Always (from my experience) available after class and sends you you an Excel file with grades about often. The subject matter is difficult, and no matter how good the professor, you MUST read everything.

Geat teacher. He explain every thing that is important. Gave extra credit in each quizz and practicum.(not multiple choices question) but easy. Always helping the students, you always know how you are doing in this class. I really recommended him.

This professor is amazing!! I love him. He is helpful and really keeps you awake as he tries to explain anatomy. He goes fast but he always asks to make sure you understand. He sends you Power Points to help you study and you have a quiz of every class however it is in your best interest. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

amaaaazing teacher really knows his subject and is very funny including the little techniques to help memorize something. although you may need to study somewhat alot if your going in the medical feild you need to know your stuff anyways so its helpful.

The most amazing Anatomy Lab Teacher! Ive taken Anatomy before and Ive had to drop it but this teacher makes it so much easier to understand. he is very helpful and a lenient with his grading. He gives you extra points for group homeworks and 5 maximum point for quizes! Hes so nice! Love him

At first I was super nervous and thought I wasn't going to pass his class with anything higher than a C (and I'm straight A student), but he offered a lot of extra credit and made me push myself. I passed with an A and learned so much! However, don't be lazy in his class he is strct but cares about you too!

Hy guys he is an AWSOME teacher not a easy one but everithing he teach is in his power points presentation + lab manual very helpful. It doesn't matter if the labs manual are use. You only need to know name and function of the body parts and you'll get an "A" Attendance is a must and always available for help you in his office.

This Professor gets right to the point. Whatever he says is on the test is always, although on the practicums there is less that what he usually says. But it's not an easy A, if you want it, you got to work hard for it. If you go to class everyday, and take those quizzes, even if you get a low score at the end it really helps.

He is a great professor who honestly looks out for the well-being of his students. He told us he is tough because he doesn't want MDC to have a bad reputation for passing students who don't know anything. Read the lecture textbook and his powerpoints.

This is one. Of the best professor I've ever had, anatomy and physiology is not easy & if you're going to bea health care worker come on you have to know your thing so don't think about passing a major related class with an A without learning you're going to work with human life's & if he sees you pitting effort w it's extra credit help you a lot

Dont take this class if you are a slacker because you will need to memorize ALOT but you will learn so much.Totally worth taking his class! Nice, approachable to any questions. During lecture points out what's in practicums, which btw, grades on curve, including quizzes. Gives tons of extra credit (do lab book exercises and My Lab Mastering ?'s, gives you 30 extra points. You can literally have a D- and end up with B+). Also writes letter of recommendation if you pass with 95+

This class is pretty easy. He tells you exactly whats going to be on the test and he sends you his powerpoints. Textbook is kinda necessary; you never really use it cause he gives all the details in his lecture, however there is extra credit that you can get through the texbook. You can skip a few classes but he will drop you if you skip too many.

Dr. Garcia relates the class to his own clinical experiences. Easy to understand, pretty straightforward classes. Be prepared for a quiz per class and study a lot for practicums. He gives lots of extra credits so don't worry if you get 0 on a quiz or two, you can still get an A. This is a science class so you have to memorize a lot of info.

He's a really good professor and tries to make the practicums as simple as possible. He will always tries to highlight certain questions that might be in the tests. 3 Practicums, 3 quizzes, mastering homework(a lot of questions), and lab manual homework(extra credit). The class is just hard in general and you really need to apply yourself.

His lab is based in 6 quizzes and 3 practicums. No extra credits, at all. Be careful because getting F on any of his practicums might drop you straight to a C or even to failure of class at early stages of your semester. For sure one of the hardest grading criteria. Your grade can only drop, never grow. Heavy quizzes.

I really loved this professor. YES, his class and tests are challenging, but honestly anyone can get an A with enough time and effort. It is definitely a class that requires few hours in every week outside of class to do well. If you try hard, then this is one of the few classes that will actually stick with you and be helpful in the long run.

Wish i would have taken the class in person instead of online, but maybe next term. He is very good at teaching and cares if the students understand or if they are lost he will try to assist you, which is very rare now.

I am beyond pleased with Dr. Garcia. I started the semester a bit apprehensive since campus was closed due to Covid. Our professor has made the online transition as easy as can be. He answers e-mails promptly and is always eager to answer questions. I am very appreciative of the reviews he gives before tests and study guides he provides.

Honestly Professor Garcia made learning anatomy real easy since my lecture teacher didn't hold classes. He was clear with information and managed to be really successful during the pandemic. Be prepared to participate in class!

I took both the lab and lecture class for Professor JG. Both were online and required a pretty solid dedication to studying and homework. I did not find this course to be overwhelming as long as I stayed on top of it and planned accordingly. Make sure you come to class as well as Prof. JG always takes time to further explain when needed.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, he completely understands and is more than happy to help you understand the subject. This professor explained most important topics as best as he could. Mind you I took him for summer so everything was faster. All the homework, quizzes, and tests were the set dates that he puts up with the exception of a few minor changes. Made the class really enjoyable for me. Everything was online nothing in person. Didnt have to buy textbook.

Ive had professor Garcia since 2085 to 2086 for both lab and lecture and Ive never once regret taking his classes. Hes very informative on his lectures and will go into detail with his lectures(passionate). All you gotta do to pass this class is do what he ask and I grantee you will pass with no problem.

Amazing professor, if you need help he will help you! Responds to all my emails and answers to all my questions with kindness. Few homework assignments a week, but not too crazy that you can't keep up. He explains everything you have to do very clearly. BSC isn't an easy class, but he makes it easy to learn if you attend his lectures.

Takes his time to answer students' questions and makes sure that he answers your question. He has good jokes to lighten the mood and lots of interesting stories from his work as a doctor. Try to get him for lecture and lab! The homework and quizzes are well correlated. Be sure to study, you'll be lost in future chapters if you don't.

Professor Garcia was a fun professor who enjoyed his job; going on tangents about his life and used mnemonics we can use to remember complex ideas. His homework was simple, just one assignment, a quiz a chapter, and a Practicum following those chapters. He was knowledgeable, hoping to do further research on topics he cares about in his retirement.
