Where to begin? She is tough and it is hard to get an A. But I worked very hard for her and I got that A! Had her for 101, am now in her 102 class. I had Dailey for 101 and requested her for 102. She is an amazing professor with great energy and enthusiasm, and she is always ready to help in any way she can. There is a lot of work and you need to be up for it, but she makes it better with her awesome personality. she is a tough grader but you will be a much better reader/writer because of it.

Today after 20 years of being out of high school i am at holyoke community college. I have one class with a wonderful professor. I was scared before entering the class but when inside and listening to Dailey and finding out the type of person she is it made my worries go away. I am confident that i will make it in her class even if its my only one

Daily is amazing. I've always gotten along with my English teachers but this one is so full of life she gets you excited even if your too tired. She's a tough cookie but she tells you up front without fluff, what she expects from you. So just do it. Questions? Ask her. I find it easier to follow directions the way she lays them out. I signed up for her class based on others' experiences with her and all of these high ratings on this site. She'll teach you to write well. She is available to help if you ask. On the above, she meets the criteria for a good professor. What I didn't like was her self-obsession. She talks a lot about herself. That is unprofessional.

This professor is not fluff, if you are a teen fresh out of high school and feel you did not get much from it than this is the professor for you.(Warning) If you are someone who is ?seasoned? and has a lot going on in life and just needs to take a course for the credits this one might not be the course to take. She is work heavy.

If your desire is to learn how to write "one damn good essay" you belong in Jackie Dailey's class. If you want an easy grade look elsewhere. If lecture and lesson are based in the same realm, then adding a personal story enhances the the level of understanding the text. But, of course, one needs maturity to understand this concept.

The Best Eng. Professors and the funnest Professor

Dailey is the best English teacher I ever had! I didn't realize how and at which moment exactly, but she took me on the higher level of English skills during the first semester with her, when I didn't know how to speak English at all. She made believing in myself; believing that I can do what I didn't think I could. Impossible is possible with her!

Dailey. She's a great professor who cares a lot about her students futures and wants community students to know they can be University graduates. She funny, she's very blunt. If you have anxiety when it comes to school or in general I don't recommend but she will get you where you should be.

I have never enjoyed an English class in my entire life until I took ENG101 with Dailey. If you're looking for an easy A, she isn't the professor for you. By far the best professor on campus. She is someone that truly cares for every single student that she has. Dailey so far is the best English Proffesor I had at HCC. She makes you work hard for your grade but she truely cares for each of her students and she makes class to be a lot of fun. At times she may give a lot of homework and assigns a lot of reading to do but don't give Dailey a hard time or her cobra will come out.

Jacqueline Dailey is a professor that cares about the outcomes of her students, and will work with them individually to help them improve. While you will have to put effort into this course, Dailey is not unreasonable. You will have to participate more than you would in most other classes, but you will do so in a welcoming and friendly environment.

The two people who evaluated Dailey for this past semester must have an axe to grind about their own lack of effort--or bad grade--- in a college class. First of all, Dailey NEVER required that we print out any article. She doesn't live in the past! She accepted any form of annotation from Google Classroom docs/slides/cell pictures, you name it.

Dailey is tough am not going to lie but if your worried your not a good writer take her class and I promise you will be a better writer coming out of her class. She is dedicated to her class and does not take slack at all which I prefer. If you plan not to have good attendance this class is not for you. she gives a lot of feedback in papers too.

I loved taking Professor Dailey's class!! Her grading is fair and consistent. Her class was engaging and fun, and I would take it again without a second thought. Dailey has high standards for all of her students. I struggled with the first part of her class, but you will get to understand her grading more and more after each assignment. You wont get feedback on all your assignments, but definitely get tutoring help because she hates grammar mistakes. Shes the aunt I wish I had. Very funny as well

She is an overall great teacher to have who is smart and really fun. She cares a lot about her students, which is reflected by the fact that she maintains a high standard and pushes them to do better and improve. I love Dailey as a prof. I only had two classes aside from hers but having work due for all of them was a lot.
