ONLINE : Easy! This was what we had to do, write 6, 2-3 paragraph papers throughout the course of the semester.,,,but they are based on ur opinion so how hard is that? There is also a final 'genogram' paper which is easy too.

I swear this lady is a genius. It was never a boring lecture with her. She's energetic, passionate, and studied. She's a liberal, and a feminist but don't let that bother u. She's great for topic discussions in class but be prepared to back it up.

She is passionate about her job and her field of study. Professor Behn has a love for humanity and society! Highly recommended! I will miss her!

i took this class online and it was pretty easy...8 dicussion essay due approx. every other week and a final paper. she post a lot for students to read to keep us informed. she seems to be a real caring professor and really understanding...easy class but the way she does the assignments, you will actually learn

an easy and intresting class. one assignment every other week, final 5 page report at end. take this class online if you need the credits.. you may not learn as much on the web as if you were in class, but like i said if you need the credits its worth taking.

EXTREMELY hard class. There are about 8 discussion questions that have to be very long, and very detail oriented. I did well in this class (B) but it was not easy at all. She's very caring and helpful. Tries to make everyone pass. Huge Mets fan which is cool if you like the Mets. If you're welling to work and write A LOT then it's worth it.

Took this class online and overall it would have been easy if I had the book. There are 8 discussion papers and a final paper which was the easist term paper I ever had to write. The prof responded quickly and was easy to get in touch with.

I took her online class (soc 121) and you have to reaad a lot!! I got an A in the class but it was some hard work. I recommend to take it only if you're willing to do the reading cause other than that you're not passing!

Dr Behn is a great teacher. You will learn alot in this class. She makes the class interesting. She is very fair and you are able to do extra credit papers. I recommend this professor to anyone who wants to learn basic sociology!

I took this teacher for sociology of the family first then sociology second...she's awesome...she's a fun teacher and has a great sense of humor...yes you have to do work in her class but welcome to college...Plus she lets you out early everyday

Took online course spring 08. Diversity requirement. I did not expect to enjoy it at all but it is now one of my favorite classes. She is a great professor. Do the work and you'll do fine

Class was very good; she is sharp, interesting, and funny! very enjoyable online experience - just have to earn your grade & as long as you want to ...no problems.

We had a 10 person class, all we did was take notes for two hours straight every single class, then you would have one big test on all the notes. The tests are simple, but the only thing is that there only three test the whole semester, so not to many chances to get grade back up. Some extra credit. One assignment. Shes ight, but not the easiest.

Online course. 5 discussion questions and a final paper. She is helpful if you e-mail her, but she doesn't participate in discussion which is a shame. It would be more interesting if she did. But she is very nice and the class is easy. I fudged my way through it and came out with an A. Take her.

She's a really easy professor. Doesn't say anything when your late i should know am alwas late. Her slideshows are in the book and thats all she does in class is read off of them. test are really easy. Shes a really nice teacher and helps her students out. The best part shes absent almost half the semister :)

Professor Behn is currently in my top 5 favorite professors. She's intelligent, understanding, patient, and overall just an AWESOME professor. If I decide to become a professor in the future I will try and mimic her as much as possible.

I was in Marriage and Family. I totally recommend this class. There are alot of notes to take but her tests are multiple choice with an essay. She isn't boring and talks quickly. You won't regret it. Nobody dropped it.

I took Prof. Behn for SOC101, online class. She does not involve herself in any of the posted discussions, you basically communicate with your fellow classmates. Work load is 5 discussion questions(they are lengthy to answer), and a final paper. As others have said, it seems like she i a very good teacher in the classroom, but not online.

I enjoyed her sociology class and would recommend her. Her online class consisted of 5 papers and a final paper- all of which were relatively easy. She did not assign any quizzes or exams.

Took her online course, barely hear from her. Course is very easy , 5 discussions with FYI links. Interesting class, but you dont really learn anything. Its one of those classes you just take for the grade.Id reccomend her if your lazy and want a good grade.

I took this online and I enjoyed the low level of stress involved. She assigns 5-4 page papers due once a month approx. and she's a fair grader. You don't necessarily need the book because you can google the information to answer her questions. I found the format online to be awkward. Smooth and Easy, and a very nice teacher.

I took this course online over the summer. I liked how it was very relaxed. Discussion questions due at the end of each week are a major part of your grade. For participation there were articles we had to comment on and one paper due at the end of the semester. I would recommend her!

At times the note taking was extensive and the lectures could get boring, but overall she is a very nice lady who cares about the material she is teaching. I definitely learned a lot in this class. Also, it was a pretty easy and low-stress class.

GREAT PROFESSOR. 3 tests 25% each, gives a study guide and essay questions prior to test. tests are easy just study a little. One "paper", it's barely a paper its about your family tree. Offers tons of extra credit and cancels class often. Each class she presents a power point and you take notes. TAKE HER! Im definitely taking her next semester

There's 5 papers throughout the semester and as long as you do all the papers there is extra credit offered which isn't hard. Professor Behn is the best! I took her during the spring and the class wasn't too bad. There were 5 papers in total throughout the semester. I absolutely adore this professor! This is my second time taking her and I could not be any happier. Her class is straight to the point. During the semester, there are 5 papers that you have to do. If you actually try on these papers and put in work, you will do well. The lowest grade I received on a paper was a B+. Take her if you can please!

TAKE THIS CLASS. The online version seems tough but i took the HONORS course in person with her and it was great. All of her lectures come with powerpoint. Three tests (third one is open notes) and no papers. Just a simple essay with each test. There is a lot of extra credit opportunity. Definitely study for tests - just look through your notes!

i loved behn and would take another sociology class with her again if it could be in person. i took this asynchronous and it was a lot of reading but i loved the material. your grade is based off 5 essays each worth 20% so just make sure you're a good writer. i finished with an A but it shouldve been a B, but she gives extra credit.

I took this class as a two-week summer course and it was hard, the readings were long and then write a 5-page essay (double-spaced) every three days. In total, there were only 5 papers but it reading heavily. Not sure how it is as a regular course but I still liked it was just paper-based. Up to 5 extra credits worth 2 points on your final average

Dr. Behn is one of the best and nicest professors I ever met. She makes sure that every lecture sticks with you outside of the classroom and always starts class with current events to keep her students informed.
