excellent professor. Best of the best. Take every class you can with her before some other planet recruits her for their more advanced civilization.
She is amazing!! Best discussions in this class. She really cares about you as a person not just as a student. I think she sets the bar high, but it feels like everyone reaches it because all her students love her and she brings out the best in them. She brought out a new side of me that I love. Also- the documentaries she shows are the greatest!!
Prof Costello takes the generic HON100 course and supplements it with her own interesting perspective. She gives students a chance to rewrite most of their essays (only 3 assigned) with her corrections. The journal assignment was a bit heavy and your participation grade is totally up to her, but I'd recommend her over other professors.
Her 110 course focuses on Tibetan Buddhism (death theme) and love. Costello is really easy going in class and only has a few assignments. Her daily journal assignment is easy if you don't procrastinate and her major group project is easy if you pick a good group and review it with her before presentation day.
Class is usually just discussion over the readings, two tests, journals due at the end, & one major group project. She is such a breath of fresh air. Class is always enjoyable. Take her!!
This semester was the 1st semester she started giving exams on the reading. The tests were not bad just pay attention, read, & take notes in class. The reading is dense at the beginning but it gets better towards the end. The group project could be a handful so don't procrastinate. She's a wonderful professor, who's wise & caring for her students
I loved this professor and this class. Somehow this class was the most challenging and most fun at the same time. Professor Costello is not your regular professor either. She is HILARIOUS and so intelligent and warm-hearted. I never felt intimidated sharing my thoughts in class. I learned more in this class than any other class I've ever taken.
She is out of this world, quite literally! She is a great professor all around. The class is doable in terms of workload. The tests are fair, and she is willing to drop questions if many students didn't do well on them. The final project is a monster, but it's fun! Also, participation counts, so don't be afraid to open up :)
Costello is an amazing professor and human. She is very understanding and respectable. She has lots of life experience and insight on all topics she teaches and makes sure to keep class interesting. Fairly easy-going, as long as you apply yourself in class you should be able to get an A.
It's not like the 115 I took in the spring, I thought there was a textbook for both 110&115, but here we didn't use it so don't waste your money buying Reading the world for both classes, as they say. Take Costello for both and you'll have little work that's fun to do. Make sure you read to participate and take the quizzes. The project's easy.
I had a very positive experience in this class and signed up to take her again in the fall. There were several books to read on top of the textbook readings, but the books were all so interesting and really opened my eyes to the world and new ways of thinking. She's a very intelligent and kind woman. I felt challenged in a good way in this class.
I've never learned so many fascinating things about the world in such a fun and challenging class. She isn't the kind of professor who just learned from books. She lives an adventurous, fascinating life and understands things on a really deep level. She'll tell you wild stories that relate to what you're learning and make everything 'click.'
This class and professor are the GOAT!! My mind exploded every discussion we had. Take her for whatever class you can. You will not regret it. 10 stars, two thumbs up, 100%, jackpot. As a bonus to her crazy smarts, she is soooooo soulful and lovely. You will want to camp out in her energy.
Her class is as amazing as her personality. She is a fair and lenient grader and she truly cares about your success. You wouldn't want to miss out on her lectures because, number one, you will miss some important notes for the quiz, and, number two, they're just fun, interesting, and awesome.
I'll be honest, she's very easy going. The group project feels like something thrown together at the last minute, which sucks because it impacts your grade so much. I felt lost the first half of the semester because I didn't understand why we were learning what we learned.
I really loved this class & Professor Costello. The material is fascinating, and unlike other courses I've taken, everything is 100% relevant to actual life. The Professor is genuinely nurturing of you as a whole human being, which was appreciated. She's also brilliant, so there's that. My favorite teacher, thank you...
My favorite Professor. This class shifted my understanding of so many things. There are units on religions, cults, utopias/dystopias, shamanism, the war on drugs, the war on consciousness, god as Mother, so many great discussions, and she is SO real and "awake." My friends told me I had to take a Costello class and I totally get it now!!
This is my fourth honors class with Professor Costello. If that doesn't give you a feel for my admiration of her, I don't know what else will. The only other professor I can even compare her to is Don Revell, the prophet-poet. They seem to be cut from the same cloth. She is DIVINE. So interesting, adventurous, great lectures, great writer, amazing.
Life changing teacher. She is simultaneously the most abstract, expansive, open-minded thinker - and also so grounded, relatable, and earthy. I feel like she pulls wisdom from a higher dimension and translates it into Earth language. If you're stuck in a box and unwilling to take a peek outside, this class may not be for you (but you need it!!)
I'm in her 430 class and highly recommend it. Our class is pretty quiet, but honestly, I don't say much because I'd rather just hear Costello speak. I was in 115 with her, and that class was really talkative and more discussion based. I like both formats. Either way - she clearly has a mastery on the materials she presents. Class is NEVER boring!
Soooo I wasn't expecting this class to be what it was. I was block-assigned by my adviser & after the first couple classes I realized I'd won the lottery. This professor was literally the most helpful, caring teacher. Also her lectures were so interesting and wise, many of them about technology and humans. I wanted to come to this class every day!
AMAZING. she is out of this world, her energy is unmatched. she can be a tough grader but its manageable. cares about the students. we have homework and some essays. she'll provide two grades for each essay, if you redo the essay, you get the higher grade. She is also very passionate about the subjects, truly has an amazing aura.
She is such a kind woman! She can be a little be hippy-dippy but she makes the class fun. She grades based on 3 essays (you get 2 chances with each one, making it much easier), participation/attendance, and weekly-ish journals. She ends class early a lot of the time to give students the chance to ask her specific questions. Definitely recommend!
Brilliant mind. Beautiful soul. Take her... take her... take her!!!!
Professor Costello is amazing. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed, without making it too easy. The class is only graded off of 3 essays, participation, and journals, so you need to put the work in to the essays. Costello was extremely helpful in and out of class. I can tell my writing improved this semester. I would recommend.
Professor Costello is amazing! She is so caring and her grading material is very straightforward. She will make the time to help and explain anything to you if you need it. Make sure to read the daily readings to be ready for the conversations each class. Prof. Costello provides a judge-free learning and discussion environment.
I think the goal of education and that of a teacher is not to merely teach, but rather to cultivate and instill a sense of wonder and curiosity in students' minds. Professor Costello does just that. Look elsewhere if you just want an easy A. Take her class if you want to widen your perspective and have your mind blown.
I loved Prof. Costello! She is very down to earth and you can talk about anything with her. She is one of the most interesting professors I had! I enjoyed the class but she is a tough grader for essays. I struggled a lot for my A even though I've always considered myself a great writer. I'm glad I took her class and she helped me grow as a writer!
I've never been so helped by a professor. My short story & poems improved 10-fold by the end of the semester. She was always available for private one-on-one Web Ex meetings to guide me through my anxieties about assignments and life in general. She is really nurturing as a person so when she gives constructive feedback, it feels easy to take.
Someone wrote in our final online discussion: "I swear this particular class makes everyones brains enter a higher level of consciousness..." and that about sums up Costello. She is brilliant, a great story-teller, soulful and FUNNY! The range materials in this class are also mesmerizing. I especially loved the shamanism sub-unit. Take this class!
If you want a Professor who is passionate about discussing things they are interested in, take Professor Costello. There is a lot of homework in the class, but she is extremely fair with her quizzes and grading, even when it comes to the final group project. There was never a dull moment in her lectures!
Costello was a really good Rhetoric teacher. There were weekly discussion posts we had to do and three essays we had to write. overall, it wasn't very much work at all, and she genuinely cares about her students. I would recommend her to anyone taking Honors Rhetoric.
This class opened my eyes to so many things I had no idea were part of this world. Not only events, people, and global tensions, but also entire ways of thinking and navigating my life. I feel like I've been sleep-walking until taking this class. This is what I had always hoped college would be. I wish more teachers were like Costello - just wowwww
Honestly, I think I learned more in this class than in all of my previous college and high school classes combined. And it was all such interesting material. I actually looked forward to going to class, reading the books, watching the documentaries etc. The professor is A+++ awesome wise lady. She is also very helpful with the final group project.
It takes a special kind of teacher for me to wake up in the morning excited to go to class. Prof Costello could teach ANYTHING and make it interesting - she's an incredible human who's mastered the art of extracting what's most important in any subject and presenting it in such a relevant way to your life, that you can't help but want to learn more
This class exceeded my high expectations. We read the Bhagavad Gita, a book on Hindu Goddesses, Rilke, Plant Intelligence & The Imaginal Realm, & The Immortality Key - & listened to Yawanawa ceremony music . The energy the professor brings to the discussions is unparalleled: she has LIVED the class materials & that added a depth to everything.
First half of the class was formatted by having discussion posts due every class day, then there are three essays. This isn't a high school literary analysis class. Overall, an easy A but you have to have decent writing. Would recommend to anyone.
Dr. Costello is by far the best professor at UNLV. I am not the best writer but this class has helped me improve significantly. Her classes have been amazing and she is very inspirational. I never enjoyed going to my classes but I was actually excited to attend her classes. Only bummer was that it was online :(. If possible, you must take her!
This class wasn't what I expected for an Honors 110 writing course. We watched over 10 films and talked about them. Too much discussion, especially if you're quite and like to express more in writing and improve your writing skills. It's an easy class and easy workload, but the prof doesn't give much feedback, mostly thru rubrics.
Costello is a genuinely excellent professor. Her grading is extremely reasonable, but more importantly, you genuinely learn a lot in her class. If she is an option for any class you are going to take, go with her. For Hon 110, there were just weekly discussions, three quizzes, and one group project. The class took up very little of my time.
She is a Goddess!! Do I think her classes are for everyone? They should be!! But I'm sure her wisdom will fly over the heads of some people. Not me... I soaked it all up & already enrolled in her 400-level seminar. I've never met anyone like her. She teaches existential, spiritual, incredible things that will change you and your life. 10 stars!!!!!
I started my college experience with Costello and just took my last class with her. My best advice is to dive in with an open mind. Her classes - and her as a person - totally transformed me and my outlook on the world. She just exudes some kind of magic that goes way beyond regular intelligence, and she kind of brings that magic out of you too :)
I love Professor Costello! She is the best professor at UNLV. She always provides great feedback and helps you work to bettering yourself. I have improved so much from taking her course. I strongly recommend taking her classes because you always get more out of it than what you expect. She is lovely and I can not wait until my next class with her!
this is my like 3rd class with professor costello. super caring, lenient, & wants you to get good grades. can send in rough drafts of the final paper for feedback, which was very helpful. best professor in the honors college for sure.
She always gave good feedback on my essays, so I improved a lot by the end of the semester. She also provides many opportunities to get the participation grade in class, so I was never too worried about it.
I love how Professor Costello integrated thoughtful, real-life concepts into her teaching. I felt like I gained a new perspective from her material. She is very understanding and her courseload isn't excessively demanding. Pay attention during the meetings and listen to her feedback and you should do fine.
She's very passionate about what she teaches, but if you're not interested in plant medicine, spiritual, and existential subjects this class really isn't for you. I'm not a fan of these subjects so maybe that's why this class was boring to me. It was also a lot of work for a 100 level class. We had to watch a ton of documentaries and read a lot.
This is my second class with Professor Costello and she's always been great. She's very passionate about the content she teaches and it felt like I was gaining a new perspective from her teaching despite not agreeing with everything she says. The workload for this class may seem intimidating, but it's all spaced out in a way that's manageable.
She's the best professor I had during my four years at UNLV. I've taken her three times and she gets more fascinating every year...or maybe I'm getting smarter so I appreciate her more every year!? She is just amazing. I'm so lucky I was a student when she was still teaching in person (even though the online classes are still good!) Brilliant soul.
I love Professor Costello. She is so generous & caring with her feedback, while also being very honest. She's actually the most intimidatingly aware person I've ever met. I felt like she was seeing right through to the innermost workings of my brain and heart every time she gave me feedback. It was beyond helpful for me as a student and a human.
She's super Sweet, and the assignments are 3 paragraph responses to either a book or movie we read. It does take up a little bit of time, but the movies were interesting. It's not a bad class, not super easy but it doesn't have you think too hard either. Participate and you can get an A.
Professor Costello is very kind and personable with her students. This class requires reading and watching movies, but nothing too intense. Mostly consists of doing canvas discussions (about a paragraph or more of your thoughts on the topics) and 3 writing projects. Participate and pay attention to her feedback, and you'll do fine!
Nice and caring, but does talk about some unconventional stuff at times. The class itself was really fun and she gives you plenty of time to finish the assignments.
As long as you interact with all the class material, this class is an easy A. Her lectures are very insightful, and I wish I had taken her in person so I could hear more of her stories and thoughts. Every assignment was just writing three paragraphs about a book, movie, or video and then the final is a 5 to 10-minute video you make.
Prof Costello brings a unique energy to the class, making even complex topics engaging. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of it. Unstuckstudy was a helpful study tool alongside the readings and films.
