I enjoyed participating in this course, and there are lots of opportunities for you to learn new things that can be applied in your life. There is a good amount of reading in some of the modules, but luckily, the material was available within the course. Mr. Posey does a great job of setting up assignments that make you think.

He is a great teacher and respects people who have a life outside the classroom!! He is very understanding and knows people have their own way of learning. I would love to have him again.

Professor Posey is to me the ideal college professor. You need to read the module lessons, and he is a strict grader on case studies. He gives you the opportunity to attempt your quizzes multiple times and really does want you to learn his class, not rush through it just to get the grade. He is flexible, if you are a hard worker. This is my second time taking a class with Professor Posey. I originally took his first class because my sister had him and raved about how thorough and clear he was. He didnt fall short of the expectations.

This class is very easy but you definitely learn something and it isn't boring. He' s very involved & grades quickly, usually within the same day you submit assignments. Kind of a tough grader but he gives feedback and allows you to resubmit assignments for more points. The only way you don't get an A is if you don't do the assignments at all.

At first I wasn't sure about this class, but Professor Posey is great. He allows you to resubmit assignments for a higher grade , if you don't like the grade you received. He understands that some of his students work, have families, and attend school. The case studies aren't the easiest, but I would definitely take his classes again.

This professor was AMAZING. The assignments were informative, easy to understand and complete. He also used an online textbook and the lessons/reading directly applied to the assignment. Favorite topic was CSR because I believe companies should be invested in communities. Favorite assignment was the SWOT analysis because I will use it in the future

The assignments have an infinite resubmission button so if you want to submit for a better grade you can. If I had the time I would resubmit a paper he graded fairly in with the suggestions he gave and by the rubric he graded with.

Prof Posey will goes above and beyond to ensure his students succeed. He believes in order to learn, you need to do the work. Therefore, he will work with you on getting your work turned in. This class isnt hard if you put in the work. There are 8 units with discussions and quizzes for each. There are 3 big assignments due at the end which can be a bit confusing if you arent prepared but overall not that difficult. You will definitely learn about accounting and finance and what it takes to run a business.

No textbook needed-----all reading is provided by the professor. Considerable amount of reading, discussions, and quizzes (unlimited tries) each week. Medium effort class---just do the work and it's an easy A+ class. Gives good feedback. Make sure you start on the Small Business Plan assignment (5-7 pages) early on so you're not overwhelmed.

Professor Posey is a tough but fair grader. Anytime he returns a paper he gives detailed feedback and lets you revise and resubmit as many times as you want which I really appreciated. Another nice thing about his class is that he encourages you to work ahead so you can finish early.

No textbook required! Great professor! Just be ready to really write some great papers! Professor let's you revise and resubmit papers for higher credit which is great and provides great rubric feedback but can be difficult to write a proper paper without revising it multiple times. Be ready to write!

Overall Solid Class. Learned a good deal about the science of management. If I could give a bit of advice on improving the class it would be with the case studies. The studies themselves are reasonable but the instructions and grading criteria do not resemble the feedback that was received. Other than that, not too difficult to pass.

I enjoy this class very much and enjoy the professor as well. He provided feedback on graded assignments and allowed us to redo an assignment if we were unhappy with our initial grade.

I appreciate the way Professor Posey gives in-depth feedback in the grading rubric and allows the student to make another attempt. He is definitely a phenomenal professor! He takes into consideration the different troubles that life can bring and he's very understanding when it comes to late work. My only gripe is that the class did not have a lecture, and the rubric and expectations could be more clear. I hate spending so much time on assignments only to receive a poor grade.

The essay rubric gives you a clear-cut explanation of exactly what is expected. If you are missing something he will provide you with detailed feedback and what you need to do to correct this and will allow you to resubmit the papers for a higher grade! He also allows you to take the quizzes until you reach at least 90%. You have many chances.

He is a great teacher and you definitely have to go by the rubrics guide to get a good grade on your papers. He has an expectation it took me a lot of rewriting for sure!

Since day one, introduction and clarification of the class and his expectations. No books but a lot to read from his weekly assignments. Another step for us to be prepared when the time comes and we will be asked to evaluate a business.

The majority of the class is going over the lessons on management, which were sometimes pretty long. Then doing discussions, which were easy for me for the most part, and quizzes that were 40 questions long and super easy if you read the material. The essays were the hardest parts, but not too bad. Overall a good class, would take the prof again!

It was a complete pleasure taking this processors course. He is very responsive and lenient if, you have emergencies or going to turn something in late. The only thing I did not enjoy was the reading, at times it can be very extensive. If you actually want to read and learn something like all students should. Overall it's a very good class.

The majority of the time you'll have assignments due every week, sometimes you'll get the week off of assignments. This was a super easy class, it is basically impossible to fail. Do your work, which really only consists of a weekly discussion and a quiz. You'll have 2 case studies which are easy AF and a small business project. Take his class!!!!

Professor Posey is someone who will give feedback on your work and give it back so you can revise and learn again after the second time. Class isn't hard at all, you just have to make sure you don't lose track at all. The discussions are simple and the case studies are tedious but simple as well. Anything lower than an A is certainly not on him.

He did require you to think about what you are learning, not just memorize the material but put it into practice thru the assignments . I took this class as an online class. The assignments challenge you to use the lessons learned in each chapter in real-world scenarios. If I could take this class again I would, its an easy A .Some perks are that there is no textbook needed, no lecture and you are graded by attendance through turning your assessments in. There are a couple of quizzes, assignments and discussion that you will have to complete but the class is straightforward.

I would absolutely take another of Jake Posey's classes. He cares about his students and if they learn the material. That's what matters to him, not your ability to pass, but to LEARN. Professor Posey is generous as he makes it hard to fail his class. He allows you to request extensions on your assignments which is a plus. For the material of the class, everything is learned through reading the material which is provided. I might have benefited from having a few recorded lectures to watch but other than that I can't complain.

I can describe Professor Posey as a pro-student instructor who genuinely cares about students learning. He offers constructive criticism about any mistakes made on assignments while also offering another opportunity to fix said mistakes. Quizzes have no time limit nor attempt limits, you still have to read to pass but they're not stress inducing.

Professor Posey is great! This was a 7-week online class reading was through Canvas. He is helpful and replies quickly when needed. Couple discussions, essays almost every week, but nothing too hard if you do the work and quizzes based on the readings. I have no bad things to say about Professor Posey, I took the class in 7 weeks and it was very easy. Weekly work was 2 or 3 assignments, you get unlimited attempts on the quizzes and must get at least a 90% for it to count. He is great at working with you, he gives you the chance to request extensions for assignments if needed.

I learned about many myths that were told in the business industry, as well as the risks entrepreneurs take. My favorite assignment in this class was the book review. I was able to read a book that I had never read before and enjoy it.

What I like about this is that AI is coming whether people want it to or not, and the people who are going to remain viable candidates in the job market *will* be those who know how to use AI.
