Very Easy! He gives quizes that only count as bonus. He tells you everything that's on the test! He's young so he understands the students more!

This was the easiest math class. he explains it where it is easy to understand. the homework is online and you get bonus points for optional quizzes in lab each week that you can take up to 3 times. There is also a 10pt bonus question on each test. There is no reason to not get an A. He also makes math interesting (as interesting as math can be)

Definitely my favorite class :)I'm so glad I took him for pre-cal. He's really easy and the best looking teacher at South!

Jacob is a fabulous math teacher for precal. Take him for sure. You learn a lot because he really cares about making sure you understand everything...He's really hot too!!

Best teacher I have had at USA period. Hell, is is probably the best teacher I have ever had. I am in no way a math wiz, but he explained it to me in a way that I could understand. I wish I could take hime for all of my math classes. Take hime or you will regret it later on.

Excellent teacher. Jacob really knows how to explain things in a way where you can understand them. I just wished he taught finance.

Great teacher

All you have to do is go to class and write notes he makes everything easy to understand. You get a quiz every friday in class and take home. And he Takes the best 6 he is awesome. Very Easy to understand

Mr. Dasinger was a good teacher. Though some things were not clear when taught, he was more than willing to help. Was not happy with not sticking to his own policies concerning quizzes. Hopefully he changed that. Overall a good teacher. Still has a lot to learn about policies, but other than that a good guy.

The best math teacher at South. I took this Ma class over to improve my grade and gpa and it really improved. He is a young teacher and teaches at our level. Made everything easy to understand. Take this teacher if you get a chance, you will not regret it!

Easy and very clear teaching

Greatest teacher I have ever had!!!! Highly highly recomended!! He makes sure you no everything before he moves on and will work with everyone in class and out of class. If math is not easy to you take him cuz he breaks everything down to your level and wont move on till you know it. BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!!

The door is always open and he's willing to help. If you do not make a high A or B at least, you were not working hard. His tests are straight forward and he gives quizzes when people don't show up.

I have to admit he is probably the best teacher I have had since starting out at South. He makes sure we truly grasp the material; if we do not, he had his door open for us. He made sure the class was not boring and he used real life examples to help us understand the concepts. I would highly consider taking him for a good calculus experience.

I absolutely HATE math, but Dr.Dasinger made it much more managable. I feel much better about my math skills thanks to him. He's super nice and very helpful. He goes over exactly what will be on the quizzes and tests. And he lets you use a calculater, a big plus for me,I currently have a B in math, that is a miracle!

Such a helpful teacher! He goes above and beyond for his students. I'm so glad I took and even signed up for him this upcoming semester for MA 202. He doesn't take roll, but you will miss a lot of information if you don't show up for class.

Go to class and study and it is not hard to make an A in this class. He is very helpful and cares that his students do well. The quizzes he gives in class are extra credit and most are take home. Your final also replaces your lowest test grade.

There just are no words to describe how nice and awesome Dr. D is! His tests and quizzes are not hard but you will work for your grade. I loved his class though, take him if you can!!

Definitely one of my favorite teachers I've taken at South in my two and a half years here. He is nice, makes coming to class enjoyable, and effectively teaches the material. He really cares about his students and does everything he can to help them out. Easy tests, gives individual, group work, and participation grades. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. D is a great professor. When he is going over the material in lecture, you easily understand. But when it comes to the homework, it's a bit different. Make sure you do your homework, it's an easy 100! I am warning you people. His tests are difficult (to me). I studied the homework, don't do that. The homework and tests are way different!

I'm taking him for MTH 201. He's a really nice teacher.

Professor Dasinger is an amazing teacher and his class was both easy and incredibly fun for a math class! I highly recommend his class! Tests are straight forward and mostly multiple choice, and they ALWAYS have an extra credit problem worth around 10 points! If you have an A, you don't have to take the exam! No text book needed! Take this class!

You have a group quiz nearly every day. Usually there are two homework assignments due every week. Tests are very difficult, or they were for me. Extra credit can really help your average. His lectures seem simple and to the point, but the tests are nothing like it. Overall he can be helpful but you have to ask the right questions.

Great instructor! He provides clear examples of all material, goes over anything you don't understand multiple times and in different ways to explain. Do all homework and study the study guide for test, you'll do great.

Dr. D is a great teacher, you can tell he really wants to help students. He is clear on his instructions and is willing to help you through any questions you have. You go to class once a week and do the rest online. If you are interested in being a teacher this math class is a class you should take for sure. I would take the class again and I am!

His class is not mandatory, but if you study the notes that he gives in class then you will do fine on the test. If you do not study, like me, you will fail!!! He is a great teacher and his notes that he gives in class will be handy whenever you are teaching your own class. I would advise taking him.

He does use ProctorU and that by it self is awful. he only uses it for 2 tests out of 4 though but it still isn't great. but as far as teaching, he's really nice and responds quickly.

2 take home exams 2 proctored exams and a take home final. You do have a quiz on every section but its really not bad. If you have questions he will write out all the steps for you so it is easy to understand. Also he will send out emails about your performance on a test or quiz! You can tell he really does want his students to succeed!

He is the only teacher for the Elementary math courses so if you're taking him for that, you don't have a choice lol, but both courses are very easy and he cares about his students! He wants you to pass-my only advice is to show up to class, not to get behind on homework, and participate in the lectures! His class is a lot more fun w/ participation

Dr. Dasinger was so helpful. I wish all classes would be this convenient and educational.

Pros: He is a nice teacher, emails back fast, and congratulates you every time you have an A. The class is easy to understand. Cons: The only difficult thing about the class are the Praxis questions (that does not bring you down a lot of points but it is still kind of hard). Overall, this class should be easy if you do all your hw!

Professor D is extremely nice and helpful! I had him for an 8 am class but never once dreaded it. His quizzes are a little tougher because they require more thinking, but they don't really harm your grade and the homework and tests are easy, even if you're bad at math. Loved this class!

Mr. Dasinger organizes the curriculum very well for his online students. He posts a video or two every week that goes over the handout. Everything he goes over in the videos are on the homework and tests. The lecture videos range between 15-30 Minutes. It is very easy to pass this class if you pay attention to the video lectures.

Dr. Dasinger is very organized. The class is straightforward. Lots of quizzes and homework grades, the tests are hardly worth anything compared to the rest. The math isn't hard, about half the material doesn't require a calculator. The only interaction with Dr. Dasinger is listening to his lecture, it's mostly at your own pace and time.

This professor is a solid choice. He emailed us every week to let us know what was due that week. There was always a lecture, homework, and a quiz, and every few weeks, a chapter quiz. It was fairly easy, although it did have some advanced concepts for elementary math. Overall a good professor.

I've taken Dasinger completely online for MA201 & 202. He's awesome. His lectures are straight to the point and he communicates with his students well. He emails us every week letting us know assignments. He's very organized and his work is pretty much at your own pace.

I've taken Dr. Dasinger for MA 201 and 202 online and he's been great for both. Class itself isn't actually hard I'm just really bad at math. He's super organized and the workload is super easy for this class.

Easiest online math class ever. Do the work and watch the lectures, no problems at all.

Take notes, everything is easy if you show up, do the notes, do the quizzes, and study for the exam. it is pretty simple class.

Take the class online. Very easy. Posts lectures for each lesson so it is easy to learn the material. Very involved with students and sends weekly reminders of work that is due and assignments for each week. The class is at your own pace.

Easy to reach if you need anything. The class was organized well and he always gave reminders of upcoming assignments. The MyMathLab homework is slightly different from his example problems in lectures, so make sure you allow enough time to complete it.

Dr. Dasinger was great. I took the class online and it was very easy. You would complete 1 module, 1 handout (he uploads a lecture of him doing it so EASY 100), and 1 quiz per week. He would open the modules on Monday and you complete them by Sunday at midnight. Very easy to reach if you have any questions & is always willing to help you.

One of the driest sounding individuals I've ever heard, thankfully he's funny too so it works out very entertainingly. Easy to follow, easy to ask questions to, homework is easy enough, only had a couple projects which were applicable to the real world and one final exam that covers the simple things taught in class. 10/10 Dr. D :)

I had Professor Dasinger for MA201 and he was a very fun and easy going professor, as well as funny. He wants the best for his students and does what he can to help us. We had review days before test which were very helpful. In-class work that he would grade for us and attendance wasn't graded. Definitely take him again!
