She is a genius! She can make even the hardest parts of anatomy seem easy. She can however be rude when she gets upset at the group of students. But then again she does have to deal with a bunch of first years...so who wouldn't be.

I'l agree that this woman knows what she's talking about, but just because your a genius, doesnt mean your a good prof. I find that she has only one concern, getting through the material... not making sure everyone understands it. Alot of first year students dont have a clue about Anatomy, but goes through the content like we are already experts

She goes through the material like we're medical students....I feel like her only concern is getting through the material, independent of whether we get it or not....most of all she makes you feel stupid in lectures by threatening that some content is "review" when it isn't. I will say that she definitely knows her subject, though!

Sorry to say, but I found this class quite boring. The slides filled with size 14 font just add to the impending doom upon entering the auditorium. I know that a lot of material had to be covered, but really, could she try a bit to make it more relatable? I found Dr. Copeland's teaching style much better suited to a first year class.

Dr. Carnegie is definitely one of the better anatomy professors. Her lectures go into a lot of detail and while they do take long to get through, she is very clear in explaining the concepts. Very inconsiderate of her students! Did midterm review A MONTH after the midterm and when asked to view the midterm for feedback, she declined. She expected the students, who are already overwhelmed with other courses, to remember the questions and their own answers from the midterm and provide themselves feedback. Places ALL blame on students.

Would take again

Dr. Carnegie isn't bad, but to do well, you NEED to study from day 1. It's easy to fall behind because there's a lot of lecture content, and you can't learn it all in one week if you want an A. Use the textbook (all her lectures are based on the textbook). A lot of studying outside of class is necessary. THIS IS NOT A LIGHT COURSE!

I was doing my readings and attending every lecture and I swear that I was trying, but I stopped asking questions and clarification on course material.
