Awesome lady. She has a great sense of humor, and knows her stuff and how to explain it. I took her in the condensed Summer session and still got an A. Tough material, but her explanations are wonderful. Highly recommend.

She is a funny teacher who always talks about something related to alcohol. She goes over most of the answers for quizzes so she gives away many points. Her tests are not hard.

She's an awesome teacher, very interested in her students. The class is presented very clearly and the notes are posted on the website. She wants her students to be successful.

The class isn't real easy mostly just because of the subject matter, but she is definitely an awesome professor. Make sure to take notes on things she tends to repeat in class and study the outlines and review sheets for each chapter. If you show you know the formulas but just make calculation errors, she tends to give you partial credit.

I thought this class was so much easier than Accounting 1, but it still does present some difficulties. Accounting in general is very difficult but Conrecode will do anything to make sure you do well. As long as you show ambition and come to her in her office if you need help, she will do everything in her abilities to help you pass. Take this teac

its accounting so we all know it sucks, but at this school you have a choice between burgess and conrecode. let me just say bluntly that burgess's class is about as glamorous as a cold sore. conrecode is awsome, she makes class entertaining, and actually teaches & explains the material to you. shes always in her office to help too.

This is one of the best professors I have had while at FGCU. I have taken accounting classes while at USF and this accounting course blows them out of the water. I passed both accountings with her with a A. I would recomend her to anyone looking for accounting, she is highly energetic :)

Probably one of the best professors at fgcu. Makes accounting fun and easy. Uses online hw and quizzes which you have multiple chances on. If you have to take accounting 1 or 2, you have to take it with Conrecode. She's the absolute best. She doesn't use the textbook that much. I got an A and bought the older edition.

I had her for both Financial and Managerial. She is the best. She is an absolute must have professor. She makes a tough topic both easy nd interesting. My only complaint is that she only teaches those two classes. I wish she would teach FRA as well.

Managerial Accounting is a tough class with any professor. Conrecode trys to make it understandable and is willing to help. You have to stay on top of the class to do well. She makes jokes and trys to be fair. She is up front with her expectations. Keep on top of studying from the beginning and go to free tutoring sessions to do well.

Conrecode is awesome. Really relieves your fears of accounting. Just buy the notes packet from the book store and study and you will do fine.

Honestly the best professor I have EVER had. I am changing my major to Accounting because she made me fall in love with the material. Tests are literally written out for you in handouts she makes. You have to TRY to do badly. Go to office hours whenever possible, she answers all questions you may have!

Best intro accounting teacher at FGCU. I took over the summer. It's an easy class if you apply time to it. The homework and quizzes are tough, but it's all in notesbook, doing all of it really helps for the exams. A little disappointed she uses Canvas for hw, but saves $100. Missed an A by 2-3 Final Exam questions- They can't bump so be careful.

Awesome Professor! Her lectures can be a bit dull at times but she has a real passion for teaching this subject. Attendance is kind of mandatory and the homework and quizzes can be a little hard, but just use all the resources that she gives you and this will be an easy A/B.

I love her!! I took her for financial & this class. Shes very flexible with her office hours. Unfortunately, starting Fall 2016 she wont be teaching this course. With that said, I would recommend reading the chapter before going to class, taking good notes, and coming prepared to class. Put time into this class, and you'll get the grade you need.

Great professor. The first time taking Accounting with another professor I was completely lost but with the way she has the lessons set up it finally clicked. There is a lot of homework and online quizzes but they really help you prepare for the exams. Overall, it is a tough class but she makes it clearer to understand and will make you laugh.

Her humor is something else, either you'll love it or think its strange. This class can be challenging so I had to study a lot but she teaches in a way that you'll really be able to understand the material. *The hw is the only thing that trips most people up, but it prepares you for the test*

This is one of my favorite teachers at the university. She teaches the course in a manner that is easy to understand and much more comprehensible than the textbook. Her course packet for this class made the subject matter easy to understand and it was easy to study for her exams because she made study exams.

Favorite professor so far here at fgcu. She lays all the material out clearly for you with awesome notes. Homework will take a while, but if you master them you will ace all your tests. She gives you all the tools you need to be able to get an A in the class.

Professor Conrecode makes accounting very fun and very easy to learn. She is always telling jokes and using helpful analogies. She sticks around to help with homework for anyone who needs it. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you probably don't want to miss class if you plan on learning the material.

I absolutely loved Professor Conrecode! This is a flipped class, so if you are not willing to put in the time to watch the lecture videos you might struggle. However, I enjoyed how the class is set up. As long as you stay on top of the videos & hw, you will do well. If you don't do the work & get hw answers from others you will do poor on the exams

Ok, heres the tea, Prof is super funny and really nice, but there is SO MUCH work. don't say i didnt warn you. This is a hard class. I am an honors student and i have a C. how to survive: come to class, its not mandatory but if you dont come you really will suffer. make friends on the first day and suffer together. dont zone out. you can do it.

Prof Conrecode is a rare professor. Flipped classroom but the lectures and notes are high quality and organized. Very available outside of class and supportive. Show some effort and you are well on your way to passing.

ACG 2021 is a hard class. DR. C is funny. learning is online through videos, in class we go over hw and any questions we had from notes. She puts lecture notes on canvas, print them and fill them out. need mcgrawhill connect membership (access code) to do ch quizzes. Prof tries to make class easy but its not an easy class.

Prof Conrecode is great! This class is a lot of work and you have to be proactive. Be prepared to watch the videos, read the textbook and do homework before each class. It will help! This is the best teacher if you have to take ACG2021. Attending online lectures are very important for learning and participation points. As long as you read the weekly chapters, you will do fine with homework. There are 3 exams that are worth the majority of your grade, but if you put in time to learn the material, you will succeed in this class.

I work full time and had to cover for my supervisor - otherwise I'm sure I would have gotten a B easily. There's a lot of work, but Prof C is so organized that its hard to not keep up. if you do your best and ask questions she is always willing to help. Make sure you put in the time and effort and Prof C will do everything she can to help you out.

Professor Conrecode was a great professor for learning accounting. The study resources were good but did not completely align with the tests. Conrecode uses a flipped-classroom teaching style, so you will be watching about 2 hours of extra instruction for each chapter. Overall I would say she is a good choice. Get to Office hours very helpful.

She was a great professor and really tried to make us understand what we were learning and she was also very energetic and tried to make the class fun. Most of the grades come from the exams, so make sure you are well prepared coming into the exams. Don't be scared by the ~50% fail rate. If you put in a good effort, you should be able to pass.

Accounting sucks no matter who you take. If you're going to take accounting take her. She's funny and her videos are easy to follow. Class is graded very heavily on the three exams. Because we met once a week I had about two hours of video lecture notes. Not bad. Other accounting professor sucks I hear.

This course is difficult, but tutoring helps. Prof is intimidating but helpful and has office hours almost everyday. HW is time consuming and tough, but you get multiple attempts and none of it is busy work. Pay attention during the lectures, the example problems are very helpful for homework and tests. You can really tell she wants you to succeed.

I absolutely loved this professor. She required us to attend class and after experiencing accounting, I completely understand why. She made class enjoyable and was very easy to understand when she was explaining. I did not expect a great grade because this is a difficult class, but this professor really helped me succeed.

You need to understand accounting sucks. But, professor Conrecode is by FAR the best one to teach it. The class is somewhat hybrid with video lectures and in-class practice. The video lectures, while somewhat long, were very informative. Very manageable to do a chapter a week. I got an A in this class but trust me it was not easy.

accounting is hard in general. conrecode makes it obvious from the start she puts immense amounts of effort into her work, and she cares a lot about her students. she breaks down this topic in the most digestible way, and if you keep on top of the class, you will pass. she was also insanely understanding when ian hit. take this class!

Very easy-going and is extremely passionate about what she teaches, which makes learning topics so much easier. The assignments are very straightforward and she provides a ton of resources outside of class to help further understand topics. My favorite thing about her is that she replies to emails practically at lightspeed, no matter the reason.

I think Conrecode gets a bad rep only from students who do not try in her class. She is so passionate about accounting which translates to the students who are willing to put in the work. Accounting is hard in general, you are going to have to put a lot of effort in regardless of the prof. I think Conrecode gives you the best chance to pass.

She took over my class halfway through the semester and was a bit tougher than our original professor. Accounting is a tough course no matter who you take it with, but she had good lectures and gave us a lot of information. Beware, the exams have a large free-response section, so they are not entirely multiple-choice.

Professor Conrecode is by far the best professor I have ever had at FGCU. Not only is she great at explaining concepts, but she is hilarious and is absolutely passionate about accounting. Her passion and dedication to her students is apparent with everything she does; She is truly an inspiration. I highly recommend Professor Conrecode.

She's funny and helps you understand if you're stuck. ACG is difficult no matter who you get, but she makes it as easy as she possibly can. About 4 assignments due every week, one of which she gives in each class so if you miss class you miss the questions. All assignments are weighted evenly, and she grades by points rather than percentages

Her class was so amazing! Compared to other professors that I had heard of from friends, she gave the most joy in teaching the subject, You'll have three packets, along with book reading and then showing up to class for lectures, there's a total of just 4 exams and the at home work is easy if you listen and read the book an take notes

Literally the best professor to take for intro to financial. She expects you to review the section before class and in class you go over everything again for understanding and she'll do practice problems with you. Tests were basic on concepts and heavy on multiple choice. Greatest prof ever wish she taught managerial.

She is funny, helpful, and cares about your success. This is a difficult class and you need to put the work and time in outside of class, but do what she says and you will succeed. She is an awesome professor and by far the best one you could have for accounting.

Take professor Conrecode, if you don't YOU WILL REGRET IT. She is the best professor in the department, she's sarcastic funny and honest Attendance is not mandatory, BUT if you don't attend class you will not pass. Her MWF classes are only WF besides the first week of school. Video lectures, EXAMS ARE 60% of your total grade. Point base grade scale

Professor Conrecode was great. She's very clear about how the class works, but overall she's a great professor and funny too. It's a flipped classroom, so you have to watch the lectures before coming to class, but since it's a concept that can be hard to grasp, it works well. Would take her classes again for sure.

Took this class in a mini term, this subject is not easy. I'm not an accounting major either so it took alot of hours of being a proactive learner. Best professor Ive had at FGCU so far. You will EARN your grade, there's lecture videos, guided practice videos and homework every week. BUT YOU WILL LEARN in her class. Go to tutoring/her office hours!

look no matter what accounting isn't going to be easy but she is by far the best professor for Intro to financial accounting. She makes the course as easy as possible and teaches the information very thoroughly.

There is a lot of work with this class but she LITERALLY gives u a step by step guide to pass. Yes the work takes a lot of time so don't fall behind, but SHE WANTS YOU TO PASS. You will pass as long as you also want to pass as much as she wants you to. Wish she taught managerial!

Conrecode has been by far the best professor I have had at FGCU. Accounting is difficult regardless of who you take, but she made the class a lot easier to understand. I took her class as a mini but she made the course material as easy to understand as she could and accounting a little more fun. Would highly recommend taking her class.

I loved Professor Conrecode. The course is difficult, but she makes it as easy as she possibly can. There is a lot of work outside of class, but it really helps you understand the material if you do it. She was always available for assistance if needed. There are 3 exams that are a mix of multiple choice questions and homework questions.

ACG is hard no matter who you take but she really does try to make it make sense. Class is kinda flipped but only on Mondays, you have Monday off every week to do that. You have about 3-4 hw assignments so be ready to work. Her vids rlly do just make concepts make sense. Class is test heavy, worth 65% of your grade. Final being 30%. No late work.

For a class as tough as this, she lays out a yellow brick road for you to follow. As long as you do everything she tells you to do including watch the videos (I didn't), you can get a B in the class. Getting a C is very possible.

Look, accounting will be a difficult class regardless of who you take but professor conrecode is probably the best accounting professor at fgcu. She lays out a clear path to success and is open for office hours if needed. Just put in the time and work and you should pass.

She was a great professor for accounting. There was 4 assignments a week, very manageable but you'll just need to make time for it in order to pass her class. Would definitely recommend her for accounting.

Professor Conrecode was amazing! There is a lot of assignments due each week but they are necessary for your success in the course. She doesn't give you busy work, and at least two of the assignments per week you should get 100% on because you have so many tries to complete. There is only a couple quizzes and 3 tests. She is helpful and reachable.

If you apply yourself and stay committed to getting stuff done on time then you'll be good chapter 7/8 threw me off a little so don't lose focus.

If you're looking for someone who knows everything she's doing, and is caring and funny, take this professor.

Mrs. Conrecode is absolutely incredible! Going into accounting I wasen't sure how well I was going to do, she made it as simple as possible and allowed me to understand the concepts easier. There is a lot of assignments involved with this class, but it is worth it in the end. Take her for accounting and you won't regret it!

Professor Conrecode is awesome only teacher I recommend taking this class with is committed to making you understand the material, she is super available so utilize her office hours and the tutoring sessions for better understanding the course itself is not easy, but she wants to help and will lookout just be diligent about learning the subject

Prof C was amazing. She gave very concise lectures and has a way of really making you understand the material. On top of that, she is really funny and her class is very organized/manageable. Monday- take notes, Wednesday- guided practice, and homework is due by Saturday night.
