Great professor, seems to have low energy at first, but it becomes clear later on that he's passionate about his lessons. In ENG 220 poetry, he prioritizes the act of writing and sharing poetry, so be prepared to write, and for your work to be shared! Exams are just self reflections on your own writing.

This class was easy. All the assignments were posted at the start so you can begin ahead of time. The entire semester had 3 essays, some easy quizzes and discussion post occasionally. There wasn't much essay feedback. The lectures didn't offer much new information, but you can ask questions to the professor and have discussions with other students.

Professor Elison's class was honestly super easy. It helped me with my writing a ton. Yes, there is a lot of writing, but there is a ton of time in between each assignment and none of the essays are complicated whatsoever. The only thing is he's bad at answering emails. Other than that this class was easy and I enjoyed it.
